I have a terrorist group that I would like to create and RP, and I believe a good way to start it off is with a major action against a nation. The action could be one of several kinds I have in mind. I don't plan on something like a NBC type thing, but if someone wants that then I can do that. The ideas I had in mind were as follows:

1. Assassination of an important person. It could be a high-ranking government official, religous figure, corporate CEO, general, or anything else that the government is willing to allow. The assassination would either be a poisoning or a shooting, although I prefer the latter.

2. Bombing of an important area. Once again, it could be a military base, religous institution, company, or government office. In this case, however, I prefer to either due something politically or militarily related. The bombing would probably either a car bombing, bomb left in the building, or even (I like this one) a shoulder mounted missile at something.

3. Kidnapping of an important person. The victim could be one of the same kinds as the assassination. However, I would prefer a government or corporate official in this case.

4. Theft of something like a nuclear warhead, warship, plane, missile, or experimental military unit. Or, something like a religous artifact, business records, millions of dollars, or a government communication. The military related ones would probably be used while the religous/corporate/government item would be used as blackmail.

5. Any suggestions.

I won't say much about the group now, but they are a semi-fanatical, militaristic group with good organization and a widespread network. Their goals are different at different times, but ultimately they seek something along the lines of a world government or world domination (But it doesn't have to be under their control, a slight twist). They also occasionally offer themselves off as almost mercenaries to willing governments and have backing from many high-up groups that either support them or hope to use them to take out rivals.

I know I'm being kind of vague, but I'll give further details once I get some replies.

Love too. Assasination/kidnapping of a corporate or political figure or theft of military technology would be cool. I have some specifics in mind, if you want.

Actually, perhaps we could do both, one as a cover for another. If the Minister of Defense (for example) is killed, things will be hectic and easier for the theft of technology or vice versa. Anyway, can you give some specifics for what you suggested?

See, my nation is kind of a military-education complex. Technological prowess has made up for a lack of natural resources. I've had this idea for a little while now:

What I was thinking was that my nation's top college just proved the Riemann Conjecture (a famous unproven mathematical hypothesis), but instead of publishing the proof, it was bought by a defense contractor who is working with my nation's intelligence organization to apply it to a new system of cryptology. Finally, a very powerful code is created, but someone working for Cassius walks away with it, and it could eventually end in your group's hands.

Your group would assasinate someone in my nation who has been causing trouble for Cassius, i.e. the undersecretary for customs enforcement (since we have no official police, the Treasury Department poses the biggest threat to Cassius's smuggling operations).

They are called the Wolf Pack. The organization is lead by an Alpha whose location and identity is unknown to the world's intelligence agencies. He or she has several body doubles and underlings who pose as them to keep them safe. The heads of operations in countries are called Betas, and they command several different Teams. The Teams have varied purposes, from command, to assassination, to intelligence, and etc. Each team is composed of various Members with various abilities and specialties and are led by a Team Leaders.

The Teams in your nation would probably work in conjunction to get the job done. The intelligence team would get the location of the target, the assassination team would take them out, and there would be another team that would prevent a double cross.

So, how about we RP Cassius contacting the Wolf Pack and them accepting the job, passing it on to the local Beta, and from there the assasination and pick up of the code are arranged?

Works for me, but Cassius also rarely comes out of hiding. One of his underlings will be sent to handle the task.

I'd be willing to host an assisination of one of my House of Lords, or possibly an attempt on the High Emperor.

Siap: Yes, I'll start it with a member of the Wolf Pack at a prearranged meeting point waiting for Cassius' man to give them the details.

Kolvokia: I would be interested in an attack. Give me some specs on the House of Lords. This group isn't after leaders just yet.

I would be willing to have an attempt on my Supreme Chief, and I am sure I can think of a reason as to why. He is on the way out of office and a farwell tour could be an opportunity if you are interested.

Information about the House of Lords from Kolvokia for the assasination.

Information about the Supreme Chief job.

Once you're done with Siap, etc. I'd like to offer my Nation.

I was thinking an attempt on the life of my leader [Lord Fenris] with explosives, perhaps leaving him disfigured/maimed, I'm uncertain.

At the same time you could stage a heist on a military data-card/disk [Guarded by a convoy passing through one of my cities] which has the bank details of accounts to be used by the Ministry Of Defense for the purchase of foreign weaponry.

You could roleplay a flight through the city as it goes on lockdown, etc, or whatever you wanted. Depending on chronology you could also have Agents from Siap and any other Nations you attack, having heard rumours of a Wolf Pack presence and are thus in the vicinity.

I'm thinking you thus manage to aquire a percentage of my Defense Budget [Negotiable?], giving your group reasonable funds for future activities.

Well, you've given the most detailed response after Siap, and it seems the most desirable as I get something out of it that would be useful beyond simply causing damage that furthers their goals indirectly. So, about how much defense money are you willing to part with?

That's about $1217, 526, 695 right now, but I imagine it'll increase with time.

So was that number 1,217,526,695 as in over a billion? As for the funding, I think that would be fine. They have other sources of income, from single murders to thefts similar to this one, but smaller. They can keep themselves stable for the most part and well supplied, but any substantial boost is welcome. 1 Billion is big money.

The Supreme Chief would be doing a farwell tour around the nation. A group of rebels who he defeated some ten years ago want the last word. Security is good, however that is why the rebels would pick you. Ill post more info later.
