OOC: The Thread where everything-from ships to grain to Countries-is for sale!
I mean countries when I say it. Territory, whatever. If you don't like a little piece, sell it for some money so you can buy some weapons or oil.
By the way, this is open for everybody. Set up deals, sales, auctions, or what have you however you like to. If you've got deals already in process (like my deal with the Dominion detailed here on Post 1), go ahead and flesh 'em out here.
You can set up preliminary deals if you want to do them between 2 countries only in the big OOC thread, but please finalize the deals here for everyone's convenience.

Request of Purchase of the Dominion
The North American Republic would like to purchase an initial supply of 200 of the newly-developed GR-18 sniper rifles, with an option for another 1400 if the initial supply proves to be what the Republic is looking for in a next-generation sniper rifle to supplement the infantry re-armament of the new century.
We would like to request an approximated cost and supply time for both supplies.

like our NAR counterparts we too are looking for a next generation sniper rifle and the GA-18 looks like it may be just what we need; like our American Allies we would like to purchase 200 for inital trials with a further 1400 if these prove to live up to the highstandard which we require.

Hello and thank you for choosing Denel, the number one producer of Military Ordinance in the Dominion. Although initially, the GA-18 wasn't going to be an exported weapon, the Company decided to wave that off and greenlight the GA-18s export.
The Current price for the GA-18 is $11,000 per unit. Although due to the NAR's allied status with the Dominion we are willing to lower the price to $10,500 per unit. As of now, we are currently producing the Dominion's rifles and won't be finished until Sept, but we are willing to give you Limited Production Rights for the production of 200 GA-18s for the price of $2.1 Million. The same price, you would of paid if we had made them. How do you feel about this deal?
Sincerely
Denel Defense Industries.

We are interested somewhat in the Limited Production Rights, could that be detailed slightly to flesh out what's involved in the LPR for the GA-18?

This is basically the jist of it. You are allowed to produce 200 of the GA-18 locally, for the same price as it would be if you were to wait for us to send it to you. This works out for the both of us quite well.

No. You have made large tarrifs against us and our allies. Plus, it is only available for Entente Members.

We are interested in acquiring the AH-1 Attack Helicopter and the M16 A4 Assault Rilfe with its optional bayonet and grenade launcher.

Both are avaliable in large quanitites. How many would the Empire of Deurem be interested in purchasing of each?
Both are avaliable in large quanitites. How many would the Empire of Deurem be interested in purchasing of each?
We will need a thousand rifles and around 250 of your helicopters. How much will that cost?
Amazonian Beasts
30-04-2007, 01:02
For 1000 M16 A4s with launcher and bayonet the cost will come out to be $520 per unit-for a total package cost of $520,000
For the 250 AH-1s, a single helo costs $11 million, so 250 (with a $250 mil Bulk Purchase discount for purchasing more than 200 of any helo) will come out to be $2.5 billion.
The total charge, then, is $2,500,520,000.
To the NAR,
The Empire of Futuris would like to purchase two Iowa Class battleships and 10 Spruance class Destroyers.
We would also like to purchase 200 AGM-84 Harpoons and 600 AGM-86B Cruise Missiles.
And finally, we would like to purchase 400 AH-1 Attack Helicopters.

Confirmed with the Apache.
All costs are with an Entente Discount:
The Apache costs for 400 of the units will come out to be $7.6 billion.
The price for the ships combined (2 Iowas and 10 Spruances) will come to a total of $8.1 billion ($4 bil for the battleships, 3.1 bil for the destroyers).
The cost for 200 Harpoon ASMs/SSMs will come out to be $150 million, while the 600 AGM-86B cruise missiles, due to their being phased out of service, will come to be $610 million.
The final cost will come out to be $16.46 billion. This is costly, no doubt, but is still around the price of the two carriers sold to Animarnia and still a good deal for what will surely revamp both the army and navy of the Empire of Futuris.
Do keep in mind: the 2 Iowa-class will need somewhat of a refit to bring them into modern service, though both are already capable of carrying cruise missiles.
Addressed to the Empire of Deurem
We are pleased to be doing service, and look forward to beneficial future relations. Shipping operations will begin immediately to transport the goods to your nation.

And that's just the stuff that I sell. Updated my factbook with all my special stuff. So no, I'm not selling MOABs. Sorry.
Also #1: With Futuris buying the naval stuff, I'm not going to have ships avaliable for some time (I'm not giving up my Arleigh Burkes quite yet).
Also #2: I'm going to consolidate all national listings on Post 1 so that we don't have to sift through the chaff all the time.

