In the Southwestern corner of the Dictatorial State of Red Tide, lay the province of Korev. The province held only one major city and was a huge agriculture center, the second of the top five povinces that produce grain in the DSRT. It was also the province with the largest minority of what the Red Tideans called the 'Forgotten'. With 48.32% of the population of Korev was made up of the Forgotten.

The were the original inhabitants of this section of Elysia, before the Russian Empire decided to colonise it. The population had mostly either been wiped out or forced to intergrate with Russian civilization by first the Russian Empire, then the Soviet Union, and now Red Tide. Of course, this was about to blow up in Red Tides face.

All over the province, a massive revolt bloomed into being, despite the presence of two major naval ports, there were only four army bases in Korev, which were quickly overrun by the rebels. The personnel of these bases, in typical Red Tidean Military fashion, fought to the death down to every last man. By the next day, the province declared itself independent.

Official Statement from the DSRT Goverment
"Any support to these illegitimate rebels by foreign nationals will not be tolerated. This is a internal dispute and we intend for it to remain as such."
End Statement

OOC: The PRK has a population of about two hundred million. About which 53% support the uprising, another 36% dont care either which way, and the rest are against it. The PRK intends to establish a socialist democratic goverment. The Red Tide Goverment does not want this to happen and is mobilising significant forces to destroy it.

Most Red Tidean Military and NKVD assets in Korev have been overrun, but there are some holdouts, waiting for reinforcements. There were nuclear, chemical, biological, and naval assets based in Korev, but these were destroyed by the Red Tidean Military before they could be overrun. The PRK are armed mostly with 70s-era Russian equipment and a little modern Red Tidean Military equipment.

Please no nukes or biological weapons allowed without my say-so, chemical weapons are allowed.
