Threat Behemoth Tank

OOC: I didn't make this model, although I AM using it with permision from the model maker. Please don't run around saying that you made it. Thanks.

IC: After recent military debates, the Theoropian government has decided to release the Threat Behemoth Tank, an original Theoropian design. Below is a reference picture for any potential buyers.

As you can see, the tank is huge and armed to the teeth with the latest weaponry. Not only does this fact make the Threat Tank one of the better tanks today, it also makes it expsensive. Below is a list of the weaponry and specs of the tank itself.

OOC:
gatling guns = fail. Seriously gatling guns are OK for CIWS on ships and for aircraft mountings but for a land vehicle they are to a large extent superflous. A single coaxial mounted single barrel cannon(be it recoil, gas or externally operated) of the same calibre would do the job just as well.

I would suggest using a picture of soemthign that would eb praxtical as a tank, the current model, while a very good lego creation has a numebr of very serious issues, namely a massive amount of unnessicary surface area, track units that are far too far appart and a complete alck of armour on the turret.

SAMs aren't really needded or desirable on a proper tank, leave them to your supporting vehicles as other wise your already over worked crew is goign to suffer break downs.

For a 3 man crew you really need: driver, gunner and tank commander, with an autoloader to service the main gun, if you don't havean autoloader then you need a 4th crew member even before yous tart thinking rear mounted machine guns (which would be superflous if all your weaponry was moutned in a proper turret).

As for prices: $3-5million is about average for a M1 Abrams level tank, a good high tech tank can easily go for $10-15million

OCC: I like the Gatling guns. I thought that they would be practical as an anti infantry weapon. And one look at them would make me want to run anyway.

I know. But I couldn't find any models on the internet, and I suck at Paint.

The SAMs are automated, and the driver can turn them on and off. They can also be used as a mortar weapon. This tank is more of a "siege" tank than anything else.

Fixed.

Fixed.

Thanks.

OOC:
It doesn't help that you don't actually make any mention of what type of ammo you gatling guns are using (which in Rl rnages from 7.62x51mm all the way up to 30x173mm). Gatling guns (and chainsaws for that matter) aren't really going to affect how much enemy infantry is going to be afraid of a tank.
2 pair of gatling machine guns might be useful if you were facing a horde of infantry rusing at you but you would almsot never seen that, for a tank these days infantry targets tend to be small and fleeting and a decent GPMG would deal with them pretty effectively.
gatling guns are only of use where you want to fill a large volume of space with lots of roudns very quickly or where your firing paltform is already unstable so you need volume of fire to counter act the inaccuracy issues, niether of which apply to a tank, all a gatling does is add additional complciations and weight.
