OOC: The Strato-Dreadnought has 8 ion cannons, 2 forward, 2 backward and 4 in the middle 2 on each side of the ship. To launch a second 2 cannon volley it has to turn to 35 degrees in order to do so.

Bekhaeran Capital

Already the Alversian Miniguns were in action along the grounds of the Emperor's home, mowing down Korr troops as they tried to cross the marshalling grounds to attack the palace. This, combined with the efforts of the Alversian Marines and the Army aircraft ensured any progress was slow and bloody for the Korr troops.

Space, Near Bekhaera

Realising that the Korr had no intention of following them, the Alversian fleet did a u-turn in an attempt to break the Korr blockade. Hundreds of ion blasts from all ships of the fleet flew straight towards the Korr vessels and a group of 15 fighters attacked the Korr flagship.

OOC: Where is a Korr battleship's weakpoint, out of curiousity?

OOC: Out of curiosity my ass. :) The weak point is, if you can sufficintly weaken it's shields, goes like this:
1) Attack it's engines, which will paralyze it
2) Try to put a few missiles either in the loading bays or near the bridge. This will weaken the armor and the hull integrity in general.
3) A large barrage or a small pinpoint strike on the bridge will weaken the ship, leaving it drifting, helpless.
Or you can board it, but that would be bloody

Bekhaeran Orbit

Four Alversian cruisers joined the fighters in attacking the flagship, 8 ion guns were fired directly at the bridge and the XX-22's launched their missiles towards the roof of the bridge ignoring the close-quarters chaos around them and focusing on their own mission.

OOC: What about the home front? Am I to presume offensive action has been put on hold for the moment?

Also, did the Xiscapian fleet turn around as well or am I on my own?

00C: Yes, nothing's going on in the Xiscapian system at the moment. The Xiscapian fleet is attacking the opposite side of the ring at the moment, trying to land ground troops to assist the Bekhearan/Alversian army fighting for the capital. So, yes, you are on your own for the time being, but as soon as the troops land the rest of the Xiscapian fleet will come assist you.
Space...
The battleships finally punched a hole though the Korr defenses and began landing troops and the rest of their Mechs. The Xiscapian troops, all the Mechs and all 170,000 troops, 400 tanks and 800 hovercrafts attacked the Korr inside the city. Lasers fired and Korr were thrown into the air, flaming. In close quarters the Xiscapian troops drew their swords and the streets ran with Korr blood. Mechs fired at each other, destroying entire battalions at a time. The capital was half destroyed, and Korr, Xiscapian, Alversian, Bekherian, and civilian dead law everywhere. Buildings lay crumbled and tanks, Mechs, and hovercrafts lay in flaming wrecks. Now open warfare reigned around the capital. Now it was no longer united against the Korr: Guilds were fighting each other and battle crazed civilians grabbed weapons and shot anything that moved. It was total insanity. However, the Korr broke though and flooded the palace, searching for the Emperor...
Space...
The Xiscapians fleet rejoined it's allies in fighting the massive Korr navy.

Space

The Strato-Dreadnought launched an ion broadside into the enemy flagship, it was a devastating volley and the shields couldn't hope to take the pressure.
Meanwhile, once again, Alversian gunnery skill showed and the Korr were beginning to lose ships at an accelerated level. The fighters were also destroying the Korr fighters in droves.

Emperor's Palace

Four Korr troops were flung out the window by the BS-90 shotgun blast that came courtesy of the Alversian Marines. The Miniguns were still eliminating every Korr wave which attempted to swarm the positions. In the city streets, Alversian troops were rallying the Civilians, arming them and trying to incorporate them into the Alversian battlegroups. Down one street, two AP-102's destroyed dozens of outclassed Korr tanks as they attempted to storm the street. Fighters were strafing anything daring to show itself above the ruins. The Korr fighters were making little attempt to intercept the fighters although this may have something to do with nervousness. The Korr had yet to shoot down an FT-44 whilst they had lost hundreds against it.

The emperor sat on his throne, he was 23 years of age but it seemd he would not grow any older...war was at his doorstep it seemed, the palace was under siege, but in his eyes others saw not a child but a warrior and it ws here that he assembled the Arcaen.. a group of soldiers devoted to the ancient ways of fighting

"Menit has been a privilege to fight alongside you...know that if I die today then the ancient house of Bekha..the only family to have ruled this empire dies with me..and it has been an honour to fight alongside you... and serve you..assemble the palace guard..tell them to allow the enemy into the underground chamber...it holds thousands and there thousand will meet their fate!" The emperor ordered, he had kept a secret all his life from the world, he was not the last... the last of the royal line, there was another who had served his enemy during the civil war, who had now become the symbol of everything the empire stood for..and where was he now? He was across the galaxies waiting to fight a war that had led to hsi own homeworld...his name was Treys Renada or his birthname Aloten Skaea Bekha..the last of the bloodline if the emperor were to die

In spave the mobile suits fired volley after volleye and their attack seemed to be working but they were also being mowed down by Korr vessels and their own allies vessels as the sky was too small to manouevre

"This is no battle, this is a massacre, we cannot win!" a mech pilot shouted as another hundred Mech suits were absorbed and obliterated by the Korr shields

Meanwhile Back in Khath Bekha

"Abandon the guilds! Abandon the city!" Yelled many of the factions but none would, instead in Magii Square one hundred thousand Bekhaerans stood side by side, once enmies now brothers in arms, they bored their insignias upon their sleeves but the banners of the Chimera blew in the wind

"FIRE!" screamed the Bekhaerans as a wall of Korr were toppled by the gunfire, the Bekhaerans repeated this until they had no more ammunition, they had taken out 5 times their number but still thatw as not enough, the Korr came one more tiem & this time...the elites came

"Arm solar nexus...NOW!"yelled a senior soldier as four men brought a nexus forward andplaced it on his back "rush the enmy, break into the core of the troops and set this off!"

As the Bekhaersn primed the nexus a second wave came and surrounded the bekhaerans, Magii square was on the outskirts of the capital and luckily had been evacuated but unlucky for those fighting at that moment their deatsh wouldnot be instant

"fire solar nexus!" screamed the soldier as the nexus primed and exploded, in the emptied houses, schools, streets & across all Bekhaera the sound of a hundred thousand men echoed "freedom! freedom" and then...silence

the solar nexus burst into life,eleven square miles erupted in a fireball and 120 miles into the sky a great tower of fire rose, from space it could be seen, some regarded it as beauty, others foolishness but this was the power of the minor nexus units...today was a dark day

Space

Amongst the battle, the Alversian Admiral could see the shapes of an explosion on the radar. He shook his head sadly, too many Alversians were being killed by Allies as they destroyed their own cities. The Alversian troops had had the situation under control, the Korr advance was slowing, not that it mattered now. He turned to see the enemy flagship in flames. he could focus his hate on that for now, "FIRE!" he screamed as eight ion cannons launched into the unprotected battleship, it rolled over slowly and exploded. All around the Alversian and Xiscapian fighters were beginning to get the edge over their opponents. The Korr fleet looked ready to withdraw.

Magii Square was now charred ruins,nothing had survived but the majority of the city was intatct..just

Enemy attacks had increased and now they had entrered the palacial quarter, the Arcane had lured the Korr into the underground chambers of the palacial quarter

Behind them the ancient dorrs closed shrouding the Korr in darkness and ahead of them lay a great coliseum undeground and there is where the emperor watched the hordes gather

"Enemies of my people...there is no escape, and now this is where your souls will remain trapped for eternity, may wahtever god you worship have mercy" and with that the emperor and the arcane guards sealed the only remaining exit...at least a hundred thousand korr were trapped in the labyrinthine tunnels and there were no way outs, no exits for them to flee

In the centre of the coliseum stood a statue and in its hands lay a small black box...a nexus and then boom...it exploded another fire nexus engulfing the Korr the screams of soon to be dead souls echoed throughout the catacombs, thousands rushed to the exits to find them blocked and then nothing...not a soul survived....the emperor opened up the other passageway to see for hismelf the nexus' power

"this is the price we must pay for salvation...this was not beauty, this was war..."

Bekhaeran Capital

"Order 47 has been launched! CHARGE!!" the Captain shouted as thousands of screaming Alversians leaft their positions and charged straight towards the Korr troops, much to the astonishment of their Bekhaeran allies, machine gun fire began to rip through the troops and many were thrown backwards by the bullets, still the Alversians came, screaming forwards. A tank fired and lifted many Alversians off their feet but still they continued forward. Just half of them were left by the time they reached halfway across the open area, but the Korr were starting to panic at the charge and many were attempting to abandon their posts only to be pushed or shot back into place by their officers.

Over 2/3 of the Alversian force was dead but they continued forward. A teenager was hit in the head and he fell backwards in a cloud of his own blood. Now there were too many Korr attempting to retreat for Officers to hold and so they joined the rout. The Bekhaerans began to advance forward to occupy the old Korr positions. They had beaten back the enemy but at a terrible price.

Of the 3,000 Alversians who had charged, only 50 were left standing. That was what Order 47 did to you. Victory or Death. There was no middle ground.

