Looking to test out Suppresionary Units...

I have been vastly expanding my military, especially investing in one of my more notorious intelligence networks/paramilitary organizations. What I'm specifically looking for is a situation like the beginning of the Vietnam war, where their is a large scale organization that has popular support but is waging asymetrical warfare against the incumbent power. What I'm looking to do is either work with the insurgents or the government and create something similar to the Phoenix Teams (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Phoenix) used in Vietnam. I would use intelligence officers and soldiers to help local forces create a system to identify and eliminate those supporting the opposition.

My purposes are two-flod here. Primarily, I want to test my paramilitaries against an insurgence, but I also want to show how brutal the Siapian military can be.

OOC: I am just curious, I just finished reading something called Killer Elite by Michael Smith. It posits they are using something very similar to Operation Phoenix in Iraq. There is a lot of interesting reading in there.

OOC: Never heard of the book, but I've heard rumors about operations like that from friends close to the matter. Essentially, what I want to create is something like the forces of Col. Kurtz in Apocalypse Now minus the whole deification aspect.
