IC: It was a time of intelletual war, the nations at the moment were at an uneasy peace. The nations divided themselves into different alliances based on their ideologies. All the liberal nations formed the Progressive Coalition, the conservative nations formed the Alliance of Antediluvian Nations, the fascists created the Fascist dominion and the communists became the Red States. The Enlightened Union of the oppressed states would be destined to form later on when the war became horrible.

George Bernard: Those bastards! *twitches* They took my family from me! In the old days no one would have aloud this to happen! *notices a gun shop and smiles* Time for me to do what my ancestors would do. In the days of old if anyone dared try to brainwash anyone on South Lizasaurian soil...it would be considered and act of war and dealt with just force. *walks in* 'Ello, 'ow much for the sniper rifle and 500 rounds?

Gritznyk grabbed the duct tape and began to wrap it round the looted weapons from somewhere, he wasn't sure where, Humies had such funny names, for everything, even weapons, things like Aykayfortisevun and Emmmmmsik-steen, the duct tape was secure, as was Gritznyks knowledge that he had the shootiest weapon around.

There was another roar of WAAAGH from the crowd who tore apart whichever nation this was beforehand.

He raised his fist, and the huge crowd cheered loudly,and Jack sat down. Jack had 4 Nazi Guards around him, and 2 more hidden in the crowd, and also Jack announced he would send a repersenitive to South Lizaria to convice them of the national socialist ideals

OOC: South Lizasauria when it it reformed to fascism even though they hate nazis because the dictator believes that the Jews are God's chosen people they still seemed kinda analogical to nazism only they hated criminals, sociopaths, liberals and baptists instead of Jews, non-whites and communists. The early Reformers even had their own version of the holocaust. They're centrists now so barely anyone except the nazi party and Kraigel's party will welcome this. This is just to explain why the South Lizasaurians will react differently than others would to this.

Today tragedy struck in the nation of South Lizasauria as the prominent figures from three seperate nations were all assassinated by a single sharp shooter today. The man was quickly gunned down by the apparently incompetent security forces in the area, however, the full repurcusions of this event are only beginning to manifest themselves.

All of the nations involved have expressed outrage and radicalist movements and sentiments are disseminating in the wake of these shootings. Many Alutians have expressed deep concerns about the stability of the region if this situation continues to spiral out of control as it currently is. Because of these concerns the Alutian military has been put on a higher alert status and intellgince assets have been reassigned to keep an eye on the developing events. Unforunately we lack any further details and have had very little success getting information on these military matters. However we promise that as soon as we get the information we will pass it on immediately.

First off, this thread has become cluttered with OOC information, my first suggestion is to make an OOC thread for this war. My second suggestion is to break down the war into phases so you don't get a whole bunch of random raids, invasions and bombings all placed through out a single thread...The third would be to finish up your business in this thread and abandon it.

This is just my suggestion. If my sign up has been accepted by the others in the original thread, I'll be breaking up my actions into seperate threads and the links will be given to those involved to make individual actions easier to track and to allow for more plot to be devised, effected and brought to a conclusion in an organized manner that does not disturb the intergrity of the action.

I've been in a few "mega threads" where everyone just posted everything in the same spot and things get missed.

I'm sorry, but another chancellor has already been elected to replace me once the rumor that I would be impeached came out so that when I leave he will immediately take control that way we don't have any more power struggles especially with the current situation escalating. I am not aloud to give you command of South Lizasaurian military bases however you are aloud to build temporary bases and our bases will support yours nonetheless. Our bases are open to give and medical aid or unit maintenance that you may require. We will also give you designs for a new combat suit. We already have many "armored infantry" divisions fighting the Kraigel's forces. They are heavily armor plated, the outer part of the suit gives enemy units a deadly electric shock while the user is protected by the rubber part he is in, it has life support, is gas, chem, cio and radiation proofed and takes tons of firepower to take down. They also have tons of eye gear like night vision and transparent warning images that flash when something's wrong. The GIs in the armored infantry also have miniguns as a primary weapon. Admiral Montgomery was never much one for words. He always went straight to the action. Ordering men around was what he did for a living, and he was good with it. He understood tactics intuitively, but this is his first real test. Before, he had done nothing but training. Now it's for real, and it's a good purpose too. Thinking of that purpose, he realized that there should be some marking of this expedition.

The new chancellor was more militaristic, and had a taste for destruction, he also sought to punish the populace's rebellion with slightly oppressive policies to prevent any more large scale rebellions. Armored infantry guarded all key areas especially parliamentary buildings and other structures that involved government leadership. With martial law declared police and troops patrolled everywhere in order to deter rebellion, crime and terrorism.

"Today, the 1st Carrier Group and the 3rd Task Force from Vetalian Southern Naval Command, along with an amphibious assault division, set sail from Vetalia City for the coast of South Lizasauria, to support the rebellion by a collection of territories against the national government. These forces are under the command of Admiral Ivan Kozlov and will be stationed off of the coast where they will establish a supply line to Der Kraigel and its forces fighting against the government. They will also provide air support and aid in the naval blockade of South Lizasaurian provinces in the region."

Admiral Kozlov stood on the deck of the Orel Ul'yanovsk Class Carrier Solovey staring out across the waves as the fleet moved steadily through the bright blue waters of the South Vetalian Sea. It was terribly humid in the South, and as a precaution he had the crates containing weapons and ammunition to the provinces of Der Kraigel doubly sealed inside the supply ships that trailed behind the rest of the fleet. Even though it reduced the number that could be carried, he wanted to ensure the cargo arrived in working condition...the last thing they needed was to spend the money, time, and manpower moving these forces in to position only to find a crucial part of the mission could not be completed.

Based upon estimates provided by navigators, the fleet would be in place in roughly 10 days and the first supplies would be unloaded in 12. If necessary, the amphibious division would land and secure a coastal port to unload supplies, but he felt that Der Kraigel at present was more than capable of keeping supply channels open for its use. Things were going well...for now.

