Alacean-Velkyan-Whyatican Conference (Closed, Attention Velkya)

President Jordan Monoclair paced back and forth. Today was the day that the invitation to Velkya was to be sent out. Thoughts ran through his mind like bees in a beehive.

Will they be interested?

Will they even show up?

Why do I have to arrange this?

He had a right to be worried. Compared to Velkya, Alacea was a speck of sand in the ocean. Then again, Velkya was too in the Sovereign League. Things had to go smoothly... right?

Jordan knew he couldn't put this off forever. He'd had an entire palace rented for the event! He knew he had to stop procrastinating and send the damn invitation. He sat down at his desk, grabbed his Imperial Stamp, and slammed it onto the envelope.

"Mary, come here! I've got an important piece of mail for you!"

The old-asian women strodded in, nodded at him, and briskly walked to the palace post office.

Everything was in order, from the gourmet Alacean sea food, to the warm towels for the pools (which probably would go unused), to the lack of grime on the windows. As an extra surprise the guests would be staying at the underwater hotel Atlantica (http://www.sabbah.biz/mt/images/hydropolis.jpg), the 1.5 billion dollar jewel of Prestige Cruiseline's m/b/trillionare customers. It was just off of St. George, the small island just off the coast of Acaria. The guests were impressed, the company gets publicity, and journalists were kept out. Everybody wins! Of course besides the current guests, who were to be kept on one side of the 1000 room resort (of which the main parts lay 50 feet below the surface).

In the rooms, the more important diplomats had a main room (http://network.news.com.au/image/0,10114,5236686,00.jpg)/foyer with a juccuzi with a beautiful view of the ocean, a table, and a king-sized bed off in another room, with a 40'' TV wich flipped into the wall to make the room look more antique. They had a small kitchen with a table, a computer so high-tech it could go in a TIE fighter, and a phone. It had a bathroom with a 2-person tub, his and her sinks and a large shower. Of course, all this came with 24/7/365 room service. The staff had the extra day on leap years off. Windows showing the beautiful outdoor ocean dotted the entire room. Guards had small rooms across the hall.

Around the hotel, there were the expected casinos, pools, spas, bars, and restaraunts, and a large ball room where the conference was to be held. Should anything happen a ship was ready to take to port, and a small hospital was ready to go.

Now, all there was to do was wait for the guests...

OOC: Just have your guests arrive at the airport Why and Velkya, I'll take 'em to the hotel...
