[OOC: I have changed some things in the Civil War so some of the names and such will be different.]


The Federation of Undbagarten is comprised of four Federal Republics. These are: F.R. Undbagarten, F.R. Nicobarese, F.R. Estonialatvik, and F.R. Urklesh. Unlike their fellow republics, Nicobarese had not submitted to the will of the Undbagartian government willingly. When the Nicobaresian government dismissed the idea of joining the Federation as ridiculous and completely out of the question the Federal Army invaded; under the leadership of General Trevinosky. At the time the Federal Army was much weaker than the Nicobaresian Imperial Army, but the the Nicobaresian lacked a sufficient air force and were defeated primarly because of this. When the government of Nicobarese finnally surrendered, they were admitted into the Federation and what was left of their army was absorbed into the Federal Army. This single act would set the stage for future conflict...


1900 hours~~~Moscow~~~

The Kremlin

General Trevinosky scanned the dark room, he was supposed to meet General Katiana here. He glanced at his watch, she was seven minutes late. He was about to leave when he saw her walking down the hallway towards him. There was brief history between the two of them, when Undbagarten had declared war on Nicobarese, she had been the Grand Imperial General...and he had defeated her. That was always a bitter subject which they never mentioned...it had happened twelve years ago, no sense in bringing up past wounds.

"Good evening Comrade-General." Katiana's deep blue eyes stared at Trevinosky; Trevinosky stared right back.

"Good evening to you Comrade-Katiana. Is there any particular reason why you wanted to meet me here?" he asked. He examined the closed she was wearing...a dark brown uniform and a officers cap this a single gold star on it. At her hip was a 9mm pistol. Her hand was never more than a few inches away from it.

"Yes, I suppose you heard already...the Federal Senate has repealed the seclusion law, Nicobarese can again have an army." she seemed very pleased by this. But her smile quickly turned into a serious look, "Nicobaresian men already make up sixty-three percent of the Federal Army. And the Federal Senate is going to let all those men go back to Nicobarese to become part of the Nicobaresian military...thats 75,600,000 men.

General Trevinosky looked perplexed, he had heard of this but he didn't actually think it would happen. He held no love for the Federation for his own personal reasons, but he couldn't help feeling a little worried. How could the Senate do this when they knew that the Federal government of Nicobarese had long harbored thoughts of seccesion, and had even lobbied for Nicobarese to be allowed to the leave the Federation a year ago. Allowing Nicobarese to form such a large army would just add more fuel to a fire that had been burning for years.
"Really? This is interesting, why are you telling me this, I could have found out in my own time, what is the point in telling me?" he asked.

General Katiana smiled, she had thought he would ask that. "There is no particular reason. You defeated me twelve years ago, you remember right," Trevinosky nodded, "and since than we have developed, I would say, a sort of friendship. And I know that you have no love for the Federation for putting you on trial for treason...well," she leaned forward and put her lips so close to his ear they were almost touching, "my government in Nicobarese is planning to secede and they need a good General to lead our men. They have chosen you because you were one of the few General's who tried to prevent the Federal occupation of Nicobarese. I know you were just following orders when you met me in battle. I know you didn't want to fight. Will you help us right the wrongs committed and release Nicobarese from the tyranny of the Federation?" she stepped back and waited for Trevinosky's answer.
General Trevinosky contemplated what she had just said. 75,600,000 men...under the right leadship they could win a war of secession. But that could lead to the downfall fo the Federation and years of continuous warfare. If Nicobarese could gain a few allies then maybe, just maybe, they could secede without the years of side warfare afterwards. Nicobarese wanted him, an Undbagartian General to lead their men...the Federation had made a mockery of him when he was put on trial for treason. He made up his mind.

"I will do it Comrade-General. I will help Nicobarese gain their freedom."

The two generals spoke for a minute longer, and agreed to meet in Vieannagrad in Nicobarese and discuss war plans with the other Nicobaresian Generals sent from the Federal Army. With ample luck, they might be able to lauch an offensive next year...

Meeting of the Generals

"Good morning Comrades," Katiana made a sweeping gesture looking all seven generals in the eye, "welcome home."

"Good evening Comrade-General," all the generals said in a simple monotone, most of them did not even want to be here. They had been sent from the Federal Army because it was felt that they were no longer needed. In truth, most thought, the Undbagartians just felt superior and couldn't have Nicobaresians defiling their Federal Army. Nicobarese was part of the damn Federation, willingly or not.