Vladimir Corpelstein, the Shakal security minister, read the reports from SL. His orderes were to send a fleet to support the Fascist forces. He would obey.

Captain Thoma sat quietly in his chair. He was in charge of the Shakal fleet being sent to SL. All he needed was for the deal with Vetaka to close then over 100 ships would come to help his already formidable fleet. Out the window he saw the Shakal Supercarriers moving along in excess of 24 knots. The Shakal South Lizasaurian Attack Fleet consistes of 4 SD, 6 Supercarriers, 10 normal carriers, 10 Battleships, 20 Cruisers, 50 Frigates, and 100 Destroyers. It was among the largest fleets the Shakal had ever sent to combat.

The Kraigel had tons of support, he was pleased. He began considering making an alliance called the Fascist dominion. His small but rapidly growing fleet ventured into government controlled waters which were sunk by moderate subs, however the Kraigel's subs were of better design.

"Thanks to some 'investigation' of the local infrastructure, we've found that the government has not yet tapped or dismantled some of the outdated telegram lines in the region. These have allowed us to send messages to your forces via telegram at least for the time being. Encrypted with this message is our plans in regard to securing the local coastline:

0500: Vetalian troops will board transports and landing craft stationed with the fleet off of the coast. They will set sail for the coast of Kraigel.

0600: Aerial and sea bombardment of any hostile targets on the coast, along with some penetration inland to cut off as many reinforcements and supplies as possible. If there are no hostiles, our forces will remain on alert while our troops land.

0700: The first wave of Vetalian troops, consisting of three divisions from the 1st Expeditionary Force will land and secure the main ports on the coast.

0800-1200: Upon securing the main landing site, six more divisions divided in to two command groups will capture the remaining two ports. If necessary, aerial bombardment will continue while sea bombardment will be halted to allow the ships to resupply.

After 1200 hours, the remaining Command Division containing the officer staff for the 1st Expeditionary Force will land. This force will also contain engineers and combat construction regiments that will get to work immediately assessing the capabilities and damage to port facilities and begin repairing them.

Based upon our evidence provided by our reconnaissance squadrons, it will take no more than a week, two at most, to have these facilities up and running. The fleet will remain in place to support the blockade, but we are moving in another carrier group and a second task force to provide additional security for our supply convoys and to provide additional air support. These forces will be in place within 10 days of establishing our beachheads at these critical ports.

So, we estimate that a fully secured and operational supply chain will be ready in one month.

IC: the Moderates already have began tightening their waters or the waters that remained theirs, submarines patrolled the outermost parts of the moderate's aquatic territory, naval battleships guarded everything there in, planes constantly patrolled farther out to collect recon and detect enemy activity and if possible slow them down, keep 'em company and do some damage.

A South Lizasurian Thunderhawk bomber spotted a large rebel and Vetalian ships, it took pictures and began heading towards Lividston which is famed for having large air force bases. It radioed other bombers and fighter bombers to begin attacking the convoy in order to slow it down, one of the Kraigel's pilots spotted it and began closing in with the rest of the planes in his arrowhead formation following, four of the fighter escorts (meant for dogfighting not attacking ships) moved in to divert fire from the recon plane as three planes guarded the retreating craft.

OOC: Then we'll hit 2, 3, and 4. Supplies will go through Kraigel's ports to his forces.

The Shakal fleet was joyed with the air cover Kraigl had given them. Captain Thoma was also overjoyed to learn that the Shakal would be getting a huge number of reinforcements now that the deal with Vetaka had been made. The landing force of 3 divisions would be reinforced by another 12 as the Shakal help arrived. Thoma was also excited to finally meet the Grand Admiral of the Shakal fleet. He wanted to learn everything she knew. Before anything could be done he sent an ultra encrypted message to Kraigl.

Thank you for the air support provided. It shall not go to waste. As of now our forces are en route with enough supplies to last for a year long campaign. We will support the cause of our fascist brothers.

Admiral Kozlov stood on the command bridge, watching the radar closely as the South Lizasaurian bomber flew within range of their aircraft before pulling back. "Recon." he said simply, continuing to watch the radar intensely. The sun had only just started to rise and the sky was gradually lightening in the east.

"Should we deploy aircraft, Admiral?"

"No, but have them ready. I want our fleet to have full air support if and when the South Lizasaurian troops attack."

"Yes sir." The technician began to transmit the order from the Solovey to the other ships in the fleet, and soon the sounds of alarm klaxons ordering pilots to their ships began to ring throughout the ship. Kozlov watched as the first three landing fleets began to split off from the main group, sailing towards landing sites A, B, and C.

"I want air support to cover those convoys carefully, and I want all of our Overlords fully ready to intercept any air strikes. Once the carriers and the rest of the fleet are in range of the coast, I want them to hold position while all of the supply ships to keep moving towards Kraigel's ports. We'll send the subs along with the supply convoy for protection. If we're attacked by air, I want the SL planes to go after the supply ships, not the landing fleets. We can replace weapons, but it'll be damn tough to replace 10,000 veteran infantry and 600 marines. Keep a close eye on radar, including infrared. We don't know if they've got stealth or not."

"Yes sir. We will have a report ready at 0700 when the landing fleets are in position"

"Good. Very good. Keep me informed of the situation." Kozlov turned and walked out of the command bridge.

IC: The air battle began, the planes under Kraigel and the defending dogfighters clashed sparking a dogfight, still the recon plane moved on. They were nearly in range to communicate with allied bombers in the area to request an air strike on the ships.

Kraigel planes flew above the Vetalian fleet ready to put up a good fight to keep most of the defending enemy air nits at bay however the moderate navy was a problem especially with submarines patrolling the area which were resiliant to most anything but depth charges and the other ships though somewhat vulnerable still had large guns and anti-air to compensate for their vulnerability.

