Dear Sir/Ma'am,

We at VLT Automotive, are, as you probably know, large in the production of automobiles. This makes that we are always looking for expansion. Therefore, VLT Automotive Group N.V. is interested in buying Anza Motors of Maraque. Anza Motors would remain semi-autonomous inside the VLT Automotive Group, but production and sales will be under VLT Automotive Supervision. We prefer the establishment of your own dealership network, and your own model range. We can guarantee that you can follow your own directions, and VLT Automotive will only be assisting in times of financial problems. VLT Automotive is prepared to buy Anza Motors for $5 Trillion USD.

Signed,

Grand Duke Koen van Luxemburg

(OOC: Quick post, don't have much time. Essentially, Anza Motors will be a part of the VLT Automotive Group, but is semi-independent. If you got any OOC questions or remarks, please send me a TG or give me a shout on MSN. It's just that I'm trying to prevent any competitors in this market :p )

Dear Sir,

I have looked at your proposal with serious consideration. The proposal itself is very good; but as you may not know, Anza Motors is an imperial-family owned and operated corporation and has been for over 5 centuries.

In this respect, I must decline your offer as to keep the company family owned and operated as per tradition. If it were not for that, I would consider your proposal with more thought, but as it is, I could never dare break the tradition this company has on the society in my country, and the prestige the company holds because of its history.

Dear Mr. Atwood,

Your request for 5-7 dealerships has been accepted. Representatives of Anza Motors Corporation will send out a team to inspect prospective sites for the facilities. These facilities will be state-of-the-art facilities and will no doubt be a good economic boost for the communities they will be in. We hope they serve your country well.

Your estimate for Anza Motor sales in your country also pleases us, and we hope they keep up to these standards as we believe Anza Motors will prove to be a very popular, reliable, and prestigious brand within Calizorinstan.

Although we have no need to build any more factories at this time, we will certainly keep you in mind when the time arises.

Dear Sir,

Anza Motors does not sell a model of the designation L675. Perhaps you meant F675; if so, please specify whether you'd like the LWB (Long Wheelbase) variant or the ordinary model.

The total cost for two of each model will come to $99,995 or $101,010 respectively. The shipping fees will be $24,998.75 or $25,252.50 depending on which you choose. Our Maximum Protection package, which is two times more protective than the standard internationally recognized protection will cost an additional $100,000 per car if you so deem it necessary.

Total cost options:
$99,995 + $24,998.75 = $124,993.75 ($324,993.75 with Maximum Protection Package)
or
$101,010 + $25,252.50 = $126,262.50 ($326,262.50 with Maximum Protection Package)

To Whom It May Concern,

On behalf of the Vetalian Economic Advisory Council, we wish to discuss the construction and operation of AM facilities in our country. We feel that this would significantly increase economic ties between our nations as well as solidify Vetalia's position as a dominant economic powerhouse in the automotive industry.

Number of dealerships: Based upon preliminary sales estimates, we feel that AM will likely need enough dealerships to sell around 1 million vehicles per year. The number of these dealerships hinges on your own business practices and sales model. Projected future expansion and the number of additional dealerships are detailed in the expected sales numbers below:

Expected sales numbers: Based upon prior data for companies entering the auto market, we estimate AM will sell on average 500,000 to 1 million cars in its first year. Going with prior trends in industry growth, and assuming consumers demand its products, it will likely increase to 10-15 million within a decade. After this, it will likely grow at an above average rate until it approaches 12-15% market share, or around 30-40 million vehicles per year. Further performance will hinge on AM's ability to expand its facilities and take market share from other corporations in the industry.

Brief description of your automotive market:

A mature market with approximately 270 million vehicles per year are sold in Vetalia. The majority of vehicles falling in to the "mid-level" range of roughly $25,000-$35,000 per year (in 2007 US dollars). Approximately 32% of our market is light trucks, but due to stricter environmental laws it is expected this share will decline to around 25% of sales in the next 10 years.

The possiblity of Anza Motors building an automotive assembly plant in your nation:

Extremely high. Due to the strength of the Vetalian Solaris in the exchange market, as well as our favorable corporate tax laws regarding foreign investment, it would be highly beneficial to producers as well as consumers that AM operate manufacturing facilities in the country. Our infrastructure is continually expanding and more than adequate to accomodate any and all needs of major manufacturing facilities. The location of these facilities will be discussed in depth upon acceptance of our initial proposal.

We also wish to discuss the construction of automotive research and development facilities at Vetalia University in Xilare and at our Institute for Applied Mechanics. Vetalia's commitment to scientific progress and rigorous protection of intellectual property rights is well known, and your firm would prosper in such a collaborative effort.

