News Republic, Bulgia Republic
President Grigore Istok is a man unrestrainable, embodiment of the nation! Coining the term Bulgian Advance he, today, entreats the masses to begin their new work, their great walk.
For years Bulgia has languished as its people toiled under the old conditions. The new Republic and its first government, that of Costel Nechita, darling of the Bulgian Socialist Workers Party, speaks of a drastic change in labour relations, which must be brought about through the bravery of stoic Bulgians, who have worked so long for so little, and now intend to work so hard for so much.
The guilds are torn down, the field-dividing walls with them, revolution will be seen in the on-going actions of party and people.
Istok warns Bulgia Republic that, for the first time, it will have from its labours something to lose, something that others will envy, and insists that the Nechita Parliament must look promptly to the defences.
"Sons and daughters of Bulgia - we are famously brave - our Republic does us justice - we are, now and forever, for all the world to see, United and Prepared!"
-Grigore Istok, President Bulgia Republic
-News Republic, though officially independent, is yet to seriously criticise the Republic, the Office of the President, or the B-SWP. It is noted, currently, as much for its editorials and opinion as for real news content.
Outside disinterest in self-proclaimed Bulgian prosperity is likely to go unnoticed by a people unaware of the exact nature of a television and still moderately impressed by the annual tractor parade, or whatever it is, with its T-34/85s.
