1 December Year 54, 13:23
THE DISSOCIATED PRESS (Shostakovich) - The Anti-Dentite Watchmen of Linus and Lucy has announced the completion of the Long-term Organic Force Augmentation Plan (LOFAP). This plan outlines the future growth of the military forces of Linus and Lucy to a basic operational capacity.
The LOFAP calls for increases in Army authorized strength by 2-3 divisions per year for the next 25 years, contingent on future budget availability, to a total of 55 divisions (current Army authorized strength is one division, with four brigades out of the ten comprising the division currently raised). Air Force authorized strength will increase from its current five squadrons to a total of twelve air groups. The LOFAP also includes the founding of a Navy within the next decade, which will eventually consist of seven ocean fleets and their associated support vessels.
The LOFAP does not include plans for joint-force organization, or single-force organization above the division/air group level; such organization will be fluid and reflect changing operational and strategic needs.
