TNNN Special Report.

The President of Tasrusia, James Westfield, has surprisingly announced his resignation, along with the firing of his advisors and the installment of a new leader.

"My fellow Tasrusians. These past years have been tumultuous at best." Said James Westfield, former president of our noble country. "I look at my country, and see a place not of my vision. I have failed you my people. I have taken away your political freedoms, bar coded you, and controlled you with such power I should never have had. I see that I cannot save this country, and that I must resign. In my place, shall be a party member of the people, of whom you have shown so much support for. I introduce the new President of Tasrusia, Steven Elrom."

The new president had this to say,

"Greetings to you, my fellow people. The current situation we are in is undoubtedly grim. Our economy is failing, and the people can do so little about it. In the coming months I hope to address issues that the people care about. Through this new system, people will be able to propose laws and regulations to further our country. I shall reform our entire government system, so that we may truly be of the people. We shall truly be, Solvo Vulgus."

The new president is expected to make sweeping reforms over the next few years, such as lighter business regulations, destruction of the bar code system, and budget reformation, setting the budget back on track to social welfare, education, and health care.
