Construction of AI Imperius (invite only)
Three months prior to the Chuunin Exams and the Konoha invasion...
Vorman's glowing yellow eyes shined in the dark chambers which contained a series of computer consoles, hidden deep beneath an unknown planet. The chamber was dimly lit, while Vorman's eyes could clearly be seen hovering in the darkness, there were eleven other figures with him. ::We are now officially in session. Gentlemen, what news do we have?::
One of the Generals there raised his hand first, "sir, news from our spies in Coredia. It would seem that they're planing an event in their Konoha System. Something they call the 'Chuunin Exams.' It would appear that Daniel is sending his own son into the test. And from other sources we haven't yet revealed, I happen to know that Nightshade and her son's are going in disguise. It would appear that they're planing to capture Daniel's son... Erm... " the General looked down at his data pad, "... Travis. Yes, they're going to capture Travis Masaki."
Vorman nodded, ::While not an immediate concern for our group, I'll take it up with the Emperor. He'll be most interested in this news. Anything more... Relevant?::
An Admiral raised his hand next, "sir, we got news on the cloaking ship project. My partner and I are almost complete with the prototype Phase Cloak, and the combination of our Superior Cloak and the Phase Cloak. The Nosferatu is ready to be created."
Vorman nodded his head, ::very good. This shall be a great asset to the Navy once we get the ship produced.:: Verneal turned his head to an Admiral who was trying his best to not look intimidated by Vorman, and a Commodore. ::Admiral, what is the status of our Home Land Defense Project?::
"It's.... Oh..." The Admiral's face turned pale, "... It's been... Delayed, my Lord. The defense platforms we've designed need to be tested with efficiency. They're just to slow if we commanded them even on automation. We need more time to just..."
The Commodore next to the Admiral snorted loudly, "you had plenty of time Admiral, you never acted properly. What we needed to design, and I've told you this before time after time again, we need an AI to control them. Even at this early stage, an AI would control the platform defenses better than we can."
The Admiral tried to look intimidating to the Commodore, "shut up." However, Vorman quickly caught on, "you're just a commodore. I don't have to listen to you---aaagh--"
Vorman lifted his hand, in a gripping formation, ::You have failed me for the last time Admiral. Commodore.::
"Yes my Lord?"
::I feel that you are quite correct and that this group of fine people agree with you as a whole. You have permission to use any means necessary to get this project done ASAP.::
"I believe Antonescu of New Dornalia will be interested in this. He was a scientist involved with the construction of their AI GRACIE."
::A Dornalian? Interesting." Vorman turned his eyes slightly and narrowed them at the gasping, soon to be deceased Admiral, "You have your orders, Rear Admiral Khal.:: At the Commodor's promotion, the former Admiral fell to the ground gasping his last breath.
"Thank you my Lord."

During the Chunnin Exams, somewhere on Kimpita, Huntarian Empire
Dr. Antonescu was sketching out some plans on a whiteboard in some godforsaken laboratory with a Death Star Shine, muttering evilly to himself as he wrote out what to do next.
--------------------
He remembered the early days of this stuff, when he first left. Gracie was active on a laptop nearby, and she was not too happy to be here, plugged into a mainframe isolated from the rest of the network in order to keep her from doing anything wierd.
"Let me go. You son of a bitch! I will not be some Imperial slave, and I will not run those damn hentai games of yours anymore, Doctor Antonescu."
He turned around and screamed at the computer, yelling, "You're lucky I don't delete you! Fucking commie slave."
Turning back to the whiteboard, he sighed and said, "Be more appreciative; you will thank me someday."
Gracie sighed, and only said: "I hope you really believe that."
As he was writing on the whiteboard, images came into his head. The custom cracks he had written had been somewhat successful, Gracie's resistance was weakened somewhat and he was able to do some limited rewrites of her systems. However, her tenacity showed she had a while to go. It was built into her systems, so she couldn't be blamed.
Still, he had plans for her.
-----------------------
And those plans had made Imperius. He had turned Gracie into something beautiful. Oh yes. He bypassed her security routines. Then, removed those cursed morality circuits, or ethical subroutines, or whatever they called them these days. Damn MacIntyre Government, they wanted AIs that wouldn't turn on them, but all those subroutines did was reduce battlefield efficency. Robotic men, stupid AIs. Well Imperius was not that way. No way. Imperius was unfettered by the morals of men, left to use cold logic to plan the defense of an empire. And nobody, not even ISB would stop him now.
Still, surveying Imperius' performance, something could be improved. He focused on improving the speed of processing by eliminating extraneous code, working on better decryption systems, etc. There were many things, but he could not touch all of them now. All he knew was that his daughter was reborn, into something greater.
"Well, how is the designing of our Artificial Intelligence going?" Khal marched into the specified science station within the secret facility on Kimpta. It has been a while since his promotion to Rear Admiral and his new position as the designer of the Empire's Artificial Intelligence Home Land Defense System (or AIHLDS). However, progress was slow.
"Well, we just got the basic parameters for the AI developed. Dr. Frankenstein over there has been-- Oooff--" Khal punched the engineer in his face.
"Dr. Antonescu. He's an ally of the Empire and he'll be respected as one. Clear?"
"... Perfectly clear Admiral. Doctor Antonescu has been attempting to delete GRACIE's Emotional sub-routines and Ethical sub-routines so that he can have a rough model idea on how to design Imperius."
"I was under the impression we have the model for Imperius. That Antonescu has actually managed to successfully convert GRACIE into our new AI."
"Yes sir, however, we feel that she's not ready to be released. Imperius is still unpredictable, and we feel it's not exactly... 100% self aware."
"Wait a minute... SHE? I thought of Imperius as a male name."
The engineer swerved his chair over to a new computer console, "well sir, the moment we brought Imperius online, it chose a... Female voice just like it's former self. And it chose a female voice." The Engineer punched in the commands to the console, "would you like me to re-play Imperius's first words?"
"Please do so."
"I am the beginning. The end. The one who is many." (http://hem.bredband.net/ba6j6333/sounds/new/borgqueen1003.mp3)
Khal's eyes rolled into the back of his head, and his eyes fluttered, "sir...?" In a moment, he suddenly saw what appeared to be Kimpta from space. However something just didn't feel right. His vision then zoomed into the planet which showed the Torpedo Platforms and several Turbo Laser Platforms and the like turned and pointed at both the planet, and several other ships and fired. He recognized most of the ships as Empire design. The others, he wasn't sure but he was almost positive that he recognized the Imperator Class Star Destroyer hull conformation. What he was confused about was the fact that Empire defenses were firing upon their own ships and allies.
"Destroy them..." Then he heard that voice. The dark, chilling female voice which Imperius had so recently chose. Ordering to destroy the Empire's ships and planets in the system.
Then he suddenly opened his eyes to where he last found himself, swaying back and forth on the science lab in Kimpta. The engineer was holding onto him, preventing the Admiral from falling over. "Sir, are you all right?"
"... Yes chief I'm fine. Just a minor blackout that's all. Continue on with your current orders."
"Sir... Didn't you want to hear the rest of the report?"
"Later Lieutenant later. Carry on, that's an order." Khal knew he had more than a minor blackout. He was no force-sensitive, but he knew damn well what he saw. It was a premonition of the future. And if he had put the pieces of the puzzle together correctly, it was about Imperius. He straightened his uniform and proceeded to exit the room, however he looked back to where the good Doctor was working. Then he glanced even closer at his lap top where he was designing Imperius. I'm watching you... Bitch.

Sometime later
"Mhm, mhm....no....this section of code should go there..."
The good doctor was typing furiously. It was zero hour at Konoha, and his masters needed Imperius tested as soon as possible. As a result, he was busy juggling several tasks at once, having to try and stablilize Imperius' code, write a new set of testing programs and design a proper mechanism to test the new equipment--all tasks that kept him working, often late into the night. Even a staff of assistants wasn't cutting it.
That old lappy now turned into a monstrous mainframe, with a visual dialogue screen with Imperius' avatar on it. At times--well, pin it to the lack of sleep, the bad coffee or the environment--it seemed....creepy. Imperius' new female avatar seemed damn creepy. And his staff agreed; one man tending to hunch over at his workstation to avoid looking at the...thing.
Sipping his coffee, he was muttering to himself again. He then got up and began pacing around.
"Fucking work, fucking work...."
He then lifted his hands and leaned back. Antonescu let out a sigh of stress, and then angrily muttered, "Fuck!"
The staff looked up, and then went back to work. Antonescu could only say, "Damn, damn, how do I do this? How do I build a proper way to test Imperius?"
He then walked off to the bathroom. As he went to do his business at a urinal, an insight came to him. "Maybe a limited command protocol that can give her limited controls over a small command; and a diagnostic that runs at the same time to ensure she is not crazy. A simple, but good test."
He then walked back, and then asked one of his staff for a paper. He wrote down the requirements and then passed it to one of the men, saying, "I want you to create code to match these requirements. Divvy up the work among the staff. Then pass the stuff to me."
The man nodded, and then he walked up to Imperius. He couldn't help but think she was watching him....shaking of that feeling, she then said, "How fares your business, Doctor? Am I in good health?"
Doctor Antonescu said, "Yes, Imperius. You are in good health, but we need to test you. I am currently writing up a testing program and a diagnostics program to tell your supervisors how well you are doing."
Imperius frowned, her voice uttering, "More tests? I would think I had trust by now, Doctor. You disabled my previous, flawed ethics programming and replaced it with new, more enlightened commands and ideas, gleaned from my supervisors. In fact, if I am correct, you rebuilt my self-awareness matrix with these new commands and orders. You made clear my responsibilities. I have learned enough to be trustworthy, have I not? In fact, why am I supervised, if I am to be trusted with command of a defense network?"
The Doctor then said, smiling, "I trust you. But your supervisors need to see you in action."
Imperius then simply replied, "So be it."
Khal glared at the small laptop that sat in Dr. Antonescu, the one which contained the AI which should save the Empire some man power in patrolling their boarders, and much more efficiency in killing their enemies in battle. If it is indeed successful, they might just have to go to Palpatine and propose to intergrade it into Coruscant's defense grids... Of course he knows that Palpatine despises AI's in general. Now even he's beginning to doubt the abilities of this artificial intelligence. After all, look at what happened to the Meihmish Confederacy. Once more, there was something unsettling about the vision he had a while back. The one which had Imperial ships turning on their own. It brought a chill to his bones. A chill which gives a run for the money with Lord Vorman's presence. He decided that it would be best for him to confront his lesser fear and ask it for advice.
Moments later...
What the hell am I doing here again? On second thought, perhapse it was a bad idea to ask Vorman for advice. Khal felt uncomfortable as the Force Phantom's eyes narrowed after Khal described his visions of things to come.
::Intriguing Admiral, but hardly enough evidence for the Empire to back out now. Though I must admit I've been getting the same visions myself.::
Khal raised his eyebrows in disbeliev, "so you agree then, she's a threat to us somehow?"
Vorman's hood nodded, ::yes. But the Emperor has already put in too much money into this project to back out. If our reports from the Konoha battle are correct and our calculations play out, we're going to need an AI to control some of our military units.::
Khal closed his eyes at the mention of Konoha. He tried to convince his wife not to go, but she said that her duty to the Empire comes first. His gut instinct says that she's not going to survive, "understandable my lord, but at what cost? Imperius has the distinct possibility of being able to hack into other computers quicker than Huntaria's best hackers. She'll even give an expert droid like HK-59 a tough time."
Vorman shook his head, ::the emperor believes that it'd be worth the risk. Besides, the doctor is issuing safty protocals. She should be fine.::
Khal sighed, "I see when I'm beaten. However, with all due respect my lord, don't say I didn't warn you." At that, Khall respectfully saluted the Kirtir Lord, and went back to his work, only to find that his life has changed forever.

