Note that this vote is only public so I can see if we're getting spammed by non-ESSers or what...

Hi all, I'm Amazonian Beasts. I've been on NationStates for a year and a few months-since December 2005. I've roleplayed a lot during that time, from interactions with the Kraven Corporation to RPs with DMG, Jenrak, and others. I've been involved with two Earths of others's creation-The People's Earth, and SYAE, which I serve as the Saharan Confederate Expanse in-and moderated my own created Earth, Earth 22nd Century, at one point. I also RP in the FT Earth, Universe II.

As Vice Mod, I intend to be active. That's one thing that always seems to kill off Earths, and indeed killedof 22C after about two months: inactivity. Playing as the NAR in this Earth will give me plenty of opportunities to continue or create RPs in this sense, and I will always be more than happy to come in as an NPC nation needed to be controlled while another RPs. Regarding my own policies to RPing, I'm pretty flexible. If an idea has suitable justification, I'll allow it, but I will consider all arguments beforehand as well. Obviously, outrageous ideas won't get past me, but well-thought out ideas will certainly merit consideration under my eye.

Hi! I'm Candistan. I've been at Nationstate since July 2006 and have pretty much stuck to Earth and character RP's that whole time. I have been with EV as the Federated States of West Africa, SYAE as the RSFSR now Blue Russia, the People's Earth as the Third Empire of Great Britain, World in Conflict as the United Arab Sultanate, Earth 1875 as the Boer Freestadt, and Amazonian Beast's 21C Earth as the FSAL and the UCMS.

I also want to be as active as possible. Like other candidates have said before, inactivity is a killer. That's why I chose Russia and friends, so I could be as active as possible. One more killer is stupid disputes. In EV right now, the OOC fighting over the War of the Americas has effectively killed the RP. As Vice-Mod, I would take an unbiased stance in disputes not involving russia and get them solved as fast and as fair as possible. If you want to develope something, I'll usually be good with it unless it is totally obscene, for instance a nation with a GDP of 3 billion producing god rods in a years work and funding. Things like that will not fly. I am also happy to RP the NPC's for annexations and conquests.

Tough choice. I don't like the whole public poll thing (I understand what you had in mind Wagdog, but still...) since I don't want to offend anyone. I'd say really that whoever is the most active wins my vote. Which we have yet to see. Also, I like to discuss things in ooc a lot, while doing IC at the same time. Someone who stays out of OOC mostly probably won't win my vote...

Well, originally I was just going to have Czechalrus do it by fiat; but when Candistan, Vetaka and then AB volunteered some hours before he joined up the only fair thing to do was have a poll. I figure I'll hold to my offer even if the die seems cast now, but I'll say that even the apparent losers shouldn't be scared away. If ESS lasts long enough (and I mean for it to;)), we may just get a second poll going for a new vice (or even mod-proper, though I'm not quite sure if I want to put myself up for that one or not when/if it happens...). Should I close this even though those trailing should still post?:confused:
