Hamark to be the Invisible City

ARM Optics division has gone to great lengths in this newest creation from a side of Project Leto. The division is announcing that they can use fiber to render the city's skyscrapers defunct from all military scans. Tunnels, bridges, highways, can all be 'deleted' from visual scans and will be able to render visuals of the enemy on the otherside of buildings and walls thanks to a very low-cost upgrade.

This can only be done by a two step process. As the city is built a series of fiber cables have been installed deep undergrounds and is part of the telecommunications systems for the first section. Though other bundles of fiber are going to be used to step up military survillance and make the entire city able to have all buildings run fiber around them or through them. This fiber makes it possible to view light taken in from the other side to be seen through walls. Building mainframes (such as security systems) will benefit the military by provind real time imagery of the inside of rooms, buildings and through objects. Unlike security cameras that are bulky and invasive, the fiber promises to be a low-profile security upgrade that will revolutionize the way security is done.

When the military is in a combat situation, or need of information the fiber becomes the sole military use and can surpass the other security systems as needed. This means that the military can tap into the security system and have visual response. This can then be used to eliminate the building or other key obstructions from view and can designate enemies on the C1 command system. Effectively reducing the ability of the enemy to hide and allowing key information in the event of terrorist or criminal acts. This is expected to increase 'UAS' survivability by 150%+ as they can see their targets and positions before moving on them. So diversions and other factors can have the effect needed or desired before the assault takes place.

This technology is only practical for the actual construction of a city or new location, but the government plans to run fiber wire in already existing coastal regions to provide a national system withing the next 10 years.

OCC: I doubt this would be "low-cost"

OOC: It is cheaper then current security systems and can be controlled by a very easy process. The fiber collects light and sends them through the fiber (like a telescope). Then it is put through a computer and sends the information to a computer that requests it for data storage.

Furthermore use of this technology when applied to Miltary maps can designate an area as hostile and be used to mark battle lines and vantage points and other key information such as enemy numbers, movements. This can then be downloaded, interpretted by the onboard computer in a system of layers and can be used for real-time analysis of the battlefield.