In the Boeing 727SO(modifed with a ramp, for the 150 Calizorinstani Falcon's to jump out the back) Col.Jack Barn gave the breifing to the men. Abput 65 miles from Lividston

"So, we've been given orders to do a behind the raid at the Lividston Air Field, and to cripple the jet's so that they can't attack our Vetalian friends on the shore landing, thus here' our plan, Brent (pointed to the senior leader) will lead an attack on the side of the airfield, (where it's less defended) with 40 men, and we gentlemen (he nodded to the rest) will inflitltrate the back of the military faclity. That's all men and godspeed for the rest of the flight."

Man: Zat vill not ve easy comrades...My name is Hommler. Von of zeh Kraigel's top ovficers... Us South Lizasaurians are a paranoid people and when it comes to holding out we are near the finest, they have a dense population and Lividston being the 3rd emperor Livid's home became the capitol, so as well as being famed for vit's airbases vit is also the place with the majority of vits forces, and let us not forget zeh defenses ve'll have to go through in order to paratroop there, sending planes to divectly paratroop behind there without disabling defenses is suicvide not a plane would even make it to 10 miles near it let alone drop.

South Lizasaurians are paranoid and thus have defenses everywhere, under emergency protocol everywhere is made an inpossible field of strategically placed defenses, you cannot just simply send a paradrop into the capitol because A it has millions of troops readily there and most of them are elite and secondly there are AA posts on the way to Lividston from the shore, several military outposts. That being said it is impossible to have your toops walze in from any direction without having them wiped out at this point. I take it all the enemies are coming from the ocean so thus it'll be wasteful for a back attack on Lividston since the only way to reach it with is by getting through all the patrols and military guarding it so any attempted back attacks would be foiled.

By then the government air force was already aware of their presence, and the enemy was withing range of subs, torpedoes were shot from underwater, bombers began attacking ships as Kraigel's planes attacked them and danced the dance of death in midair with the SLAF fighters. The Wraith fighters proved superior to anything the Kraigel had and caused many fascist planes to be reduced into flaming fireballs whose fires were extinguished as they plunged underwater and rested in their watery grave. Bombers continued to drop torpedoes as destroyers and battleships along with subs continued to deliver their ordinance.

OOC: If you want, I can sketch an idea of how the fleet is laid out

Kozlov looked out the bridge windows at the sky, which was darkening as the sun rose. He saw a flash of thunder on the horizon. As he prepared to go back to his quarters to prepare for the attack, the ship violently rocked and a loud explosion was heard. He ran back out.

"What the hell was that?"
"Sir, the SL navy's hitting us! They just took out one of the fuel tankers destined for Kraigel"
"What!? How did they escape detection!?"
"I don't know sir"
"Well, no time. Order all of our fleet to mobilize and get out there to hit them hard. I want all air support in the skies immediately!"

Already, he could see explosions in the sky and on the water as his men scrambled to mobilize their defenses. Plane after allied plane plummeted to the water below, several of them coming dangerously close to the ships at the front of the fleet.

Rapidly, the first Mig-38 interceptors and Yak-141 fighters took to the skies to engage the SL air force and its bombers while the ships began to prepare themselves for firing. They did a good job of slowing the onslaught and allowing Kraigel's planes to regroup, albeit at the cost of 7 MiGs, 4 Yak-141s and 9 Wraith fighters. A squadron of Yak-141s broke away from the fight to help take on the bombers, drawing in on them rapidly.

Missiles and ordinance launched from the Sovremmy destroyers hammered several SL subs close to their fleet, destroying at least two, but torpedo salvos from the SL subs caused heavy damage to them, and one was already listing, with two more on fire. Within about 15 minutes, life rafts were being dropped from the listing cruiser as it sank further and further below the waves. The other two hadn't sunk, but a damaged powerplant in one of them made its movement slow to barely half of its prior speed.

The Overlord frigates at the front of the fleet began to unload AA defenses on the bombers, causing two of them to go down while another three were damaged enough to be forced out of combat. One of the downed bombers crashed in to an Overlord, crippling it. The rest of the bombers remained, however, and fired their targeted missiles at the Kirov battlecruisers that guarded the center of the fleet. None took serious damage thanks to their antimissile defenses, but a rogue missile missed and hit a supply ship, which exploded and rained shrapnel on the nearby battlecruiser, disabling a missile launcher and injuring nearly 30 crewmen, 12 seriously.

The Kirovs waited until the bombers had pulled out to begin another attack, and proceeded to unload their SS-N-19 Shipwreck missiles and were able to inflict severe damage on some of the SL destroyers by targeting them en masse to overwhelm the anti-missile defenses. The Amur attack subs moved almost silently below, closing in on the battleships of the fleet to try and incapacitate them before they could inflict massive damage on the Overlords at the front of the fleet.

Wraiths used countermeasures and other things to hold them off, already moderate ships fired not only their ordinance at enemy ships but was now shooting tons of flak and many AA missiles into the air, those who got too close were picked of by machingun posts and gattling posts. The subs went deeper to ovoid enemy fire and began firing all they had at the enemy. Two enemy cruisers unsuspectingly went on as two torpedoes blasted the two in half, the officers watched as the crewmembers scrambled out like ants when their nest is opened up or attacked. Just then a depth charge forced them to surface. Lividston at this point sent more air to the area, about two planes for the remaining allied planes. Helicopters were already being sent as well, a squadron gattling helixes enters the scene and began picking off infantry and any air they can. (helix with 8 gattling cannons on it, four napalm bombs and one chaingun on front) Several Comanches are sent ready to pick off enemy survivors and shoot rockets at air or naval targets if their AA is preoccupied.

Meanwhile other subs detected enemy subs and began shooting torpedoes at them.