Katiana did not waste any time in addressing the main issue at hand. "Comrades, it is time we have broken away from this corrupt and oppressive Federation! Nicobarese has too long been looked down upon, and Nicobaresians have too long been seen as inferior to our Undbagartian overlords. They claimed to be ridding the last trace of Imperialism from the world when they conquered us...they claimed to be establishing peace in the east. They have set up a Federation that weighs down Nicobarese and sends its armies to dismantle our once great dynasty. They have enforced upon us a federal government which we did not want. Yet you served them with loyalty when you were absorbed into the Federal Army, and how do they repay your loyalty? By expelling you from the Federal Army! By treating you like you are less than dirt! By treating Nicobarese like it is a constant thorn in the side of the Federation. Well I say it is damn well time to remove this thorn! It is time to achieve independence for our once great nation. Revive the Imperial Doctrine, revive our military! Undbagarten has provided the means to do this when they sent 75,600,000 soldiers of the Federal Army to create a seperate Nicobaresian Army, because they do not want to be seen with us! The resentment has been building and with this it will spill over; we will create an army and wage war on Undbagarten until the Federation is no more!" she examined the expressions of the awestruck generals before her,

"And to help us, I have brought General Trevinosky former of the Federal Army, he was expelled from the Federal Army after being tried for treason, tried for helping us twelve years ago, when he was clearly working to defeat us. He too wishes to see the age of the oppressive Federation pass..." she motioned for General Trevinosky to step forward. Trevinosky took Katiana's place at the podium and began to speak.

"Comrades..."

"Comrades...I hope you understand the meaning of our cause. I was born an Undbagartian and I am proud of it, but I am not proud of the Federation. I have watched many times before the outrages committed against the Nicobaresians. I did not want to fight you twelve years ago. I lobbied for the removal of our soldiers when we occupied the capital. I will never be a Nicobaresian, and I will probably never gain your trust, but hear this...I will fight until my dieing breathe, I will fight until the Federation is gone forever. They have betrayed my trust...I, like you, served with loyalty,and I was put on trial for treason...as a scapegoat, because we lost several generals in the Nicobaresian capital. They thought I aided the rebel forces. They thought I betrayed my country! I would never do this. I am not turning on Undbagarten, I am aiding the destruction the corrupt government that reigns over it, and Nicobarese and the other subjegated lands. I hope that you will allow me to fight along side you comrades, if you deny me the chance to right the wrongs I have helped commit and free Nicobarese, then so be it. I will leave the country and never return. The choice is yours."

The generals all stood up after a brief moment and clasped hands with Trevinosky.
"Welcome comrade..." They said. The road to war was set, Katiana stood again and was preparing to speak again...

"My fellow generals, comrades in arms...you have heard from General Trevinosky, he is loyal to the cause. With his help we will gain independence for Nicobarese. The empire will be reborn. Today is the dawn of a new age!"

Several generals stood again and began clapping in ernest...

"We will throw off the chains of oppression. In one years time, we will be able to launch and assualt on Undbagarten and claim our rightful place as a sovereign nation. We will once again claim the glory of a masterful empire. And no longer will any people feel the sting of discrimination!"

General Trevinosky walked forward and began to speak along with Katiana.

"This new age we bring about will be of great prosperity for the Nicobaresians...and Undbagartians. I know that I, as an Undbagartian, am a little out of place here. But know that I willl try to prevent the racial discrimination that has befallen us. I am even an outcast in my own country. A petty scapegoat, to be used and thrown away like any old piece of trash. No longer will I let this happen to myself, any Nicobaresians, or Undbagartens alike! The Federation will fall for its oppression, and its illegal seizure and subsequent racial hostility towards the Nicobaresians and other conquered peoples!"

Once again all the other generals were clapping, everything the two generals were saying was right on the mark, Katiana and Trevinosky were exactly right.

So, these seperatists... sound interestin...

Konstantin Feoktistov stretched as he stood on the tarmac, having just descended the steps of his much loved AN-72. Not the newest aircraft on the market, but his daughter had immidiatly seen why the design held the nickname 'cheburashka', which resulted in her forcing him to promise not to get rid of it.
It was, all things considered, a decent aircraft. He would rather have the latest Learjet or whatever it was rich people flew these days, but it really didnt matter too much in the long run. He had rennovated the inside of the plane so heavily that the original designers would have had a heart attack. Of course, the idea of a MOBILE phone might have given them a heart attack by itself.
Feoktistov was theoretically here to sell little dials that fitted into natural gas pipes to some high nobbity nob. He had even brought some with him. In theory.
In actuallity he had previously arranged to meet with certain dissatisfied elements of the Unbagarten military with regards to the conveyance of items of a weapon or weapon-like nature to their cause. In fact, he was presently carrying an example of such a device in his jacket, a very fine IKO-08 9mm.
All things considered, however, Undbagarten seemed rather pleasant. It was rather homelike, really.

