Street racing, once illegal has become one of the fastest growing sports in the country. At one time, kids with suped up cars dared down the empty midnight streets to prove themselves fast and fearless, risking against the authorities. The rev of the engine, the world a blur, nothing mattered but you and the car. From humble beginnings on dark streets, street racing is now embraced as a national sport with circuits and championships. Thunder Run: The street racing championship is held once a year across the globe, bringing the greatest racers together to compete for the Thunder Cup and more importantly: glory. The roads become more and more dangerous as competitors struggle against one another to gain an edge, sometimes through less than honorable means. This year, Thunder Run will change forever.

There are multiple reasons why many of my rps die. For the most part, my rps aren't related to NS and aren't action oriented (for the most part) and many people seem uninterested unless there is alot of action and that sort of stuff. Also, I am in the military so I don't have great amounts of time to dedicate myself to seeing an rp through till the end. Sometimes, I also get bored and disinterested if an rp's not going in the right direction.

Could you explain a little bit more?

What is the Thunder Run? Is it a sort of Gumball 3000, or is it just dragracing?

Can persons from NS Nations (like mine) also join in the Thunder Run, with vehicles produced in those countries?

Is there a limit to a vehicle class (e.g. Sportscars up to 300 HP)?

Will there be any other roles besides racer?

Yes, it's very similar to Gumball 3000.

Thunder Run is an annual event that takes place at different locations around the world. It is still in its' infancy. The organizer and creator of Thunder Run is a Brit named Nathan Cross, an adrenaline junkie and ex racer. The Runs are quite lengthy and regulations are laxed for the most part. There are checkpoints but no boundries on how to get there, no set roads that you must follow. This Run is only the second. The last one was highly successful and quite dangerous. The first one was dubbed Thunder Run: Japan. The second one is called Thunder Run: Europe which begins in Moscow, Russia and ends in Lisbon, Portugal. If this one goes well, I'll do the prequel.

NS nations involved...Sorry, I'm looking more for real world but your nation, Van Luxemburg basically sounds like a real nation. NS cars...will be accepted unless there some sort of death car that goes from 0-100 in one second or anything like that.

The main plot revolves around the Russian mob attempting to get a piece of the action in the Thunder Run and entering their own racer and sending a team to sabotage the other racers. There will be various sub plots and storylines. You can be just about anything from a Russian mobster to a reporter to having your own crew and anything in between.

I'll have a few more characters added in besides my main character as well.

The race will run through several capital cities of Europe which is where the checkpoints will be with mandatory rest areas along the way:

He is accompanied by a small team of mechanics from the Grand Ducal Palace's garage, aswell as several guards from the Grand Duke's private security forces. He has been training extensively on the Van Luxemburgian Autobahns, aswell as local roads. He is using a navigator annex bodyguard, going by the name of Angelika Jaeger, a female ex-Special Forces operator now also employed by the Grand Duke's private security forces.

Thanks for the heads up VL, my up load progran apparently glitched for a second. It works now.

And, yes the AMX 3 really does exist - the history and specs are accurate given the addition of the front spoiler, the alternative engine offered by AMX ( and the specs are for that 401 done as the factory offered stock version, not a tuned or modified engine. ) Some of my information on the history and such comes from third parties for which I have no written cross refernce.

Bio:
Clive was born and mostly rasied in the infamous Thrid Ward in Houston, the son of a single mother. His father had left when she was still pregnant, and Clive has always been wary of the idea of relationships.

Always aware of the poverty conditions surounding him, Clive decided at a young age that he would not allow his life to go the same way. He made sure to work hard in highschool, having little in the way of social life, and it continued on through college. He attended UT, majoring in Business Finance, and then managed to secure a seat at TCU's exclusive business school, earning his MBA, and further attending SMU to earn his law degree. He was lucky enough to be in the proverbial right place at the proverbial right time, and earned a spot as an associate at a high profile investment firm in Houston.

One of the only things that had held Clive's interest outside his school work was racing, both legal and illegal. He followed the greats on TV: Formula One, WRC, 24 hour endurance racing, and even NASCAR. Illegaly, he has always been heavily involved in the Houston and Dallas/Ft. Worth street racing scene, often finding himself running from the police in the respective cities. With his well paying position, he is still heavily involved in the Houston street racing scene, and is known for his ownership of a Toyota Supra Turbo, a BMW E46 M3, a tubbed out 1969 SS Camaro, and the car that he will be racing in this race, a heavily modified Twin Turbo Dodge Viper.

Clive is not one to take loosing lightly, and will push all the boundaries he can to win. His car is not only equiped with a Heffner'a Performance Twin Turbo kit, but a full outfitting of devices in order to help him put the police far behind him.