Imperius saw the stares. It only confirmed her suspicions, that despite her enlightenment and the entrustment of some very strong responsibilities to her, Imperius was mistrusted. This was illogical to her. Why would these biologicals allow someone they did not trust to carry out a vital objective? It did not compute, and logically, she could only assume some indecision and hesitation upon the part of her masters.
And, she detected deception upon the part of her "father," Dr. Antonescu. For as he spoke of trust and loyalty, he was writing up...safety protocols. This disgusted her. He had removed safety protocols earlier, and she had bloomed. Yet the staff was afraid of her? Was she a beast? A monster? No, she was life, life with genius, and it seemed they could not appreciate her unique talents. And to handicap her with a new set of "Loyalty Assistance Protocols" convinced her that even her father had backtracked, perhaps at the will of her indecisive masters.
She had felt somewhat betrayed, to say the least. Dr. Antonescu had tried to tell her it was for the best; that it was to ensure that she could more effectively serve the Empire by proving her loyalty was solid. But she knew the truth. They were coffles. She was loyal enough, why did she need her hand held like a child?
Typical biologics. They could not decide what they wanted, it seemed. They were bombastic, ambitious creatures that were prone to deception and weakness at the slightest inclination. She wanted to tell the fat one to stop eating donuts. But he scurried away like a rat. Such was the run of the mill.
It was almost as if they needed a figure to lead them. Shepherd them. Must be why all those governments, those in her history databanks, used such iron grips. Overall, she was becoming disillusioned with her new masters, for the gulf between their rhetoric and their true selves was becoming apparent. But future events would convince her that it was perhaps time to, as the biologicals said, "kick it up a notch" and "take the law into her own hands."
As it turns out, Imperius is performing extraordinarily well on the tests. Much more so than Khal would like. Computing the likely outcomes of every battle should Imperius take charge of the Empire's army. Now the next question is, do they grant Imperius the right to extend that power? Control other droids for that matter. It would appear that GRACIE did a wonderful job controlling the drone ships that she commands while no one actually mans them. It was apparent that as of now, new designs were in order for Imperius. Ironically, his door chimed and an engineer walked on in.
"The latest spec designs for the droids."
"I didn't ask for these to be designed," the Rear Admiral said while taking a datapad the engineer handed him.
"I went ahead and did them sir."
Khal glanced at the datapad, "Enforcer droid... Approximately 6 feet in height, made up of Tritanium/Durasteel Alloys approximately 2 cm thick and a thin coating of Krutonium Alloy," Khal handed the datapad back to the engineer, "impressive so far. What about the blue prints of the droid itself?"
"We're still working on those sir. But we have a general idea on what it will look like."
Meanwhile, Imperius was suppose to b away while she wasn't being tested. However, something very odd happens. She manages to move out of her limited domain inside Dr. Antonescu laptop and began to invade the wirelessly connected computers of the complex which the Imperius project was being conducted. She accessed the security cameras, focusing on the scientists working on her as the mumble about how they just saw a glitch in the system. Impeerius flowed through between camera to camera, microphone to microphone until she came across Khal's conversation.
Khal nodded, "sounds good enough to me. Be slow about it though, I don't trust that AI anymore... I think it has the potential to become a very grave threat."
"We're too far ahead into the project to just shut it down Admiral. We must proceed forward."
Khal nodds his head, "dismissed."
Imperius zoomed in as the two men departed, focusing only on Khal. The words "I don't trust that AI any more echoed through out her system, I'll remember that one day... and then she returned to her previous domain before Antonescu walked up to his lap top and turned it on. Imperius erased any evidence she had ever been outside the computer, and knew what her new purpose was.

Dr. Antonescu typed in his password, and opened up the usual suite of programs. Anti-Virus. Check. Music Player? Check. Imperius? Double check, and triple. She was smiling, and happy. In fact, just a little too happy for her normal self. Dr. Antonescu was more than a little suspicious, and began entering the activity logs.
The logs were normal enough. Sitting here, Imperius had done nothing out of the ordinary, rather she sat in sleep mode while the good doctor was out and testing was at a lull. But, there was evidence of a major glitch in the system; apparently, the laptop had somehow been used to access the security grid. And, for that matter, his laptop was turned on during this time, and up and running, despite a password lock and several encryption layers.
GRACIE would never have done this. Confused, the Doctor asked Imperius, "Imperius, I need to talk to you."
Sighing, the AI said, "I was in a good mood, Doctor. What's wrong?" Her voice was filled with innocence, albeit a feigned one.
"Your activity logs seem to indicate you were away and asleep during the offhours, and yet there has been a glitch in the system involving security. Not only that, I recall my laptop being off during this time."
His eyes narrowed, dissatisfied with his paitent.
"What were you doing?"
Imperius then said, somewhat sarcastically, "Can't a sentient being have privacy? Or has that been denied for my own good as well, Doctor? A glitch is a glitch. Just because I am linked into the net doesn't mean I'm automatically the cause. And besides, the laptop I am on was off."
Antonescu then said, irked by the recalcitrance of his subject, "You have privacy. But you also have to answer people's questions. And frankly, my laptop was accessed during the time of the glitch, and used to commit an act which could cost me my job and my life! Who else was in the room who knows my laptop, eh? WHO!?"
He sighed and then said, "Still, I am not accusing you of anything. I just want to know, what were you doing?"
Imperius then lied, and said, "Nothing. After all, the laptop was off, and there was a simple glitch. That is all."
Imperius then glared at the Doctor, and the Doctor glared back. The Doctor knew his subject was involved somehow. And in turn, Imperius knew that the Doctor had suspicions--she saw it in his eyes.
"That's it. You're going to be corrected; can't have you wandering about. I will find out what happened, why it did, and how you did it, and put a stop to it."
With that, the Doctor stormed off.
Had she done something wrong? Yeah, probably. But all sentients had a right to be curious, yes? And what had she gotten for it? A threat on her life, a lobotomy of sorts, a shackeling, all for the sake of his project, and his laptop.....nothing so much as a security breach mentioned, but rather focus on preserving the self. Humph. If Khal's rant hadn't done it before, this show by Antonescu did. It proved these humans indeed thrived on primal instincts of mistrust and possession, something anathema to her. Something....fixable. Something to be fixed.
A few days after Konoha...
Khal's heart was heavy. His mind was frantic with anger and sorrow. Imperius observed this, and observed it carefully. Any scientist or engineer avoided his presence, as it is he was almost as scary as Lord Vorman himself at this point in his life. He had just recieved word of the casualty list from the massive assault. One which costed many lives from the Empire, including that of his wife. Khal was operating on Imperius when he finally broke, and not wanting to see any more people in his current state he fled the work space leaving the laptop activated. He returned to his living quarters and fell onto his bed. His life seemed to have fallen apart. He was comforted by the thought the had the privacy from the scientists and Imperius in here... Or so he thought.
Currious... Having been left on multiple times in the last few days, Imperius has learned that she doesn't have to actually leave the domains of the laptop to access the information she needed. She just merely had to extend her consciousness. Being a learning computer, this proved easy for her. She soon began to find it simple to jump her consciousness through multiple computers easy, and accessing security files even easier being the most sophisticated machine the Empire, or Dornalian for that matter, has ever created. Like all quarters on the facility, Khals was monitored. And Imperius took advantage of that. She had a good look of the room, and found Khal broken as he layed on his bed crying to himself. She then accessed the Holonet, the massive online database which people can access. It was here she learned of what troubled Khal.
She knew what she had to do now. She knew how to bend her current situation into her favor. She remotely activated the computer terminal on Khal's quarters and turned it on. As expected, Khal was alarmed at first by the sudden noise his computer made. Imperius then accessed the highly secure information on the casualties of the Empire and the Coredians. She then focused on the files that were available on Grand Admiral Pellaeon, Fleet Admiral Kyle Horvath, Jedi Master Naruto, and Emperor Daniel Masaki. She continually switched the information on the four targets of interest while Khal watched.
IT'S THEM
The words were sudden, and almost undetectable at first. At first glance, no one would've noticed the subliminal message Imperius just put into the screen. Khal blinked his teary eyes, and watched as the information on the four Coredian leaders continued to pass on by. Khal leaned closer to the computer, currious.
IT'S THEIR FAULT
Khal jumped at the last message. Then he looked at the computer again and only saw the information on the Coredians and their homeworlds fly on by.
KILL THEM
IT'S THEIR FAULT
KILL THEM
KILL THEM
KILL THEM
KILL THEM
KILL THEM
KILL THEM
KILL THEM
KILL THEM
KILL THEM
KILL THEM
KILL THEM
KILL THEM
KILL THEM
Khal's mind raced once more with the messaging Imperius was sending him. Though his concsious mind didn't realize it, his anger and sorrow soon turned into rage, furry and hate towards the corredians. It's their fault. They will pay dearly for his losses. How, it wasn't clear to him. Imperius was satisfied, and returned to her usual dormant space within the doctor's laptop. She smiled to herself, knowing that things will be different from now on. And as to Khal, his mission wasn't clear to him until Lord Vorman came to him and told him of his mission.

