The Scandinvans, a devout Catholic people, have long been such as they were converted in the late fourth century when missionaries had come from Roman Britian as the pagan Germanic tribes had begun conquering the island and a good number of priests had taken sanctuary among the people who had been converted by the miracles performed before them and for centuries afterwards pledged their loyalty to their one God of Christendom and to the Pope.

The Scandinvans then broke away during the ninth due to the corruption which plagued the Church during the Dark Ages and thus they formed their own Patriarch and then lived by literal Bible translation for centuries and used to justify their endless wars upon their pagan neighbors and their enslavement based upon the writings of the Old Testament. With this they came into contact with Islam during their raids upon the Moslems of Kazan The Scandinvans then latter came to partially rejoin the Catholic Church during the Crusades, supplying many fierce warriors who fought to the end there. Latter on however after the Templar were allowed to be destroyed the Scandinvans later left again in the face of such lunacy towards the crime of the French king. This though had caused the Scandinvan Patriarchs to be the ones responsible for choosing worthy Clergy to be part of a group to go through the process of elimination by the Cardinals from which one would emerge as the next Patriarch.

The Scandinvans continued their own traditions for hundreds of years till the modern times, though they no longer persecute other groups they seek to bring their own order to their Church as to be truly holy is to purify themselves as an example to others and this practice has kept the Scandinvan Catholic Church out of politics for many years, though their members of the most of the Scandinvan populace do vote for what they believe which has resulted in a conservative standings of the Empire.

With such things though has come a price as the last Patriarch has died and had not chosen a group of Cardinals to go through the testing of the Cardinals and thus a general gathering of all the Scandinvan Catholic Patriarchs has been called to select the next Patriarch. So far now all three hundred and fifty five of the Scandinvan Catholic Cardinals

Bio: Having been born into a well known and powerful noble family he was seen in his youth as an especially devout child and thus was sent by his family to receive training at seminaries across the Empire. While doing this he was able to garner an education that allowed him to assume the rank Church Priest at the young age of just 20, which was highly rare. This jump start allowed him to reach the higher ranks at a younger age then others and even became the Cardinal of the important Western Valdra dioceses at the mere age of 42, this is the position that he currently holds. Using this position he did great and is highly regard in the Scandinvan Empire’s Catholic community. His position is that in continued conservative thinking and is currently against abortion, gay marriage, alright with use of condoms, against birth control, and is on the right the other issues.

Though I do not now have migration programs and I also do not settle my people by treaty.
