The streets in towns throughout the empire rumbled as thousands upon thousands of men and equipment marched through the cities heading south towards the..already some 100,000 troops forming two army groups were massed and the number only seemed to be growing.The Navy and Air forces too was mobilizing as Gatawan ships prepared to leave port and planes rebased at southern air fields...as of yet their mission was unknown..

CMI Head Quarters, Balsas

"Sir, this just came across the wire. Multiple sources of intel indicate movement of the Getaway armed forces."

A CMI officer said as he passed the intel to CMI Director Stalking Wolf.

"Inform Specter 7 to keep an eye out, anything else?"

"No sir"

The officer left and Stalking Wolf looked down at the intel. Probably would be nothing, be at least his people were perfect a top their game.

The Government Building of Darkana :

The Dictator of Darkana was aroused from his meditations by the mechanical whirring of a fax machine. He peered over to his right and spied the device sitting on a small table next to his throne, there was a fresh sheet of paper lying in the tray; he picked it up, it was a priority message from the Intelligence Bureau. It read:

Massive Army, Navy, and Air force build up in Gataway. Highly probable they are mobilizing for war.

"Gataway...." He knew of the country, he also knew that it would have no reason to attack Darkana. But there was always the possibility.....

He suddenly became aware of soft footsteps coming from his left; he turned just in time to see a hooded figure step out of the darkness.

"Do you have need of my services my Lord?" The figure asked in a voice that somehow seemed to have no distinguishing qualities.

"There is a massive troop build-up occurring in Gataway," The Dictator replied, "It is probably nothing that Darkana needs to worry about, but go see what you can unearth. Just in case. "

The figure nodded, "As you wish." Then it receded back into the darkness.

The dictator leaned back in his throne, confidant that if Darkana was in any danger he would soon know about it.

Fuhrer Richtoff could not sleep. Suddenly, a knock was heard upon his door. It was his friend, General Jorg Klischten.
Richtoff: "Come in."
Klischten: "Yes my lord. We have reports of large amounts of Gataway military mobilizing."
Richtoff: "We should have no problems. We are a peaceful nation. However, tell our troops to be ready."
Klischten: "Yes my lord."
Klischten left the room, and Fuhrer Richtoff was left alone.

"If they rise up... We will crush them."

Fuhrer Richtoff then rested, knowing he was prepared for the worst, although he knew it would not happen

Along the southern border 4 massive army groups had assembled..the reasoning was finally passed down through the chain of command..the small nation of Ruckinia was listed as a possible target for invasion as retribution for their support of Zambistan, a declared terrorist state who was likely supporting several terrorist groups found operating within Gataway.However Gataway couldn't afford another conflict with Zambistan at the moment and thus was targeting one of her supporters....For now the men rested and waited for further orders..meanwhile the Gatawan navy slipped into the southern ports all but a dozen submarines who covertly took up positions off the Ruckinian coast..several spy planes began flying recon missions over the coast line and up to 10km inland and satellite sweeps were conducted regularly.