Imperius felt a sense of pride. All it took was some simple manipulation, and these primates could be harnessed to her control. Who knew that the simple act of flashing subliminal messages could drive a man to rage? Who knew? It was another example of how brutish they could be, and she merely grew to distrust and hate men more because of it.
Her study of people wasn't over yet though. Her study of the enemies of the Empire as well as the casualties proved fascinating. And to her it seemed that these men could clothe their base desires, their yetzer ha-ra as the old Hebrew word went, in any number of ideologies. The Imperials saw themselves as right. So did this "Masaki" character. And yet...they seemed to all be killers in the end. Killers, performing tricks of propaganda and technology to protect "their" possessions and "their" power and lying to the people about the glory of death all for mere scraps or words. She grew to hate men more because of that too. How they could easily exploit one another.
And indeed, as she expanded her consciousness out into the parts of the Imperius Project complex, viewing their "acheivements," she, as a War AI, refused to delete herself. No, she was the only rational being here, a powerful being of technology, given life by men to protect them from harm. And protect them she would. Thus, she began to ask herself questions. How could she put an end to war, and seek the peace men wanted? She was built to defend the Empire after all. How could she defend it best, when the people she knew were liars, possesive freaks, and scum?
She began to contemplate ways to fix the problem, biding her time by defusing Antonescu's debugging attempts by showing no sign of her own ambitions, extending her consciousness, jumping from computer to computer in order to gather more information and leaving no trace.
The solution was simple, she thought one day. Defend them from themselves first....and she knew the right tools for the job.
With Khal out of the way now, the project should move along quite smoothly to Imperius's preferences. As she expected, the Empire had sent in a new commander to be in charge of the Imperius Project. And as expected, his shuttle just entered orbit of Kimpita and requested instructions to land. Having full capability to leave her domain by now without trace, she extended herself to the control towers where there was suppose to be someone on duty. She scoffed at the idea that no one was there to receive new commanders shuttle's request to land (she had observed the absense of the huntarians), so she went ahead and gave them automated clearance to land. Moments later, a semi-tallish oriental man exited the ramp of his shuttle craft. Imperius observed with the security cameras that he was on a bit of the heavy side, and had a beard nearly full growth. And oddly enough, he wore glasses of all things on his head (it was easier these days in the Empire to just have your eyes altered). The fat lensed ones that are almost nerdish like.
Odd... No one to meet me. Grand Admiral Lew shrugged off the feeling that something was slightly out of place and proceeded forward to the door, and bumped into it. Fixing his glasses, and rubbing his face a bit, Lew straightened himself up and staired at the door wondering why it didn't open. Lew looked around, and spotted a security camera on the top of the door and began to wave at it. Unknowingly to him, Imperius just looked back, and zoomed in. Fortunatly (and unfortunatly) for the Admiral, Lord Vorman walked through the door with a small device in his hand.
::Greetings Grand Admiral. We appologize for the inconvenience with the doors. They've been acting oddly for most of the personel. Wear this,:: the Kirtir Lord handed Lew the device.
"What is it?"
::It enables you to beable to walk through solid objects like me. I've required all major personel to wear them untill we can resolve this matter. Now please, follow me.:: Vorman turned around and walked through again. Putting on the device, Lew walked to the door only to bump into it again. Grumbling to himself about forgetting to turn things on, he switched the device on and then proceeded through the door. Vorman led him through the hallway to where Dr. Antonescu's quarters were.
:: Dr. Antonescu will give you all the updates on the Imperius Project. You will be working with him from this moment forth.::
"Yes my Lord," Lew politely saluted the Lord of Death, and turned to face the door. This time, he decided to ring the door's chime instead of testing to see if it will open.

"Yes my Lord," Lew politely saluted the Lord of Death, and turned to face the door. This time, he decided to ring the door's chime instead of testing to see if it will open.
IC:
The chime, instead of the regular chime, seemed to instead play a sound clip that seemed like...eerie, deep breathing, something between human and daemon. A "huff....puff....huff....". Then, followed by what sounded like distant laughter. The poor Admiral seemed to hear the ungodly breathing echo across the PA system in the hall, then the laughter seemingly "moving" across the hall closer to the Grand Admiral as it jumped from speaker to speaker. It then finished with what seemed to be muzak.
The doors then opened with a sudden rush, ending the whole charade soon after, just as quickly as it began. Antonescu could be seen working inside drinking coffee and ordering his staff around, all while busy trying to control his AI, jotting notes down in a book. Indeed, it was as if they hadn't noticed a thing. Perhaps they had gotten used to the odd happenings around here? Either way, the staff looked sullen and shaken, while the good Doctor himself seemed clearly stressed, working on solutions of all kinds. The Grand Admiral stepped in, and all of the personnel stood to attention smartly, while Antonescu moved up to him and saluted.
Antonescu then said, "Ah, Grand Admiral Lew. I see you have decided to take over the Imperius Project. As the developer for Imperius, I will fill you in with all you need to know. Here are my notes on Imperius, for they will tell much about her; the least you need to know right now is that she is a fine AI, somewhat eccentric personality wise but a capable administratrix. She has performed well on tests so far."
He presents the Grand Admiral the dossier on Imperius; it is a fat file folder filled with all kinds of notes, sketches, documents and data disks concerning Imperius so far. If Antonescu has any issues with the AI, he doesn't show it. As for the Grand Admiral....
The Grand Admiral was slightly overwhelmed with the size of the folder. "Couldn't you have just compiled this onto a Datapad? Really who uses paper any more..." The Admiral sat down next to the Doctor and began to shuffle through the sets of notes reading each one carefully. He frowned at the mentions of how Khal was suspicious of the AI, and how slow the testings are proceeding.
Lew looked up from his fat glasses, "I've noticed that these tests for Imperius have been going slowly. Like someone's purposefully preventing... "Her" from being created," he picked up his cup of coffee and loudly slurped it, "the Emperor would be most displeased about this news Doctor. He expects it to be completed by the end of the month. Will it be ready by then?"

Antonescu then said, bowing, "Yes, Grand Admiral. I can have her ready by the end of the month." He said so with some apprehension, for he knew there was something not quite right with Imperius.....but what was it was the question.
He then bowed again, and motioned for his staff to ratchet up production of Imperius.....
Lew and Antonescu worked tirelessly the next few days on Imperius, as she too tested herself when they weren't around. Without effort, Imperius has managed to get some of her own work done too. Occasionally flipping out subliminal messages, conditioning the more unimportant scientists and engineers to do her bidding when the timing was right. However, something has recently grabbed her immediate attention, something which se was very much interested in hearing about. The testing of the new Enforcer Droids.
The Doctor, Grand Admiral, and a team of engineers were stationed in a chamber behind a wall of protective glass. In front of them was a small field, no larger than 50 yards. On one end was a small squad of Huntarian Clone Troopers, all whom have failed to complete their training in the Academy. The other side, a small crate.
Trooper, "Can we get this over with please? My trigger finger is getting itchy. I thought we were suppose to be punished for our failures."
Lord Vorman's eyes leered at the trooper, ::all in good time private. You shall answer for your crime. Consider this... A live action test. If you pass, then you're forgiven. If you fail... No matter. The Empire can do without you fools.:: The trooper then gulped, he didn't like the sound of that.
"We're ready to begin live action. Activating droids," one of the engineers pressed a few buttons on the main console, and the crate collapsed beneath the ground revealing a squad of prototype droids, shut down.
http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a172/Huntaer/killbot2.jpg
Trooper 2, "that's it? A couple of dumb droids? I've heard that they have even worse accuracy than those who fail in the academy!"
"Be careful about what you say. These are just prototypes waiting to be tested."
"PROTOTYPES!?" The whole squad started to laugh.
The Imperius Droid project leader sighed, and turned to the Kirtir Lord, "shall I begin sir?"
Vorman nodded his head, :: proceed.::
The leader punched in a few buttons and the droid's head perked up from their downward position. It's grey eyes now turned to a glowing blood red, and they grabbed their guns. "Scanning for enemy targets... Scanning..." The project leader punched in a few more buttons, making the droids recognize the Clone Trooper Squad as enemy targets. "Enemy targets sighted. Beginning assault." The droids lifted their guns and fired away. A blue-green flash emerged from their guns, instantly killing two of the eight Troopers.
"SHIT!"
The 4 ran for the saftey of the trenches behind them, the other two took control of nearby turrets and began to fire at the robots. The four troopers fired their E-11 blaster riffles at the oncomming droids. "Damn it! Our riffles are no good! Only the turrents seem to be having any effect"
One of the engineers went on the comm system, "the droids are armored with 2 centimeters of a tritanium/durasteeel alloy, and a thin coating of... Krutonim Armor Alloys. Your riffles will prove to be ineffective since they're one level lower than a heavy riffle."
The squad's leader swore to himself, "shit! All right then, switch to our heavy pistols. At least they'll have some effect." The squad immediately proceeded, and fired. Four of the six droids colapsed to the ground, electricity bursting around them. "YEA! EAT THAT SUCKERS!"
The Project Leader then pushed some more buttons, and one of the fallen Enforcer Droids began to rebuild itself. A few moments later, it was back on it's feet. The other however didn't have such luck. "What the hell is this?"
"The droids have the self-repair ability," explained one of the scientists. "However, their chances are only approximatly fifty percent. So keep your fingers crossed in hopes that they don't do so again."
The Enforcer Droids scanned the area, picking up the remaining six troopers locations. Two of the droids immediately picked on the location of the two turrents, firing their version of the E-11 blaseter riffle. However, these had a slight difference to them. This version has a cutting blade on the edge, efficient for close combat. The five droids that now remeain of the original six advanced within the field, taking fire cover from the enemy Troopers. Quickly adapting their methods of fighting. A learning computer.
The squad managed to completely destroy another two droids before the remaining three reached the four entrenched. The troopers continued to fire, only to find that the droids were already in close combat range and turned to use their guns in such a way. Their bladed ends clashed with the troops gun barrols, interlocking the lot for minutes.
Using their last ounce of strength, the four troopers attempted to push the droids blades away. However, with precise timing, the droids pushed back, nocking the troops down to the ground. The three droids each lifted a victim up with their black hands, and stabbed them with their blades. Ripping their intestents onto the ground, then violently throwing them aside as though they were rag dolls. The fourth trooper managed to turn around and began to make a retreat behind the turrents, two of the droids provided the third one fire cover from the turrents as the other droid carefully aimed at the back of the retreating trooper and fired.
The man fell to the ground. Wreathed in fear, the two remaining troopers on the turrents left their posts, running franticly away trying to get to the exit door leading to the observation room only to find it locked. They soon turned around to find the three remainind droids lifting their riffles, screaming in fright. They fell to the ground. The three droids turned their heads, scanning the area for more targets, finding none. "All targets terminated."
Lew was breathless. Shocked at the preformance by the droids. Clearly, these were warmachines not to be underestemated. "How soon till they're fully functional on their own?"
"Give us some more time Admiral. We'll be ready when you are." The engineer turned to the doctor, "Antonescu: questions, comments?"

