I tried to make my entrance to the main world of NS once before, but now I think that I can make this work, since I know have more time on my hands. Basically, I want to rebel from your realm into a soverign state, and thus sending myself onto the world stage.

Buristan is a natural gas-rich country of 15 million people, mostly farmers. The capital of the province/departamente/state/whatever is Abdullai, home of 1 million Buristanis, Abdullai straddles the mouth of the Yalla river. Their are 10 tribes in the country, along with numerous clans. the nation is 45% Muslim, though Christianity comes in a close second with 40% of the populus practicing. Much of the country is divided by the Fokok mountain range, though there are a number of passes through them.

I would submit, my puppet, Evil Gopher Eaters, as an option. They are a strick dictatorship with little civil rights.

I'd be interested, but not perhaps as an actual part of my country, but a territory controlled by it for hundreds of years, like India to the British.

I would love to have you rebel agianst my Holy Empire. Right now in RP I have a General that already want's to rebel agianst the Emperor so mabye the Emperor could banish him and he could help you out..

You do not want to try one with me as in old time my countires was a large colonial based Empire, and still is without letting any of my colonies go.

As well, my country was an oppresive one when slavery was legal, up till the early 20th century, and the slaves of the colonies made up more then 90% of the population with a few percent of the pop being colonists whom ruled with a cruel iron fist seeeking to make profits to the highest degree. This would well be a way for your nation's immense hatred for the 'home' land of the Empire.

As for the current situation the people are not allowed to vote as ctizenship laws do not apply to the colonies, corporations made up of the old colonial families still extract every cent from the colony that is possible, the people are badly educated and quite hungry, and the Empire turns a blind eye to the evils in the colony, but will use force whenever the colony shows signs of protest or revolt without caring for human toll for the populations of the naitves.

So how does that sound?

Hey! It's been a while and I'm a little rusty but a colony of Camel Eaters would be a hell of a nice thing to be. Mainly because we've got a nice little clan system that your people would have to be adopted into and some messed up Islam-Confucianism with a big ole sprinkling of the pagan.

Honestly I'd just want to see like what came out of such a mix. Slavery is legal as is cannibalism, though the interest in it as a traditional form of punishment is waning. We have an open and free form of trade though I swear if you desire we'll wrend every cent out of the blood of your people.

I was thinking that the reasons for revolution would be more economic, but carry on.Well aside from the oppression, I was hinting at the people of your country living in great squalor, having little food, barely getting anything for their labors, all the wealth of their nation being put into the hands of a couple noble houses and into the coffer of the Empire, have no benefits, forced to work and if not they get their food rations cut off for them and their entire household, huge parts of the population living on a few great estates and plantations owned by the Scandinvan nobility, heavy taxes, get no real medical coverage, and so essentially it is worse off then nearly all of Africa.

As for the conditions on the plantations and estates they are run by colonists whom use whips and shock sticks to work as hard as they can, work essentially from sunrise to sunset, and in all sense live worse then the slaves of the old South of the United States.

Back to the mineral wealth of your country is being exploited by the Scandinvan elite for enormous profits with none of it going back to you, all of which comes at a great physical and mental cost to your people.

Back to the oppression the people of your nation live in fear of the Scandinvan colonial forces which have spies everywhere, secret police roam the streets arresting people for the slightest sign of dissident, all lines of communication are tamped, all media is censored and people publishing critical news reports are abducted by the secret police and never seen again, political dissidents are sent to essential useless labors camps which are just used to kill through some of the most gruesome ways possible, no native of Buristan can achieve much in the end, education is kept to a minimum, illiteracy is actually encouraged, all jobs must be approved by the Scandinvan colonial office, most of the labor is basically on par with slave labor, all food and water access is tightly controlled by the Scandinvan colonial officials whom often cut it off, and many many other darks things.:cool: Such as torture and the pratice of new weaponary on prisoners.