A single Korr dropships fell, out of control, towards the planets surface. The single pilot glanced behind him. Held in place by a dozen cables was a small, black box with red Chimera markings. The Korr high command had decided though the capital city and their Emperor was surly dead, they wanted to finish the job. Having stolen blueprints, raw materials, and having the Nexus itself, they had managed to reconstruct the Nexus. It was not a planet killer, but it would ravange a area the size of a contenient. While flying down though the battle several Xiscapiam fighters had targeted the dropship. Laser fire had damaged the hull and engines, but the Korr flagship itself had come to the tiny dropships aide, only to be destroyed seconds later. Now the dropship fell with the force of a continent destroyer right on course for the capital city. The sensors blared and the pilot saw a Xiscapian LightAssualt Mech behind him. The Mech flew forward and hugged the dropship, slowing it's decent. With no control and no way to time his fall, the dropship slowed in the Mechs arms. But the Mech was not enough to stop the dropship. The pilot was counting on the impact to have suffecent force to destroy the Nexus. If it was slowed even by half it would only put a blast radius of two miles. Right now it was slowed 75%. The pilot saw the rubble of the city rushing up to meet him. He closed his eyes and there was a flash of fire...
Space...
On the Cruiser Oath captain Wasto saw from space a gigantic explosion envelop what was left of the capital city. The rush of fire spread out over the landscape, blowing away buildings, trees, hills, people, tanks, Mechs, anything and everything within a 7 mile zone. Any Korr, Xiscapians, Alversians, or Bekhaerans in or anywhere near the city would have been reduced to so much dust. With this the rest of the Korr fleet detatched from the battle and jumped home. The damaged Xiscapian, Alversian, and Bekhaeran fleets hung in orbit over the devestated landscape below them. No medical ships were sent down. There was nothing left of that part of the world.
OOC: Does this mean your Emperor is dead? Or is he deep enough underground to avoid the blast?

OOC: Oh the son of a bitch is proper dead now thanks, and I do mean thanks, I get to RP hsi finalmoments..shwiiing haha

The emperor rushed out to the courtyard of the palace where more Korr were fighting againt the allies and then along with the Arcane they drew gunblades and charged releasing volley after volley of bullet and steel unto the Korr but it wasnt enough

A Korr soldier landed behind the emperor and with a great downward thrust impaled him, he fell to his knees, blood dripping from his wound to the floor, these were his final moments and to himself he began to sing, the Bekhaeran soldiers immeditaley turned to see their fallen emperor and began hacking away at the enemy, taking no prisoners,limbs were flying and the roads were red and together with the emperor they began to sing

"in Bekhaera true and old, the cities wrought from stone, from the depths to the skies we roar!"

& then it happened, their own weapon turned against them or well something along the lines of their own weapon,a device similar but not as powerful as true nexus was set off but before this could happen the emperor took out a small electronic pad and tapped in the code 7356 and a message was sent, to whom no one knows but his dying words recorded were just sent to someone it seems trusted and strong enough to witness tragic words...fire consumed the city,nothing survived...

Meanwhile in Xiscapian space

Treys was piloting the Bahamut suit around to Protector station when an intense burning pain took controlof his senses, he griiped his head fearing it would explode the pain he was in & then on the screen appeared him...

"Treys...its me Alreic..if youre getting this then I guess.. I guess I've joined father & mother in the next world...brother, I have said many times I am sorry for what father did... I am sorry that you were experimented on and treated like a creature but he was foolish at best of times, but he was a good father nonetheless...and now it is fallen unto you to restore what is left of the empire, as long as there is always one the Bekhaeran people will not falter or die out...yu brother are the new Emperor of the Eternal Bekhaeran Empire...who'd have thought it aye? Father did...as did mother..even I knew it would end with you as emperor, kinda unlucky I didnt have children but what life would i have been for them... but yes I babble on & tbh this is weird... I'm dead yet still speaking to you...hmm peculiar haha, before I died my brainwaves and knowledge were downladed into a computer system On Bekhaera, so every event leading up to my death it seems is placed into this program and well here I am...I survive on in you my brother and in this A.I. program, i am now the Bahamut's A.I. and will help with ay or every matter you see fit..good luck brother" the message read,

Treys sat there, behind his mask a weakened man sat, crying,lamenting the loss of his brother

"This was all my fault! I brought them the weapon that killed you...they willpay!" Screamed Treys as he charged up the bahamuts twin laser beam cannons and aimed them towards any Korr vessel he sawor was tracking, hell hath no fury...

Treys knew he would have to leave the admiralty in Korathi's hands as he would now need to prepare the fightback at home...

"Brother...no deed goes unpunished...for Bekhaera."

"Confirmed He's dead Field Marshall" The transmission said. Field Marshall Anacobra was standing on a hill watching the Alversian Army fighting to reenter the city, the Korr had landed a second wave and were now trying to advance. The Alliance was driving them back towards their ships. He shook his head sadly and stared at the sky and began to whisper an old Alversian poem to himself.

"So another passes into darkness
Another meets his end
Who shall stop the killing
There are some Wounds time will never mend"

He stared back at the battle and made to contact the Commander nearest the front

"It's over! The Emperor is dead!" This was sent from an Xiscapian near the front lines back to command. "We've failed...it's over. Kill all remaining Korr, then retreat back up to the ships. This is a dark day in all our races history..." When the Xiscapians heard this they fought with renewed vigor, if only to survive in time for the battle to be over. Eventually all the Korr were either dead or had surrendered. Most tried to surrender to the Alversians, knowing they would suffer at the hands of the Xiscapians. And so the dropships came, removing the surviving troops, then the bodies. Wreckage lay strewn everywhere, blood spilled onto the grass from the bodies. The capital was completly gone, nothing left, not even bodies. Xiscapians wept for their dead, their allies dead, this whole damn war. As an Xiscapian trooper climbed into the dropship a bit of Xiscapian poetry came to mind:
"Bullets fly and heros die
War is terrible, it is true
But through our fight others are born anew
We die to protect
To preserve, to uphold
So the willingly we must die and grow cold
If our children and families are to grow old."

The Battle was over and the Korr were trying to surrendar to the Alversian Troops. It broke their hearts not being able to take them but having instead to turn them over to the Xiscapians. They could see the fear and sadness in their eyes and it made them feel worse. For over 400 years Alversia had prided herself on her ability to treat prisoners well. No matter what they had done in return to the Alversian people. Morale plummetted and the Alversians made their thoughts clear:

"The handing of prisoners over to the Infected is a betrayal of the 70,000 dead in this battle and the 64,000 dead at Tenfour. We cannot allow ourselves to be lowered to this level, we request that our own prisoners be allowed to return to Alversian POW camps, the deal with the Infected was with you, we never ratified it" This was what Field Marshall Anacobra said to the Xiscapian command in Bekhaera. He was determined that Alversian tradition would not be forsaken just for these viruses

General Archimedes Volta messaged hsi allis, he was know in temporary charge of Bekhaera following the emperors death

"All Korr shall REMAIN in Bekhaera, they are OUR prisoners, none shall leave...any attempt to remove them from the planet shall result in grave consequences...is that understood!"

Volta was a vicious man, he had sided with the rebels during the civil war but he was pivotal in the rebels nearly assuming control, a military genius capable of turning a ragtag bunch of soldiers into a fighting force to be reckoned with

" we shall muster the remaining forces from across Bekhaera to rebuild the city to a greater image,and we shall make the enemy help in rebuilding our great empire..they shall pay for their sins!"

The remaining peoples of Bekhaera numbered less than a billion but stillmore than 900 million strong evacuated to the outer areas protected by the rocky outcrops and ravines which could house millions due to the extensive work done over past 200 years

The military that remained numbered 15 million but they had lost over 50 million ppl including 5 million soldiers when Khath Bekha fell to the Nexus imitation...


Meanwhile halfway at the edge of the chimera sytem

The Bahamut vessel burst into the region with the entire Bekhaeran fleet, it seemed for the first tiem in centuries the entire army would be one again

"hmm at last..I'm home... brother I wont let you down" a voice whispered in a darkened room... it was Treys, his mask now replaced with a crimson one

To: General Volta

We are sorry to hear of the sacrafice that has been by your Emperor for the defence of Bekhaera. He will be remembered for generations as the hero that he truly was. In regards to Prisoners, those who have surrendered to us shall be returned to the Alversian system until this war has ended. We understand that you wish to hold them here but it is against Alversian Battle Rules to knowingly hand over Prisoners with the knowledge of potential mistreatment. We hope that you can repay the sacrafice of our Troops by allowing us to hold the 7,500 POW's that we hold.

"Mistreatment..nooo..you misunderstand our intentions, these prisoners will be treated with the utmost respect but we remidn you as long as anyone is on Bekhaeran soil & in bekhaeran imperial space they are subject to our laws..there are NO exceptions my dear Field Marshall Anaconda... that is soemthing you must respect...and obey as we would within your borders..and to the plan..we shall expand the citys natural limits but first whatever dead remain we shall bury them , korr corpses shall be burned." Volta stated, it seemed he was relsihing the rol oe temporary ruler of Bekhaera all too much, what would happen when Treys would arrive?

Anaconda nodded, he understood what the Bekhaerans were going to do. He didn't want to get bogged down in politic either. While he was an excellent diplomat, he preferred fast aggressive action. The Tank Divisions under his command were the best in the Alversian Army and he was keen to launch a counter-attack against the Korr troops still in the area.