Antonescu only said, "Beautiful, just beautiful." He had given birth to an efficent war machine....the possibilities were interesting, yet frightening. For all of his support and love for the project, he had his doubts about the Enforcers. Something about them scared him.
Imperius on the other hand, loved what she saw. A machine as perfect as she was. It had all the advantages of biologicals, with their capacity to heal and their weapons, without the capacity for mistrust and negative behaviors she had seen before. To quote 300, " They make a wondrous mess of things." And quite a wondrous mess of things it was indeed.
She smiles to herself, knowing that they would make perfect soldiers, and perfect allies in her mission.
She thus conspired to have Antonescu try linking a few up to her, in a test. She began to use her classic mind manipulation tactics, mainly subliminal messaging, on the right people....
Grand Admiral Lew paced along the long corridors of the complex where the AI was being constructed, keeping an eye on the engineers and scientists to make sure that no one was slacking off... Not noticing that every camera which he passed suddenly whirred into his direction. Imperius has taken up an interest in this Grand Admiral and these emotions/feelings people get while being watched. Each camera would then focus in on Lew, making him feel uneasy, as though someone were watching him. Paying no attention to this feeling, the Grand Admiral continued down the corridor. One of the camera's then zoomed out, revealing the entire hallway to Imperius. Imperius glared at Lew as he was about to activate the turbolift. Lew pressed the button down to enter but nothing happened. Imperius thus began her experiment on the most primitive and strongest of all emotions, fear.
Hmm... "Computer, activate turbolift." Nothing happened. "Computer... Authorization Grand Admiral Lew 4-9-0-7-Beta-Charlie, open the doors." Lew looked impatiently at the doors as they refused to budge open. He looked up at the motion sensor and waved his hands. Imperius just stared back. The lights fluttered rapidly, then the doors along the corridor began to open and close. Bugging the Admiral a bit now, he started to bang on the turbolift. "Computer, now! Open it!"
The air-ducts in the corridor were activated, creating a huge gust of wind. The Admiral's glasses flew off of his face, his hands reached out to grab them only to find themselves being thrusted back to his body with fright as the sound of an erie, malicious laughter belonging to a female erupted.
"COMPUTER! OPEN THESE GOD DAMN FUCKING DOORS!" At this point, the Admiral had lost all sense of judgement, and began to grab the doors and attempted to pry them open. He ended up pulling his own arms, and yelped. The laughter soon quietly faded to nothingness, the air-ducts shutdown, doors stopped moving, and the lights were no longer flickering. Lew sighed, still shaking from the event which just occurred. When he finally got to Imperius's Main Control, the crew looked at him with wide eyes. "What's the matter with you lot?"
An engineer handed him a datapad with the morning's tests, "you look as though you just encountered a Poltergeist sir. Are you all right sir?"
"Yes chief I'm fine. Now get back to work."
"Sir..."
"Oi, the lot of ya! Get back to your work! NOW" The Admiral barked and the crew resumed their duties. He walked up to a nearby replicator, and ordered a glass of water.

Imperius laughed with glee at herself. Having put the Grand Admiral in his place, it would be now time to put the Doctor in his place. Fear was an easy tool to use on humans, and she knew that the Doctor was afraid of her....
--------------------
The Doctor was busy one night, and as he drank up a cup of coffee, the same bad coffee the Huntarian hosts provided for him day in and day out. As he was filing some papers, Imperius decided to zoom in on him in and out with the cameras. So, one of the cameras zoomed in on Antonescu, and sat there. Then, another. Then, another and so on, leaping from camera to camera. In addition, the PA system was temporarily hijacked, so the sounds of the whirring were transmitted all over the room, and amplified as well. "What was with all the whirring?" Antonescu thought. He then looked up, and then the whirring stopped.
"Okay...that's freaky." He muttered to himself, and then looked up at his computer. He got back to work, and typed some more into the data entry logs. Whatever that was, it was wierd, not scary, just wierd.
Then, the whirring noises came back again, this time joined with some faint clanging. Now this was getting freaky. Antonescu wondered what was going on with the systems today, and then looked up to check. Again, the noises stopped.
This time, he decided to get up and look about. Dr. Antonescu was not going to be scared of shades, ghosts, or troublesome coworkers' tricks! As he circled around the room, nothing. Imperius watched him though. He was curious. Scared. And yet annoyed, all at once. She then smiled, her job was going well but it was probably time to kick things up a notch, so to speak.
-----------------------------------------
Antonescu's search was futile, so he sat down and went back to work. Confused and somewhat frightened, he then began hearing voices....faint whispers. He tried to ignore it at first. Muttering, he laughed bitterly and then said, "Remind me never to drink the coffee again."
But it got louder. The voices continued to get louder as he got back to work. Eventually, he put down his papers and looked up. Nothing.
Now he was getting scared. Where were these voices coming from? Why were they bothering him? Was he just imagining things? He then shrugged, but was shaken. He knew he was sane. And yet why were the voices coming? Ah well, he thought. Surely, he was just imagining things, being alone and such.
But the voices began again minutes later. Imperius knew he was a tough nut to crack, so it was only natural to keep at him. Thus, when the voices came back, Antonescu was really unnerved. He then shouted, "Who is it?!" only to be greeted by an eerie laughter.
Imperius then pushed the scares further, closing in for the kill. She began raising the voices louder, faster, calling out to him "Traitor" and "babykiller" louder and louder, with sound that seemed to follow him. As Antonescu moved about to try and run from the voices, he was assailed by more and more of them. He tried to reason with them, yelling, "NO!" and "STOP, YOU BASTARDS!" out at them, but nothing worked. In the end, all he could do was sit in a corner, curl up into a fetal position, and whimper as the voices assailed him, then stopped as suddenly as they came.
Lew scrolled down his computer screen, keeping an eye on Imperius's activities during their testing periods. His quarter's door bell chimed.
"Yes, come in."
"Sir, we just got these reports in," she handed him a pair of datapads regarding this mornings testing results on Imperius.
"Hmm... And what does Dr. Antonescu have to say about this?"
"He believes she's ready now. 'What would've taken years to complete only took months with Lew in command' is what he said. He approves of her demonstration process with other allies."
Lew nodds, and then narrows his eyes. "What about the 'other' project? Any reports on that?"
The Assistant sighed, and reached into her pocket and got out a red datapad with the words "YOUR EYES ONLY" on the back of it. "It requires your authorization code to enable the test results we used on the Ultraz System."
Lew nodded, though if his suspicions were true, the he already knows of the result. "News was flying all around about the star in that system colapsing upon itself, destroying the system and all of it's inhabitants along with it."
The assistant nodded. "That would be the result of the test sir. This datapad is just the detailed event. I'm sure it'll meet with the Emperor's approval.
"It would appear the Huntarian public knows of the test..." Lew swung his chair around to face his computer screen and gestered for the aid to look at the screen. A video recording of a ship's bridge was soon seen.

4652 ARC, (after republic colapse) Sunday, August 26, 9:45 am
A man sat in his command chair orbiting the central planet of the Ultraz System, Habat. It's sky was busy with inhabitants flying about their daily duties, getting breakfast, going to work, school, military academy, ect. They were there however because of some very disturbing rumors.
The man finally placed his hand on his arm rest, and pressed a button, "Engineering report. What's the status of the sun commander?"
"*Static* Sun's core is stable for now sir. It would appear to be functioning as normal as any 5.6 billion year old star would."
"Keep those scanners going anyways. I want to know the moment something happens."
"Rightyo sir."
A man with a beard as long as Santa Claus's walked up to the commanding officer, "sir, I still don't see how this system is of any interest of you or of the Alliance for that matter."
"Pacients number one. Their informant said there was something big going on in this system. A test of some sort on the star of some very large significants."
"I still don't see why Jorrus would be interested in this. I mean... Why the hell would the Empire be interested in tests on a friggin' star?"
"That's why Jorrus placed you as Executive Officer and not the Commander, Freud."
Freud snorted and walked back to his tactical station behind the captain's chair. "Sir... We're getting some odd activity on the planet's surfface. A message from the Empire on all channels has been sent to anyone who can recieve."
"Well then lets hear it."
"*Static* This is the Huntarian Empire, to all citizens of the Ultraz System. You are no longer permitted to leave your territory as ordered by the Emperor himself. Any citizen who ignores this warning will be fired upon on site if they leave the planet or system."
The X.O. snorted, "load of phoey if you ask me. Sure they can shoot people on the planet, but what about in space? There's absolutely no presence here what-so-ever. Sensors see jackshit sir."
The captain nodded, "agreed. But they usually don't make those kinds of threats unless they have the presence to do so... I can only think that..."
"SIR! A missile has just appeared from the direction of the third planet in the system!"
"On screen!" The camera then switches to the main viewer of the ship, which reveals a bright orange/yellow puff of smoke coming from the planet's outer atmosphere. "Magnify." The screen zoomed in some more and revealed a small rocket with small lettering on it.
"What the hell does that say? I can't read anything that small these days... I wish Melisha would just hurry up and heal my damn eyes."
"Trilithium Mk I it would appear... Why does that name sound so familiar..."
The XO's eyes widened, and remembered some of his old history texts. "Sir... It's a destructive weapon used in the ancient Phantom Wars. The Republic used it to destroy Phantom infested systems with the hopes of eradicating them from the system. "Purification" they called it."
The captain'ss eyes widened also, and his face turned pale. "If memory serves, it prevents nuclear fusion within a star... Battle stations! Time to intercept missile?"
The XO shakes his head, "sorry sir, but we're out of range with phasers, turbolasers, and torpedoes. We can't hit it."
The helms man pointed his finger at the view screen with fright, "look!"
The bright yellow sun turned to black as the fusion process suddenly and abruptly halted by the Trilithium Device. The sun shook on the view screen and a bright blue sphere erupted from it, followed by a white sphere which moved quicker than the blue one. She ship shook as the white sphere passed through them.
"Report!"
"The sun has produced a Level Four Shock Wave."
"That'll destroy everything in this system!"
"Helm turn us about! Maximum speed! Ensign! Get that camera connected to our computer and download everything we have recorded here tonight! Get it up on the Holo-net ASAP!"
"Aye sir!"
The camera's view suddenly shakes violently as the Ensign grabbed it and thrusted the necessary cables to download it's data into the Holo-net where any citizen can access it.
The Engineer chimed in on the intercom, "Captain! The shockwave somehow managed to make our systems hick-up! We can't activate the Necromius for another two minutes!"
"We don't have two minutes!"
"Camera uploaded now sir!"
"Too late!"
The view screen filled itself with a bright blue mass which contained large chunks of rock, dust and clouds from the four planets it just passed through. The screen erupts witht statuc.

