GROB, THRESH - The results of the recent elections for Council and Premier have been calculated.
From Elopia, Gregor P. Polokovich and Zafka N. Negski have been elected for Council. Polokovich is a strong conservative and Negski an adamant liberal, so it will be interesting to see how the two work together.
From Auric, Paul P. Elagi and George N. Nicodemus have been elected, both of whom are staunch civil rights supporters.
From Thresh, Carl S. Samson and Erik L. Zonn have been elected, both of whom are strong supporters of big business.
The Council is split evenly along traditional idealogical lines, so it will be interesting to see where the newly elected Premier, formerly Acting Premier, Owen M. Drescht will stand.
Drescht has announced his cabinet, taking with him not only friends and supporters of the revolution, and, as expected, ridding the nation of the former corrupt members of the former Premier's cabinet.
The Cabinet is as follows:
- Ministry of State | Henry H. Klingsford
- Ministry of Defense | Victor J. Mellen
- Ministry of Economics | Solomon B. Binavram
- Ministry of Interior | Janice K. Fjord
- Ministry of Environment | Phoebe M. Gelling
- Ministry of Energy | Honus T. Globus
- Ministry of Health and Human Services | John J. Schmidt
- Ministry of Security | Aaron T. Mellen
- Ministry of Education | Steven F. Aquarius
- Ministry of Transportation | Kreig W. Ares
- Ministry of Trade | William K. Schlossberg
- Ministry of Agriculture | Hector H. Hicks
More to come as it is announced.