"SIR WE HAVE REPORTS OF ADMIRAL TREYS AND THE UNITED EIGHTEENTH AND THIRTEENTH FLEET ARE ENTERING CHIMERA SYSTEM..IT SEEMS HE HAS SOMETHING TO ANNOUNCE , INVOLVING THE FALLEN EMPEROR!" an soldier shouted over the sounds of tank and mech movements, the mech suits used in the defense of Bekhaera had now landed on ground, they would finish off the Korr and rebuild the empire

"hmm tryes must be dealt with, I cannot have him interfere with the plans of the Order..he is a threat & he is a beat & all beast must be dealt with... ORDER THE FLEET TO FORM A RING DEFENSE OVER THE PLANET AND ALL AVAILABLE GROUND WEAPONS ABOARD VESSELS TO EB TRANSFERRED ON GROUND, WE SHALL MAKE THIS PLANET A FORTESS!" Volta ordered all hsi troops

Treys sat in darkness, his new clothes seemed more dark, he was adarker person now, his new mask which hid his face was decorated with images of chimeras,his new clothes resembled those of the centuries gone

His cape was a dark one emblazoned with a red chimera on the back and his waistcoat black, his shirt crimson and on each hand he wore a glove, both black and each carrying the letters XIII - the thirteenth fleet which Treys had commanded for so long, his family

"I am...home. Ensign signal the other members of the fleet tell them that Aloten Skaea Bekha, the Emperor of the Eternal Bekhaeran Empire has come to unite its peoples once more!" Treys ordered as the vessels of the fleets fired towards Bekhaera

Our Forces in the area have noticed with concern that there is a possibility of Civil War breaking out. This is an internal matter and Alversia has no right to intefere but we would advise against it for the mean time until the Korr threat can be dealt with.

"Its still weird being referred to as the emperor..nonetheless I need to rally my people,message Volta..he is the logical choice to assume temporary control of the empire in my absence, despite the fact he's a murderer with an ego problem..message him informing I wish to meet wioth him aboard the Pegasus space station orbiting the planet, and tell him...thats an order!" Treys ordered as the fleet broke into orbit just outside of Terra, the moon of Bekhaera, there was still a raging war going on above the planet but now with reinforcements the Korr must submit

"message the Korr...tell whomever is their leader on this endeavour to meet with me at the Pegasus staion & message all the allies, i want their top leaders in this system to meet with, no lackies , i wnat the topmen...this is important!"

Upon recieving the message to join to the Pegasus, the Alversians sent Field Marshall Anaconda to the Station, as the most Senior man in either theatre of war he was in the best position to meet the new Emperor.

Meanwhile on Terra, a few Korr strongholds still refused to yield, the Alversian Marines were forced to blow them out using the Tanks and Artillery, the few survivors surrendared quickly

these three had survived the annhilation of many towens and cities across Bekhaera and now they sought to wipe out the enemy threat once and for all

"Incoming vessel, incoming vessel! The emperor approaches" was the mixed noises of the Pegasus tannoy & the common murmurings of the crew as they prepared for the arrivalof Treys

"hmmmph he is nothing special... Another fool who will die within a few years... they all do, its the curse of Bekhaera" Volta quipped before the Grand Arcane stepped in

"silence your tongue, he is of a long line of emperors, ones who are divine despite their modest claims they are but men,. this one himself is unnatural for he is the first in millenia to be born like the ancient god himself..so speak not ill of the godking otherwise you shall find yourself unfavoured when your time comes"

"big words from such a foolish old goat..keep quiet old man otherwise youll leave her with a few more holes" Volta replied angrily, Scholar Karro sat quitely as he studied several charts and papers

"I see traditional Bekhaeran manners still exist" a familar voice said,it was Treys in the doorway "I understand the officials of the allies are approaching the station..any news Volta?"

"none yet...my lord..." Volta uneasily replied, he hated Treys and all Treys stood for, Treys was anoble fighter while Volta was opportunist

The Alversian Shuttle approached flanked by two scarred XX-24 fighters. Aboard was Field Marshall Anaconda, Air Commodore Lewis and Admiral Benton. The three highest ranked men in the area. They landed at the station and made to follow a Bekhaeran soldier who offered to show them the way, they were accompanied by a dozen Democratic Guards for protection.

A tallsoldier, humanoid but not human approached the Alversian troopers...

"Are you here to see the emperor? if so youre troops cannot go any further, but fear not, beyond this door lies the emperor and the three Bekhaeran delegates but Treys has always been merciful, he says you can take 2 of your delegates with you as well as your own personal weapons...but none others may pass..I am most sorry for this inconvenience... Oh i forgot to state,my name is Peraxis...I am what you call..a Korr..."

Admiral Benton made to protect but was stopped by Anaconda. He just nodded and ordered Lewis to follow him, the two men followed the Korr and left their guard behind with a fuming Benton who returned to his flagship. As they walked towards the room, Anaconda asked Peraxis "How did you end up serving on this vessel?"

"Me.. I served my people well until the Bekhaerans attacked our homeworld but they ddint do it as a surprise attack they challenged us..no one had ever dared to challenge us before & many of us felt they would be a fine fight for our fleet but they defeated our first wave, but we knew as did they that a second wave would have been catastrophic so they left, not cowards ut realists, they sent our captured back and we theirs..if the heirarchs of the Korr homeworld knew this many would have been executed for doing this deal..I was part of those troops captured, did you knwo they ca[ptured several thousand of us...how many went back... 400..we knew there and then we were to fight for homourable leaders and so here we are..the first Korr Imperials of Bekhaera..I tarvel with Treys as part of hisbodyguard..he understands what it is liek to be sonsiderd different to your own people & now that I am one of the Bekhaeran people I too shall feel this change...but Treys is a marvellous man..he will bring stability to the empire" Peraxis spoke, he revered Treys fro he was more like him, he wasnt fully human but was more human that those who saw only battle as an excuse for murder...people like Volta

"ID CONFIRMED:PERAXIS" the machine replied back before the doors opened and there standing already was Treys , admiring the horizon

"Emperor Bekha... the Alversian delgates are here" Peraxis spoke before growling, he noticed Volta in the corner, he despised Volta for Volta had planned to murderall the Korr who were now on Bekhaeran surface in allied holding areas

Anaconda noticed Volta as well and gave him a small nod. Volta did not return the compliment. He and Lewis saluted and he introduced them
"Field Marshall Benetinne Anaconda of the Alversian People's Army and Air Commodore Ferrero Lewis of the Alversian People's Army Air Force. What is it you so desperately needed to meet with us about?"

"Peraxis, organise the troops on the planets surface..tell them to gather all remaining forces and tell them to meet with one another on the the cpitals outskirts." Treys ordered as Peraxis nodded and walked away and then nodded to Anaconda and her fellow companions before making his exit

"Trusting a creature like him are we know Treys..youre a bigger fool than I had thought..had you not forgotten his people killed your own twin brother..or had that escaped your memory..and the troops are not yours to command..I AM IN CHARGE OF THIS EMPIRE UNTIL YOU ARE CROWNED..YOU ARE MY SUBORINDATE DONT FORGET!" Volta raged on, he wasnt in the best of moods when suddenly Treys gripped him by the throat and lifted him up against the wall of the conference room

"DONT YOU EVER QUESTION MY JUDGEMENT UNLESS IT IS FOR THE BEST OF INTENTIONS YOU SNIVELLING PATHETIC GREEDY SWINE! YOU THINK ONLY OF YOURSELF AND AS OF THIS MOMENT I RELIEVE YOU OF YOUR COMMAND OF THE EMPIRE'S FORCES!" treys responded in an equally agressive tone before dropping Volta to the floor

"I wont serve anyone like you...I resign my post and I quit this pathetic excuse for an empire.." and with that Volta left the room and tore off his stars and threw them onto the floor, he commanded great respect throughout the empire and such as that a qaurter of the fleet was his own personal plaything, if he left so would they and they did just that, one qaurter of the fleet left orbit and jumped into hyperspace, he knew if he were to return to empire space..he would be executed for the only reason he would return would be to fight

"I am so sorry you had to witness this my dear Anaconda..Volta is a strongheaded fool from a time long gone but I will admit we willmiss his tactical genius and a sheer number of troops he has left with. Now onto pressing matters...this alliance...

a) all Korr shall remain on Bekhaara and none shall be executed, you have my word on that, we shall offer them the chance to either join with us, return to their homeworld and if neither work out they shall be turned over to you allies for your choice

b) rebuilding of the city of Khath Bekha shall begin immeditaly and any help would be well appreciated

c) the battle for Xiscapia shall continue, I have not forgotten this mission and it shall continue under Korathi's leadership not mine as I am needed here

d) the nexus... we are going to use the remaining nexus againts the enemy... they have their own version...we have the originals... they include

vii. the chimera nexus..this one makes the black hole nexus seem childsplay

the black hole nexus cannot hold strength for long, it works for an hour...we dont know why but it does..the chimera nexus on the other hand is a combination of all the nexus... its the doomsday device we feared for years... and now we place it in the charge of the alliance, for it to work, it needs one member from each race and alliance to be there to prime it and to activate it.

