The ship was designed in 1986 by Dimitry Orlav, the first units when completed in 1987. It takes around 7-9 months to build in Yaroslav Shipyards. This ship was designed to be fast and be able to out run all ships in its class. Because of it's great design it will see service until 2020, being upgraded in the process. The Danechka Class Destroyer has served in the Czechalrussian Navy for over 20 years, the naval department has ordered the construction of five additional vessels to add to the Czechalrussian Atlantic Fleet.

OOC: Its a WIP so feel free to make suggestions.
OOC: Looks interesting... This is in addition to the "Large Destroyer" design I suggested right, still a separate design? I could certainly order this if a nuclear plant were able to be substituted for/added to the gas turbines, since I'm trying to go all-nuclear as much as possible (even for my Coast Guard :p, which reminds me; what missile is the R-103 system on the Ulyanov firing? I plan to order some as "nuclear-powered cutters" for my coast guard along with some Vladimir SSNs, and figued I should know should I ever have pirate trouble or something...) and a mass-produced nuclear escort would help that out a ton.
However, the SSM load is far too low (can't tell about the Kortiks, but the RL Neustrashimy I already use tons of can fit four times the number of Urans in the same area; simply by pointing the tubes sideways rather than forward) and really must be improved. Also, you should indicate hull torpedo tubes since (using the Neustrashimy example again) the presence of Vodopad-NK indicates those should be where it's firing from. Aside from those, this is a worthy design too (especially if too many "Large/Battle Destroyers" ends up breaking my bank...:headbang:), certainly for wartime production since it's so economical and reliable. Good job, as always.
EDIT: Oh, BTW, might you be able to add guidance radar(s) for S400F to the "Large Destroyer" idea of mine as well as the large cruiser? I figure that I'll be creating separate single-ship/single-escort groups within the larger fleet (e.g. 1 "Pyotr Velikiy" BBBN and one "Sissoi Velikiy" DBN); so having an area-defense-capable destroyer makes sense to me (to counter all those Aegis ships out there), even if its own missiles are normally restricted to Kinzhal/Kashtan with S-400F as an option if fewer antiship missiles are carried to compensate for the VLS space used.

Nice ship, but waaayyy too fast for that displacement and horsepower. Either seriosly axe her speed (down to around 40, tops), or go insane on the horsepower.

Official Dominion of Vetaka Diplomatic Message:
To: Yaroslav Shipyards
From: VDF High Command
Subject: Naval Acquirement
The Dominion of Vetaka being an island nation requires a Naval Combat Force that is Confident, Capable and Diversified. Also due to the outstanding success of the Peter the Great Class Battleship the Vetakan Government is extremely interested in securing an order for a number of these ships from yourselves. In total the Dominion is looking to secure a provisional order for 20 of these Destroyers. They would join the Vetakan 1st Battlegroup of the Home Fleet as it is known.
As such we transfer the required funds into your pre-desiganted accounts immediatly.
Thank You
Yours VDF Supreme Operational Commander Stone

we would like to purchase 12 vessels and the Money will be wired to you as soon as we get a Reply from you.
I would also like to switch the armaments to include:2x Ram Launcher and Harpoon Missile system and one SM-2 Standard Missile Launcher and One 127 mm dual purpose gun and ARSOC Missile Launcher.

I'm not quite sure it can be refitted with nuclear reactors, I can experiment though. As for the R-103 on the Ulyanov Class, I'm not quite sure since that was one of my early ships. I have the stats for it someone I'll let you know when I find them. Your recommendations have been noted and I plan to modify this vessel. Thanks!:)

Cool man. *thumbs up* I think the belt is excessive though. Should really be like 50-60mm.

OOC: True, but I left that alone since destroyers capable of handling cruiser fire at least from longer ranges rate a serious "me likee!":D That's what my destroyer suggestion for him should have (when it's done) enough armor to handle one of the Crown Imperium's light cruisers' fire, whatever the destroyer's planned three twin 135mm DPs do or don't in return. My rating for such a design (like the Didos or SP40s, the latter being the basis for the suggestion's overall form) would be "Large Destroyer" or "Battle Destroyer" for a reason, after all.:p

heh... my conception of battle destroyer is totaly different from yours ... :p
anyway, if you're interested, my light cruisers have 220mm guns.

OOC: O... RLY... Kewl:cool:, but I was looking at the Terrences when specifying the design actually. If they're old now I can entirely understand; actually "Large Destroyer" makes most sense but seeing the B in 'DBN' might make some buyers go for the more evocative usage and it's their call. Your take on a 'Battle Destroyer' (why am I somehow reminded of somebody's old "Corvettes with single 18" guns and nothing else..." crack in the latest of the innumerable "Anti-SD" threads?), my good man?

Emergency Request
As you know, comrade the Clandonian situation is grave and we may be forced to support our Soviet allies sooner than we had thought. Would you be able to supply us with 200 modified Danechkas featuring:
One 135mm DP gun of the same type as on Peter the Great
Moskits instead of Urans as AShM
A nuclear powerplant in place of the gas turbines, even if at the cost of some missiles...
The last is most optional of all, since although we would prefer a majority-nuclear fleet for the coming war we need escorts above all. If you absolutely cannot supply a nuclear version at this time, we will take the conventional version with our other modifications and simply wait to modify the drive train later. $75 Billion USD is ready for payment upon order confirmation...