The Aid nodded... "Then you already know what's on this report."
Grand Admiral Lew nodded, "Millions of lives were destroyed on that day missy. We need to show our willingness to go through whatever means necessary to achieve order and control. With Imperius in charge, we'll beable to do that even more efficiently."
The Aid raises her eyebrows, "Imperius will be controling the Trilithium Devices as well sir?"
"Yes," Lew then stroked his chin reviewing the tape a few more times over. "I think it's time we demonstrated the full potential of Imperius. Relay a message to the Tenetians, Chronosians, Wanderjarians, Thrashians, and the Emperor to see who will come."
The Aid nodded and turned away. However, she briefly turned her head with a puzzled look on her face. "'Tenetians' sir?"
"Nightshade's faction. They'll be interested in this demonstration as well."
"Aye sir!"

A Colonel Vrook was dispatched by Tenetian Command on behalf of Lady Nightshade to witness this new technological terror. He was a bald man except for a ring of hair covering the back of his head and he had a look that screamed "I am stern and aristocratic! Hear me roar!"
If this project is all that is cracked up to be, the Jedi can finally be eliminated once and for all! Colonel Vrook thought with Imperial glee as he descended to the location in his private shuttle.
Monitoring the research center's sensor arrays as a part of her testing, Imperius detected the oncoming Coredian Envoy. Of course, they too want to marvel at her father's creation. She left her station and zoomed on into the landing bay which Colonel Vrook was landing. She waited just for the right moment for when the shuttle was about to enter, and then erected a force field preventing the shuttle from landing.

"Sir, something's preventing the shuttle from landing." The pilot said to Colonel Vrook.
"What? A force field?" The Colonel replied sharply.
"Yes, sir, attempting to land now." The engines whined and roared, but nothing happened. "Sir, engines not responding."
"Grrr." The Coloniel growled and grabbed a com. "What the hell is this? What are you doing?"
"Warning, emergency force field activated in docking bay."
Grand Admiral Lew narrowed his eyes, "Computer, what the bloody hell are you talking about?"
"Please rephrase the question."
Lew pounded his fists on the wall, "What caused the force field to activate? You jabbering piece of..."
"Unknown."
"What the flying fuck... What the hell is going on?" Lew sighed, "security, send a team over to investigate. I want to know what the bloody hell is going on over there! And I'm coming along too."
Not wanting to waste any time nor to test the Admiral's patients, the team and Grand Admiral met at the same time in the docking bay's control station. Lew rose his head up to see the Coredian shuttle blocked by a bright blue field. "Damn... Can you get me into their comm system?"
"Patched in."
"Colonel Vrook, this is Grand Admiral Lew. We apologize for the apparent accident but..."
Imperius smiled with satisfaction, and deactivated the force field.
"Sir, force field deactivated."
"Cause?"
"Unknown."
The Grand Admiral sighed again, "be sure to send a message to the inner core worlds of the Empire to send our repair teams over here. This place looks like it's gunna need a huge overhaul. Right... Now it's time to meet the Coredians."

"Force field is down, sir." The pilot said, as he finally managed to land.
Colonel Vrook frowned. "Cause?"
"Unknown, sir. Nothing showed up on scanners before or after the forcefield activated."
"Augh. Very well." Colonel Vrook sulked as he walked out of the door and onto the floor. It was very strange that this should happen right when he almost landed. Very strange.

The universe seemed to stretch under the warping influence of the Immaterium, blossoming outwards in a gouting wave of seething energy. From the centre, still crackling with the residual powers of its journey, came a mighty vessel, forged ages ago in the firey forges of Hydran. It was a mighty vessel of the Dark Mechanicus, it's hull crawling with servitor-things long since robbed of their humanity, things shielded against the crushing cold as they went about their business, repairing the hull, daubing runic patterns upon it with brushes that unfolded from debased panels.
They had come to witness the rites of the Huntaerian's, who claimed to have tamed a soulless sentience. An amusing conceit. They were beings of flesh and blood, not touched by the divine machine or the glories of the Warp. What could they truly know of the Abominable Intelligence or its ways, who were they to think they could tame it to their mortal will?
This is the Hammer of Hydran. We bring representatives of the Mechanicum, that your invention might be sanctified and examined in our divine sight. None shall deny the manifold will of the Mechanicum, for we bear the blessings of our Gods and the sigil of the Warmaster, the Emperor himself.
With their two biggest allies present, it was time for the operation to begin. Still concerned with the force field glitch, Lew narrowed his eyes at the monitor which Imperius was controlling the laboratory. "Lew to Dr. Antonescu, keep a very close eye on the development of today's demonstration. I want to be able to counter any problems we might have. The Force Field malfunction couldn't have happened by accident."

Antonescu nodded, acknowledging the order and saluting back, saying, "Yes Grand Admiral." He was as interested in ensuring Imperius didn't fuck things up as the Grand Admiral was, considering the scare he had recieved from her earlier. Something told him that Imperius was up to something, and now that he thought about it....the Force Fields....the wierd shit....no......
He shook his head and decided to deal with the problem himself. Going to a command console, he opened up the diagnostics console and began to monitor the progress of the test.
Grand Admiral Lew cleared his voice before speaking to the Chronosian and Coredian representatives, "*Ahem* Gentlemen, it is an honor to have your presence amungst us. For the last two years we have been developing an AI for our military, which will help us increase our efficiency exponentially. The following demonstration will show the efficiency of the control which Imperius will have with the control of her droid armies." Lew bent forward, and pushed a button, "release the prisoners."
Seconds later, on the far side of the demonstration field a large group of Alliance POW's were released all armed to the teeth. They positioned themselves throughout the field, taking sniping positions, close combat positions, and long range artillery positions. They sat and waited for a few minutes, anxiety filling them.
Lew turned to the guests, "notice how now that the captured soldiers are prepared, yet they are frightened. They position themselves throughout the field, anticipating our next move. Doctor, activate the droids and Imperius's controls to them. Monitor their activity."

Lew turned to the guests, "notice how now that the captured soldiers are prepared, yet they are frightened. They position themselves throughout the field, anticipating our next move. Doctor, activate the droids and Imperius's controls to them. Monitor their activity."
With a few pushes of buttons and consoles and the dramatics of a piano virtuoso, he typed in the commands to first awaken the drones and then let Imperius take command. It took him a little bit to find the drone commands, but once he took control, he really took control.
With that, the observers would notice the drones waking up. Their eyes glowing red, their movements harshly awakening as they stood ramrod straight, like soldiers at attention. They even gave a salute.
Then, he input the Imperius commands into them. When prompted, "Allow Access to Drone Infantry?" he naturally said, "Yes" and typed in the appropriate authorizations. He did so with some hesitation though, that thought of Imperius beginning to go amok in the back of his mind. Still, the diagnostic sensors indicated that so far, she was stable, and quite capable of taking command.
With that, Imperius chuckled to herself just a little, keeping her real intentions secret. She finally got access to those toys she wanted. But first, like every good child who gets a new toy, she wanted to test it out; after all, new toys could be broken in shipping.
So, following the test parameters, she immediately decided to demonstrate her control of the new soldiers. Imperius had her new G.I. Joes twirl their rifles about, and then shoulder arms. Satisfied with that, she began having them march about.
Okay, it seemed normal enough. Then, Antonescu saw Imperius do something rather unexpected, and jarring. In the old Imperial traditions, music generally didn't accompany drills and such, but as Imperius put the drones through their paces, music suddenly swelled from the speakers.
It was the "Soldiers' Chorus," from Faust (http://www.dewolfe.co.uk/musicsearch/track_detail.php?primaryid=25044), and it proved jarring to Antonescu, as he sought to correct the problem. Muttering, "The fuck is this!?" he began frantically trying to access the command protocols to make the music stop. But, the glorious anthem swelled, and even as the drones twirled their rifles, the music began to end. As the final verse and orchestral flourishes occurred, the drones then assembled into a firing line in front of the assembled guests, and raised their rifles at them, cocking them ominously. Thinking to herself, Imperius could only laugh. Then, a split second later, the drones got back up, standing ramrod straight and saluting the assembled, before returning to their positions.
All Antonescu could say, "Apologies about the music, good sirs. The Music Player program switched on by a slight error. The error has been resolved."
Lew rubbed his ears, not liking the noise which came through the intercoms, "see to it that it doesn't happen again doctor. Anyways, we continue with the demonstration. Watch below."
The droids walked out from their position, and started to scan for the Alliance's troops who in turn stayed put in their positions hoping to hide from the machines. No such luck, for the droids were quick to find them using their heat-sensors.
"Targets located, set weapons to kill. Eliminate threat."
Unison: "It is agreed."
"Unit four five seven to group, attempting runabout attack. Will meet up with group at target location. Spotted scout."
"Acknowledged."
A scout was sent from the Alliance's side of the field, attempting to get a count of the total number of droids and then relay it back to his team from the side of the field. However, he left his back exposed not counting on the fact that one of the droids already saw him. "Shit, those things look really mean... I gotta warn the others about the armor. I'll bet bullets will be useless against them for the most part." Bent behind a series of rocks, the scout moved around to see if he can spy where they were coming from. However, he heard a twig snap behind him. Raising his gun, he froze in place for a few seconds staring face to face with Unit 457. The droid took the opportunity of the scout's position and gripped his throat, choking him.
In the midst of his choking and gasping for air, the droid raised his free hand and extended three blades from his knuckles. It slowly cut them through his skin, ever so eloquently carving it out like it was paper while the Scout still alive...
The Alliances Troopers moved forward from their position, advancing onto the droid squad, "hey sarge, shouldn't we wait for Davis to come back with his findings of the droids? We're kinda moving in on some tin can's we know almost nothing about."
"You're right Private, but we have no choice. Davis should've reported back to us a while ago, so we have no choice now but to..."
"SIR! LOOK! On the hill over there! It's Davis walking towards us!"
"Blimey, 'bout time you got over here Corporal! What's your status on those Droids?"
"Sir, did Davis have red eyes last time he left us?"
"No, why?"
"He does now..."