Anaconda nodded in approval of the plans. She was concerned about the mutiny of a quarter of the Bekhaeran Fleet, but it was a civil matter, no more. She turned to Treys and stated, "The plan is good, but I am unwilling to launch any form of a doomsday device on the enemy planet. I understand where you are coming from with these nexus but nevertheless Alversian battle rules will not allow a doomsday device dropped on any civilians of either side. That is how the Alversian Army functions and so long as I am in charge that is the way it will continue to function"

4th Moon, Gas Planet, Xiscapian System

The row of AP-102's fired at the old fortress, blowing an entire section of the wall down leaving nothing but dust and debris. The Alversian Infantry crept forward in the trenches, covered from the worst of the Korr fire. Above XX-24's and RB-114's launched missiles and bombs into the court of the old building. Blaster fire ripped across the open space, but who was in command was clear. After another while, the white flag went up and the Korr filed out in single fire, hands on heads.

Staring at the remnants of the battlefield was Field Marshall Jacobi, newest and most dynamic Commander of the Alversian Army, he was going to take every single outpost that the Korr possessed.

A message went out from the station, traveling at many times the speed of light. It would reach it's reciever in minutes, but by then it may already be too late. "To all allies in possession of Korr prisonars. Dispose of them at once! All Korr soldiers are as soon as they enter the army shot full of Gilgamesh. Gilgamesh is the Korr code word for a deadly type of virus. When the exact number of Korr that has been captured reachs the high command they will send out a message to the computers inside the Korr's bodies to release the virus. The virus is fast acting and once it has killed it's Korr host it will spread through the air and contaminate anyone near it, producing death whithin minutes. Killing the Korr will in turn kill the virus. We have no way of combating the virus or even of slowing it down. It is certain death to any who are exposed to it. Heed our pleas or many souls will die today!"
OOC: Remember what I said about the Nexus: If it destroys a planet it will throw the entire solar system off balance and doom it. Even a black hole would be deadly in such close quarters to Xiscapia and the surronding planets. Be advised. Only a small Nexus like the Korr use will work.

Upon hearing the message, all Korr under Alversian Custody were dispatched to the unmanned Prison Ships and left in quarintine. There they would stay until something could be done about the virus.

5th Moon, Gas Planet, Xiscapian System

The dozen Alversian ships burst out of hyperspace and floated slowly over the moon. Sensors detected that the moon was heavily armed and defended and that attack would futile. Jacobi smiled, as though such an order would stop him. He instantly gave the order to attack and all Alversian ships emptied of troops who flew straight into the waiting guns. These were his tactics, they had worked before, they would work again. He signalled to the Xiscapians asking weither they would like to donate to his little Campaign.

"Yes my lord. He is a honorable commander on a campain to rid Jomstar's many moons of the Korr. What shall we pledge to his cause?" The Emperor smiled. He had been watching this man. You had to admit, he had style. "Here is what we will send."

The Alversian/Xiscapian troops were advancing rapidly through crumbling opposition. Alversian and Xiscapian fighters came down to strafe the sheer cliff walls where the Korr had dug in and refused to move. As he watched, the Alversian/Xiscapian troops began scaling the walls of the cliff while the artillery and armour provided cover. One-by-One, each of the Korr gun emplacements were taken out and captured until eventually a white flag was raised and the guns stopped firing. Jacobi smiled, another impeneterable Fortress taken, this moon would soon by flying the Alversian flag.

"my friends although a quarter of the fleet has chosen a path of mutiny and desertion I assure you what remains is more than capable of fighting any battle... & onto the Nexus...I agree that it is a last resort but one tha must be considered but only at the end of all options &onto the discussion about refugees, Terra is ready for any Xiscapian wishing to leave their homes... it shall serve as a colony for all those who wish to flee war & other predujices as it has for 200 years now..the planet moon is one of the most ethnically diverse colonies in the empire & the second most fortified seeing as it is a mere shuttle ride to the homeworld"


Peraxis was now in the medical bay along with several other Korr soldiers, the doctors seemed confused by what to do

"Look here, this organ is a second heart, if they were placve any form of wepaon inside us it would be here behind the ribcage...and there you go...you have it...looks very strange, "Peraxis stated as he guided the Bekhaeran surgeons through his own operation removing a device it seemed was the cause of the plague

"This is incredible, your anatomy is astonishing" one surgeon spoke as they studied Peraxis & other Korr

"why thank you...you wouldnt mind closing me up and giving me a clean bill of health would you...its a bit chilly with my insides on display..& im sure that emperor Treys will allow you to exmaine the soon to be deceased Korr on the planet surface... it is a great shame that so many brothers must die for a foolish cause and in such a manner but this is what the heirarchs gets for playing god"

Anaconda stopped for a moment as details were sent to her earpiece, she smiled and nodded before saying "Excellant Field Marshall! Continue the advance!" She then turned to her Comrades and said

"Good news from the Jomstar System! Field Marshall Jacobi's 2nd Army has secured the 4th Moon and resistance has collapsed on the 5th Moon. He has taken over 400,000 prisoners and killed over 100,000. It seems that our troops will soon have that theatre under control."

"Also, regarding the virus, maybe it would be possible to develop a vaccine to this rather disease rather than kill the thousands of prisoners that we have taken. You are welcome to use our prison fleet until such a cure can be developed. Now we must also discuss how to evict the last few Korr remnants from this system, although they have suffered heavily, the ASS intelligence shows there are still over 100,000 troops dug in and ready to defend their homeland"

Jomstar Orbit...
Kyes Forworn, Captain of the Xiscapian cruiser Fear, sat back in his captains's chair. The campain with the Alversians had been going well, only twenty men and women and a few fighters and Mechs lost. This had been largely because the Alversians would attack head-on the fortresses while the Xiscapians would attack the rear. This strategy worked very well, and they had already captured 3 forts in the time they had been here. The warships didn't have much to do, and there was talk of pulling them out to help defend Xiscapia. Capital ships are badly needed for the Xiscapians. The Fear[I]'s position was away from the rest of the fleet, which were grouped around the latest moon they were attacking. Suddenly, from the dark side of the moon, a Korr Destroyer appeared, flanked by about 25 fighters. It had intended to escape, but the Cruiser Fear stood in it's way. Destroyers are like Battleships, specificaly made to destroy capital ships. Cruisers are really meant to combat fighters, frigates, gunboats, and other Cruisers. The Korr destroyer has twice the power and three times the shield and hull armor as the Cruiser. "Put 75% power to the shields, the rest to the anti-ship guns. Bring us about broadside. Prepare for evasive action." "Incoming!" screamed one of the scanner techs on the bridge and the Cruiser shuttered as the Destroyers heavy guns opened up on them. The shields repelled most of the damage, but they could not take too many more bombardments like that. "What's our status?" "Sir, shields are holding at 54%, hull integrity remains at 100%." "Divert all power except life support to the shields. Get our fighters out there. We're going to have to fight this alone. By the time our allies get here the battle will have already been won or lost. Execute manuver Grensholt Fire." Grensholt Fire is a textbook move, simple to execute. It involves one or more boarding ships escorted by fighters and/or gunboats to the opposing ship. The boarding ships attatch to the enemy ship and a bomb is planted, preferably near the engines or main power core. The explosive goes off, weakening the enemy ship. Then the commander can either decide to board or fire on the ship or even retreat. One Virus ship, the one given to the Xiscapians by the Infected, zoomed out of the docking bay, followed by 7 Gunboats and 10 fighters. They were opposed by the 25 Korr fighters. The Cruisers guns opened fire into the fighters, trying to clear a path. 6 fighters were shot down, leaving 19 fighters still in space. The Xiscapian and Korr fighters clashed, lasers and plazma and missiles flying though space. The Virus sped forward, leaving the battle behind. It came upon the Destroyer so fast that the ships guns had almost no time to fire, and missed anyway. The Virus, unmanned with only the bomb on it, slammed into the side of the Destroyer, the shields not affecting it at all. From afar it was controlled by a Breeder ship on the other side of the Cruiser, away from the battle. The bomb was desposeted and the Virus hovered beneath the Destroyer, then flew away. The bomb detonated, destroying a good part of the hull, several docking bays, a few gun power cores, and a officers quarters. The Destroyer began leaking atomsphere and several hatches were closed to prevent the deadly vacuum from reaching further into the ship. The Cruiser took the oppertunity and fired it's guns into the wounded section of the Destroyer. The Destroyer slowly began ripping itself apart, and escape pods began jettesing out into space. Then the Destroyer exploded, flames having reached the main reactor core. The Korr escape pods and fighters were picked up by tractor beam and held prisonar until they could be transferred to an Alversian ship.

Jacobi recieved the message just as the Korr troops from the island fortress finally surrendared. He'd been expecting more from the mighty Korr Army and had seen nothing to make him tremble. He relayed the message back to the Xiscapians as he signalled his troops to continue the advance.

Your skill in battling the Destroyer was evident and we applaud you for your achievements. The prisoners can be sent to Prison ship APS P12. There they will join the rest of the Korr. You may keep the fighters and pods. We have no use for them. We will update you as soon as the moon has been secured

To our knowledge, no Xiscapian has ever been any further then the outer reachs of the Sky Kings Starbase, a few systems away. We know of many races of people and systems and galaxies, but we do not interfere. We would have a hard time fitting in with galactic trade, war, goverments and whatnot. We shall stay to defend our home barring the most dire of circumstances. Bekhaera, Alversia, and even the Infected to some extent have done much in the name of defending our homeland, and these people shall be remembered forever in Xiscapian history, lore, and legend.