"Pull back, pull back!" The admiral shouted, seeing the AA fire go in to the sky. Suddenly, two Sovremmy cruisers went up, hit from below by a massive salvo of torpedoes from the subs that had hit them, and then another explosion occurred as a sub was hit by the depth charges. Another supply ship was hit, this time by a downed bomber that still had its payload on board.

A large number of the SL planes flew within range of the Overlords, but strong surface fire and air support drove them back with a few planes shot down. The situation was at an impasse. The Yak-141 squadrons had successfully downed five more bombers and drove an equal amount out of the battle, but suffered the loss of six planes by staying in the fight for too long and not pulling back to the Overlord cruisers before more planes came to hammer them.

The Amur 1850 subs began unloading on the battleships, seriously damaging them and disabling their engines before being forced to pull back, and one of them may have been damaged enough to start sinking. However, one captain made the critical error of surfacing too soon and the battleships rained down fire on it. The submarine sunk below the waves, setting off a malfunctioning depth charge that blew up, tearing much of the remaining hull to scrap. They successfully managed to avoid the enemy torpedoes, but unfortunately the torpedoes did end up hitting another supply ship, this one loaded with (thankfully) unloaded infantry weapons.

The Kirov battlecruisers and the battleship continued to unload on the surface fleet, inflicting serious damage on the SL cruisers that were firing in to the sky. Another one was sunk, and another caught fire with its black smoke billowing in to the air and making it difficult for the other ships to fire in to that area. If they kept this up, they might be able to cripple their cruiser AA defenses and begin taking to the skies again.

Using the opportunity, a squadron of Mi-8 helicopters flew through with a platoon of special forces. They were able to get past the ships and unload 34 of the 40 men; one helicopter had been hit by the AA fire and crashed in to the burning ship, exploding. They made their way inland, towards the defenses in the town itself.

By then Lividston command under the emergency protocol already set up hidden bunkers and other defenses meant to hold off invasion from the beaches, a machinegunenr from a pillbox saw them the other pillboxes and bunkers with rocketlauncers in them began firing unto the men and their craft. Helicopters were now providing air support. By then the air raid sirens in Lividston went off as civilians evacuated, the SLFR was already transporting troops and units to Lividston as the 13th and 14th armored infantry division were sent to reinforce the beach, each man was in a special combat suit with electricity flowing through the outside, armed with a minigun for a primary weapon and an assault rifle or a p-90 as secondary, they also had grenades and multiple kinds of bullets like EMP or the new glass ones that are like frags on steriods.

OOC: The armored infantry are mentioned earlier, they have metal suits to protect from enemy fire so they can just stand there and unload their ammo. They are meant for lining up in defensive formations and mowing down large invading armies and holding them off. They are resistant against melee and hand to hand because of the electricity and as mentioned earlier their radiation, bio, chem and bullet proofed suits can take alot of punishment which is why they can stand up there like that or go into dangerous areas to complete missions where there's radioactivity or toxic materials. Their weakness is explosives which is why they usually have tanks in between formations covering them.

The armored infatry formed two lined formations, when the first line ran out of ammor they would swap places with the line behind them so while the second line covered them they'd reload and then do the same again, tanks formed a line formation of three behind them. The troops got into formation outside the warehouse and began firing while the rest of the defenses stood by to pick off any survivors.

On the seas, however, the situation was somewhat better. The Kirovs and battleships were raining more and more damage down on the SL ships, while the Overlords helped defend the skies and the Sovremmys hunted down the subs. The main SL battleships were either sunk, badly damaged, or incapacitated, and their remaining cruisers were fighting hard to keep control over the skies which still swarmed with planes.

"Admiral, we'll probably be able to secure the sea fairly soon. Do you want to order the fighters back out to engage?"

"Yes. Tell them to target the bombers first and then work over the planes."

The undamaged planes began to take to the skies, targeting the last few bombers in the air while carefully remaining in their own airspace. However, a few were blinded by the smoke and flew too far, coming under withering fire from the Wraiths.

Suddenly, the first enemy helicopters burst through the smoky front and began to strafe the Sovremmys with guns and missiles. The damage wasn't too extensive, but a lot of personnel were cut down and two cruisers lost their main gunners. In a well-coordinated attack, the remaining SL subs opened fire, sinking the two detoothed cruisers, but were unable to detect another one due to the disturbances caused by the destroyed ships and came under heavy fire. The ship sunk three subs, but took two torpedoes to the bow and needed to pull out.

"Send out the Mi-8s! These damn helicopters are going to pick off a lot of men if we let them keep going"

"But sir, they're right near the edge of our air control zone."

The helicopters took off and began flying towards the Sovremmys at the far right end of the fleet.

The Overlords held their position and began opening up on the enemy airplanes, trying vainly to target their missiles and flak weapons through the smoke rising from the destroyed SL ships and the damaged Overlords themselves. Several planes were shot down, two of them crashing too close to a ship for comfort, but not enough to cause lethal damage. By now, at least, most of the supply ships had pulled back behind the carriers and could avoid damage, but a few were still getting hit as they fell back.

The men moved towards the door, but the junior lieutenant stopped them. He said to the senior lieutenant in command of the platoon. "Sir, there's got to be at least 100 men out there plus a few tanks. If we try anything, we're dead."

"God damn it, soldier! This isn't the time-" He stopped, catching a glimpse through a window of the soldiers outside who were hammering the strong concrete and steel walls of the warehouse. "Damn it. Hold your men."

"Sir, we've found a drainage tunnel underneath the warehouse that leads to the city's sewer system. A man can fit comfortably in them, and it widens up once you get through the warehouse part of the tunnel."

"Alright men, hurry up and get through that tunnel. But before we do, I want the area loaded with the explosives we've got. You two get to work laying down the C4 while us five cover you. The rest of you and the junior lieutenant go through the tunnel and wait. If we don't show up before you hear an explosion, just keep moving till you've gotten somewhere secure."

