Prime Minister Vladimir Bronislav sat down at a table with his most trusted advisors.

"As you all know the nation of Wolfestein has recently collapsed and left some of out Slovak brothers to live in a broken land. The Republic of Caxistan was built on the basis of uniting all Slovak brothers and bringing peace to the Slovak people, that is why I am proposing that Caxistan annex this province which shall be called Lubelskie, after the old Polish Voivodeship that was once there."

The advisor's at the table seemed to like the idea of Caxistan expanding, many with slight grimaces on their face.

"This new province will open a new world to Caxistan, seeing as it has a coastline, something Caxistan has been urging for many many years.Colonies would create a much larger, much more powerful, much better Caxistan than ever before.Caxistan would be able to build a navy, increase trade and open the door for more Slovak brothers wishing to emigrate to our nation.
Due to all this happening in this one province,Lubelskie will thrive and be one of the most prosperous provinces in Caxistan after it has been established. That is my proposal my brothers,to unite our Slovak brothers and enrich Caxistan.

The advisor's at the table got out of their chairs and gave Vladimir a firm handshake.
Vladimir considered his advisor's his friends, and they actually were since he appointed them himself.

The next step of the annexation was sending this new bill to the senate to be passed and signed.

In Nasjonal Krig

All 273 senators were in their seats as the new bill was being passed, the speaker was reading the results of the voting.

"219 Yea,54 Nay"

It was obvious how much support this bill had in Caxistan, almost all of the senators supported it.Vladimir Bronislav was very pleased to see how successful his bill was doing,he thought to himself he would surely win the next election.

The bill was brought back to the Prime Ministers office, now signed by the senate, the next step was to get it signed by the House of Commons, with seeing as how much support it had from the Senate, getting the HoC to sign should be no problem.

In the House of Commons

The Speaker of the House stood out of his chair to read the results of the voting process.

"It's definitely going to pass"

"No doubt"

some of the supporters said to the PM as he sat in his chair with his hands crossed, resting on his upper lip.

"567 Yea,141 Nay"

The supporters of the bill began to clap and shake hands, the PM was pleased with the result.

Back at the PM's office

"Write a telegram to the leader of Lubelskie" said the PM to his secretary

Dear Heindreich Gustav,
since the fall of Wolfestein, your province has become broken and torn,Caxistan as you know is a haven for Slovak brothers to live in unity and harmony. That is why Caxistan is extending it's hand to Lubelskie to join the republic as a new province.Caxistan believed in uniting its Slovak brothers and seeing fellow Slavs torn apart like this truly saddens us.

Lubelskie would be the only coastal province in Caxistan, thus making it the only province with marine ports and large trade from merchant ships,Lubelskie will prosper under Caxistani control.

Caxistan is fully prepared to help its Slovak brothers, and we eagerly await your answer.

Prime Minister Vladimir Bronislav of Caxistan.

Within just a few hours a telegram was sent back to Caxistan by Lubelskie.

Lubelskie declines the generous offer made by Caxistan to join your union, but Lubelskie sees it as their best interest to remain independent and we believe we can prosper under her own control. After the collapse of Wolfestein Lubelskie does not want to be run by another foreign government.

Heindreich Gustav

"Send another telegram back!"

Caxistan is issuing an ultimatum of 24 hours to reconsider this unwise decision or severe there will be severe consequences for Lubelskie.Caxistan wishes to keep this diplomatic, but however you leave us no choice.

Once again, another telegram was sent back in a relatively short period of time.

Vladimir waited for another telegram, but there was no reply
"Good, perhaps they are reconsidering their foolish mistake"

Hours and hours went by,and still no answer,Vladimir was beginning to think they were scared.Eventually it was nightfall and Vladimir was tired,he eventually fell asleep and hopes he would get another telegram when he awoke in the morning.

The telegram did not arrive and the ultimatum for Lubelskie to reply was expired,Vladimir sort of liked the idea of going to war,he had never declared war before and he found it quite exctiting,he waisted no time getting ready for his shining hour.

"Send another telegram to Heindreich" Vladimir had a smile on his face as he said this to his secretary.

Given your refusal of our entirely reasonable demands, and the expiry of our ultimatum, you leave us with no choice. A state of war is now in existence between these lands and Caxistan until such time as they be rightfully incorporated into Caxistan.

"Send this telegram to the Senate, the House of Commons, and General Józef Yosyp Kyrylo.Get me the newspapers, get me on the radio,I have to tell the people and get them behind me on this one."

Within just a few minutes the national press was at the Prime Ministers office setting up equipment for him to give his speech, nobody but Vladimir, and his secretary knew about the war.In Caxistan the Prime Minister can declare war without consulting anybody else,The Prime Minister was also the head of the army in times of war.

When all the radio equipment was set up and the stenographers where ready to type the speech,Vladimir sat down to begin his speech.

"My Slovak brothers, today we can rejoice, today is the beginning of a unity of Slovak people, today Caxistan grows.Caxistan has declared war on the neighbouring province of Lubelskie,of the former nation of Wolfestein.
Our Slovak brothers were torn when Wolfestein fell, and we generously offered our hand to our brothers, but they refused our help, they refused to be freed.
Heindreich Gustav, the leader of Lubelskie,is a tyrant who refused to join Caxistan so he could keep the people as his slaves.I could not let our Slovak brothers be slaves, that my brothers is why we had a revolution to free ourselves from the corruption.Think of this my brothers,as a second revolution.

Caxistan had no choice but to do what is best for Lubelskie and all of the Slovak people, but to declare war on Lubelskie. The army is being send to Lubelskie now to march on the capital,I have full confidence in our army to set out brothers free from the stranglehold on them by their tyrant leader.

Rejoice my brothers, let out your pride for Caxistan, show your Slovak pride, march in the streets, show the Lubelskian people that they don't have to be oppressed and they too can become free just like us.

Россия является большой, долгосрочной службы революция!"

With that the radio's were shut off,and the stenographers finishing up,the Prime Minster got out of his chair and looked out of the window.Already there was a small group of people in the street with a Caxistani flag.

Vladimir knew that Lubelskie was not being run by a tyrant, and he also knew that the people were not being treated as slaves, but he needed the people on his side, and putting them under the light as the good guys was just the way to do it.

OOC:I hope this is sufficient enough to start off the annexation.

Summary:Caxistan sees an opportunity to expand and gain a coastline,so they jump all over it.The prime minister makes a bill and has it passed,he then invited Lubelskie to join Caxistan as a province, but they refuse.Caxistan declared war on Lubelskie and the PM gives a speech about the war.

They had, it must be said, somewhat expected this.
As a result the response was swift, some might say indecently so.

Vladimir, we congratulate you; I understand your nation is at least reaching towards the sea.
Incognitia fully supports your restoration of order to the troubled province of Lubelskie, and would like to assist you in developing the maritime side of your nation, now that you have one.
We ask but one thing in return; that you cede one port, and one port only, on your new Baltic coast to Incognitia.
