I have returned! I thought I’d try this out: A war drama. Overall, this is an rp where characters in their respective places attempt to live their lives and achieve their goals during the terrifying new war with Iran. Feel free to rp as multiple characters if you would like to.

What Happened:
July 17,2014- Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is assassinated on his 80th birthday, all of Iran is in an uproar over his death.
July 21, 2014- Parvaiz Kianoush succeeds Khamenei as Ayatollah. He blames America for the assassination of their leader while the United States government denies these claims.
August 9, 2014- American-hired assassin is captured.
October 2, 2014- Undeniable evidence is found as the assassin confesses all of his actions and his mission.
November 14, 2014- United States officials come to the World Court to confess it indeed order for the assassination. Officials apologize to Iran, but are ignored by the people. Nearly all of Iran is now unified in anger against the U.S.
January 29, 2015- “The Los Angeles Surpise Attack”- The worst tragedy since Pearl Harbor takes place as the Iranian Secret Service smuggles a nuclear missile into Los Angeles, killing at least 1 million people.
January 31, 2015- Ayatollah Parvaiz Kianoush claims responsibility for the missile launch even though there are no known weapons.
February 8-13, 2015- Congress meets on a disclosed five-day basis to determine what to do about Iran now that it is an official threat to the United States. President urges Congress to soon make a decision.
February 14, 2015- “The Valentine Declaration”- Congress, for the first time in over 70 years, declares all-out war on Iran. The U.S. prepares its troops for combat by March 1 and asks allies for assistance. Meanwhile, Iran mobilizes all angry Iranians and their allies to join the war against the U.S.

Current situation: March 3, 2015- The United States Military and its Allies have entered Iranian Province Hormozgan. The goal of the military is to reach Tehran and depose the government so the occupation can begin. The Iranian Military is now sending its soldiers to combat the U.S. led forces. The situation is likely to change if Iran does indeed have more nuclear weaponry it intends to use against the U.S.

What’s going on in neighboring countries, such as Iraq and other places, will be determined by what the rpers decide.

I might be interested as RPing as a US solider of some sort, but I'll waitt o see how much respose this gets before I write up a bio.

This is a bump before I hit the sack. At least tell me if my idea is bad or not, its better than having to suffer from the silence treatment.

I'd be interested in RP'ing as an Iranian soldier if this gets off the ground.

This sounds like it has potential, if you can get some more people involved I'll join in either as a US soldier or as a US naval officer.

I might come on as a private contractor (Like Blackwater).

It would be nice if everyone would put up bios as soon as possible. This rp may not go very far, but you'll at least have characters up for future use....

Bio: Born in Lebanon to Maronite Christian parents during the Lebanese civil wars, his family fled to Israel, and then again to the United States at the outbreak of the first gulf war. An excellent student, he attended West Point with a concentration in languages and history. After the September 11th attacks, Harith partook in the invasion of Afghanistan and helped coordinate allied attacks along with the cooperation of the Northern Resistance. He was offered a position at the Central Intelligence Agency, where he proved effective, however because of his ethnicity and personal politics he was outed. Almost immediately after removal from the CIA, he was recruited by the Titan Corporation and was used to help inititiate relations with locals to secure intelligence.

After several years of work with the Titan Corporation, he partnered with several other former intelligence officers and a wealthy venture capitalist to create a private intelligence firm, Consolidated Assesments and Solutions Incorporated. The company received many contracts from large corporations and governments to quietly survey and pacify regions in the Middle East. Harith used his knowledge of the region and the people to his advantage, and his company was charged with eliminating the Ayatollah of Iran. While the job itself was succesful, the publicity and the surrounding events obliged CAS Inc. obliged his company to remain in Iran and do everything in its means to soften the Iranian state for invasion.

Siap, after reviewing your character, you have been accepted. Just be careful not to make him too powerful even though his group assassinated the Ayatollah.

I'm thinking CAS will probably attempt to organize resistance in the local Jewish population, and maybe attempt to assasinate a few high ranking Iranian officials. He is basically has been/is a proxy for the US.

Bio: Born in Tabriz in 1992 to a progressive urban family. His father was killed by VEVAK in 2004 for opposing the government's strict interpretation of Islamic law. He hates the current theocracy and wants freedom for his country, but does not trust the United States to bring it after the Iraq War.

