Message from the SLFR (South Lizasaurian Federal Railroad

We would like to suggest ideas for weaponry and allow you test certain weapons out provided we are allowed to ship them and we get some of the profit. What do you say?

We are open to negotiations regarding this matter. We have done this kind of the thing in the past, for example, we made a similar deal with our partner, Jay Industries, of Falcina. However, Jay Industries has performed less than satisfactorily so we must deliberate further before deciding. So if you can give us more details or maybe an example, we can see if something can be worked out.

We have ideas for atomic laser weapon systems, a chaingun/shotgun cross and a tank that can climb walls. We plan on giving you the plans on them we have so far and ask that you make and innovate them. So far the South Lizasaurian weapons testers have had no luck with climbing tanks. We can ship you the pieces and deliver some of your goods to certain destinations.

OCC: Why would you want a tank that can climb walls when it can simply run over them?

We would like to start with the chaingun/shotgun cross if possible
Please run the design/concept by my associate Mr. Merillion and I will assemble a team to get on the maturation and production of the design.

OOC: so it can climb walls to big to run over and so taht it can pass impassible terrain like cliffs and uber steep ground.

OOC: forgot to ask, by chaingun do you mean chaingun(proper) (http://tri.army.mil/LC/CS/Csa/apM230.jpg) or chaingun(video game) (http://jasonchartley.com/img/371_minigun_2.jpg)

OOC: A chaingun(videogame) would seem easier. Why is that one called 'videogame' anyway?

Because it is not a real chain gun. There has been a large mis-conception perpetuated by video games that chain guns = gatling guns. Chainguns are machine guns or cannons operated by a chain instead of recoil while Gatling guns, also known as miniguns or some times Vulcan guns feature a rotary barrel configuration, although they are usually operated by a force other than recoil as well.

Just some money and some clarification, we already have a working prototype but we are interested in your input on the caliber.

We have theorized this model could work with .410 12 or 10 gauge shotshells and slugs. We wish to know what the primary role of the weapon will be however. Will it be primarily a support or assault weapon? Are you looking for lose range and high rate of fire only or are there other concerns?

SLFR agent: It will be an anti-infantry support or defensive weapon. We hope that it will have a far firing range and a fast firing rate. Is this possible?
The Phoenix Milita

The max range for a shotgun is going to be like 120 meters for a point target and thats with slugs. We could possibly stretch it 200 meters for an area target only but that is about max.

M-401 Gatling Shotgun
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v293/grunt74/NS1/zxfcdsfsffsf.png
Name:M-401 Gatling Shotgun
Designed by: Phoenix Dynamix
Action: electrically operated percussion fired
Total Weight: 40-45lbs
Rate of Fire 1,400 rounds per minute(cyclic)
Range: 100 meters (AP Slug)
Gauge 12, 20 or .410
Capacity 12 to 5,000 round belt of shells
The M-401 Gatling Shotgun can rapidly fire AP(armor piercing) or soft point slugs or tungsten shotshell. It features and integral bipod and a number of features common to the MG-115 machine gun, such as the sight rail/carry handle. It can accept a number of reflex or aimpoint sights and has lugs for the attachment of an assault sling. The M-401 is the fastest firing shotgun ever created and is ideal for defense against large numbers of lightly armored troops. Even if the armor-piercing slugs are stopped by modern heavy ballistic body armor, the force of the slug will be enough to knockdown any man, and most likely will break ribs. Of course if an unarmored face, leg or shoulder is hit, the party's over

Price
$9000

The Armed Republic of the Toori would gladly partake in this. We might be able to cunjure a round for the gattling shot gun, high explosive, and incindiary rounds filled with psi. I will search for a way.

Phoenix Dynamix has already developed 12 Gauge Explosive Slugs and a 20 shell box is available for a purchase price of $50 per box. However, we do not foresee such explosive rounds useful in a rapid firing weapon.

You could take out multiple targets with one round, therefor conserving amunition.

It is not going to be an issue, the point of this weapon is to take out multiple targets with multiple rounds, the risk off cook off would be too great to justify the use of explosive rounds. A shotgun with a small capacity such as a traditional tube magazined pump would make better use of such rounds.