"Konstantin Feoktistov, nice to meet you comrade, somebody from you home government sent a message to one of my senior officers announcing that you would be arriving soon..."General Katiana glanced toward the aircraft, "Comrade Konstantin Feoktistov why do you travel in such a small, and outdated airplane, surely your government can afford to visit upon you a better means of transportation," She looked back at Konstantin Feoktistov, "no matter...do you have the merchandise?"

Of course I do not have a large amount with me, but the Imperckaya Kompaniya Oruchiya has seen fit to provide me with...examples, shall we say?" Konstantin grinned, "Shall we retire indoors? Or to the plane, if you like. Either is acceptable for our purposes in this matter...ah, comrade."

"General Trevinosky?" Comrade Katiana asked.

"Yes, this is he." answered Trevinosky, his voice barely audible on the tarmac of the Nicobaresian Capital Airport. Katiana held a hand over her other ear as she spoke into the transmitter.

"Comrade Konstantin Feoktistov is here, we should be arriving shortly."

"Good, be fast comrade, we do not want the Federation getting suspicios, what with foriegn diplomats landing in Ultmin, rather than Moscow. A foreign diplomat really has no business in Nicobarese whether it be in Vieannagrad or not. Just hurry Katiana."

"Will do comrade," Katiana hung up and turned back torward Konstantin Feoktistov, "shall we go?"

"Comrade Konstantin Feoktistov, I have a helicopter waiting to transport us back to Vieannagrad...is that acceptable?" Katiana waited only a second for an answer, then pushed on forward "So these examples, do you need some of my people to pick them up off the plane or are they small enough to be transported back to Vieannagrad along with us in the chopper?"

"How large is your helicopter? I have six crates, six foot long, two wide." Konstantin gestured back to the plane, "Let us say, a hundred pounds a piece. Is your helicopter capable of taking that sort of load?"

Ah, a Nicobaresian sympathizer, thankyou, it seems that everyone is joining in on the side of the Nicobaresians and not the Federal Army of Undbagarten, I am starting to think the Federation is screwed.

"We shall leave now," Katiana said, "we will arrive in Vieannagrad in about two hours." I hope we don't run into any trouble on the way, I don't know if the Federalists have spotted the plane when it arrived, Katiana thought. "After you comrade."

OOC: So far war has not been declared, and nothing really has happened, I am just setting the stage. Two Generals, Katiana, and Trevinosky met in the Kremlin in Moscow a few days ago and now both reside in Vieannagrad the capital of the Federal Republic of Nicobarese, they are preparing to secede from the Federation for a number of reasons. It is odd the Trevinosky is helping because he is an Undbagartian himself, but he is fighting with Katiana to free Nicobarese for his own personal reasons which will be revealed in more detail later. So far Nicobaresian officials have secretly met with a foreign agent named Konstantin Feoktistov, he is supposed to help supply the Nicobaresians with better weapons. It is really just a pan of hot water getting ready to boil over.

The sides are:

The Nicobaresians- Led by General Trevinosky and General Katiana
The Federation- Has not be RP'ed yet
Outside Invaders- self-explanatory

"You will be pleased to know that the Imperial Arms Corporation apparently has an interest in this little war, the have authorized me to negotiate the supply of a number of our newest model tanks to you, as well as advanced missile systems and so forth."

"That is absolutly fantastic comrade, I am glad that our war against the oppression of the Federation of Undbagarten has attracted some international attention. I do hope that the Federation remains oblivious to our plans for a while longer though. We just aren't prepared." said Katiana; she reached up and tapped the pilot on the shoulder, "if you please." she gestured that she would like to takeoff.

"Yes, Comrade General." the pilots name was Ihgor Ustaov, he was a young man of maybe twenty-six...he would not live to see twenty seven.

Katiana looked at here phone, it had started shaking, who could be calling now, surely it wasn't Trevinosky.

"Yes..." it was in fact General Trevinosky, he seemed to be in a fit of hysteria, it took several seconds for Katiana to be able to hear through the background noise, it sounded like gun-fire.