Massaneh joined the army in 2010 and rose gradually through the ranks, being promoted three times over his career. Lately, he has been assigned to guarding an Iranian nuclear facility about twenty kilometers west of Ahvaz.

I have no idea how many more RPers your going to get. It might not be a bad idea to start it, but keep it open to more characters.

Sure thing Nueve Italia, this is a full scale invasion anyway. Well with interest coming in so slow, I guess I shall soon post up the IC. I can't do it now being so late where I am, but the IC will be posted sometime soon. If anyone does gain interest, it will still be open to newcomers.

Sawyer went on to serve 35 years in the Corps, seeing action in Panama, Operation Desert Storm, and Operation Iraqi Freedom. From 2008-2010 he served as commander of CENTCOM and is considered one of the world's foremost experts on Middle Eastern warfare. With the outbreak of hostilities with Iran the DoD retains his services as a consultant to help plan and execute the war.

He currently serves as Tactical Action Officer and Second Officer of the Littoral Combat Ship Stalwart (LCS-12). His ship is assigned to the Persian Gulf and is taking part in operations against Iran.

Micah Sawyer is the youngest of the Sawyer brothers and the only one not in military. Micah has accepted an appointment to the Air Force Academy but after a car accident his freshman year cost him his left foot he was no longer able to serve. Micah then threw himself in to academics, earning a Bachelors Degree in Internationl Relations from Dartmouth in just three years. He then recieved a Master's Degree in Middle Eastern History from Yale, as well as learning fluent Arabic and Farsi. He soon found himself working for the DIA as an analyst in the Middle Eastern Section. He is one of America's top experts on the Iranian government and military.

History: Born in Basara, he was rather an unloyal Citizen who dilikes Saddam Hussien. His father was a farmer. He enlisted into the army at the age of 19 and fought in the Iran-Iraq War. He killed 25 Iranians and got promoted into the Republican Guard. Soon he fought Kurds, killing another 13 Kurdish Rebels. His father passed away when he was 32, before the 1st Gulf War. In the Gulf War, he led his Company to war. But he did not have a happy war, he killed no Americans and 30% of his Company were KIA. In the Second Gulf War, he killed an American Soldier in Bagdad, but soon Iraq surrendered.

He Joined the New Iraqi Army and rose up the Ranks and became a Genreal. In 2008, he became the 1st Marshal of Iraq and launched the 2009 'clean up year' which seen much transformation in the violence in Iraq. He urged the President to Replace the Army with the Police in Internal Homeland Security which they did sucessfully. 2011 seen Iraq became a rich Nation like, Saudi Arabia due to their Massive Oil Exports. He personally trained the Iraqi National Guard, with the help of traniers from the Spetznatuz and Set up a Paratrooper Division ( the 1st in Iraqi ). By 2014 the Iraqi army was back to its former Glory. In 2015 he declared that Iraq was battle-ready to help US in the war on Iran.

Born in the Mayasan region of Iraq his parents were originaly from western Iran but fled before his birth to escape western oppression and the rule fo the Shah. His father had been a well respected Cleric in Iran and Ali was to follow to his footsteps. By the age of 22 he was the top student of Shia scholarship in Karbala. He continued to study and was eventualy taken under the wing of prominent Shia Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani. He continued to rise the ranks of the Shai religous ranks until his faith was challenged starting with the dawn of the Iran-Iraq war. His parents and three brothers were all killed as civilians in the war which cause him to question his faith.

After some time he began to harbor a deep hate for the west blaming the war and the subsequent death of his family and their original exile from their homeland as aggressive acts of the west to destroy the islamic world. During the First gulf war Ali was in hiding for previous condemnation of the Iraqi governments deal with the west. But in his inner circle praised Iraqi attempts to overthrow American puppet governments. During all of this time he continues to recognize himself as a student of Ali al-Sistani but that changed with the second Iraq war when he accused Sistani of coperating with the Iraqi government which gained him brief popularity. He knew that the Iraqi military would be after him so in 2008 he fled to Iran in order to continue to be a voice of resistance.

He continued to preach but only gained a small following until in 2012 when Al-Sistani was murdered and Ali claimed to be the true successor this gained him the title of Ayatollah. He gained true fame After the death of Ali Khamenei his message spread like a wildfire and he was proclaimed Grand Ayatollah , although having no official role in the government of Iran he commands a large Shai following in both Iraq and Iran
