A thNews newspaper report...

"Child sex allegations have forced a second Dictatorial Advisory Board reshuffle in as many weeks. Dictator Christopher Buck was compelled to sack Education Advisor, John Dobson after accusations of molesting three 10-year-old girls in 1990. These events allegedly took place whilst Dobson was Headmaster of Redwood Primary School in New Portsmouth.
Current Headmaster, Annette Chambers, who worked with Dobson throughout his time at Redwood, said these accusations were "unfair, unjust and untrue". Chambers went on to say that Mr Dobson was a "well respected member of staff who was always held in the highest esteem".
The three girls who had made the complaint have permanent name suppression and are now in their late thirties. A police investigation is underway. Detective Senior Sergeant David Crosswell has stated that these allegations are fresh.
"Information regarding these accusations is being examined as we speak. This process began yesterday, and is expected to continue for a long while yet." Detective Senior Sergeant Crosswell explained at a press conference held yesterday.
"Mr Dobson has no previous history of this type of behaviour. These allegations are being taken very seriously - child molestation is a serious offence."
Child abuse and child molestation typically carry a prison sentance of 20-50 years. The largest sentance ever handed out in Bomble stands at 64 years.
John Dobson worked in and around schools for 18 years. He moved into politics in 1991 after leaving teaching at Redwood High School at the age of 38. His rapid rise to the top saw his appointment to Education Minister in 2004. He held this title until just last week, when he was changed to Education Advisor due to the governmental reshuffle. His future remains unclear.
A new appointment to the role of Education Advisor is expected to be announced by Dictator Buck some time in the coming weeks. The strongest candidate for the jobs seems to be 49 year old Bob Washington, current head of the New Portsmouth Education Panel."
