The Ultimate War (semi-role play, huge war, calling ALL nations) READ THIS!!!!!!!!!!!
I am calling all nations to fight in this ultimate war of epic proportions... You can basically think of anything you want, with the exception of fantasy. Another thing is that technology must be situated between the years 2000-3000... Pretty tight huh...

There will be two teams,

The Imperial Order and The United Armies of Hope... We can put Star Wars things in here. Like space battles, but we can't leave the solar system and no aliens... I really want Mandalore and Greston 2 be here... The war will take place in Atlantis X and if the players want, it may move into other nations, but you have to rp it... There can be nukes or even more advanced things since a person technology can range all the way to 3000. This is basically WW4 since Greston and Mandalore already had WW3. You can switch sides and DO ANYTHING almost!!! Have fun....

Greston, Mandalore, and I will lead the Imperial Order... (That is if they want to) I hope they read this...:headbang:

2) I don't really live in a sith base. It's an NSG in-joke.

OCC: This is probaly one of the most noobish things that has come from II. These posts are immature, all because someone doesnt like what you do, doesnt give you permission to flame them.

all things considered its a interesting idea, but can you make it work? will there be maps? whats are the full extent of the tech limits? and if this gets to the grand scale you want, how will you prevent players from getting confused?

Some Advice. Read the rules and the tips THEN make a war RP.

I was interested, until I realized who exactly was involved here. You should really grow up and become more literate before hosting anything of this sort. No one takes an emoticon spammer seriously, this is Nation-States not instant messenger.

One tip to start with would be not putting a title on every single post you put on a thread. It doesn't make people want to read them any more if there is a caution sign above every post. You should look at the stickied threads on the top of your page.

You might be able to find a good start in the Hataria conflict threads. There's a lot of variety, and I'm sure neither side would object to more help.

You can find the reference OOC thread here (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=522448) and from there you can pick and choose where you want to take part. A piece of advice: First read through the first couple pages of the original Hatarian thread to get some background information on this conflict.

Earth SYAE is cool too, there are still a few more claims open, ones that will teach you (if you stay with it) the finer points of RPing. If you start out your first RP being the biggest superpower there or something, you don't readily learn your lesson as much as with starting out small and ending up (hopefully) big. I myself could have had the chance to be America in SYAE, but decided on a few smaller nations (both in power and land).

Start pout with small scale stuff, because big wars get complicated.

Zombie/survival RPs work, check your tech range at the door though.
(Spacemen and cavemen don't mix)

Then move onto history threads and a few limited interactions with other nations.
(sets up a solid base of nations to interact with and gives you time to hone detailing your nation)

Read stickies, get involved (join/create) in some character RPs (that don't involve your nation), then visit Hataria or Axis Nova to learn the value of humility.

Oh, and you can cut down on smilies... One per paragraph/post is generally more than enough. And they don't convey an idea, thought, or emotion as well as words.

Well, from what I see, an improvement means that in the past he must have been awful. So far he's announced he's had a moon base (Insert Dr. Evil picture here), a anti-missile defense system that has a range of 6000 km and a bomber with a huge bomb (the size of the atomic bomb, but not nuclear) has magically appeared over his enemy's forces. If this is an improvement, I don't want to know what it was like in the past.

However, I did see the thread where he smashed tables and brought a dead kid into the room.

I'd suggest attempting a sort of post-apoc RP, if your name is in anyway associated with what I think it is. Dies the Fire, Protectors War and Meeting at Corvallis are all an excellent source for ideas, especially if you're into the post-apoc idea. And assuming your name is actually associated with Larsdalen, and it's not just a freaky coincidence that it looks like a location from a series I like. Which has happened before...

I believe that Atlantis X is likely a younger poster who lied about his age. Patience is a virtue, kid, you can't expect posts on your thread instanteaously.

Also if your mother is anything like mine was she doesn't want you on this site due to the fact that I would estimate your age at >10 and there is a lot of violence on this site.

Anway, its a good thought but no rules have really been laid down. I suggest checking out some real good RPing and just reading it without posting. Get a feel for what your doing and such, and so when you go for something of this size you can lay down the foundations before asking people to join. Trust me, people will join in somthing that has foundations and a plan laid out for them to follow on. I suggest looking at EII (Not really a specific RP but what you see on the first page was basically what it started with, rules and regulations on how the RP will run and such.) I try to do this but im no good at running an RP with a specific agenda on it, I tried once and failed.