Not so brief description of investment conditions
Overall organic growth potential in our market is expected to average 1-2% per year, with some variance due to economic conditions. However, our business climate is stable and macroeconomic fluctuations are well regulated by monetary authorities. At present, the interest rate on C-series bonds, with a face value of Ş100,000 (roughly $227,000 USD), carry a 5.25% interest rate. This is likely to reach 6% at the end of the Vetalian Reserve's tightening campaign.

At present, Vetalian Solaris exchange with USD at a 1:$2.27 rate. Calculating the exchange rate with Maraque will require some currency figures.

Dear Sir,

We estimate the sale of 500,000-1 million automobiles would require at the very least 70-139 dealerships in your nation total. If you believe this is acceptable further discussion can go on.

Your automobile industry appears to be quite sound, and we feel that getting into such a vast market would be good and beneficial to us both.

Your liberal estimates for car sales also intrigues us, and we would like to discuss further the construction of dealerships so that we can get the cars on the ground as quickly as possible so your people can get the cars they desire. We believe Anza Motors will not be a failure in this environment.

The establishment of automotive development and research facilities would be an excellent endeavor to engage in, as it will benefit not only ourselves but the students that enroll in the program. It will path the way for a new generation of skilled mechanics and others in the field.

As for manufacturing facilities; we do not seek to build any manufacturing plants at this time, but as demand for our vehicles increases we will keep you in mind.

Currently our exchange rate is M$1.00:$2.02 USD.

Dear Grand Duke Koen Van Luxemburg,

Anza Motors Corporation is a part of the Anza Conglomerate, which is a wholly owned corporation of many branches which has been in the Imperial Family for over two thousand years. In this regard, we also pride ourselves with tradition that we do not engage in partnership with any other corporation.

Anza Motors is by no means in a delicate situation, and is indeed a part of a corporation that made a profit of $34 trillion USD on revenue of $86 trillon USD last year alone, with revenue and profit solidly climbing each year. It has enough financial clout to fall back on to keep it in business for years.

We appreciate your thoughts and proposal, but we must so humbly decline and wish you well in all your future endeavors.

I will submit this to the Proconsul for finalization as soon as possible, and the submission to the Vetalian Governing Council for approval is guaranteed to go smoothly. It is likely the President will sign this trade agreement within the next week.

The location and construction of dealerships and any other infrastructure needed to deliver your product, the companies you contract to build and deploy them, and all other factors are at your discretion. Taxes and other fees are based upon provincial and national tax codes, but Vetalian law guarantees a three-year abatement from national taxes for new businesses. Vetalia's commitment to personal transportation is a deeply ingrained part of our culture, and as a result we are confident in the ability of your company to grow and maintain market share. We will not disappoint, and our nation will offer significant growth potential well in to the future.

We are disappointed in your decision not to construct manufacturing facilities in our country, but the door will remain open to Anza Motors as well as its subsidiaries should the need arise. Further plans regarding the operation of R&D facilities are in the works. We are more than happy to provide your corporation access to Vetalia's top universities in order to train and recruit top students in the fields your corporation needs. Vetalian science and engineering programs are some of the strongest available, and we are more than willing to accommodate your students and engineers be it for vocational, undergradute, and/or postgraduate studies.

The closest thing to a sportscar Anza Motors makes is the D475, which is a 4.7L V8 which produces 360hp, and 325 lb ft of torque; however, we could always commission a special one-off vehicle for him based on his specification, at a cost.

I have a proposal for you:

We could produce a light-weight sports coupe based off the D-Series chassis with the 6.7L V12 producing 580hp, and 470 lb ft of torque found in our F675 luxury sedan, re-engineered to handle the power, and add any special requests at his discretion.

The commissioning itself will cost approximately $86,220 with a shipping fee of $21,550, plus $80,827.50 for the specialized assembly work then the cost of any additions he requests, which will be described in your reply to me.

That sounds acceptable. He requests your standard safety features such as ballistics glass, run-flat tires and armor plating. Other than that, he also requests the best stereo/CD player combination you have to be installed in the vehicle, preferably one with a bass-boost option.

To Whom It May Concern,

We wish to congratulate you on your successful entry in to the Vetalian automotive market, and on your continued success as one of the finest automakers on the market. However, you also possess a significant strategic asset that we wish to tap in order to enhance the security and stability that your company depends on.

Vetalia needs skilled workers in the fields of systems engineering, metallurgy, and automotive engineering in order to further advance our work in developing new prototype vehicles for military and civil applications. In particular, we seek to develop advanced artificial intelligence systems for our new series of R-98 tanks, and we need engineers skilled in these fields to design structural and powertrain components that will be capable of protecting the complex electronics inside while still providing mobility and efficiency on the battlefield.

