It was another day in Londim. The curfew had been lifted after alleged revolutionaries had been caught and sentenced. The people went about their usual business. The nation was stable for the time being.

In the halls of the Senate, government officials milled around talking about the latest events in Londim. Crop yields had increased under the new government scheme and research in modern society that people were content.

" I tell you we're doing very well", said the Agriculture Minister John Stewards, "Enogh food for everyone, enough money for everyone. This truly is a great time for Londim."

The Finance Minister, Harold Friers, nodded in agreement and also coughed slightly.

"Are you okay Friers?"

"Yes yes *cough* is only a small cough. Nothing to worry about. It'll clear up in a few days." Friers said this with confidence but on the inside he felt terrible. His sinus were cloggin up and his limbs ached. He should've been at home. Another fit of coughing escaped Friers.

"Are you sure Friers? I could get someone to take you home where you can rest for a few days."

"Yes I told you.." A large fit of coughin agian caught hold of Friers and then he fell. Fell as if someone had pushed him to the ground. Stewards quickly went to aid him while a group of people surrounded the pair. Someone calle for an ambulance. Stewards looked up.

"He..he is dead." Stewards looked at the crowd as t a collective gasp escaped the group.

The virus had struck.

OOC: Basically this is a man made virus. Officlas do not know this yet but someone has targeted the government to take them out. I'm leaving the route open for anyone to claim they did it. It could be an individual, a group or a nation.

Within 12 hours the majority of Londims high ranking officlals were in critical condtion within the Emergency Wards of Resa City Hospital. After the sudden unexplained death Friers, people within the Senate building had begun falling ill.

This virus had come out of no where and its symtoms could not be found in any medical journal. It looked like Mother Nature was asserting her power over man but was she? This could have been an artificially made virus that someone somewhere had developed.

Premier Huyt had put the area around Senate Square on lockdown. No one was being let out of the area and it was to stay this way until the virus was neutralised. It was a good thing the hospital was in the area.
