The Republic of Greston was attacked 5 days ago (rping time) by large group of nazis deported from Maldorian.Since then Osteia, Atlantis X, Finches Nazi Germany, Socailists State Union, Dragonflake, and New Britonia have helped fight this war.While they were fighting on Hoko beach Atlantis was nuked sinking the country into the ocean. Buda C has also invaded Greston to help the nazis.We are supicous Maldorian might help the nazis too. Sub machine gunner sergent Robert Gat and c regiment of k platoon 5th division are in charge of the battle on Hoko beach. the Atlantians have randown the hill in efforts of pushing the nazis into Jast where 20,000 Greston soilders wait. The capitol of Greston ,Easen, is now holding 30,000 soilders ready to fight. De Rage a unpopulated town in Greston has been turned into a missile pad readay to launch at any more nazi nations. Please the nazis have attacked a killed to many people and nations please help us finish this war.

How is that a World War? You're 4 years too late. NS already had World Wars 3, 4, 5, and maybe 6.

I thought people conventionally agreed to stop the World Wars after it became evident that the world became just too big for there to exist a conflict that involved or affected everyone?

Also, IIRC there was a WW7, or at least something someone claimed was WW7, but I could be remembering the thread wrong. It's been years since we last had a world war on here, literally.

I think that the only 'true' World War on NationStates was the Amerigo Slave War, or World War 3, because at the time the majority of large RPing nations (large relative to the time) were in the war. I honestly do not remember any real world war between June and December 2003, and I started World War 9 right after that (I don't consider this an NS world war - just the name of a role playing game) because somebody complained that World War 8 already existed. That means that World Wars 4,5,6,7 and 8 had taken place between April and June 2003 - I don't think so.

It did involve almost everyone, and every single populated continent in the world (or nations of). This is more true for WWII than for WWI.

[Well, actually, Spain remained netural (pro-fasicit), Argentia remained netural (pro-fasicist), Turkey remained netural (pro-Allied), etc. But it was major headlines and people actually cared about it.