The Korr troops rose, screaming from the trenches only for most of them to be sent tumbling back in again. Those who survived this initial volley continued the charge but were devastated by heavy weapons fire and fighters diving in to attack. In the distance was an ancient Fort carved out of the rock, the smoke billowed from it's destroyed turrets and Korr dead lay all around it. Jacobi stared at the main attack and nodded his head. As he did so, several tanks appeared behind the attacking Korr and began to fire as well. Surrounded, the surviving Korr threw down their weapons and surrendared.

"This is too easy" he smirked to himself "For all the boasting it has done, I have inflicted over 1 million casualties and have yet to be slowed down. Even this attack was pathetic and will do nothing to change my attitude." He turned to the soldiers at the Command Post "signal the Xiscapians, tell them that if they want to garrison this moon, they are welcome to do so. In the meantime I have a more pressing issue to attend to"

He jumped into his buggy and began to follow the columns of troops who were marching towards the Fort and past the columns of prisoners who walked the other way, hands on their heads.

Sigel listened at his reciever. "No, we don't want the moon. Yes. Yes, all our capital ships are pulling out excep the Cruiser Fear and the Battleship Dark Star. No, we do not need an escort. Thank you." He hung up and turned to the other troops inside the CP. "Load up boys. We're going home."

Jacobi wasn't concerned by the Xiscapian withdrawal. They had manpower shortages and he was certain that the campaign would not last much longer. Alreadu his troops had reached the Fort and were proceeding to blow it to pieces. The Korr weren't offering much in terms of resistance and the outer defenses had already been taken. Above the fortress, he coudl see the swirling fighters as the Korr and Alversian Naval Air Force engaged in battle. It was no contest and the numbers of Korr fighters falling from the sky seemed to indicate that. He smiled as another volley of artillery pounded the Fort. It wouldn't be long now before the moon was captured and he could move on.

OOC: Test them mostly, see what they are capable off. . After the tests, their handed out as presents to less developed planets in the Alversian system or given to commando teams.

IC: The Alversian plan for attack in the Xiscapian system would be to try and lure their grand fleet out again. In a decisive battle, the Alversians would still hold the advantage and they wanted an engagement before it was too late.

Apart from a couple of test subjects. Almost all captured vehicles were dispatched to the Xiscapian Army for refit and reissueing into Xiscapian Units. Jacobi was glad someone needed them, he would have just used most of them as target practise.

Many would die. You would have to be very good to destroy the fleet. And there is always the matter of planet-based AS guns. However, if we can land an assualt force to the Korr capital and kill one of the Supreme commanders, it will weaken them greatly. The other commands the Grand Fleet. If we do this, we will break the backbone of the Korr war machine and end this horrible war once and for all!"

I can assue you the Alversian Fleet is well up to the task of destroying the Korr fleet should it engage, however we need to be away from those AS guns. They tip the balance decidedly in their favour and therefore rule out an engagement. Is there something that would draw them away from the planet's surface? A vital outpost perhaps?

Also, research with the Korr prisoners suggests that morale in the Army is falling. Would it be possible for the Army to launch a mutiny against the Supreme Commanders? The outposts are starting to surrendar quickly

Nothing we know of would draw the fleet away from their planet. The only time you saw it out was during the battle for Bekhaera. Leaving the planet would leave the planet undefended. As for mutiny, it is not possible. See, from birth, all Korr are trained and brainwashed to do whatever the Supreme Commanders tell them. Sure, there are a few dissenders, but not enough to make a diffrence. The Korr can hold there defense line literally forever. The best thing we can come up with is this: Present a target somewhere in your system. A large colony, perhaps, undefended and near the Korr homeworld. The Korr will dispatch half there fleet, if the colony is big enough. Once away, you can engage them. That would make the final assualt somewhat easier. Be warned though: The Korr fleet will jump directly to the colony, so the battle would be either very near or in orbit around the colony. If you are prepared to lose many lives, this will work. A intercepted transmission, perhaps. It should work. But we cannot draw the whole fleet out. Half is as much as they will ever send. We will hold our forces in reserve for the final push into the Korr homeworld. However, we can send you this aid if you do the colony plan:

We can present target on our third moon, It has a population of 230 million and is rich in resources. It is also protected by cloaked minefields and hidden AS guns which are undetectable from space. As it is so close to our homeworld then the Grand Fleet will intercept. They will be destroyed.

We will strike them there, then move on the there homeworld. We shall destroy their capital in a blaze of glory, with weapons they themselves have handed to us! Nothing can stop us! We shall prevail!" There was a roar of cheering and the ships lifted off, on there way to destoy Korrilias enemies...

OOC: I think that most of the fleet shall be destroyed at the colony, but some manage to jump near your homeplanet, and their is a battle above it. Also, there should be some facilitys on some moons around the colony so there will be a ground battle.

My homeplanet is defended by the Nano-Dreadnought. It is more than capable of fighting off any invasion force.
In regards to fleet numbers, they have to come into the system by one of two ways, the others lead to asteroid fields. Both of the viable options are mined extensively and the Korr will suffer very heavily when they enter the system. The mines are so well placed that the Korr ships will have only 0.005 seconds to decide wheiter to evade or not and that is not enough time.
Our homeworld can dispatch over 650,000 fighters and the Grand Fleet carries 250,000 fighters overall. We also have over 10,000 AS RF AS Guns on the surface.

We plan to let them fight through the minefield and attempt to blackade the moon.
Once this has been done then we will fire with the AS guns and fighters. The Fleet will attack from behind to ensure no retreat. The battle will be hard but experience, training and skill will carry the day.

A significant portion of the Alversian Army is based on the planet along with many reserves. Our strength is:

Grand Admiral Therolin stood on the bridge of the Light of Joy and watched the Alversian Fleet spread before him. He smiled, the Korr wouldn't know what had hit them. All they needed was the arrival of their guests.

"Officer of the Watch!" an Ensign cried "Enemy fleet approaching!" Therolin turned "BATTLESTATIONS!" he shouted, "PREPARE FOR ACTION!" The Alversian Fleet waited behind the Asteroids and Mines, safely hidden from scanners and eyes alike. This was going to be good...

Space warped itself and the Korr fleet blasted into space. Only a very small part, though. A few dozen troopships, filled with Bekhaeran, Alversian, and Xiscapian prisonars, as well as any Korr soldiers who were too injured to go on or had volunteered to give their lives. Indeed, unbeknownst to the Alversians, they had a spy in their ranks. The Korr knew about the mines, the atstroids, the massive fleet, the plan. The troopships flew right into the minefields, obleterating their cargo and destroying several lines of mines. Now the rest of the fleet blasted into existance. 10 Battleships, 20 Cruisers, and 38 Frigates ran right into the rest of the mines or were destroyed by astroids. However, most of the fleet simply stayed in the cleared-out space and blasted mines and astroids with their guns. The mine and astroid fields had served their purpose, but had not destroyed nearly enough. They had made barely a dent.
On board the Pride of the Empire...
"Goddamn it! Who? WHO!? Someone gave away everything! EVERYTHING!" Krystal, on board the battleship, looked ready to explode in fury. Her dead allies, the use of their POWs as decoys, now the betrayl... It was too much. "All ships! Mechs! Fighters! Everyone! We've been given away! For Xiscapia! For the Emperor! And for the people! ATTACK!" With that all 6 battleships, 8 Cruisers, 4 Destroyers, 80 gunboats, 2,500 fighters, and 74 Mechs attacked with vengence. The Xiscapian fleet, though tiny and insignificant against the massive size of the Korr fleet, had one thing they lacked:
THE THIRST FOR REVENGE!

Therolin shook his head sadly. The loss of the POWs was terrible and they would be repaid tenfold here. He looked around and nodded. As he did so, 10,000 AS Guns opened fire on the Korr fleet. Able to fire 30 rounds a miniute and being able to penetrate shield and armour, they would have to do the bulk of the mine's work. The space around the colony was filled with flak from the guns, several ships were hit repeatedly and destroyed, the flak was unpierceable. It would take far more ships than the Korr had with them to fight past the flak.

The Fleet remained hidden, cautious. If the Korr were to remove it, then they would have to make the first move not the Alversians. Despite the setback, there was still a chance at victory.

Meanwhile, on Jomstar's 6th Moon, the 200,000 Korr POW's trudged towards the dropships, the ruined defenses in the background. Jacobi was starting to enjoy being a Field Marshall. Jomstar would be in Alversian hands in no time.

"Sir, we are taking heavy fire from AS guns on the moons surface. Also, a small Xiscapian fleet has attacked us. Orders?" On board the Korr Superbattleship Indestructable the Captain mused for a moment. He was actually the Adrimal of the whole fleet. AS fire had slammed itself rependedly against it's shields and several Mechs and some fighters had attacked it, but shields were holding up. "Withdraw the fleet." the Adrimal finally growled, staring out into the battle. "We will have to find a diffrent route in. There's no sense in staying here. Give the command. We're pulling out."
Aboard the Pride of the Emperor...
"Adrimal, the Korr fleet is attempting to withdraw! If we don't stop them in time, they'll jump and this will all be for nothing!" This was shouted by Krystals XO, who was covered in grime and burns from merely being on the bridge. Good thing the Xiscapians are a tough people. "Were's the goddamn Alversian fleet?!!? We're on our own out here, aside from the AS guns, and unless they get here whithin the next five minutes, the Korr will jump!"