If you choose this option, your workers will be able to collaborate with some of the finest electronic and software engineers in the world, giving your company a crucial edge over its competitors. Our approximate need is for roughly 15,000 engineers; at present, the exact needs of the program are not established but they will be in the near future. And last, but most definitely not least, your company will recieve significant compensation of $100 billion per year as well as access to VARPA's extensive civil research library and a $30 billion per year R&D grant to be spent at your discretion. Further compensation and benefits can be discussed upon preliminary acceptance of this offer.

Further negotiations and project specifications will be conducted by the project manager, Quaestor Anatoly Krylenko.

Thank you,

Sirs,

While we are always seeking foreign investment, the majority of the highways across Siap are privately owned, and as such, cars are generally purchased by upper middle class and by the government. We estimate that you could sell approximately 2 million cars per annum. We feel that there will be a high demand for the coupe or the smaller model cars, as fuel efficiency is a priority in the minds of many consumers. (We are unsure how many dealerships you would require).

As for the possibility for an assembly plant, we feel that The Community would be an excellent choice. We have a well-developed infrastructure and the populace is highly educated, with science and engineering one of the most common fields of study in higher education.

We look forward to your response.

Dear Sir,

We thank you graciously for your congratulations for our successful bid into the Vetalian automotive market. It was clearly a good choice for us to do so.

In regards to your offer, I am happy to say that Anza Motors Corporation is a member of the Anza Conglomerate, an alliance of Imperial-Family owned corporations that include an industry leading Aerospace technology company, and as well Anza Motors Corporation has an armored vehicle division which is in charge of the research and development of Maraque's next generation class of battlefield motor vehicles, which would appear to be right up your ally.

We could certainly provide the 15,000 needed engineers in the specified fields of study and expertise and will no doubt be beneficial to both of us in the long term. We feel that this is an offer that can not be refused and look forward to it getting off the ground and seeing the results.

Your liberal estimations of sales intrigues as rather profusely. We feel that refusing to get into such a market would be a big mistake on our part and we wish to accept.

We estimate that you will need approximately 21,459 dealerships to supply the demand. This will make Siap our largest market outside of Maraque, and indeed even larger than its home market.

Because of current production capacity is unable to supply so many vehicles, we would like to build 125 manufacturing plants in your country which will produce approximately 50 million of the cars per year. Additional facilities will be built in Maraque and in other country's to prepare the market for such numbers.

Excellent! Proconsul Lunacharsky told me about your interest in our proposal, and it's time for us to move forward with the initial stages of research. Here's a rough idea of what will happen in the coming months:

First, the engineers you select for the project will be screened by VARPA in order to ensure they meet the security and background requirements needed for clearance. We estimate this will take no more than three months, and following this the engineers and their families will be relocated to Kalograd, a suburb of Vetalia City and home to VARPA's main Tactical Research Center. Following relocation, they will be briefed on the developments on the software and electronics side as well as the project's goals and following that will commence work on the project.

We have some rough deadlines* in place that you might be interested in:

Initial Phase:
July 2021-Security authorization begins for selected applicants
October 2021-Authorization complete, relocation begins

Research and Development Phase:
January 2022-Initial plans completed, initial research paths developed
November 2022-Proof-of-concept plans
June 2023- First prototype, secondary research paths developed
September 2024- Second prototype, field testing begins
August 2025- Tertiary research paths developed

Implementation Phase:
June 2026- Final prototype and presentation before Vetalian Ministry of Defense. Independent testing of non-confidential components begins at this point.

July 2027- R-98 model enters initial field service, assuming it passes independent review and VMD approval. A two-year test period under regular duty conditions will be undertaken to push its capabilities and see if any unforseen problems arise.

If we complete these deadlines on time, it will result in additional compensation and expansion of your research grant, probably a 5-10% increase plus an inflation and currency adjustment. Of course, at the same time, if we fail to meet deadlines it will have a similar negative effect on those bonuses or even bigger cuts if there are serious complications. However, VARPA will extend our deadlines in the face of justified circumstances like real technological barriers or concerns about safety/reliability.

The compensation and research grants mentioned in the initial proposal will be paid starting at the start of the next fiscal year in October. Should you feel that any changes to the agreement are needed, feel free to contact me and I will forward it to my superiors ASAP.

Thank you again, and I hope this project further strengthens our ties. Your contribution to this project is incalculable and it will definitely help us achieve our goals far faster than expected.