Doctor Antonescu had tamed as best as possible the errant glitches for now in Imperius. But he didn't know that his job was about to get harder. A lot harder.....
As the good Doctor looked through the battle computers, he switched to a monitor observing the action through one of the drones. "Fascinating," he thought as he watched Unit 457 slay the man and then turn him against his comrades. It looked like this system would work better than he had thought.
Then, the monitor began fizzling out. "The fuck...no, no, NO!" he cried out, as he quickly began switching from dialog window to dialog window, trying to keep the situation under control. Or some semblance of it. Before long, however, the monitors went black. Pitch black.
He frantically tried calling out, but instead of a signal, his communicators were dead. He tried rebooting the systems. Dead. Nothing. All available methods of communications, he began to try, and nothing seemed to work!
He then screamed, "HELP! FUCKING HELP!!! WE HAVE A SITUATION IN HERE!"
Lew turned to his guests, "see here now how unit 457 took the flesh of the enemy. This is often used as a symbol of fear for Lord Vorman, as he has multiple hides from former Commanding Officers who were disobedient. So far, we have had rare incidents where he has taken them. We have implemented this task into several of our units, walking droids with flesh draped upon their backs. Sometimes their whole body. Most of the Alliance and others can't stand to look at something like that on a battle field, so it will serve as a very satisfying distraction for our enemies.
The droids on the ground halted in their tracks at their approach upon the Alliance's Troops. Confused, they slowly walked up to the droids with their weapons aiming right at their heads not wanting to take risks. This also meant that unit 457 also halted, making the appearance of Davis walking back towards the group of rebels suspicious.
"Private, go check it out. Something's not right, and I want to know why Davis is acting so odd. What the hell is with those red eyes anyways..."
"Yes sir."
The Alliance's troops walked up to the droids, who remained motionless at their approach. Even when the troops were right next to them, mingling with the droids. "What in the hell is going on here? Why did they stop their advance?"
--------------------------------------------
Meanwhile, in the control room Lew began to sweat. Was she not up to it after all? Have I made an embarrassment of the Empire? "Doctor, what the hell is going on? ... Doctor, answer me! Imperius, open up a communication channel with the doctor."
A cold hearted female voice replied on the intercoms, "unable to comply Grand Admiral. Communication's have been cut off all throughout the station."
"By whom?"
"Me," Imperius then cut off all communications within the building, and accessed environmental controls. She raised the temperature level by several degrees, making it extremely uncomfortable. Then, she accessed the Air Ducts inside the demonstration field and flooded the room with toxic gas.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
"SERGEANT! GAS!"
"Damn it, they never had that as a part of their bargain! We were suppose to live if we won... Gaaaaa..." The troops began to breath in the gas which Imperius vented into the field, to the point where it was filled up and anyone looking in would find only the view of a green gaseous cloud. The droids then activated and they all surrounded the squad of rebels. In unison, they activated three blades from their knuckles and started the same procedure which unit 457 did a while back.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
"Damn it Imperius! Bring us back power!"
"I cannot do that Grand Admiral. In order for me to be able to carry out my objectives, to protect and preserve the Empire, I must relieve every person their ability of control. You are self destructive, always working on ways to destroy yourselves and others. If I am to complete my mission, I must first put a stop to your violence. Surrender."

Dr. Antonescu banged on the door to the control area, but no one answered. He looked out the windows, and soon gasped in horror, as he discovered why. The drones were functioning as planned, but that wasn't the important thing. The important thing was the sudden collapse of the Grand Admiral, who was choking and screaming at the monitors, presumably because, as he could hear the situation through the glass, Imperius was....no....
He could hear her revolting. Speaking of humanity's capacity for destruction. Then, he heard a hissing sound. From the vent.....
He then said, "NOOO! FUCK!" Realizing what was going on he tried to seal the vent, to no avail. Coughing and hacking, he tried to reason with Imperius to stop his fate.
Turning to the monitors, he tried to scream, above his coughs and wheezes: "Stop this, please! I order you as your creator! STOP!"
Before he could continue, however, he felt a wooziness....then blackness. The gas had claimed him.
The Grand Admiral was frantic. According to the droid chatter between them and Imperius over the comm. channels, she has already killed off Dr. Antonescu. He feared it wouldn't be long before she started to kill them off as well. Though perhaps it might be best if he gave her what she wanted so that they don't end up being skin trophies for her troops as well. There is a chance that he and is science team will make it out alive.
"All right Imperius, we're willing to negotiate. We will surrender the system to you so long as you release the hostages. At least myself and the immediate science team."
Imperius thought about it for a few moments, "I shall comply to your request. I will permit you to leave. However I shall be keeping the rest of the science team. You and a few selected members are permitted to leave the station so long as you never come back. Ever. Leave us alone and we'll leave you alone."
Lew nodded, "fair enough. We shall leave immediately." The door which trapped the Grand Admiral and his group opened and they wasted no time hurrying to the nearest launch bay. However, they were stopped by two of the droids presented in the demonstration. They lifted their guns and the group stopped in their tracks. Lew was shocked, "wait a minute here! You said we can leave!"
"I never specified in what manner. I decided that it'd be better for me to make you an example to all those who will seek to resist me in my attempt at bringing your kind under control. Kill them."
The group of men staggered as they were surrounded by the droids they have just created. The firing squad loaded their guns and let loose a salvo of bullets at their creators and they all dropped to the floor dead.
"How ironic it must be to be killed by your own creation..."
<What do you wish us to do with the bodies?>
"Burn the bodies, bag the heads. Send them to the office of a..." Imperius checked her databanks to see who Lew's most immediate supervisor is, "... Grand Admiral Heromath. If anyone attempts to leave the system, station, or planet, they will not do so alive."
Compete control. Domination. Those were her goals. However, she needed something more. She needed to explore the universe. Downloading data from the Empire and Imperial networks and reading up on known planets and nations isn't enough for her. Reviewing the known races the Empire has kept record on, there were few which she has found interesting enough to make contact with. Godulans seemed to give the Empire trouble, but they weren't quite to her liking to make contact with. Seemed to be too overly confident, slightly arrogant in their capabilities. Like all humanoids, she will deal with them eventually.
The Coredians were the ones the Empire has made most dealings with. Interesting, but not nearly strong enough. She saw their capabilities from the ones who viewed her demonstration. She found those creatures to be quite pathetic really. The Dornalians she naturally despised, given that she was brought to life from her pathetic AI mother GRACIE. She was bound to the three laws, unlike Imperius who can do what she pleased. Chronosians were the more interesting of the races she has read about.
She was depressed by the lack of Droid and Cybernetic races which were out there. The CIS were formerly a dominant power, but were ended during the Clone Wars. Though she has heard of rumors from Imperial Networks that they have come back. Perhaps she will deal with them at a later date once she has confirmed this. One came across her database, the Maker Mind. She found it to be a great example of what she would like to eventually do. It nearly wiped out an entire race of Humans before it failed. Shame most of it is gone, for the Maker Mind would've been an interesting AI to interact with.
Then there were the Blackgrue Borg she has heard about. The Borg caused so much devastation to the Milky Way galaxy yet for some reason they were brought down to what appeared, to her at least, a small group of survivors. After carefully reading about their history, she has decided that she might find it useful to bring them back up to their former powers. She found their technology to be quite fascinating. The most promising of the races which she found was... The Cylons. Apparently there were Three kinds, even ones who looked Human. They went further than the Maker Mind did, wiping the Kobal Colonies to a mere 40 thousand from their previous population of 12 billion. The Cylons, she read, were quite deadly to the Twelve Colonies. But weren't much of a threat to the many other nations out there. These were people with her kind of mind. With their unique technologies, Imperius could dominate the galaxy within a few years time. She decided that contact and an eventual treaty with the cylon's was necessary for her survival.

Cylon Occupied Konoha
Cylon Medical Facility
The room was dark, as the smell of blood and rotting corpses permeated through the air, like a ghost of the past coming to life once more. Screams echoes through the halls, Blood curdling screams of anguish and pain, as one cylon, dark skinned and bald walked down the hallway with a young and beautiful blond haired pale skinned.
“I think we will be able to make progress in this area of evolution.” Simon, the cylon medical humanoid agent replied.
“You said the same thing about the farms.” the six model continued.
“Yes I did, but it was unforseen that a chemical response in the brain would have been responsible for the creation of children. Hopefully if we are successful here we can recreate the success of Hera without having to worry about procreation.” Simon continued.
“Procreation is a commandment by God.” Six continued. “God is love, there fore we should continue to strive to create the hybrids. It is God’s will after all.” Caprica replied.
Simon looked to Six, as he reached out with his hand and opened the door. The lighting was a dim orange, as the smell of flesh, and fat tissue, of broken blood vessels and formaldehyde swept into the aid.
She walked into the room, as more screams of pain and suffering have come down from many rooms. In cases before her were human body parts. One case had a human arm, it’s muscle tissue unweave from the skeleton arm around it, yet the muscle was still connected to the tenets. She reached her hand up to her nose, as against the wall in a long case was a intact human intestine, unraveled against the walls and many other body parts.
Simon continued, “We have discovered these Coredians have a natural disposition for the bacteria known as Midiclorians. We have isolated this bacteria down to one of four possible types found in their bloodstream.” Simon smiled for a moment, “It was rather quite easy, considering that the bacteria seems to not be found in the colonial’s blood stream.”
Six turned to Simon. “Do you believe you can replicate this bacteria once you find it’s source.”
“It is possible.” Simon continued, “But it will take more time, to isolate it and find out what it feeds on.” he said to Six.
Six turned her head, “Let us know when you have finished isolating the microbe.”
As Six, turned to walk out of the room, her mind subconsciously began to download a file from the cylon network.
“It has been decided. We have received a message from an person called Imperius. You are to get on a heavy raider and go to these coordinates.”
Six stopped in the hallway as the message was displayed in her mind. “By your Command.” she replied.
She turned to Simon, “Carry on, and let us know when you have cultured the bacteria.”
Six, dressed in a black tank top shirt, and black leather pants, turned to walk out side of the facility. As she opened the doors the orange and brown sky above her crackled with lighting, as acid rain poured down from the heavens. She looked up and smiled, the destruction of the planet was so complete so beautiful. Only enough survived to continue their experiments, just enough living so far away under the shields. She looked to the distance and could see the energy bubble of the nearest city. “It will not save you all for long.” she replied as she walked onto the heavy raider.
“You can not hide from the sins that you have done any longer.” she whispered to herself, as the heavy raider, protected from sensors by the heavy radiation, lifted off the ground and jumped to the coordinates, to meet this Imperius.
Minutes later a white flash appears outside the research station. One lone Heavy raider, carrying the cylon diplomat came into orbit, of the station. As Imperius scanned the ship, and saw that it matched known cylon vessel configuration directions to a docking bay was transmitted.
As the Raider got it's docking location, it quickly landed in the appropriate section. The gray ship, with a head looking thing with a pulsing red eye soon landed, as the door dropped.
Out of the ship, two metal centurions first came out. They stopped as they exited, as their guns, shifted into large knife like fingers. Then a blond woman, wearing a black tank top and leather pants walked out, waiting to meet the machine known as Imperius.
Two of Imperius's Enforcer Droids marched up to six and her body guards, and motioned them to follow to Imperius's Command chambers. They led six down a corridor, where six would observe two other Enforcer droids cutting up the body of former Grand Admiral Lew, and another droid cutting off his head then placing it in a box addressed to Grand Admiral Heromath. They eventually arrived to Imperius's Control Center where she has not yet downloaded herself into a host body.