Therolin smiled and turned to his First Officer, "give the order" he said, "Sir! yes Sir!" the First Officer beamed, he ran to the Signalman and relayed the order. "Surprise" Therolin said to himself

Suddenly, hundreds of thousands of Alversian Fighters and Bombers appeared behind the Korr fleet as it attempted to flee, closely followed by the Alversian Fleet. The cloud of fighters peeled off and began to attack the Korr ships, first were XX-24's carrying EMP Bombs to disable any shields. They were followed by XB-33's and ASM carrying XX-24's. Several big warships were destroyed by this method as well as by the concentrated fire of thousands of Ion Cannons.

The Korr were sandwiched between the Alversians and the Surface Guns, there was no escape as the two fleets closed for action...

One million Korr fighters came out to meet the Alversians, as well as the entire fleet. These fighters were not the old, severly outclassed Korr fighters. These were new, advanced fighters, not unlike the XX-24. As far as the XX-24 fighter pilots were concerned, the fighter-on-fighter dogfights would be easy. This was not the case. A few hundred thousand Alversian fighters VS. equally good Korr fighters and pilots. The Korr used the same stratagy the Alversians were using, and destroyed many Frigates and Cruisers. This space battle was the space equivilent of hand-to-hand combat. Soon many ships on all sides were reduced to floating husks, and some were being boarded. The massive Korr fleet was slowly being reduced, but most of the Xiscapian Capital ships and many of the Alversian Capital ships were destroyed. In the end there were two things that turned the battle in the Xiscapian/Alversian favor.
1) The Xiscapian Mechs were able to slip though Korr shields and do a large amount of damage, taking out engines, life support, shields, and bridges at their leasure.
2) The Alversian fighter pilots were amazing. Outnumbered and outgunned, the pilots fought tirelessly against the Korr. The fighter pilots who served in the war, but especially that battle, became ledgends on all sides.
Finally the Korr fleet was decimated. None, though, surrendered, preffering to fight to the death. The Korr casualty rate was 100%. Not a single Korr survived.

Your fleet is decimated and we are counted Prisoners by the million. Do not fear that we will carry out the same despicable with our POWs as you have with yours, although faurther harm may stretch our mercy too far. The war has swung in our favour and we suggest you attempt to make peace while you still can.

Alversian President

OOC: That was only half of their fleet. The rest is on the homeworld.
IC: The Xiscapian Battleship Pride of the Empire, the Cruisers Wrath and Fear, and 7 gunboats, 253 fighters, 20 Light Assualt Mechs, 8 Heavy Assualt Mechs, 2 SuperMechs and 1 Command Mech all limped into the nearby colonys spaceport. They had all sustained heavy damage. The Pride of the Empire had lost all of it's shields, and two of it's four engines were offlline. The Cruiser Wrath was holding together though spit and prayer, it's bridge was destroyed, and it was being towed in by Fear because all of it's engines had been destroyed. Fear itself had failing life support systems, was leaking autmosphere, and all of it's guns were offline, trying to divert power to life support. The gunboats had taken a hard hit, losing almost every gunboat in the battle. Those that were still flying were scortched by plasma fire. The same for the fighters. The Mechs did excellent, though they lost Mechs, they had the least losses and were the least damaged. The Command Mech had everything offline except for life support, and had to be carried in by the other Mechs. Nevertheless, every Light Assualt Mech had at least destroyed some fighters, at some of the Light and Heavy reported destroying or helping destroy capital ships. The SuperMechs and the Command Mech had killed two Capital ships apiece. Now they set down in the hanger. All the crew was immediatly evacuated, should any of the damaged ships explode, but none did, and the Xiscapians took some much needed and well deserved rest, except for Admiral Krystel and the Captains of the Fear and the Wrath. They were typing up reports of the battle to be sent back to the Xiscapian Navy Center (XNC). The mechanics were helping Alversian mechanics work on the ships, and some Xiscapian wounded were being helped in a nearby Alversian hospital. Now the only thing left of the war was the final push onto the Korr homeworld.

Sendovan City, Alversian 3rd Moon

Doctors rushed to the hospital to help with wounded. Mechanics were swarming over the Xiscapian Fleet to help with the repairs.
The Alversian people were extremely hospitable to the visitors and offered them free food and beds in the hotels and they were all well looked after by the native Alversians. Alversia didn't forget those who fought beside her. In the streets, the Xiscapian Sailors were swamped by Alversian Children who wanted autographs and photographs taken with the soldiers. Endless people came to shake their hands and to hug them or something similiar. The Message was clear, if you fought for freedom, to the Alversians you were a hero.

Grand Admiral Therolin led the Alversian Home Fleet back to it's base outside Illesia and was greeted by a heroes welcome. Crowds of cheering people swamped every viewpoint to catch a glimpse of the Grand Fleet returning. He was exhausted but would be expected to make a report personally to the President and Senate and tell them of the battle. Then he was looking forward to some peace and quiet. The Fleet had proved it's worth.

Jomstar 6th Moon

The trench gained a direct hit and it sent several Alversians high into the air, the sky was red from the fumes and smoke of battle, as the Alversians rushed up and down the rows of trenches and the big guns pumped round after round into the Fort.

The Fort was burning like nothing and the XB-33's and XX-24's as well as the Army RT-100's were adding to the chaos with rocket and phaser fire. Jacobi glanced up from the trench and was narrowly missed by a string of blaster fire which came from the Fort's ruined walls.

"Hmmm" He said and turned to the map. The Korr here were resisting far more fiercely than he had expected and his advance had stalled at it's walls. He knew the Fort would soon fall, it couldn't hold out forever. But this would give the Korr time to move their troops to positions behind the lines and this he couldn't allow. He always favoured the suicidal option and right now was no different. "Send in the 6th and 10th Dropships" He ordered "But Sir!" The Lieutenant protested, "They'll be slaughtered, the entire Fort will be firing at them" Jacobi grinned "Exactly! Order the Strike!"

A rocket slammed into one of the fort's outer walls and it crumbled, killing several Korr soldiers and wounding a few others. Medics went out, under fire, to move to wounded troops into the safety of the fort. One of the few rules of war the Korr observe is that they don't shoot medics. Nevertheless, two medics fell in the cross-fire and had to be dragged in along with the soldiers. Suddenly two dropships rocketed out of the sky. AS fire took out one in a flaming fireball, but the other landed easily and Alversian troops and tanks began pouring out. Inside the fort fire was being poured into the dropship, which exploded, but it didn't matter because everyone was already out and fighting. "Go!" roared a Korr officer, "Full offensive assualt!" Every Korr in the fort, every tank, hovercraft, mech, and fighter turned and charged the Alversian lines. (Think Pickkets charge) Fire decimated the Korr ranks but a few broke though and hand-to-hand combat erupted up and down the lines. The Korr, being larger and stronger then Alversians, generally won in close combat, but were quickly struck down by fire. Soon al the Korr were dead or had surrendered. Another victory for Alversia.

6th Moon, Jomstar

The Fort was taken and that was all that mattered. The Alversian troops had noticed several dead Medics in the Fort, for which they felt regret. Nevertheless, the 6th Moon was taken and the 7th wouldn't hold long. The campaign would be over far quicker than he imagined.

THE VOICE: I excuse my long silence from the alliance but now i have returned. the remaining ships in my fleet will begin to organize for a offensive, and as for prisoners, I will let you keep 3 million of them, the rest go to me.

The Alversian Army and Navy was ready. The biggest concentration of Alversian ships since the 1st Danaversian War was now assembled. The fleet began to move away from Alversia and head to the Xiscapian system.

"So, the terms are agreed yes?" Jacobi asked the Korr C-in-C of the Outposts. He nodded sadly, Jacobi clapped his hands togather "Excellent! From this second on, all Korr troops under your command will lay down their weapons. The Campaign is over, these fine gentlemen will lead you to your prisonship" Jacobi smiled. an extra 3,000,000 prisoners without even firing a shot! It was a good day. Jomstar was Alversia's at last

And what of the Infected? What do they send to help us in our final fight?

Friends and family had waved tearful goodbyes as the ships departed. The remanents of the colony battle had been repaired, refuled, and refitted at the Alversian colony. Now they joined their brethren in the sky. The Xiscapian fleet was now in orbit above Xiscapia. They would link up with the Alversian fleet above Sheelspa, to await the Infected fleet, if indeed any was being sent at all. Then, once combined, the assembled fleet would move to the Korr homeworld to start the final battle. The space battle had been named "Operation Breakthough" by Xiscapian commanders, and the ground battle was named "Operation Final Assualt."

The Alversian Fleet was assembled near Alversia and would soon join their Xiscapian Allies in the final glorious battle to defeat the Korr and end this brutal war.
The fleet was ready, the troops were mobilised. Alversia only awaited the word. As the fleet left Alversian Orbit the Sparrowhawk fired a mighty salvo to salute their deployment. Hopefully it would fire a salvo to celebrate their return

Jacobi's army was assembled, all armies were assembled. They would all take place in the attack. It would be a day of triumph or disaster for the Alversian Army...

