I was wondering, how fast do famous personell and leaders age? Is it 1 year= 1 day? I know there's no set ratio, but what are some of your's?

I don't really pay attention to my leaders aging... I just keep them as long as I want to use them as characters and don't really change much about them while I use them.

Same here. Plus, I make my leaders fairly young (twenties, mostly) so if ever I do decide they age a year or whatever, they won't be geezers like most RL leaders are. :p

My leader was quite young (for a top-ranking military officer, at least) when he took power, at only about 40 years old. Now, he's a grumpy old man :). Soon he'll die off, and I'll have to design a replacement for him.

I don't quantify it though. There's no point in quantifying time in this game - whatever you come up with won't work; too slow and you won't be able to explain why your population grows so fast, too fast and you won't be able to explain why your nation isn't living in space. Just age your leader as you see fit. And when you're roleplaying a democratic nation, generally your leader will be voted out of power and will disappear into the realms of Z-list celebdom by the time aging becomes a concern anyway.

You just need to have your country founded on a revolution. This allows a few things.

Your leader can be believably young, given that the younger and more prime one is, the natural charisma he possesses and more believable he takes control at such a young age.
You can have enemies who still have a grudge against him which provide a logical point for revenge.
Leaving a battered nation which could help your leader in prime shape.
Provides a point of interest for the reader so you can progress the storyline to involve further relatives that could replace him when you're tired with him / her.

They age however you want them to. Fluid time.

Ex: My ruler went from early thirties to mid-forties in a few months.

Since I do FT or similarly advanced environments, aging is pretty irrelevant; my leaders are either undergoing the medical treatments to halt and reverse aging or are made of artificial parts, so if they are removed from power, it's due to either someone killing them or them being removed by the government.

But in my nation's terms, 1 day=1 month of Vetalia time.

....I'm not really sure. I've changed leaders several times, although i've kept the same Cabinet Members since I joined except for one of them who was voted the national leader in the last election.

Lets see, Maraque has gone through 6 leaders.

1st: 56
2nd: 48
3rd: 89
4th: 66
5th: 28
6th: 26

I roleplay time as 1 week in RL = 1 month in game.

Technically, the current speaker has been in office over 200 years, but is still somehow in his 30-40s. I never really pay attention to that.
