In Karas...
Lt. Cossack fell back with his squad, firing at the attacking soldiers.
"Sir, why the hell are these guys attacking us? We sent them money!" said one of his soldiers, aiming a rifle at an enemy.
"Who the hell knows, I mean, these guys are more insane then us!" said the lieutenant, pulling the pin out of a grenade with his teeth and lobbing at at the advancing troops. "But I know where we're going. All the remaining soldiers are regrouping at Port Faron. We're making our stand there." One of his soldiers was shot and spun around before falling. "Goddammit men, hurry up!" He looked back, and realized they were being boxed in...

Storm-General Beckenbauer grinned as he lowered his field glasses.
"We have them now!" He shouted in triumph. This had been the first large-scale deployment of Skgorrian forces for many years, and things couldn't be going easier. The Void Templar forces had been shattered at every turn, and now their last forces were falling back to a small and soon-to-be-obliterated Port.
"Orders sir?" asked an adjutant, looking up from his maps.
"Continue the encirclement," Beckenbauer ordered, jabbing at the suspected enemy positions. "18th and 19th SS Panzergrenadier should be enough to flank them, and with 5th SS Panzer pushing through they won't have anywhere to run except backwards. Now might also be a good time for 8th Air Army, have them saturate here, here and here," Beckenbauer jabbed three seemingly random points on the map. "Yes, it is random attacking, but it will throw them off into yet more confusion."
The enemy would find themselves boxed in on three front. To either flank would be a mechanised infantry division, whilst from the front an armour division would be rolling forward, shattering all who stood before them. The only way for the defender was backwards, back towards the Port...

The squad ran into a ruined building. The lieutenant yelled into his comm link.
"This is Lieutenant Cossack, we are in Karas and under heavy fire by enemy forces. We are requesting back up ASAP!"
"Thats affirmative, Lieutenant, the 1st Battalion has been rerouted to fight off enemy forces, along with some A-10 Thunderbolts. My computer is showing me 2 possible escape routes... number one, is move through the sewers to Port Faron, the other option is to hold out until 1st Battalion get here, then go with them."
"We will take the 2nd option command."
"Rodger. Be advised, if you cannot hold the city, we will have no option other than to shell it dust. There is too much vital tactical information and blueprints still in the Royal Palace."
"Affirmative control. Thanks for the heads up." he went over to a window and picked up his rifle.

The 19th helicopter wing of Kampfers is encircling above your defenses. Requesting permission to engage the enemy. With permission, the helicopters will deliver 500 kampferian stormtroopers to the battlefield, while other helicopters will engage in attack runs on the enemy. If granted, please mark your positions with infared beacons.

IC: "Sir! We are getting support from a nation called Kampfers! Command is telling us to lay down infrared beacons if we want the support!"
"Then do it now, you dolt!" the lieutenant yelled at the radio operator.
The privates let off the beacons, and blind fired at the enemies.

Alright, here's the fun part! James Muller thought to himself as his helo flew right into the thick of it. He knew everything he needed to do. Slide down the rope, find cover, regroup with his chalk, and secure the intersection. He looked out the side of the helo and saw numerous bubble copters swooping down on the enemy rear, firing miniguns and rockets like he couldn't believe. All of a sudden, it was his turn to jump. He turned, jumped out, and began his descent into one of the most hell-like warzones ever.

ooc: don't want to sound like a jerk, but in this urban warfare, the lines are constantly changing, and unless you had someone give you the infared marker locations, highly unlikely, you would not know where they are. Plus, 200 cruise missiles? You don't think his country has interceptor missiles? Come on man. Put some effort into it.
occ: This is the start, im waiting for his reply he has gone to bed...
Btw is there such a thing called Survellience, me and Void had already planed what is going to happen lol...

Cossack was yelling over the radio to the 1st battalion leader.
"Where the hell are you, and when will you get here damnit?"
"We'll be there in 2 hours, but we're beginning artillery fire now at the enemy units. Try to stay clear of them, ok?"
"Rodger, wilco. Just hurry up damnit!"
"Sir, the enemy are closing on our position!"
"Damn. somebody hand me the C4! If we go out the back, they'll have to follow us if they want us caught! Then we blow 'em to Saturn!"
"Good plan, but one problem. there's no back door."
"Yeah, but theres windows."
Void Templar
21-04-2007, 16:00
"Sir, theres no windows on any of the floors either. at least, none we can fast rope down from."
"Then come on, get up to the roof. Drop a beacon and call for helicopter extraction ASAP. I don't want to be here when the artillery hits."
The red smoke circled up from the flats rooftop, and in Lynsfield Air Base a Blackhawk lifted up, and began towards the capital.