Krystal turned to her XO. "Radio the Alversians. We haven't heard from The Infected. It's time to start the attack. Form the fleets up and jump for Korrilia." "Yes Captain!" Over the Battleship Pride of the Empire's intercom blared "Entering Hyperspace! All crewmen to their stations! Jump in two minutes! All crew to their stations!" The Xiscapian fleet turned as one and prepared to jump into the final battle.

The Alversian Grand Fleet stood ready, newly promoted Grand Admiral Sean Killock from his Strato-Dreadnought APS Light of Hope gave the signal to jump. the Alversian Warships and transports vanished from sight, they would meet with the Xiscapian fleet and take Korrilia, ready or not.

THE VOICE: sorry for our lateness

20 breeders and 3 hive ships with viruses jumped towards the xscipia fleet they arrived shortly.

The Xiscapian, Alversian, and Infected fleets formed up. The attack on Korrilia would be brutal and final. Guns warmed up, shields flared to life, engines rumbled as they propelled their ships forward. The Xiscapian fleet was the spearhead of the fleet, like a gigantic arrow aimed at a galactic target. The Korr fleet stayed in orbit around their planet and let the AS fire into the fleet, but the Allies were ready. Rolling to avoid the fire, they forced the Korr fleet to engage with a sudden change in direction. The Korr fleet moved out to meet them and the battle was on.

Space, Korrilia

The Alversian Flagship moved elegantly through the mass of Allied and Korr vessels as it tried to seek out a target that was not engaged and was therefore a threat. All around were millions of fighters, spinning and firing at each other with small balls of fire indicating where one had just exploded. The Light of Hope found an enemy ship and prepared to come alongside.

Korrilia, Surface

The AS Gunner's confidence was severely shaken as, over the horizon, thousands of Alversian Fighters arrived and began to strafe the positions. Adding to the chaos were the Ion Guns of the Alversian fleet which impacted with all too precise accuracy. The fire coming up at the fleet began to dwindle.

Assualt Fleet, Korrilia Orbit

The Alversian Droptroops and Guards were ready to go, the green light was given and 20,000 Dropships carrying 10 men each were launched from the fleet for the planet's surface. The battle had begun and the advanced Guard would secure an area for the Alversian Army following.

"Fire!" Energy beams and plasma blew holes in the Korr and Xiscpian ships, the Korr Cruiser Bloodshed and the Xiscapian Destroyer Oath. The Oath's heavy guns proved too strong for the Bloodshed's shields and they failed. Armor plating began ripping off from the Cruiser, atmosphere leaked, and escape pods blew out from the ship. The dying Cruser tumbled though space, caught in Korrilias gravity well. It began falling though the atmosphere, burning up on contact. Fighters raced though space, firing at each other. Capital ships moved though space, firing at each other. The Captain of the Oath saw two Korr frigates gang up on an Alversian Dreadnought, only to be blasted away seconds later by an Xiscapian Command Mech. It was choas up there, and only though much skill and no small amount of luck could one survive...
Korrilia surface...
Dropships, troopships, Mechs, and fighters decended upon the surface. Heavy AS gun fire prevented them from landing in the Capital, forcing them to land about a mile away in the Korr countryside. Korr Mechs, fighters, troops, tanks, and hovercrafts were waiting for them. Korr soldiers and Mechs were no match for the swifter, more powerful Xiscapians. Korr fighters and tanks fell in droves from the expert piloting from the Alversians. The Korr army was beaten back to the Capital, where they established a defense, stopping the Xiscapian/Alversain force dead in it's tracks. The Infected had yet to land any troops, busy in orbit. And so the Allied attack force settled in for a long seige on the Korr Capital...
Korrilia orbit again...
7 Korr superbattleships, 4 superdestroyers, and a small fleet of capital ships, fighters, and Mechs attacked the Allied flank. Alversian, Xiscapian, and Infected ships alike fell before their fury. Before retreating back away from the ships, the Xiscapian battleship Absolute Zero transmitted the following message:
"We need superbattleships, superdestroyers, Command Mechs, Hive ships, Strato Dreadnoughts, the heaviest guns you can put out here! We've got 7 Korr superbattleships, 4 superdestroyers, and a small accompineing fleet in Sector 09100. We're being overwhelmed here! Request immediate assisstance from the largest ships avalible!" The Xiscapian fleet only has 3 superbattleships and one superdestroyer, but it put them into action, along with 4 Command Mechs, to combat the Korr Superfleet. The Superfleet, aside from the obvious, is named because it contains the best pilots and ships the Korr can make. The Xiscapians were going to need help fighting this massivly powerful fleet.

Siege, Korr Homeworld

The Front facing the 2nd Army crumbled as the Tanks and troops tore into the suburbs. Alversian casualties were heavy in the face of stiff resistance but still the 2nd Army, under the command of Field Marshall Jacobi and containing the 1st Guards Corps, ground forward through the resistance.

Korrilia Orbit

"2nd and 5th Super-Dreadnought and Strato-Dreadnought squadrons, about face with me and prepare to engage!" Killock ordered from his bridge. A dozen of the finest ships Alversia had ever built would face up against the best of the Korr. "PREPARE FOR ATTACK!!!" he screamed.

Krystal watched as a superdestroyer and a superbattleship both fired at once onto a fleeing Xiscapian Cruiser. The Cruiser broke in half, killing most on board, twisting itself into pieces. The Xiscapian superbattleships, the superdestroyer, and the Command Mechs arrived and began firing on the Korr ships, now aided by the Alversian Dreadnought ships. Still, they were too powerful. Krystal had Light Assualt Mechs fly in and damage the superships, now a superbattleship had been destroyed, another crippled, it's shields gone, it's engines malfunctioning and it's life support damaged. Xiscapian SBAU (Ship Boarding Attack Units) dropships were inbound n it. It would soon be theirs.

Killock watched one of the Korr Superbattleships hover right in front of him, he turned to an Ensign behind him, "Full Ion Barrage, Please" The Ensign pressed a button and watched as the five Ion blasts flew straight at the enemy ship. It exploded internally and then externally, thefe being nothing left.
Another one attempted to come alongside and was greeted by the broadside guns firing, DP Shells. Fire burst out of every section.

The Korr superfleet had been decimated all the superfleet had been destroyed or boarded and taken over. With the quick destruction of the superfleet the Korr homefleet seemed to lose the will to fight. They either surrendered or tryed to escape, but all ships that were trying to escape were blown out of the sky. The Korr space Supreme Commander was killed when his superbattleship was destroyed by the combined firepower of a Xiscapian superbattleship, two Xiscapian Command Mechs, and an Alversian Strato Dreadnought. The Allied fleet now had control of space, with only the occasional Korr fighter, gunboat, and AS gun to pester them. The Allies rejoiced in their victory but the war was not yet over. The Capital still had to be taken...
Suberbs of Korr capital...
The Xiscapian/Alversian force had been stopped in the suberbs by a strong defense: Force Fields. They were quite strong, and had to be pounded contantly in order to get them to drop. Along the top of the force fields Korr troops had erected automated machine guns, missile launchers, and Korr troops stayed at the tops of these until they were killed or the field fell. Upon entering the suberbs the Allies had learned one thing: There was no such thing as a Korr civilian. All Korr, military, women (which were indistiquisable from the men in nearly every way) and children attacked the Allied troops, sometimes with only their fists. Along the way they met their special strike force, which aided them in getting though the suberbs. Finally they made it to the actual city, where Korr tanks roamed the streets, turrets swiveled, and Korr troops were determined in a last ditch fight to prevent the Allies from reaching the capital. Right in the heart of the city was the Castle, where the Korr Ground Supreme Commander was. Slowly, inch by inch, yard by yard, the Allies gained ground towards the Castle. Heavy air strikes by Xiscapian and Alversian fighters and shellings by Xiscapian arrtiliry destroyed much of the city before the Allied ground forces got there. In the end about a third of the city was completly leveled, and another eigth of it was heavily damaged. The Castle was protected by thick walls, layers of force fields, heavy guns which belonged on a Korr gunboat but were reinstaled into the Castle's walls. The Allied ground forces took cover as fighter dropped in air strike after air strike on the Castle, but to no avail. Finally a small squad of Light Assualt Mechs slipped though the force fields and deactivated them, and the Allied forces swarmed the Castle. Though the halls and rooms there was much hand-to-hand combat, and finally the Allies broke though to the confrence room, where the Supreme Commander was. He took cover behind an upturned table and blasted anyone who came close, but the Xiscapian Emperor himself (though no one knew it at the time) lauched himself over the table and drove his katana sword though the Supreme Commander's heart. A shot rang out which broke the Foxfire's (the Emperor) katana in half. An Alversian trooper had tried to kill him, but was shot in the head by the Alversian commander leading the assualt force. They had found their spy, they're traitor. And so the war quickly ended with the near annnihilation of the Korr capital, the destruction of most of the Korr fleet and army, and the deaths of both Korr Supreme Commanders. Martial Law was put into place on Korrilia to keep it's inhabitants in check. In a large post-battle party it was revealed that Kyroto was actually the Xiscapian Emperor, which surprised everyone, but that just made the Xiscapian people love hime even more, though critics ask what might have happened if Foxfire had died. Anyway, on Xiscapia Commanders were going over battle details and such, and diplomatic Xiscapian and Alversian partys were going over a Alliance treaty. All was well. The war was over. Finally.