"Katiana, land damnit, I don't care where you are, just land, fighters are on their way to shoot you down! We have been discovered...Federal troops are pouring into the city as we speak. Land and get away,go to Keldin in Urklesh, I will meet you there...! Die you basta-" he was abruptly cut off by a haze of static.

"Well, comrade, there has been a change of plans, we have to land this aircraft, it is too dangerous too remain in the air, I will send some trusted men to retrieve the samples. Unless you would feel safer just destroying them here, since they are too heavy to bring with us." Katiana looked very pale at the moment. She was afraid for the first time in a long time.

All of the small arms are working models." He casually locked a clip into place.

"I am truly sorry for this comrade. I was hoping that the Federation would not discover this....war may come to your country for this. I am sure they tracked your plane; to have been able to discover us so quickly. I don't know....pilot, take us down. When we are a good distance away fly towards the Chinese border. We have allies there."

"Yes comrade..." a few minutes after Katiana and Konstantin had left the helicopter, Ustaov took off again. Before he hit three-hundred feet the helicopter blew up in a fire storm.

Katiana looked up a Konstantin, "He was new and I didn't trust him....I couldn't risk him getting caught with those weapons. I rigged the helicopter with some explosives just after you had started to walk away. Say a prayer for him will you..." Katiana withdrew her pistol and loaded it. "We have far to go, and not enough time to get there comrade, lets leave before some curious Federal soldiers discover the crash."

Konstantin nodded, "I had considered the same course of action, but I did not want to appear...rude." The man shrugged, "Perhaps it would be wisest to pray later, it has long been the philosophy of the church in Dontgonearthere that God helps only those who help themselves." He pulled the bolt on the assault rifle back and flicked the safety off, "Which way do we head?"

But-if help should not appear, then we are in for one hell of a trek comrade. Lets go." Katiana took the lead.
"I wish we would have had more time..."

"Goddamit, move you bastards!" Trevinosky ushered several men throught the hallway, he took a deep breath then spun around unloading a clip into several Federal soldiers. "DIE!" he screamed as he unloaded another clip into several more Federal soldiers... he was stunned by the sharp pain in his chest, he looked down....a red blotch on his shirt was spreading, he fell to his knees. His wound was not fatal, but very, very painful. He heard the sharp retort of boots marching down the hallway in his direction...

"Well, well, well, if it isn't my old friend General Trevinosky. Get this piece of shit out of my face!" several Federal soldiers stooped down and picked up Trevinosky, one of them tended to his wound, even though it was not fatal, it still posed a threat to his health.

"Were do you want us to put him Comrade-General Wycoff?"

"I don't care, get him out of here...the Secretary-General along with the President will be here tomorrow to speak with him. Keep him alive until then."

"Yes, sir!" General Wycoff stooped down and picked up the assault rifle, he snorted in disgust and threw it to the ground.

"These Nicobaresian bastards will pay for their transgressions. The Federation will not perish!" he said to himself.

"So, Comrade, since this is bound to be a long walk. Tell me about yourself and your country. Mine is in turmoil, or at least making great headway towards it. I know little of your countries history. Enlighten me, please."

Well, until someone else joins, I can't move the story forward, so far everything is hinged on Katiana and the guy RPed by dontgonearthere, and he is offline right now, so I guess I am up shitcreek without a paddle at the moment.

President Hyvonstav grimiced as he scanned over the report in front of him. Nicobaresian rebels, foriegn diplomats, suspected arms dealers. His country was falling apart around him. He pinched the bridge of his nose as he continplated his next move. He had long expected a Nicobaresian revolt, but this was too soon. Hyvonstav looked up as an urgent knock on the door, rang through the room.

"Come in." it was General Vonhivik. A short stout, ruthless sonofabitch, but he was damn good at his job, and that was keeping the Nicobaresians in line.

"Mr.President, we have stormed the Palace at Vieannagrad and have captured General Trevinoksy. General Katiana is believed to be out in the country side somewhere. But we are keeping a watch for her as well. Oh, and the general leading the execution of the storming of the Imperial Palace, General Wycoff, has sent me a letter asking for a delay in the execution of the traitors. What do you want to do?"

President Hyvonstav looked up and in a deadly whisper said, "Tell General Wycoff to bring him here, and the other traitors as well, I want to see their bodies fall when they are shot in Red Square tomorrow!"

"Yes, sir. Mr.President." he turned to leave, but the President called him back.

"General Vonhivik, I want you to get the Foreign Advisor for Errikland land on the phone, we cannot destroy this threat alone."
