Since their creation the nations of Seminear and Qualth had been uneasy, for years it was simply marked by border raids on both sides. One day Qualth lead by the fearsome Sultan Scott marched it's impressive army into the rich tin mines of southern Seminear.
Angered by this assault the Grand Duke David of Seminear called forth three of the other most powerful nations in the realm. Avandaria: the dragon kingdom in the center of the island's, Xanitos: A militaristic nation set in the deep south of the island chains, and Genartica: The fearsome nation to the north. With Seminear on the same island as Genartica and Qualth the farthest south the battlefield was set.
At Ultopiz, the capital of Seminear a union was made. The Alliance of Power swore to crush any force that would stand against any of them, but who would lead? A fearsome debate arose as Seminear and Avandaria wished to rule. Seminear won in the end and lead the Alliance of Power.
Qualth quickly retreated from the Seminear mines and tried to stop the oncoming war with the Alliance of Power, to no avail. The armies against Qualth formed and in a desprate act he sent 200,000 of his best trained men to sack Xanitos.
The call went to Avandaria who marched quickly to Xanitos with 400,000 Dragon riders which their King Tritus personally lead. They connected with the Xanitos army to fight the Qualth invasion.
Genartica and Seminear formed the Army of Destruction in the far north and are now awaiting permission from King Tritus to move their armies through his nation to enter Xanitos in the south.
And so the Island Wars begin.......