By then 8 cruisers and 4 destroyers answered the other ships' SOS. The cruisers began firing tomohawk missiles at the heavy battleships while raining artillery onto the enemy battlecruisers. The destroyers targeted the overlords and began attacking.

Admiral: Send ships from other patrolls to the shores to help defend and in the meantime have more air support where they left.

OOC: But its a warehouse on the beach, the sewage goes right to the sewage plant that which leads to the forest, and has no connection with the citiy's whatsoever. Plus the city is over 50 miles away from the beach so it would be impractical to have one warehouse line go to the city.

The armored infantry continued putting holes in the warehouse in hopes that a few stray bullets would catch someone from behind the walls. The tans loaded the armor piercing shells and began firing at the warehouse with their machingun turrets helping out as well.

A few stealth bombers flew in at amazing speed and began dropping dozens of high explosive torpedoes in the water aimed at Kirovs and carriers, a couple more stealths aimed at two largest ships only with a MOAB bomb. There were a lot of stealth fighters in the SLAF but they were barely used, however their bunker busters were thought to prove useful in destroying command decks and killing the crewmembers of enemy ships, 200 raptor jets protected the stealth fighters as they entered the arena, South Lizasuaria was once again doing what it always does when another nation offends their government or tries to invade, they throw everything they have at the enemy to ensure victory, a few B-17s were sent out so command could see if they'd be useful. The stealth fighters launched their bunker busters into the openings of ships from bomb damage and into the windows of command towers and anywhere the missiles could go in, seconds later they would send fragments of depleted uranium everywhere.

OOC: It's a drainage channel more than a sewage one, so it's most likely connected to the city in order to drain rainwater from the city, areas in between and from high tide down by the water. It's going to run along a road between the shore and the city, and the warehouse will probably be just a storage site for equipment to maintain the road and beach.

"Alright, we've got to get going. I've got the remote detonator, so let's get moving." The remaining men ran to the entrance to the drainage tunnel, a grilled manhole designed to allow water from the floor drain in to it. Climbing down, they met with the rest of the platoon and said "Alright, let's blow this thing." A loud explosion ripped through the warehouse above, and the walls of the tunnel shook, raising fears of a collapse. However, it soon settled, and they kept moving hoping it did some damage.

The men walked along the steep, narrow channel, hearing the dull thuds of weapons far above them. Occasionally, a stone would fall from the ceiling of the tunnel, but nothing major. They kept moving, seeing occasional drainage holes like the ones back in the warehouse, but every few seconds a vehicle or soldier would step on the grill, showing they couldn't surface there. "Keep going. They can't keep sending forces forever."

"Sir! Stealth coming in!" The infrared displays picked up the stealth fighters as they moved in, and the word went out to the engaged units to stop them at all costs.

Using infrared tracking and the clearer vision at higher altitudes, the MiG-38s successfully shot down the two stealths moving towards the heavier ships, but the others were able to unload a deadly salvo of torpedoes on the Kirovs and Overlords, sinking two more of each and damaging the rest of them to varying degrees, especially when the depleted uranium ripped in to their hulls and command towers. However, they were not all incapacitated and continued to hammer the remaining SL ships with whatever they had. Nonetheless, about half of the remaining cruisers and destroyers were incapacitated or lost, worsening the already bad casualties from the battle.

The Amur 1850s moved towards the cruisers, but came under fire and were forced to pull back without opening fire. Instead, they targeted the destroyers with minimal success. None were lost, but they were almost clean out of ammunition and would have to pull back to be resupplied.

"Sir, those bombers...when we hit them, their weapons fired and hit the water. The problem is, they didn't appear to deton-"

Suddenly, a colossal plume exploded from the water near the Sovremmys, rocking all of the ships violently and pushing up small amounts of wreckage that flew like shrapnel in to all nearby objects. One of the Sovremmy cruisers tipped over entirely and capsized while the others were badly stunned by the sudden shock. The waves emanated out from there, rocking the other ships of the fleet and causing the fire from some of the cruisers to go errant and hit one of the others,with heavy damage. An Amur that was close to the blast area was destroyed when the shockwave damaged the firing bay and set off its remaining torpedoes.

However, despite the damage from the bomb, the Vetalian fleet was reducing the SL fleet to total ruin and the remaining planes were engaged in a desparate fight to hold off the Vetalian fighters. With a fresh Vetalian task force only 15 minutes away, they weren't in a good position to keep up the fight. However, the large numbers of fighters and bombers closing in didn't bode well, at least until reinforcements arrived.

"Sir, fighters and bombers closing in! We've only got a few squadrons left and most of the Overlords are out of combat!"
"Send the last of them in, now! We just need to hold 13 more minutes and the reinforcements will be in place!"

The lieutenant ordered them to be quiet as he climbed up the steel ladder to the manhole cover. Lifting it, he peered out. Nothing, but looking behind him he could see the tail end of SL forces moving towards the city. A sudden, loud hum caused him to duck as a colossal air force moved overhead towards the sea, where plumes of smoke rose black in to the sky.

He spotted a small forest about half a kilometer off of the road. "Come one, let's go. We can take cover there and radio in our situation to the fleet." The soldiers climbed out of the tunnel, taking cover on the side of the road as each one made it out. Finally, when they were all out, he said "Move out, men", and they ran to the forest as fast as their feet could carry them.

"Send a message to the Vetalians. They are about to get some help." Thoma ordered. The Shakal supercarriers were launching all fighters to help there allies and protect the fleet. The navy itself would land 10km east of the Vetalians and support them as soon as the SL navy had been taken out of the picture.

Vetalian Admiral, our fleet is going to be in engagement range within half an hour. Our fighters are already en route and our ships will encircle the South Lizasaurian fleet. We hope this operation bodes well for both of us.

