exactly..its actually really annoying when someone acctually does take a lot of time to develop something thats semi-new then it gets criticized by the ns "engineers" who really gives a shit if something couldn't physically happen IRL virtually all of the NS vehicles will never existfurthermore its NS its not real plus all ur doing is running off more people who wanna play the game..and yes you shouldn't steal images that are copyrighted etc etc. getting criticized for that well you should be..but a lot of the other stuff people criticize specs wise about the transmission of a vehicle thats just insane 99.9% of ppl on NS don't have a degree in mechanical engineering or anything like that

If you attempt to design something in MT, then you should have an idea what you're doing. In FT we can generally play fast and lose with physics, since it's almost assured that there's something we can build to at least mitigate, if not negate, any portion of physics for at least a short amount of time. Only thing we don't really dick around with is time, because that makes people pissy. If, for example, you make an offroader with a manual, and expect it to be able to really compete without special equipment(I actually had some thoughts in that direction IRL, since I'm too lazy to get an automatic), and people tell you that it's a bad idea(which it is, manual is really bad for anything that's serious offroading), it shouldn't come as a surprise to you. Now, I picked offroading because it's something with which I have a passing familiarity, but it holds true for almost anything. If you design something, and it's stupid, expect to get called on it.

OOC: If you do not know how to design something properly, then you should learn how. If you refuse to learn how, use one of the many storefronts available which will gladly sell you properly designed vehicles and equipment. If you do not wish to purchase from one of the many storefronts, then there are a great variety of real-life designs you may use. If you refuse to do all of the above... well, you could atleast put some effort into your spelling. The Firefox 2 (http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/) browser has a built-in spell checker that I personally use - I think you might find it handy.

He's right. You need to know these things and calculations for really solid RPs and things like Lorrentz so you can figure out just how much time you have to fire/response/evade. Everything is in advantage of the defender in case of an attack in FT, based on the time difference.

The rules of FT should be done like FT. That means no instant speed, no vast perfect empire with only enemies and no excuses for supply lines. Yes FT does things that are impossible, but it doesn't mean you should play poorly.

Right now this storefront is poor play. He gives no useful information and focuses on nothing to justify use or make any arguement. It comes with a crazy price and similar to his battleship thread. He has no idea over what is good and what is bad, no research or even an understanding.

FT does not need to be all super formal equations and notes, but it should be full enough to give a good flow and understanding. This storefront, while support technology in MT and PMT is clearly so poorly written and totally lacking any thought. This is example of poor MT. Poor FT godmods things that cannot happen or happens in stupidly short amount of time to win or do something that is so far impossible, it is crass.

Follow the rules in the stickies and no one will complain. Just put some effort into things or don't bother with it at all. That's the moral.

What the hell does pneumatics have to do with Quantum?(learn to spell by the way) Your store sucked. You poorly copied tech from a real life source and, you took the tech you ripped and didnt even read up on it...as you claim...in popular science, because your write-ups are almost in complete contradiction to what MS LTD says about the actual product.

Okay NS for starters doesn't have any real rules regarding how you design things its more or less just a collective agreement by the people on NS..not everyone has to agree with those and could still play the game just fine..and my post wasn't even about rules or regulations..it was about how some people take NS designs to the extreme like your going to get a RL defense contract for it or something..and I stated some things people should get grilled over example the super heavy tank going 60mph with a range of 650km while using a 2000hp gas engine..that you should get grilled over and change...but for example a tank that has an internal MG similar to tanks in ww2 who cares if it makes the front armor a little weaker etc etc its still nothing to get grilled over which some people do.

As for the whole pneumatics quantum thing..he wasn't comparing the two..maybe you're the one who eats paint chips. He was making the same point I am you shouldn't have to have a degree in engineering, explosives, electronics etc etc to design something on NS..Which some people would make it seem like you would..and your use of the word nub to describe someone shows how ignorant and simple minded you are...and your other blatant personal attacks on Kurona were uncalled for..you are the only one making an poor argument by only restating things others have already said maybe you're too simple minded to form your own argument. Macabees(may have misspelled the name so I apologize)...not to insult him or anything you just said you didn't know anyone who takes the NS design thing to a very great degree therefore I have offered you just one example..and your lack of comprehension from the previous post and continuous use of the word "nub" is a clear indication of your sad lack of intellect on any level.