Addressed to the WEF
The Federation recently put out an add to the international community about potential purchases regarding military wares. The North American Republic is the best-stocked military supplier-except in regards to naval ships, in which the Empire of Futuris recently purchased the remainder of our wares. We do recommend a look at our massive collection of ordinance, aircraft, armor, artillery and support, and infantry weapons. Such an arsenal has defined America as the premier global military power, and the potential offered by the surplus being sold to any nation is certainly a positive. Such reliable designs as the F-14 Tomcat, F/A-18C Hornet, and M2 Bradley IFV are products that could revolutionize any military.
Addressed to the Empire of Futuris
Order confirmed, we thank the Empire for its purchase and continued good ties. The destroyers can arrive via convoy in four months (as they are ready to go and stationed currently holding in Miami). The battleships will need a little bit of fine-tuning to get them able to cross the Atlantic before your own revamping of the vessels, so estimates are between 9 months to 11 months-though no longer than that.
Addressed to the Kingdom of Animarnia
We regret to inform the Kingdom that the two battleships and ten destroyers have already been confirmed to the Empire of Futuris. However, the Republic is aware of possible intentions within the Kingdom about interest in buying the new F-35A and F-23A next-generation aircraft. Seeing as both designs are hitting the production floor, we would allow the Kingdom to submit preliminary orders for the craft when they are produced in sufficient numbers to meet the need.

Very well; we conceed our defeat on the note of the naval ships to our Allie The Empire of Futaris in relation to the naval purchases. we are indeed interesting in purchasing the F-35B Lightning II for our Aircraft Carriers to supliment our Tejas; and the F-23A for stealth supiriority. we would require at least an initial order of 348 F-23A's, 60 F-35B's 140 F-35C's and 386 F-35A's we know this is a large order and we understand it may take several years for this order to be complete so we'd like to work out a payment scheme so as not to completely cripple our defence budget whereby we pay for each batch of 12 that arrive.
Also on an unrelated note we would be interested in a joint development project to produce a next generation Battleship sucessor to the Iowa-Class; though the NAR has gone the way of the carrier we still feel that the land bombardment ability of the battleship to be an important part of fleet operations.

At Entente prices, each AGM-86B cruise missile costs $1 million. The ten now will cost $10 million, while the four bi-annualy will cost $4 million at each installment.
Addressed to the Kingdom of Animarnia
The deal can be done, but it will take some time, naturally, to ship out that kind of quantity of units. The price is also fairly steep for the F-23A Black Widow II-a new fighter only slightly below the quality of the F-22A Raptor.
For each Black Widow II, the price is set at $102 million per unit (Reduced $8 million to Entente Prices). For each batch of 12, the price will be at $1.224 billion (for a total cumulative price of $35.496 billion for the entire batch).
For each F-35A Lightning II, the price is set at $50 million (Reduced to Entente Prices). For each batch of 12, the price will be at $600 million (for a total cumulative price of $19.3 billion for the entire batch).
For each F-35B Lightning II STOVL, the price is set at $64 million (Reduced to Entente Prices). For each batch of 12, the price will be at $768 million (for a total cumulative price of $3.84 billion for the entire batch).
For each F-35C Lightning II Naval Variant, the price is set at $66 million (Reduced to Entente Prices). For each batch of 12, the price will be at $792 million (for a total cumulative price of $9.24 bilion for the entire batch).
Though the prices are fairly steep (a total of $67.875 billion), the fighters are the future of military air combat in both strike and superiority capabilities and will prove far greater than these prices in actual combat.
Shipping can begin once the fourth line of twelve of each fighter (8 months for the F-23, and three months for all variants of the F-35) is completed. Each batch of twelve can be sent at four-month intervals.
As for the joint development project of the new generation of battleships, the Republic would be happy to engage in such a project between both nations and their respective military contractors. Though it is up to the nation of Animarnia to select a site for construction, the Republic has some of the premier shipbuilding and testing facilities in San Diego, Norfolk, Seattle, and Jacksonville.

As a non-Entente member, the WEF can still recieve primier equipment unmatched by any aerial force on the planet from NAR stock.
A staple to start around would be the F/A-18C Hornet. It is the staple of both the Republic's naval air and AADF; a versatile, capable, strong fighter and strike aircraft. Capable of equipping a wide range of armament, sensors, equipment, and other modifications, the F/A-18 is a well-balanced craft that stands out as a potential backbone to any air force.
The F-14 Tomcat, though retired from the Republic naval air, is the best interceptor offered (the F-22 Raptor is reserved exclusively to the Republic military-even regarding Entente members). It is capale of engaging enemies at incredible ranges with the AIM-54 Phoenix AAM, and served with distinction throughout the late 1990s. The Tomcat is a stable, fast, and reaching interceptor that can also serve with naval forces.
Depending on how dedicated of a strike aircraft the WEF is looking for, either the A-10 Thunderbolt II or the F-15E Strike Eagle fill this role admirably, with proven track records. For cargo and transportation purposes, the C-17 Globemaster III is the Republic's best cargo-size ratio aircraft, surpassing even the versatile C-130 Hercules.
Moving on to Helos, depending on how much the WEF is looking to spend on helicopters, either the low-riding, low-profile OH-58D Kiowa Warrior or the directly brash AH-1 Cobra are both strong contendors to serve as powerful air-support assets. The UH-60 Blackhawk, serving in American interests everywhere, is a must-have utility and support helo for any force. For a naval utility copter, the SH-60 Seahawk, with a wide range of models, or the SH-3 Sea King are proven helicopters for naval service.
-Republic Department of War
Addressed to the Empire of Futuris
The order of 200 M1A2s is confirmed, for an Entente Price of $5.5 million per unit (for a cumulative price of $1.1 billion for the batch). They can begin shipping out in one week, in four installments of 50 each at two-week intervals.
-Republic Department of War
To The North American Republic,
We are also....interested in the Arleigh Burke destroyers. We have heard that the South African Dominion has made a request for them. If it were possible, as you have stated before in times of limited numbers, if you have the stock, we would like to pre-order 5 such destroyers. If you do not have enough to suit both the EF's and SAD's needs, we opt for an auction for the ships.
Also, if we could send a few engineers to inspect a carrier of yours? They will be completely unarmed, and only inspecting your carriers to get a feel for a carrier. We are thinking about starting a new carrier project, and only a few basic things about carriers are needed (in knowledge) to begin. Note: We are not copying the schematics of your carriers - simply a few ratio's and/or base designs to get a feel for designing and constructing carriers.