The admiral took it, read it, and said "Excellent. With those kind of forces we'll be able to break the rest of the SL navy and airforce and begin pounding their ground troops from offshore. Once we've broken their defenses, we will give General Ligachev the order to begin sending in our landing fleets."

The Vetalian reinforcement task force radioed in that it was in range as well, and the admiral gave them the order to take to the skies and engage the SL air force. With the SL naval fleet crippled, they could drive off the fighters and begin preparing for a landing at the outpost.

"Captain, what is the status of the platoon of SF we sent in?"
"I don't know sir, but they haven't radioed in yet."

Cleaning and to help prevent flooding in the event of a storm or high tide. Since the city's more elevated than the beach, a drainage tunnel running along a major road would be a good way of collecting waste water and allowing it to run out to the sea.

If it's a high tech warehouse, it might also need a tunnel for power and data cables.

The generals recieved the mid-battle update and did as many South Lizasaurian generals did before them. Send out a small force to measure their foes (that phase just ended because the small force is crumbling) then if the small force fails send in a nexorbitantly large one which is possible due to the large population.

the rest of the units circled around the beach ready to engage one the enemy came close, 2500 dogfighters made a mid-air charge to the enemy air-units as 100 of each bomber attacked the ships with a few dogfighters going top speed in order to distract AA while the bombers attacked, 4 paratroop planes began paratrooping troops over enemy ships to see how well this worked out, some were armed with rocket launchers and began firing at turrets once they were out of the plane.

OOC: But a tunnel would be impractical since the city is miles away and secondly when the cities were being placed the Kraigel at the time [Livid] was paranoid and located Lividston in a way that no enemy could easily reach it by land or sea so why would he order pipelines large enough for people to fit through outside the city in areas that at the time were easy to take over. The way Livid set it up was so that every area had it's own sewage plant and South Lizasuarian sewage plants are unique, it all goes to special facilities where domesticated dung beetles deal with it, the workers simply fix the pipes and keep the dung beetles alive. To Livid it was keeping the balance with nature and allowing nature to deal with the waste in a way that it wouldn't screw with the environment. The pipe would just lead to a sewage plant with a few government agents guarding it and a bunch of low class workers.

OOC: The sewage thing applies to outposts as well, every outpost, town, city region has designated "sewage plants" for them only. There are only underground networks inland so far, the ov didn't want to spend on making some near the beach because of the threat of flooding. You can try the underground stuff once the Kraigel backs you up enabling you do make a successful assault. :) ;)

The Kraigel waited until the Toorians grew comfortable and unsuspecting. The Kraigel put on "just man" act and contacted the rebels in Toori and promised that he will not attack them as long as they don't attack the Fascist dominion and that he'd give support in retaking the Impendor and in defeating the government allied with the moderates in Toori. He also promised to right the wrongs that were done to them and pretended to mourn for their losses. This made a temporary ceasefire with the Reds, he then made a deal to split up the Comar 50/50, of course before hand he contacted his fellow fascsits and informed them of this "deal" he made with the commies and informed them that he was only buttering them up so attacking them would be easier, all they needed to do was wait for a response and bide their time.

Their contribution was vastly larger than the small Vetalian expeditionary force, and their colossal air support of over 2,400 fighters backed up by hundreds of destroyers and cruisers would be enough to devastate the remaining SL air forces before they could launch a serious strike on the incoming forces.

In addition, the arrival of the Vetalian reinforcements put a few hundred more planes in to the air, along with a fresh batch of Overlord, Neustrashmy and Sovremmy cruisers and destroyers to hammer the skies. Instead of a battered Vetalian expeditionary force, they found an entire navy of freshly deployed forces. The pilots and crews of the Shakal and Vetalian reinforcements were more than ready to engage the worn out and battered SL forces, and it showed in the loss count. What seemed to be a victory for SL, or at best a stalemate, was now looking like a devastating defeat.

The SL attack wave began to collapse as the swarms of Shakal fighters took to the skies and hit them while they were focusing on the Vetalian ships closest to the front. It ended up costing the original attack fleet their remaining Overlord cruisers, but the SL air forces were in chaos and began to break apart, attacking wildly at whatever was nearby. The sheer chaos of their attempted overwhelming strike racked up losses, and the salvos of SAM and other AA fire from the combined fleets further worsened the situation as slower moving bombers, left undefended due to the chaos enveloping the fighters, were shot down, adding to the general chaos.

The sheer size of the SL attack forces were just too great and unwieldly to manage strategically and it was costing them badly. In fact, it looked like they'd be lucky to escape with 4 or 5 to 1 losses against the enemy attack.

OOC: Dude, only Shakal can RP his units. And secondly I didn't send my whole air force, just a portion of it to stop the invasion. And you can't RP enemy units you can only RP how you attack them and how many troops you send. The one being attakced RPs his units dying or reacting.

OOC: Shakal's not on and his forces were entering combat at the time. It's up to him to RP what happens after they engage the enemy. I'm just describing what he did up to the point of his last post and no further; the fleet arrived, and it's attacking them.

IC:

The invasion army destined to attack the Reconaissance Islands did. Pretty soon teh blitzkreig commenced and the whole invasion army charged. The allied troops fought hard but were slowly being overrun. Bombs went off everywhere in the battlefield, the sound of gunfire was pervasive, planes filled the skies. It was a hellish scene.

Admiral Montgomery stared dumbfounded at the ability of these nations to mobilize forces of this magnitude this quickly. Nevertheless, he gave the order to sail into the battle to help fight against Kraigel. It was at this point he saw the attack on the Reconaissance Islands, and saw that those forces were more in his league. He knew he would have a chance at a fight there. He gave the order to divert both carrier groups. He realized he would arrive to late to stop the attack before it started, but he would at least make it an actual contest for the islands.