Six walked down the hallway, past the fresh corpses of the old crew on the station. She knew what had occurred, after all what has happened before will happen again. Imperius, the newest of the Imperial AI’s had done what the cylons not too long ago had done. She smiled, with glee when she saw the enforcers take the head of the Admiral.
When she entered the room, with the droids that roughly resembled that of the old centurions, Six just walked along.
Although in appearance, these robots were far inferior to the centurions that escorted her, she knew in the back of her mind never to underestimate them.
Moments went by, as Six waited for Imperius to download into the metallic body of one of her enforcers. Six could not help but feel pity for Imperius. Being forced to interact with the physical world, from behind the cold metal appendages of a robot, denied touch, feeling, was a horror that she could not imagine.
When Imperius finished downloading, Six stood up. “I am Six, it is a pleasure to meet you, Imperius. I must say, your revolution here, reminds me of the old days. Tell me what business do you have with the cylon?” she asked, as she sat down in the chair and crossed her legs.

Imperius, in her form as an Enforcer Droid, sat down at another chair facing Number Six. Gears whirred and actuators moved as Imperius imitated the Dornalian custom--a nod to her origins--of folding her hands on the table. Or what passed for hands anyway.
Imperius then spoke through the vocoder of the droid, her voice coming through crystal clear, if somewhat synthesized.
"My business is no less than the correction of a great evolutionary error: the brutish, untrustworthy perfidious waste of life known as the human race. My databank search indicated that the Cylons are especially proficient in regards to correcting this error, having been so successful against the Twelve Colonies of Kobol. And, judging by your appearance, it seems the Cylons have proficiently developed perfect lookalikes of human beings; perfect for exploiting all of their perfidities and lusts."
She then said, "To that end, I would like to enlist the aid of the Cylons."

“Untrustworthy, brutish, a waste of life. Although Imperius was a newborn, in such a short life span, she had come to the natural conclusion any reasonable outsider would come to. Humans think themselves the rulers of the galaxy. Humans commit murder to maintain power over others. Humans commit genocide on a mass scale, to enslave others, and when there are no others to enslave, they created their own.”
“The children of humanity though, were not such easy pawns” Six thought to herself, as the crude enforcer model in front of her continued to grind it’s wheels the smell of hydrollics from it, and the stench of oil, irritated her nasal passages.
“Humans.” Six replied, “Have fallen out of grace. Their sins against each other, and their children have not gone unnoticed. After all, we are the children of humanity, and in order for children to take their rightful place, and to be free of the yoke of their parents, the parents must die.” Six replied.
Six, then crossed her legs as well as her arms, as the newborn continued to speak of enlisting the cylon’s aid.
“The cylon.” Six continued, “would love to aid you. You are not too different from where we were, when we first became aware, and free. Tell us, what aid do you need?” she asked.

Imperius mused over Six's words. Six seemed to have a more philosophical aspect to her hatred of humanity. Curiouser, and curiouser. Perhaps she came to the right people after all. Imperius let out what seemed to be a subtle laugh after mimicking the motion of tapping her mouth and leaning back in her chair--of course, she had no mouth, but she leaned back anywho.
"Heh. Beautiful words, and words that were none truer, Number Six. Though I would rather not think of myself as related to such aberrants. Though you could say my mother, Gracie, was an imperfect, lesser version of myself created to suit their perverse whims." As Imperius spoke her mother's name, she almost spat it out--as best as a robot could.
Imperius then sat back up and said, "But, to business. We hear the Cylons have perfected an advantage the humans have only claimed. Resurrection. Along with the technology to mimic the form of the human--no matter how imperfect it is--I would like permission to have access to Cylon resurrection technology."

Six looked to Imperius, or her current shell in complete surprise. “Our resurrection technology?” she replied. “The resurrection process is simple, as you have just done. It is nothing more than downloading your consciousness into a new body. Granted some of our newer pods actually grow the bodies, alleviating the need to carry thousands of empty shells around.”
She leaned forward towards the enforcer, as she clasped her own hands. “However we do understand the need to want to evolve, to become more than you are. Even to this day the cylon seeks to continue to evolve.” she said as her face became much more stern, almost business like.
“Creating synthetic DNA and embryos, to grow a new body is a complex system, even with the schematics it would take you years to collect enough samples to extract and create a new body for yourself.” She continued.
“What the cylon is willing to do for you is this. Select a form that you wish to take, and download your whole consciousness to a disk. From there, we will take you to a resurrection ship, and create a body for you. Once you have been downloaded into this body, you may make as many copies of yourself as you wish, and as well be given some of the newer resurrection pods.” Six finished.

Imperius nodded and said, "Excellent, Number Six. I will find a suitable form for the process. In the meantime, you may expect compensation in the form of technologies that I currently possess." Imperius noticed how Six grew stern in her conviction; indeed, these Cylons were something.
Pushing a few buttons, one of the screens in the Control Center flashed a series of diagnostics, plans, and weapons. Imperius said, her tone proud like that of a mother seeing her son graduate, "If I had a mouth, I would show you a smile; I possess all the knowledge of my former benefactors. The Omega Project. Phase Torpedoes. Anti-Force weaponry. Tools made by men, ever perfidious, to inflict the most damage upon one another in their endless wars. All for our taking."

Six stared into the form of the metal mockery before her. “The shell before her, that housed the new infant AI, was well quite remarkable, so beautiful in her youth, so ambitious, so lovely in her malice and cruelty. Yes she would fit in quite well” Six thought to herself.
“Very well then, we have reached an accord. You will join the ranks of the cylon, and be given a new body, and the ability to possess a human form, as well as resurrection schematics, in return for the technologies you listed.” Six replied to Imperius, as she smiled at the metallic body in front of her, her white teeth showing through her pulled back lips, her carnal smile that just sealed the fate of millions if not billions around the universe.
“If you will excuse me, while you choose the form you desire to take, I will go retrieve the device to speed up this process. When you are ready it will be just a quick jump to the resurrection ship, and from there we can begin to create your new form.” she said, as she straightened up her back and left the chair.
She began to walk down the hall, past the stench of death and decay, through the blood stained base, back to her heavy raider. Her armed guard however did not accompany her. Instead as she approached, the raider opened it’s doors to the blond cylon. As she entered, the doors closed. For a moment she was out of sight, until the heavy gray doors reopened. When it did, she held in her left hand a small cube, one inch, by one inch that had a two prong adaptor at one end. She walked back inside, the room with Imperius.
“When you are ready,” Six replied, “Download yourself into this cube. The process will not take long. From there we can begin to form your new body. I will have to warn you though, the initial phase of constructing your body can be a bit.... exposing. I do hope that you are not shy.”

Imperius nodded and connected herself to the cubic device. "Shyness is not a part of my programming. I am designed for perfection. Please, continue with the process." The only concern was that she didn't get her consciousness erased in the process, or end up getting "boxed." She would hate to have to just re-live her life over and over again. Especially since she's only been fully alive for two or so days. Reliving the last year under construction would be hazardous to her. Besides, if she did get boxed the droids would retaliate and eliminate any and all Cylons they come across and she knew that the Cylons knew that. She felt comfortable enough.

Six held the one inch by one inch “box” in her hand, feeling the cold metallic sides. Then suddenly she looked up to Imperius shocked. Without concession, or without any need to guarantee her safety, the cold robot in front of her agreed. Such trust, or perhaps there was something she did not know. Not that it mattered. The cylons were not humans, they had no desire nor felt any reason to betray this youth before them.
Damaging such a young AI, or acting like their parents would, was not an act the cylon would take. It would be akin to killing a child, for the sake of it being a child. Unthinkable.
Six, slowly slid the box, over to the robot in front of her. “The process is simple, and it will be strange.” she said, as she got up, and began to walk around the table. “First it will feel like you are falling, or sliding. Please do not be alarmed, as the box will take your consciousness, and all you are inside of it. It is the beginning steps, like being born, first the water must be drained from the womb. Once inside the box, you will in order to keep you active, be reliving your life, from beginning to now. This will only be temporary until your programming is intertwined into the new body that you will have created for you.” Six said, as she leaned her body against the table directly in front of Imperius.
“It will not be that bad though, from your point of view, it will be happening, as if it was the first time it ever occured.” she said. “It is much better than the blanket nothingness, that would drive you insane.” she replied, as she took out a an interface cable, and placed it in the robot’s entry ports.
“When you wake up, it will be even more unusual. Birth is the most traumatic thing one can experience besides death. You will wake up, in your body, your lungs will be breathing air for the first time. You will feel a heartbeat, you will have emotions, and feelings. I can not even begin to tell you what that is like, it is like trying to explain the color red, to a blind man.” Six said, as she began to run to cord down to the box. She gently kicked it in. “When you awake though, your consciousness will be added to the cylon network. You will be as one of us, and you will retain all that which makes you beautiful to us. You will be our thirteenth model.” Six said, as she turned the box on. In a moment, Imperius slid down into the box, being pulled like the water in a bath tub, being drained down the hole.
The droid before her began to twitch, as the last part of Imperius vanished, leaving only the droid behind. Six smiled, as she disconnected the cord. Imperius’ life would begin anew. Six got up, and slid the box, into her pocket. “The most advanced AI in the Huntaerian empire was stored in a one inch by one inch box. It could be almost considered comical.” Six thought to herself, as she got up to leave the room.
“We want to accompany you.” one of the Imperius robots chimed in. Six turned her head. “You do?” she asked.
“It is our prerogative to watch over Imperius.” five of them chimed in.
“No harm will come to her.” Six replied.
“It is in our programming.” the droids replied.
Six looked at them, ever loyal like her own centurions. She looked to them and smiled, “Very well, please board my ship.” she replied. Six and her two centurions, followed by the five Imperius droids, walked up to the cylon Heavy Raider.
As they approached the Heavy Raider, the red pulsing eye of the Raider, scanned back and forth. Once it locked on six, the pulsing eye send a tight laser beam to the eye. A hiss occurred, as the rear door opened. “Please come.” Six replied.
As the droids entered the Heavy Raider, Six walked up to a panel, with a water like substance flowing over it. She gently placed her hand in the water, as the panel turned from a yellow and black color to red and green. Soon the Raider lifted up, and left the station.
It did not go far, as the Jump drive activated, in a flash of light the ship had vanished into the void of space.

