Banco Federal de Manaus, Manaus, 09:00:

It was a Glorious Summers Day in Manaus the usual Hustle and Bustle of the City ran its course. The Banco Federal de Manaus was well known as the Rich Man's Vault. A Bank that kept the money of Drug Dealers and Arms Dealers safe. As the Banks Employees went about their work little did they know that this would be no ordinary day. As the Banks main door was unlocked as if by clockwork the Job was launched first of all 4 large trucks "Break Down" at each end of the street. Causing the Bank to become isolated from the rest of the city. More or less at the same time 10 People enter the bank carrying banners saying "Free the Animals". Wearing Tribal Masks they begin shouting abuse at the staff and begin to hurl things around the lobby. 2 of the people retrieve Spray Paint Cans and begin to deface the remainder of the Lobby.

Its not long before the Banks Security Guards begin to struggle with the Loud and Destructive Protestors. Outside the Bank more Protestors begin shouting and waving banners.

Phase 1 of the Job was ago. Posing as a Truck Driver on one of the Trucks a man speaks into his Rig Radio:

"Phase 1 Done. Go Phase 2"

OOC: Ill post Phase 2 soon.

Assunção Solimões checked the ammo on her GSh-18 handgun before hopping into the passenger's seat of her police cruiser. Her partner, Miguel Shi, was already seated in the driver's seat. Manaus's smooth jazz radio station was playing out of the car's horribly inadequate speaker system, like it seemed to always be; Solimões was always listening to it, and Shi never bothered to turn it off.
"What do we have?" Solimões asked.
"Rowdy unauthorized protest, O Federal," the Chinese officer replied, unwrapping a piece of spearmint gum and putting it in his mouth. Solimões noticed that Shi was never without gum. Having first worked with each other in the Polícia Federal, which was now all over the country in large numbers and effectively completely under Presidente Song's control, Solimões admitted she didn't know him too well, but the gum was apparently something he had started after he quit smoking.
"Probably some native nuts," Shi said, pulling out of the station's parking lot and driving towards the Banco Federal.
"'Native nuts?'" Solimões inquired as her partner started driving, "You know you're speaking to one, right?"
"You're native?" Shi asked, "You don't really look it."
"I'm cafuzo. My dad's black, my mom's Xucuru...Oh shit!" Solimões replied.
"What?" Shi said, as if he hadn't heard her right.
"Are you looking at the damn road? Look at that traffic! Must have been an accident," Solimões said.
"Well, we aren't that far from O Federal. We'll radio everyone else, then go on foot," Shi said, "It's not that hard."
After radioing the other cars on route, Solimões and Shi started out on foot towards the Banco Federal, and the angry protesters.
"I've got a bad feeling about this," Solimões said, checking the ammo on her GSh-18 again.
"Put that away," Shi said, "And you should have a bad feeling about this job. You should have one every day..."

He then quickly turned on his heel and took out a small flash light he flashed twice at the truck and entered the control box and sat down.

Palace of the Revolution; Tailville DR, Wagdog
"Elaine, you're watching the news right?" General Secretary Carolinus Horridus had the TV in his residence's bedroom on, a large if not precisely excessive flat-screen to match the faux-luxe waterbed that dominated the room. The news of the Manaus roberry was already going into its third cycling as he had one of the two Revolutionary Command Council Secretaries relevant to this matter on his mobile...
"Yes. We still don't know much about it and it looks like a Brazilian internal matter." Interior Secretary Elaine Williams naturally didn't like not knowing much about potential security threats, but there it was all the same. Besides Comrade, it might just be criminals too. I hear some of Brazil's gangs can get as organized and political as what these guys clearly are, but then again... She decided to move on. "We'll find out though. Rilir's good at helping us there and all." Although the Interior Department held control of the various Red Guard branches in peacetime, and the Internal Bureau of Investigation for domestic intelligence in Wagdog at all times, most international stuff like this fell to the more-powerful State Security Agency under the elven-dominated State Department.
"Very well, Elaine. Just keep on the matter until we know more. Out." Hanging up his cell, he then turned back to his deputy and wife as he said "Well, work calls honey."
"Mmmm-hmm..." Deciding to sleep in, Christine Friedrich rolled over as she said. "Just don't blow up too much without me around OK?" She knew he wasn't that bloodthirsty, hell she'd been worse herself a couple times during the Revolution, but it was still a standing lovers' joke all the same.
"Indeed not dear." After one kiss, the long fully-dressed General Secretary strode out of the executive apartments and made for the elevator to head down towards the office space immediately below. There was work to be done for the Wagdoggie Government, especially now with Brazil hit by this sort of brazen strike...

Solimões was about three feet from the bank's door when she saw the explosion. It wasn't close enough to her that she was hurt at all, but it was big and loud, leaving what was once customers, bank employees, and protesters smeared all over the walls. And it came from back where the safe was.
"Where the fuck are they? This place is being robbed!" she shouted.
It was at that moment that police sirens in the distance got closer, and out came Brasilian special forces, wearing black and toting IMBEL FA-2000 rifles (copies of the CZ-2000). They ran in, pushing their way through the people in the bank who were still alive, Solimões and Shi following them. When the protesters got in their way, they tended to be met with a rifle butt. The Brasilian cops went around the tellers' counters, into the safe room, and heard, "Time to go."
The security guards were already there, and being fired at by the masked men with silenced MP-5s. The special forces, Shi, and Solimões all fired back with the remaining guards, ran after them, but it was too late. Their van was already gone.
But not all of them were.
Solimões saw one of them running after the van while it was driving away. She ran up behind him and gave him a heavy-handed smack over the back of the head with her pistol. He fell to the ground, and she roughly grabbed him by his neck and picked him up, smashing his face into the wall. He fell down again.
"Get up, you fascist scum!" she shouted, picking him up by the neck again. Not much evidence of that claim, but she had been in the URS during the Civil War, and hey, a lot of Latinoamerica's problems were currently fascists. Holstering her GSh-18 and pulling a set of handcuffs, she yanked the MP-5 out of the man's hands and threw it to the ground, then pulled both of his hands behind his back and cuffed him.
"By a Autoridade Revolucionária, you are under arrest, you counter-revolutionary piece of shit," she said. She looked over to one of the SF guys and shouted, "Get a van! We're taking this motherfucker to Coari!"
Her request was acknowledged, and, after Shi arrested another one of the guys, they were thrown into a plain white van. From there, they were thrown into the back of a small moving truck and both crammed into a single wardrobe. That van then got on the isolated highway through Amazonas and headed towards Coari, and the high-security prison on its outskirts. That prison was reserved for Presidente Song's political enemies and former members of Brasil's old military regime. At this point, Shi was left behind, and one of Solimões's old buddies from the URS, Calixto Silveira, who looked on as Solimões and another Polícia Federal guy crammed the robbers into the wardrobe.
"You've still got it, Assunção," Silveira said, as the two of them hopped into the cab in the front.
Solimões chuckled a bit, "Shut up."