He looked down at the latest status reports from the ground bases in moderate territory, and saw nothing but bad news. He saw he would get no real air support from those bases, and ground troops had only just begun to arrive. He saw he was alone, but he knew he still had to fight to defend the men, women, and children of the islands from the bloodthirsty and vicious Kraigel.

(Kraigels command bunker, Reconaissance Islands)

Colonel Romblar:[visiphone] Sir! The allied dogs are holding up! And allied reinforcements from Toori and the Confederacy are expected to arrive any minute to help them fight off out invasion! Where is the support from the Grecian rebels?!

Kraigel:[visiphone] They'd better come...send forth seige weaponry.

Colonel Romblar: Yes my Kraigel!

Kraigel:[visiphone]*hangs up and rests in the safety of his home* Now all I need to do is strategies how to take Lividston.

IC:

Fascsist forces were being held back by the moderates defenses up until the point when the next blitzkrieg commenced. Vast armeis of planes, ships, tanks, and foot soldiers stood by.

Officer: Comrades! We need you to cover us while we land, additional firepower from our airplanes and ships should make that easy. After our ground forces meet up with yours the attack may commence. Heil Kraigel!

OOC: After this invasion Kraigel takes Lividston, then the Fascsist Dominion goes around taking over stuf as the out souther and south western part of Godhaven fight with all they got (which'll be like the battle of Britain). I'll come up with what happens next later

In the air a huge mess of South Lizasuarian aircraft continued to crash into eachother as the Shakal missles tore into them. The landing forces had been dispatched with heavy air cover and were landing on a beach 10km north of the Vetalians. He just hoped that the Sl military would continue the swarm tactic which would lose them the war.

IC: The planes distanced out and once the area was filled with the number of planes it could hold without too many crashes the rest went to hidden airfields far inland. By then the Chancellor was evacuated more inland.

The defenses stood ready as the planes now more organised tried once more.

IC:

Artillery cannons were firing like crazy now as were the missile turrets in an attempt to bring down ships. Some destroyers were taking down and larger ships were taking damage.

"Sir the SL planes are retreating to get better organized." The ensign said.

"Fire at them to thin they out some more." Thoma ordered. Immediatly almost 200 more missles were fired from the Ragnarok alone. Hundreds more follwed from other missle cruisers and destroyers.

The battered Vetalian fleet, now bolstered by the Shakal reinforcements as well as their own, began to regroup and prepare for coastal bombardment. The Admiral spoke briefly before returning to the bridge windows to watch the battle.

"Deploy our planes and AA defenses to take care of the remaining SL fighters. Order the battleships, cruisers, and our dreadnought to begin bombardment of the coastal defenses."

Upon issuance of this order, the Vetalian fleet began to regroup and arrange itself in to combat formation. Pilots and technicians ran across the deck of the aircraft carriers, preparing planes for launch. On cue, the first salvos of artillery and missile fire began to pound the South Lizasaurian coastline and its stationary defenses.

IC:

The ground troops went to their bomb shelters and took cover to ovoid the attacks.

Just then a large cloud of planes in the distance was spotted bearing the Kraigel's golden star, the silhouettes of many ships appeared as well.

"Sir, ground bombardment isn't doing much. We're just not able to cause a lot of damage to their fortifications."

"Is there any infrastructure? Roads, rails, power lines? Target that if you can't hit their troops. It'll slow the arrival of reinforcements." The ships shifted targets and began hitting any coastal infrastructure they could find.

Admiral Starov looked and saw the approach of additional forces.
"Who the hell are they...Lieutenant, get me an ID on those forces that are approaching!"
"Some of them look like Kraigel, sir, but I'll have to wait until the ships are closer before we can establish contact. The battlefield's disrupting our communications something terrible."
"Alright, keep an eye out, though. The last thing we need is a SL fleet pounding the hell out of our flank."

IC: The units got closer and the Fascist Dominions banner was noticed on wings, fuselages, flags on the ship and some paint on the decks. A Vetalian saw a sailor doing the nazi salute on the deck to a superior officer.

"Sir, it appears that they are from the Fascist Dominion."
"Excellent! Send our greetings to them and raise the signal flags to welcome their arrival."

The Admiral was exceptionally happy at this turn of events...it couldn't happen at a better time. With the addition of these forces, they'd really begin to pound the SL forces still left on the coast.

"Open up a channel with their forces, and I'll speak with the commanders of the fleet to plan our next move."

IC:

The Kraigel's head ship sent a message via morse code.

Clear the ground forces on the beach then accumalate the forces there, then we will all march in as one army and claim vengeance against these scumbags, leave the buildings in Lividston unspoiled so that the Kraigel's future capitol will be presentable. Heil Kraigel! Long live the Fascsist Dominion

The units drew closer.

"Kraigel's men sound ready to rip in to these SL scum. Lieutenant, send word to the ships to continue their bombardment, and tell the landing crews to prepare to move in. I will contact Shakal and tell them to prepare their own forces to move in."

OOC: And now I need to go to bed.

(OOC: Out of curiosity, would Kraigel have military bases (or in lieu of that cities under his control), that I would know about?)

IC:

Admiral Montgomery had people watching the skies and horizon as the carriers continued to approach the islands. He was worried about how quiet everything was. Worried him greatly. It was the calm before the storm, and he knew, before this storm was over, too many good men would be dead.

"Sir, a message from the mainland forces." The lieutenant startled him. He had to stop his mind from wandering like that.

"Thank you lieutenant."

Dear Admiral Montgomery

One of our major bases within range of the islands has become available. This base has at it's disposal 3 squadrons of F/A-15Ds, one wing of CF-14s, and 6 wings of CF-12Bs. In addition to this, they have 18 CA-10s, and even 6 CB-10s. No EMP or CB-F10000 munitions have arrived however, so conventional bombs will have to suffice.