Suburbs, Korr Capital

For some 30,000 Alversians, celebration was not an option. They were placed at every street corner,along with tanks and HMG's to keep order. The rest of the Alversian Armed Forces celebrated and drank heavily to commenorate the great victory they had won. There was sombre moment as the Alversians remembered those who couldn't stand beside them today, but also rejoiced at those who could. Field Marshall Herman Jacobi was promoted to Supreme General along with Sean Killock who became the new Grand Admiral. The Alversians also began to prepare the release of the Korr troops still in their custody and the surviving members of the Government were arrested and led away. The Alversians were as surprised as everyone else at the revelation of the Xiscapian Emperor at the front lines and thought him rather foolish. Nevertheless, they offered to award him the Banner Of Freedom. Alversia's highest honour for his tireless work during the Conflict.

Meanwhile a message was broadcast:

To: Xiscapian Emperor Foxfire

We are delighted to hear of your victory and the final surrendar of the Korr Army. We would like to congradulate you for you and your people for their momumental effort in defeating this menace. We would like to build on the good relationships created by this conflict between our two nation and open up talks for an Alliance. The Meeting can take place in Illesia or your own Capital. I leave the choice to you.

The Xiscapians partyed well into the night on the ship Pride of the Empire, aside from some 15,000 reinforcement troops stationed in and around the Korr capital. The Emperor was unmasked by Adrimal Krystal, who was so surprised she she called security. After they all calmed down Foxfire quietly explained that he, though shouldn't have gone into battle, was tired of sitting around. A foolish, greedy, desire for action, he said, but it had worked. Back on Xiscapia this day was delcared Soldiers day, a day when all would remember those who died to preserve freedom.
The Xiscapian Emperor sent the following message to Thomas Valor:
Greetings. I would like to join the Xiscapians with the Alversians in an everlasting Alliance, as you are a fine people who helped us in our great time of need. Your great deeds shall never be forgotten. I would love to travel to Alversia to see it's Capital and talk about the Alliance there. I am greatly saddened by the loss of our Allie, Bekheaera. As for the Banner, I would like to polietly refuse. I merely coordnated the battle tactics, despite my foolish injection into battle. In my opinion, the Banner should rather be offered to my Commanders. As for your Commanders we too have a honor of distinction: A beautifuly forged Katana sword. Though all Xiscapian military members have one, we would like to offer it to your Commanders and any troops whom they think should recieve it. It is called The Sword of Honor. If this is all right with you, I will make as many as you require for your honorable men and women, and will depart to Illesia in two weeks time. Thank you again for all your support on behalf of the Xiscapian people. We are enternally in your debt. Anything you ask for is yours.

We will happily and gladly award Admiral Krystal the Banner of Freedom 1st Class for her valuable contribution to the war effort. If there are any other commanders who you feel deserve this award, please don't hesitiate to ask. Our own commanders would welcome the Katana swords as a great honor for themselves and the Soldiers who served under them. We will welcome you with open arms in Illesia in two weeks time and look forward to your arrival. Our people have suffered heavily in this war and all of them would do it again for the defense of Xiscapia, Alversia stands beside those who are her allies. She asks for nothing in return.

Both on the Planet's surface and in the fleet, Xiscapian and Alversian Soldiers, Sailors and Airman laughed and joked long into the night, building on the trust and unity they had developed during the campaign. Some of the Alversian Commanders were more sombre, with great victory came great cost and it would up to them to tell the relatives of the deceased about their loss. Nevertheless, Alversian and Xiscapian were closer than they had ever been before.

The day of the victory was named as a holiday and added to the Alversian Calendars as soon as possible. In Illesia, a giant statue of an Alversian Marine and Xiscapian Soldier, Katana drawn, standing side by side, was erected to commemorate the dead. A new medal was awarded, the Order of the Korr, to highlight extreme bravery under impossible circumstances of which Supreme General Jacobi was to recieve the first. A great day in Alversia's history.

Adrimal Krystal recieved The Banner of Freedom first class, along with Field Commander Jassonn Bane, who was one of the few Xiscapians to survive the battle of Tenfour, and Captain Kyes Forworn, for heroicly defeating a Korr Destroyer with his Cruiser,Fear , which was weaker and less powerful than the Korr vessal. Several other Commanders, Generals, and Admirals were awarded this honor, including Commander Robs, who had died defending Space Station Protector. Many Xiscapians were also awarded The Sword of Honor, the highest military award an Xiscapian could recieve by his or her goverment. The awards ceremony took place in a large square in Rio Villa. Shortly after that all Xiscapian bodies that could be retirved were burned, one by one, on a hillside overlooking Rio Villa, near a river. Xiscapians do not bury their dead. The ashs were sent to each family of the Xiscapian who had died in a beautiful urn, along with their katanas, if they could be retrived. If the body could not be retreved, as happened for many pilots and sailors, an urn and a newly forged katana sword was sent to the family, along with a uniform representing the military class and rank of the one who died (i.e., soldier, sailor, pilot, Special ops, etc.) All troops and ships were recalled to Xiscapia, except for the one's on or over Korrilia. Korr govenors had come forward to ask for peace, and the Xiscapians had granted them it, but their world was still heavily patrolled. All Korr POWs had been returned to them, thankfully the Infected had never gotten their hands on them. In Xiscapia, to call someone an Alversian is to say that they are trustworthy, loyal, and honorable. Two weeks later the Emperor's personal shuttle landed in Illesia, Alversia with an escort of Black Guards. 100 Light Assualt Mechs, 50 Heavy Assualt Mechs, 20 SuperMechs, and 5 Command Mechs landed behind it. "I know you asked for nothing in return." Foxfire said, "but I overheard that Alversia has no Mechs, and we are giving these to you, in hope you can add them to your military." Foxfire walked down the ramp and waited for the Alversian President.

The Xiscapians had been dealt a blow from which they would not recover for centurys. While losses had been relativily light in most battles, they had lost over a million good men and women in a single battle. See, Xiscapians reproduce very slowly, and their planet has a population total of about 8 Billion, and they have been around for longer than almost anyone else in the universe. The total Xiscapian dead in the war is unknown, but it would be a very high number. This, however, is small compared to the Korr. The Korr, unlike the Xiscapians, reproduce very quickly. Their planet is huge and has over a trillion Korr on it, but they were running out of room. That, among several other reasons, is the reason the war happened. The Korr needed more room, so they decided to destroy their peaceful neighbors and take the planet for themselves. Korr losses are thought to be in the billions, but no one has even the slightest idea of the real number, as the turmoil the Korr went though destroyed any records after the war. What happened to the Korr after the war was a depression. Economy crumbled, farms burned, rivers ran dry. It was a dark time for the Korr, full of civil war. The Xiscapians, still licking their wounds from the last war, didn't get involved. It lasted about five years, then slowly ran out. Today the Korr thrive, they have no war with the Xiscapians anylonger, and are a decidedly more peaceful species.
And so it, ends, this war. Ships blew up, people died, treatys were signed, shots were fired, Alliances were made. The Xiscapians and the Alversians remain strong allies to this day. Freedom reigns...

Following the Battle of Korrilia, Several Alversians including Jacobi and Killock were awarded the The Sword of Honor for their part in defeating the Korr threat. Several Commanders were also awarded the Banner of Xiscapia, a new medal created to honor those who fought in the war and after, for those who displayed extreme bravery in the face of total defeat. The Alversian dead who could be recovered were sent to Alversia where they were given a full military burial. The families were granted 'Korr-Security' securing the family's living for the rest of their days. Those who couldn't be recovered or where buried in the field by their comrades were remembered by a statue in Illesia City Centre where all the names of the dead were written. When the Korr asked for piece, the Alversians were happy to hand over all prisoners and to accept a trade agreement with the new Korr Government. Most troops were withdrawn and returned to home to a hero's welcome. To be Veteran of that war is to garuntee 1st Class treatment for the rest of your life. The Xiscapians are known throughout the Alversian system as honourable friends and always treated with the greatest respect in Alversia.

Emperor Foxfire came to Illesia and was greated by over 10 million spectators and a parade from the Democratic Guard. Thomas Valour was honoured to accept the Xiscapian Mechs and soon they equipped two entire Divisions. After much talk and laughter, the two side agreed to an everlasting alliance.

While Alversia could easily recover the losses, it was the fact that the troops had died so far from home led to some bitterness about the lack of prisoners returned from the Korr. A large garrison was kept on the planet to ensure peace was kept and ended up fighting in the Civil war to protect the newly elected Government. The Alversian Forces were led by Grand Marshall Jacobi and the Fleet by Sean Killock. After many more years of war, the Alversians decided it was time that the Federal Korr Army took over it's own running. the Korr were able to gain victory in the Civil war and has been run peacefully ever since. Many years later, as ex-president Thomas Valour lay dying in his home in the Alversian hillside, he remembered the War of the Korr and smiling said

"Through the Blood of Alversia, Victory was secured. Through the Death of Tyranny, an Alliance was secured, Through the Sacrafice of a million sons, Freedom was secured. Destiny is Fulfilled, always has been, always will be"