"How the hell did those helicopters get there? Answer me now!" fumed Storm-General Beckenbauer as he stood before his sub-commanders. "Which one of you dolts is in charge of air security?" A Colonel rose his hand tentatively,
"Me, Storm-General." He gulped. "I've ordered a wing of Su-47s to close the air."
"And about time too," Beckenbauer snarled, slamming his fist on the map table. "Gentlemen, this will not do! We are at war, not pissing around on a Youth Legion Open Day!" Although the command tent was small, it was filled with the Storm-General's rage. A russle at the tent door brought in a junior officer and offered a welcome respite from the fury of the commander.
"Sir! We're getting signals of infrared beacons," grinned the junior officer. "It's the perfect chance..."
"...to attack!" finished the Storm-General, joining in the younger's man grin. Picking up a radio, he issued his orders.
"Von Strapp, that you? Excellent, I want a missile strike on the beacon locations. NOW!" Taking a deep breath, Beckenbauer put the radio on the map table.
"And how goes the assault on the port?" He asked, to which an Infantry Major spoke up.
"All forces report slow progress, but heavy casualties. Too many in my opinion," the Major offered.
"Oh really?" Beckenbauer was interested now, "and what would you have me do?"
"Stop the assault, confirm positions. Have our men into NBC gear, an easy task since they carry it around anyway, and launch our arsenal of bio and chemweps on the port. Seal the waterways and lock them in."
At the battlefield, any helicopters left would be swifly hunted down as Su-47 fighters screamed over the battlefield, eager for kills. Cruise missiles slammed into the beacon locations, hoping to catch out any lingering reinforcements. Enemy forces would also wonder why the onslaught of troops had stopped, but then would look up in horror as the sky was filled with airbursts. Taubun, Anthrax...these were just a few weapons being used on the holdouts.

Fuck, where did those fighters come from! James Muller screamed as the battle ensued. The fire on the street was nearly unbearable. Finally, Muller had had enough. Alright men, get into this house! I'm gonna need a operations center! They kicked down the door to a two story house and moved in. The family inside cowered in a corner. He moved quickly to the center and unfolded a mobile comm-center. As he got on the radio with Kampferian HQ, a small conversation ensued. "Now you're sure that the Excalibur System can fire at this distance?... With presicion?... Only the main cannon?... Alright then, show these fuckers who they're messing with."
Almost on cue, a beam pierced through the clouds and demolished one of the lead fighters. A cheer arose from the Kampferian troops. They knew that the big gun was on their side.

The helicopter hovered over the building as the men clambered up the fast rope.
"Get us back to Lynsfield, I'm taking some Raptors back here to shoot down the enemy interceptors."
"Sir, be aware, they are using chemical warfare."
"Two can play at that game. get Lynsfield to launch a squad of K-50s, load them with neurotoxic and tell our allies to get the hell outta there. Get artillery fire at all possible exits from the city so no enemys can get out. We're gonna crush them, boys!"
"E-Day..." muttered one of the privates.
The 1st Battalion leader, Robert Ivankovich, was shouting to his men from his ARV.
"Men, today is the day we from back. The occupation forces have butchered many of our population in cold blood, but we shall destroy them. We shall kill them, we shal rend the flesh for their bones, and we shall be victorious!"
The soldiers roared.
"Flamer Company, ready?"
"Aye!"
"Challenger II's, ready?"
"Aye!"
"Armored company, ready?"
"Aye!"
"Men!" he barked. "To battle!"
The first company charged into the city.
Elements of the S.A.F 57th Airborne Division (3 platoons, 90 men) were loaded onto a C-17 and prepared to assist the Void Templar forces.

TO: S.A.F 57th Airborne Divison, 3rd Company- Captain-Comissar Viktor Hark
From: Cmdr. Robert Ivankovich of the 1st Battalion
Thank you for your offer of assistance, and we request that you deploy your men around Port Faron. Be advised, Skgorria forces are known to be using chemical warfare. If you need to resupply your men when they land, you are welcome to some of the H&K XM8s in the armory. Thank you for your aid.

TO:Cmdr. Robert Ivankovich of the 1st Battalion

Thank you for the warning, although that might not be too much of a problem.
We shall be arriving shortly.