"It seems things are looking up..."

"Sir?" The lieutenant looked puzzled.

"Oh, sorry. Lieutenant, thank you, and you're dismissed."

Looking up indeed.

IC: The Blitzkrieg has begun, with utter cruelty and anger the fascist troops stormed ahead, many were gunned down by the armored infantry but as soon as the tanks arrived some armored infantry began to fall.


Fascsist Sergeant: Comrades we need more support!

(Reconaissance Ilsands)

An national socialist officer walked up to a Reconaissance soldier who was burbling on the ground in his own blood. Wit ha sadistic look in his eye he walked up to one of his troops.

Officer: Give me that! *grabs rifle with bayonet rudely out of his soldier's arms* *stabs wounded enemy in the chest* The age of freedom is over! The time of totalitarianism has come! Lets get moving.

Dead men, women and children litter the bomb battered streets and crumbled remains of buildings as wounded soldiers on the enemy's side, dead soldiers littered the place as well and the occasional burnt ruins of vehicles were found in the streets and military bases that now belonged to the Kraigel.

IC:
After too long a trek on the sea, it was finally time to get blood for blood. And boy did the forces thirst for the blood. This fight was no longer for Jefferson. He would indeed be appalled by what he would have seen. It was for the power hunger of a man comfortable back on the home front. None of the soldiers saw this. Not even Admiral Montgomery.

==Aboard the CNS Confederacy==

"Admiral, we are in range of their fleet."

"Excellent. Is the same true for the Grayskull."

"Aye, sir."

"Perfect. All ships to battle readiness. Send message to the continent requesting the CA-10+s to launch. We attack as soon as they hit."

"Done Admiral."

==On the continental air base==

All 18 CA-10+s took off from the air base along with their tanker planes.

They got their last refueling before the strike as close as they felt safe. Not long after, they made their final adjustments toward the target and activated the secondary engines, propelling the craft up to Mach 2. They knew they would have only one run over the target, and they lined up in a way to do the most damage with it. Each plane had 16 1,000 lb bombs at it's disposal, for a total of 288,000 lbs of ordinance. Not a tiny amount flying towards the ships at Mach 2. The only problem was the lack of torpedo bombs, and the inexperience in fighting ships. These were men who trained exclusively against ground targets. They had no idea what was a critical component, and what wasn't. So, they dropped their bombs and hoped for the best.

IC:

Bombs were raining down hitting random parts of the ships, other missed and hit the water, the officer on a ship was shouting in South Lizasaurian to the crewmen nearby to fix the damage and for the crew members in the AA turret to start firing at the planes. Flak and a few missiles were fired in the direction of the planes.

IC:

The other fascist ships noticed the enemy approaching and began firing their AA as well but in a conservatively to save ammunition.

(Sorry about the long time I missed your reply until I just now noticed it...)

The CA-10+s wondered if they did any damaged, but were relieved to see how little AA fire came at them. It wasn't until they got to the refueling point that the commander realized that they were one lighter.

==Aboard the CNS Confederacy==

Admiral Montgomery ordered the attack the moment the CA-10+ aircraft launched their bombs.

The ships had moved into position, and the Jefferson, Remembrance, Siege of Eternos, Randor, and Keldor, along with the 15 Bergstein Frigates began launched SS-N-1 "Catapult" missiles, while the Akula-II Class Submarine began hunting for targets. Additionally, the Jefferson, Remembrance, and Siege of Eternos began firing their cannons at targets of opportunity

Finally, the Confederacy began launching it's CF-14 fighters, 4 squadrons of which were equipped with the AS-N-2 "Ballista" anti-ship missile, and another 4 squadrons were equipped with torpedo bombs. The remaining 8 squadrons were equipped with a standard AAM package, to defend against the fascist retaliation.

On the other side, a similar, if slightly less impressive, event was occurring with the Grayskull Carrier group, and their Treaty of Tar Valon, Battle of Liilte Hong Kong, She-Ra, Lion, 15 Bergsteins, and 8 Akulas.

By then the Kraigel was evacuated behind friendly lines from the remaining ship by helicopter and was able to land on another fascist ship which geve the Kraigel one stealth bomber to evacuate him back to his lands.

Kraigel's men continued to be slaughtered on the beach by the moderate's miniguns and chainguns. The men prayed for deliverance from Vetalia and Shakal. The tide was turning, the fascist forces moratorium began at the beach, there was no military movement, all the fascists were pinned down except those in the air or on the sea.

IC:

Kraigel's force was completely eliminated on the ground however his forces continued to advance on the Reconaissance Islands and Toori territory. The Kraigel was mispleased.

Kraigel: How dare these lazy worms call themselves soldiers! *shakes fist in air* They pledge to support me and when my forces need it most they cower away to the ocean!!! *hits desk hard* I demand that the officers that refused to give me aid be shot! I will accept that as perfect amnesty! Now go!

Messenger: Yes my Kraigel!

Meanwhile moderate forces regrouped on the shores and began firing more, anti-air artillery, missiles and mortars at the enemy units.

Commander Macked sent an angry message to Kragiel saying "We had a civil war going on, and we had to deploy troop's to keep the peace, would you rather us fall into chaos?, I ask you, your demands are totally unreasonable, we sent you support in form of our Special Operations Unit to your HQ, you should have them soon.." He was furious, how could the Kragiel not understand his country's situation...

To Command Macked,

I have been away from Calizorinistan for a while, I've been in my portion of South Lizasauria focusing on the campaigns. Calorinistani soldiers have not done anything to anger me. It was the navy accompanying my forces. Sure they cleared out the enemy navy and air force but they refused to give me the back up they pledged they'd give me when my troops most needed it. Now Lividston remains in the hands of the criminals who allowed our tragedy to happen. As a caring leader I shall help all nations under my dominion rise from any problems they are in.