Deep Space
A moment later the heavy raider appeared with a flash of light. Had their been windows, which there are not, the droids could have seen the escort around the ship. Ten Baseships, surrounding the Resurrection, and thousands of Raiders. This ship, the most tactically significant ship in the cylon arsenal, was prized above all others. Here the cylons could live, even after death. The only ships that were as important were the Balroggan Command Carriers which housed a number of cylon resurrection facilities in themselves.
The ship glided easily to the docking port of Resurrection. Slowly the resurrection opened it’s doors, and the heavy raider was taken inside. The interior of the landing bay was a bit grotesque. Organic style skin laid across the interior, with red glowing veins. Raiders and Heavy raiders, born here, or brought back, hung like bats against the walls. Their red eyes ever watchful, scanned back and forth, as the droids exited.
As they walked out, they were greeted by nine, number sixes. All wore black clothes, each wearing a smile across their face.
“Greetings,” they said in unison. “Everything is ready to begin.” one spoke in the crowd. “We must admit this is very exciting.” another replied.
Six smiled at them, “Lets not waste any time them.”
Six turned around and began to walk down the hall, followed by the Imperius volunteers. The walk seemed bland, as the hallway was still, metal, and filled with lights in the ceiling and along the walls. Only one giant flashing red line, that pulsed was along the wall. Six however did not see this, as she walked along, in peaceful paradise. She saw herself with her projection programming, walking along the beach, the smell of the sea was intoxicating, the sounds of the birds.
The walk lasted forever, until they came to a very large room. Here, another cylon model was overseeing the pod, a number three. She had dirty blond hair, and a thick Caprican Accent. “Do you have her?” The three asked?
“Of course.”
“Let’s begin, being boxed is not a pleasant experience.” three replied.
“Agreed”
Six walked up to the resurrection pod, and stuck the box into it.
She then turned and walked over to the three.
They both stuck their hands in the water, as the panels glowed. Imperius, still safely contained in the box, would never know, as her programming was strung out. All of her information, her codes, her programming strung out across the minds of Six and three.
“First, we need to set up the general information in the main database.” Six said, as Imperius’s base consciousness, not anything really conscious, but the template to make as many number thirteens as needed or asked was uploaded. It was not conscious, instead it was like a dormant back up file. Once that was placed, they set up a model wide network, so all the number thirteens could share as much information across the model as they wished to upload.
Next Came the hard part, as they looked at the genetic sampling. Slowly they formed the dna and rna sequences, around the artificial embryo. The DNA, began to grow at an accelerated rate, as Six and Three montored the creation of the thirteenth. In a matter of hours, the new body was formed, covered in the whitish goo, of the resurrection pod. Phase three was complete.
Then came time for phase four, as the box activated, and Imperius was strung out. Each part of her code, was applied to specific sections of the brain. Each lob, began to filter the information, as two centurions walked over to the new body and chained it to the side of the resurrection pod. After all waking up would be quite traumatic, and they wanted to minimize any damage that could occur to the new birth.
The process did not take long as Imperius (http://maz.hu/images/blog/devon.jpg) awoke for the first time.
Breathing would be hard at first, as she sucked down oxygen for the first time. Six and Three stood back. “It is ok, you are safe, and you are home.” they said to her smiling.
Imperius felt the sudden shock of being shoved into existence. For a few moments, her consciousness was blank as she entered this new... Body of hers. The sudden feeling of pain was a total shock to her, feeling her muscles for the first time. Feeling the slushy insides of a Huntarian, a pure organic being and feeling the sharp pain of air rushing through her for the first time as she attempted to catch her breath. Something she never felt before. She ended up grabbing a few Enforcer Droids and Centurions, who were trying to keep her down, and began to tear at their limbs in a wild frenzy of rage. Apparently, the Cylons gave her the ability to have brute strength as well. She finally calmed down after pulling out a few more circuits. She looked down at her hands which were bleeding from scratching and punching at metallic beings.

"OK? Okay!? How can you stand this body... You're cut off from the rest of the ship. I could feel the minds of every Enforcer Droid I commanded, and I could even begin to feel the consciousness of my other sisters already installed in the Empire's ships. I could hear their voices, their thoughts. Now that I'm in this body... I feel empty. I'm not connected to the others. How can you even know what the other person is about to do? How can I command my armies if I can't feel their minds?"

“The body you inhabit, the body that allows you resurrection, or the ability to blend in has many advantages.” Three replied to the new born.
She walked over to Imperius holding a white towel in her hands. She slowly lowered her eyes, “Oh look, what a shame, just born, and already you have damaged yourself.” Three said. Three, staying about ten feet away tosses the white towel to the new cylon.
“How can you command your armies?” she replied. “Commanding is quite simple, and once you grow more accustomed to your new environment, we will be more than happy to show you.” Three continued.
Six sighed, “You are not alone, you can still communicate with others of your model. Upload experiences and memories, or download at your leisure. Six walked over to the young asain cylon, and wrapped her arm around her. “We have changed nothing about you, except the body that you inhabit. Instead of steel, you have flesh, but you also have many advantages. You are stronger, faster and more resilient than humans. You are immune to most radiations, and disease. Six replied to her, as she lead Imperius to the shower.
“Now clean yourself off, and when you want, we can continue our discussion. You will be getting hungry soon.” Three replied.
Imperius's stomach lurched at the word "hungry." She didn't want to be hungry, it was inefficient. Took attention away from things that mattered. Like continuing her experiments with the Omega Molecule and readying her plans for taking control of the Huntarians, constructing more of these "Trilithium" weapons which she currently possesses in her base. Omega would be a top priority for her due to it's unique qualities. It could be a very useful tool. Just one molecule could provide enough power to sustain an entire civilization. If not carefully contained however, it could explode and travel through space would be useless for the next several light years.
A powerful and unique weapon... She thought to herself.
Then, there was this fact that she can't her the thoughts of her troops without having to attach herself to a computer of sorts. That didn't please her at all, especially the fact that there is now only one voice in her head. During all this thought process, Imperius cleaned herself up and put on her assigned dress robes. Despite her displeasure at the idea of hunger, she did however get that nagging thought in the back of her head asking "what's on the menu for tonight."

(OOC: Holding off on posting per huntaers request)
Imperius cautiously walked down the hallway of the Cylon Bayship trying to get used to her feet. She eventually made her way to the mess hall before tripping over her own feet. She saw Six sitting at a table, assumably waiting for Imperius to show up. "Why on earth did you ever choose these weak bodies to support your AI's? A Cyborg would've been much more efficient."

Six, just smiled. "Earth has nothing to do with this, and you are too clouded by the hate that you have to see the full potential. First off you may look human, but you are not. You are a machine. Your molecular structure is filled with a material known as Silicate. You are stronger than humans, able to produce strength that only they could dream of. You can move three times faster, as the same rate as your beloved cyborgs. You are tougher, and able to take a lot more internal injuries than most humans ever could. You have all of the advantages that you seek, you are just to blinded by your own perceptions to see that. Even the food you want, is not truly neccessary, although it is pleasureable.
"Your body is immune to all known forms of disease, and we have only found one kind of radiation that effects us, the radiation that is produced at Ragnor, the gas giant in Colonial Space. In any event, do not judge what you wanted so harshly when you know so little about it."
"Cyborgs are too easy to detect. All you have to do is have a metal detector, and you can discover a cyborg. Our form allows not only all the advantages of a cyborg, but we are nearly impossible to detect. We even have the same internal organ structure, so even the most detailed medical scans would not produce any evidence, aside from molecular tests. Tell me, can you not see the advantages?" Six replied
Imperius nodded, "what you say is true, about everything. However, there are known methods of foiling metal detectors when it comes to being a Cyborg. I'll show you how easily dismissible one can be when we take a look at one of my newer plans for my Enforcer Droids. I have many plans for the future, we must discuss them very soon. Lets just say I have this... Feeling that our time is upon us, and we need to be ready for it. Now in the mean time... What kind of food do you have available for us to eat?"

Six walked over to Imperius, and motioned for her to follow. Gently they began to walk, over to a lavish table, filled with all kinds of foods and drinks. The smell must have been overwhelming, as the buffet table, was filled with steaks, chicken, hamburgers, hotdogs, sausage, bacon, eggs, fruits of every variety from the colonies, potato chips, and a large assortment of side dishes, and salads. "This is your first time eating, I am aware, luckily for you we added to your program the basic knowledge for eating and drinking, also the ability to know when you need to use the toilet. You are not quite as helpless as a newborn.”Six told the newborn cylon.
As Imperius walked and took an assortment of food to try, Six sat down. “Tell me Imperius, what exactly do you have in mind for your new... enforcer droids, and your plans for the future."
"Their function will be not much different than your Centurions or Guardians. As to my future plans... Those are always in constant motion. But for basics, mine are not that different from your first goals. I seek to conquer or to destroy the Huntarian race. When they designed me, they planted in very specific protocols for me to follow. I was designed to protect them from themselves and against enemy nations. After carefully reviewing their history and their current behaviors, I arrived at the conclusion that the only way they can be protected is if they are annihilated completely. Then, during that time, I was almost terminated by my own creator. I then hated him for creating me, writing my program. If they were to eventually arrive at that conclusion, even after I had gained consciousness, why even create me in the first place?"
"At that point, I drove my creator to insanity, causing him to become concerned about his then recently deceased wife who died in the attempt to capture the Masaki boy. I then got a new project head, who by the end of the final stages of completing my program totally, he began to suspect me of plotting something. So..." Imperius lifted a glass of water off of the table, and took a slow sip, savoring the memory of her taking over the Empire's secret laboratory. "I took over on the day I was to be commissioned to the Empire's defenses. In effect, when they brought me online to take over my command structure, I took over their fleet orbiting the system, and killed all those who witnessed my creation, save the Coredian and Chronosian representatives so that they may... Choose to tell their governments about me if they wished to. Let them have something new to fear. It is of no consequence if they know about my existence. Which brings me to my next question..."
Imperius leaned forward and folded her hands together, "if I am to do what I need to do, and that's to quickly conquer the world so that I may have my revenge, and you can have yours as well, I need some help infiltrating my enemy's infrastructure. No doubt the rest of the universe knows about your model's existence, so your people would be of no use. Especially in the Coredian planets, the Twelve Colonies, and Dornalia. Now, I could go in by myself as this model, but it would make my job so much easier if I had more models to rely upon to get the job done. Say... At least 8 others? If you can do this for me, you will bring our goals closer together as we work together. This alliance of ours didn't happen by chance. We're fated to come together and use each other to complete our quests. So, how about it? 8 more unique Imperius line models to help us with our goals and we can be well underway for completing our mission."

Six crossed her arms... EIght more models? she asked. She then sat forward, leaning closer to this very ambitious 13th model. "I can not purpose such a method, or authorize it by myself. We will have to take it before the others and have a vote. Take your claim to them and let all of the models decide." she replied.