The C-17 had covered the majority of the distance to the LZ. Captain-Comissar Hark was sitting quietly while his men talked amongst each other.
"Pilot to infantry, ETA is 3 hours." A voice crackled over the plane's comm system.
The soldiers stopped talking as the heard the voice. The mood was now serious as men checked that the clips were fully loaded and they had all their gear ready.
Hark stood up and looked at them.
"Alright ladies and gentlemen, we are to land in some place called Port Faron. I have been warned that there might be chemical weapons used so double check your gas masks and other chemical gear. Lastly, last call for wills or letters. There is a few boxes over there for them. Understood?"
"Yes, sir!." The men replied.
Once the plane was in 30 minutes of Port Faron, Hark stood up again.
"Ok, you guys know the deal. Never retreat unless ordered. As some have seen, comissars aren't cute and cuddly...Although I must say I am quite good looking..."
Some soldiers laughed.
"However, I don't think we'll have to deal with that. Just know friend from foe, keep your eyes and ears open, and don't be stupid. I don't want those lazy gearheads from the 24th coming to hold our hands when we don't need them to! Now get ready to jump, and follow the standard proceedure for airborne insertion."
"Aye sir!" The soldiers cheered.
"Wonderful, lock and load!" Hark whispered and turned to watch the rear door of the plane open.

As the battle in the port raged on, a pair of X-02 Wyvern prototype stealth fighters waited high above the city some fourty thousand feet above. They were mercenaries hired out by Axe & Hammer Industries to assist in the battle against the Void Templar, and their mission was to pound their ground forces into oblivion whilst they panicked about the biological and chemical weapons being used against them.
"Corsair one to Corsair two. Commence the operation. Deploy all special weapons reserves on fortified enemy positions, and then proceed with close air support."
"Roger, flight lead."
The two fighters banked hard, pulling their fighters into a steep descent right above the port city, and they pushed their engines to nearly nine hundred mile per hour as they dropped from the skies. Once they cleared the ten thousand foot mark, they slowed to five hundred, and changed angles, peeling away from the city in opposite directions. Once they were two miles out from the city, they banked and dropped below five thousand feet, turning back toward the city. Each pilot sighted along their weapon drop point, and once they were within range at one mile, both fighters released their payload of cluster bomblets upon the city, specifically three miles into the city, away from the Skgorrian frontline.
Each fighters deployed nearly three hundred individual bomblets separately, each weighing in at 500 pounds each. They were specially made weapons from Axe & Hammer Industries, each bomblet made completely of C4 explosives with a thick thermite exterior, all encased a three inch steel casing that fragmented outwards. As they perforated the city, entire city blocks would be covered in ignited thermite, which ate away at everything like sulfiric acid to a single sheet of paper. The C4 explosions themselves would leave massive craters large enough to just barely hold a tank, and any unfortunate souls, be they civilian or military, that were caught in the open at the initial explosion would be perforated by steel fragments moving at hyper-sonic speeds from the concussive force of the blasts.
Both fighters banked towards the Skgorrian lines, moving behind them into the protective custody of the Skgorrian's anti-air weapons, and the fighters opened up a transmission to the field commander at the line.
"Land force commander, this is Corsair one. Bombing run is complete, and we are waiting for your men to paint specific targets for us. We've got enough missiles between us to make eight individual runs each."
((I took some time to estimate how much room the 'clip'-based missile launchers on the X-02s would have to carry missiles, and each individual launcher, in reality, would have room for four basic missiles in each launcher, giving them a total of eight missiles each.))

A tank rolled over the debris of a destroyed building, followed by a squadron of beserkers and war dogs. One of the beserkers looked around for enemy targets. Then the tank next to him exploded in a mess of flaming shrapnel. One of his squadmates was skewered through the stomach. The beserker snapped of his dead compainions dog tags and put them in his pocket.
"Men! Form up on me! Get out your rifles, and move over the roofs. I want to see if we can get the Hammer of Dawn to fire on the enemy main forces."
The beserkers were standing on top of a water silo on a skyscraper. The captain was looking through his sniper, and spotted an enemy unit. He screwed a laser nto the barrel of his gun, aimed and held the trigger. In space, orbiting the planet, a space station's alert blared.
"Get on the controls! Man the main cannon! And somebody press the bloody red button!"
1000 comet-class missiles screamed down towards the enemy units below...
Hark watched the red light. Any minute now it would change.
The troops made their last checks and uttered prayers.
The light green; show time.
"See you all on the far side!" Hark said as he watched his men jump, after all 99 men jumped, Hark followed.
The men assembled quickly. Squads formed a perimeter while the command squad assembled a strategy.
"We are five kilometers south of our DZ!" Hark muttered, "Get the teams ready, we are moving to the city now! We have time running against us..."
