A new forum has been created for the NS Draftroom, originally Sarzonia's idea (although he does not run the new forum, and is definitely opposed to it the credit for the idea still is indisputably his). The forum can be found following this link (http://z4.invisionfree.com/NSDraftroom/index.php?act=idx). Most of the board's administration remains the same, although there are slightly different rules in effect - rules which do not hinder a more 'democratic' process of administration.

For those that don't know what the NS Draftroom is, all you need to know is that you should register. ;) The Draftroom is a forum dedicated towards the concentration of NS designers and offers a place where designers can get constructive critique on their weapons and ordnance. Most major designers such as Questers, Doomingsland, Illior, Space Union, et cetera post their designs on the Draftroom first. Furthermore, it also acts as a library of sorts for source information and documents that are thrown around during arguments or even by people willing to upload them somewhere. It's a very helpful place, and I think that everybody who has gone through it would suggest it to somebody.

Now, I know you havn't released the details yet, but I *know* for a fact that you're lacking the same marketing resources as the...shall we say... old draftroom.

But anyway, I just wanted to say I know someone who'll be happy to do it, and, for a limited time only, he gives SEXUAL FAVOURS TO GOOD DESIGNERS.. so yeah, if you're interested, tell me, and I'll TG you his details

Also, the general draftroom rules were far stricter than those employed on Mac's draftroom. While I still respect Sarz's draftroom because its his forum and he can manage it how he liked, I disliked the style so I will be taking a more active role in Mac's.

Yay! I got recognized! And for the record, Draftroom's always been a great place to have people look over your designs, specially if you're like me and aren't the perfect designer, as I don't always know the best types of systems and such, and every once and a while, I tend to make a silly mistake, and they catch it, and say it in a nice way... and then there's always the crazy general section where even the most random things get posted, like a 21 paged thread about what you're listening to.

(Was that way as well on the other one)

It's also a good place to actually learn a few things about design. I know I have learned a couple of things since joining.

Since I have a bunch of random rough draft desgins of things saved on microsoft works documents just sitting there taking up memory, I may as well see if they even make sense. Look for a headache later when I post over there.

Even if you don't design you can still ask questions there, or ask for commissions, or ask for modifications of vehicles. There's a lot to talk about there.

From what I can see from looking over your Ft board, I can tell it is A little more welcoming and open, rather than all of the MT standards applied to FT ships like the old draftroom.