Marxikhan is in thr process of rebuilding many things, including its navy. We are looking for modern class ships, of any class and country. We are a fairly poor nation so please, lets keep it cheap, we thank you. We also ask if anyone can spare any food, clothes or anything else needed to support refugee's after the bombings, we would love it.

We too are interested in the Arleigh Burke Class Destroyers to supliment our own new destroyers being built and those of the current fleet; having lost out to competetiors on the Battleships and other destroyers. we are also interested in perhaps purchasing a nuclear attack submarine.
in Terms of the deal for fighters; we find this price acceptable and agree that American fighters are the best money can buy we held out for the F-23A and F-35's over certain parties objections that we should purchase cheaper more readily avalable fighters we can wire the money on a yearly basis in installments that will have us paid up by the time the last fighters roll off the production lines. as for the battleship project; our designers have come up with the following outline.

Beam 39.8 meters
draft: 11 meters
Displacment: 95,000 tons Full load.
Weapons:

8 x 5 inch/50 calibre guns in 4 duel turrets (2 Each side)
2 x 20by10 VLS Cells (200 Cells Each)
4 x 8 Cell VLS (SAM/AsM)
2 x 40mm Air Defence Cannons

Most of the statistics on the battleship look good; however, in the times of air warfare and missile strike, a recommended course of action would be moving the VLS cell number to 48 (in a 6x8 grid)-allowing more SAMs to be fired quickly-and reducing the number of 8-inch guns to 12 (for four turrets). This would slightly reduce the gun power of the battleship (though not completely-the eighteen-inch guns still provide the power) while allowing the battleship to effectively combat air strike without having to completely rely on supplemental support; and to also combat naval combatants from long-distance with cruise missiles.
Apart from that, the design looks promising.
As for the Arleigh Burkes, when the Zumwalt-class begins entering service in numbers than certainly some can be set aside for Animarnian purchase. For attack subs, the Los-Angeles class are a strong and sturdy asset (though slowly being replaced by the Virginia-class), and there are many of them.

When the Arleigh Burkes do begin being phased out (and when the Zumwalt-class begins entering service in more numbers), the some can certainly be set aside for Imperial purchase.

The Western European Federation has heard your plea for aid - a westernwide government endorsed scheme has been launched by the South American Recovery (SAR) charity, formed one week ago. They are collecting clothes and food from drop off points in village halls, town centres and churches around the WEF - they also hope to raise between $50 - $100 million in donations, mainly from a tele show organized for 22 days time that will feature a host of celebrities. The scheme will end in 54 days time, and all that has been recovered from it will be sent to your country.

Denel Ordinance Reply to the NAR
Thank you for Choosing Denel for all of your Military Needs!
The G7MH costs roughly 2.5 Million USD Per System. This is due to it's reletive newness and over all ability, which is quite high due to it's extremely light weight of 17.8 tons. It's 105mm Gun is considered one of the best 105mm Howitzers available in today's world. It's modified Rooikat body provides the G7MH with enough protection to stop most Small Arms and quite a few .50cal Weapons.
But seeing as how you are part of the Entente, we are obliged and willing to give you a discount. The Entente Price, as it were, is 2.3 Million USD per System. 570 Systems at 2.3 Mil a peice comes out to roughly $1,311,000,000 USD. It will take Denel atleast 3 years to provide the Republic with all the systems, but we are willing to allow Republican Companies such as Locheed-Martine and General Dynamics to produce the G7MH locally. That way your timetable is moved up quite a bit.
Sincerely

While we understand that the M1A2 Abrams MBTs are to be sold to entene members nly, we are aking a special request. Due to our recent war with the KoE, many Leopard tanks were destroyed. To ease the already high production of our factories, we would wish to purchase some M1A2 Abrams MBTs. We are willing to pay a premium, and we wish the NAR to note our good relations.
Sincerly,

We will take the following:
- F/A-18C Hornet
- F-14 Tomcat
- F-15E Strike Eagle
- Equal amounts of OH-58D Kiowa Warrior, SH-60 Seahawk, UH-60 Blackhawk and AH-1 Cobra
Please tell us how many of each of these you can offer us. We will offer you quick shipment of payment if you quickly get these to us. We remind you in this time all of us must unite and be allies, whatever our alliance.
