Confederacy of Subantarctic Islands Senate Elections 2007
Under the new constitution of the Confederacy of Subantarctic Islands those whom are registered to vote and wish to exercise their democratic right to do so must choose one of the following named candidates as their choice of President Elect of the Confederacy.
Unionist Party of Subantarctic Islands
Candidate: Euan Brown
Details: The party shall strive to achieve abolishion of the newly formed Confederacy of Subantarctic Islands and seek reunification of these islands with the United Continent of Antarctica as is their rightfull place.
Confederacy Independance Party
Candidate: Arthur Donahue
Details: Recognising that the United Continent of Antarctica has fallen into the hands of a corrupt and manipulative government, supports the call of all citizens of the united Subantarctic Islands to form an independant confederacy with new founded soverignty and government. Shall strive towards improving economy, military and social welfare for all.
The Democratic Confederacy Party
Candidate: David James
Details: Agrees on the decision of the united people's to form new government and state but believes in the importance of maintaining good relations with the United Continent of Antarctica is to the benifit of our economic growth, national security and international standing. We shall establish realistic economic targets with a policy of low taxation - low public spending.
Subantarctic Freedom Force
Canditate: John Hickman
Details: Supports formation of the Confederacy but believes more is needed. We should expand the confederacy to encompass the enslaved peoples of the Falkland Islands whilst also markedly increasing military expendature to ensure total defence and increased military weight in the region.
