Lithotlegn:
Kithlaos, the current leader of the council of Kenysthuggo, stood looking out of one of the many spires in the city looking out onto the one ocean on their home world. Almost all of the water on the planet was part of this ocean, and all of it was drinkable. The city was Gggnaelom and it was the capital of Lithotlegn and the capital of the entire Gghuakrugo Empire, and the council of Kenysthuggo controlled the city of Gggnaelom and he controlled the council. He controlled the largest empire known to the Gghuakrugo....well there was one other. He wondered what they should do about these others.
Grand Convocation Chamber, Alliance Senate, Vampad. 1400 hours.
The empty Senate hall was in silence, a day before the debate on the critical issue of the creation of a military expansionary fleet. The issue had been kept at the bottom of every other issue in the Senate, but it would soon finaly be discussed.
On one side of the vote sat the Alliance Loyalists; Senators who had spent their entire political careers defending how the Alliance had existed generations before. On the other side sat military-minded Senators who believed that in order for the Alliance to grow and defend itself, it needed to believe in pre-emptive defence and aggressive expansion. The upcoming vote would decide whether a new fleet be commissioned to carry out this fact.
Chief of State Keeler sat in his office chambers adjacent to the Senate Halls. He was gazing intently out of the window at the clouds that were licking the tops of the many skyscrapers on Vampad. A large transport broke through the cloudcover and began a descent onto a landing pad.
One of the Chief of State's advisors entered the office and placed a file relating to the vote on his desk and cheerfully walked out again. Keeler swiveled his chair around to the desk and sighed outwardly, picking up the file and bringing it closer to his face.
This thing is going to cost alot, he mused as he ran through the budget numbers of the new fleet.

Executive Collin to make Groudbreaking Speech at State of the Confederation Address
By Fredrich Heinz
For years, Representative Dictator Patrick Collin has been a great reformer for the Dirikian Confederation. He has worked tirelessly to centralize the goverment, improve documentation scientific and philosophical R&D, upgrade the military and unify our people against the growing shadow of invasion.
His good work, however, has been seen as prehaps a tad extreme by conservatives within the Parliament. His stautchest opponent Raul Kove has frequently stated, "[Executive Collin] seems to want to do away with the 'representative' part of his title." Such words seemed true after Collin was narrowly elected in a bitter and, according to conspiricy theorists, suspicious election. Now, however, Patrick Collin seems prefectly intune with his people as a staggering 70% of the population approves of the increased centralization and militarization the Collin Administration has organized. More and more people are beginning to fear the shadowy menaces beyond our sight.
Insiders within the Executive Office have been saying for the past few weeks that the upcoming State of the Confederation was to provide some glimmer of the Rep. Dictator's grand scheme for the Confederacy, and just yesterday the Collin's Press Secretary confirmed these statements: "The Executive has shown some of his policy over these last three years. Obviously, he supports the centralization and defence of our admittedly disorganized and poorly defended state. His speech tomarrow will outline with greater detail what exactly he plans to do over the next year of his first term and, hopefully, the next four years of his second. He has also stated that he hopes the speech will bring greater focus on our place in the galaxy and how we might change it for the better."
The still embittered conservitives, who are gathering much needed ammo for next years elections, are bound to focuses quite intently on Collin's speech. We here at Dirikian Times Headquarters are hoping it goes well for the Executive and eagerly anticipate more knowledge on his grand plan for Dirik.

Ahuiliztli peered towards the sun, his Kurindian eyes burning. In his hand he carried a primitive heat weapon, and he was on the prowl. He lifted his fist into the air, signaling for his warbanders to stop. Ahuiliztli fully exploited the Kurindian sense of smell, and detected something new....some new kind of smell.
Ahuiliztli signaled, and his band moved forward, through the glowing fungi oif the moon called Madra. They could smell fire.....but fire on Madra? The Kurindian bodies had no need for fire. So what was burning?
The band was at full speed now, dodging predators and hunting for this strange new smell. Onward the ran, paying no heed to what were surely very tired muscles.
Suddenly they stopped.
Just in front of them was a ship...with beings (http://tatooine.fortunecity.com/eventhorizon/34/Conquest.jpg) exploring the area. They were taking samples of various fungi, and had not noticed the now hidden Kurindians. Ahuiliztli tingled with excitement.
His warband burst from the bushes, and fired thier weapons on the ship. The explorers were suprised, and tried to run. Ahuiliztli cut one off and slammed his gun into its fragile stomach. His warband took the remaining six down. Thier guns pointed at the frightened creatures shivered in fear. Ahuiliztli bent low, his crocidile teeth jutting from his lower jaw. Drool dripped from his saurian "lips."
"You there? Do you understand me?" Ahuiliztli spoke in a tenor that sounding like he had been more bellowed rather then spoken. One of the aliens nodded in approval.
"We understand you."
"How?"
"Our species is telepathic."
"Then you know what I'm going to do to you?" Ahuiliztli grinned.
"......yes."
Ahuiliztli burst from the skull of his Kurindian slave, the body dropping like a bloody and wet rag. His warband siezed the alien, holding him down as he screamed for mercy. Ahuiliztli scuttled towards him, until finally latching on to the aliens skull. He burst through the soft skull, and climbed over and onto the brain. His tail quickly healed the hole, and as he devoured the brain his body took on its neurons. In effect his body was now the brain.
Ahuiliztli smiled in delight as he picked up on the thoughts of the scared aliens around him, and as he selected which one of his warband would go next....

We have traveled for many long months in hyperspace trying to plot a new root to the other side of this galaxy and we have stumbled upon your system and picking up that you had a good number of ships with FTL capabilities we request we be allowed into your system to either re-supply our and/or trade with your people as we bring a vast assortment of material goods from our vast area of space which we think you will find useful.
As well, we are willing to bequeath some of our more of our basic maps and some of our technologies to you if you agree to allow us to re-supply. Also, we have a representative from the Order whom can open diplomatic relations between our two governments if you desire.
So please respond well to this and if not we shall leave your system to continue on our course.

"Tlachinolli, are you there?" The Kurnidian was careful not to rattle his chains. The cave housed several of his species, who would soon be bodies for the oppressive Yeerks.
"I am here. What is it you want, Ehecatl?"
"Tommorow we die."
"I know this! Pray the gods that you not remind me again!"
"I mean...if we're going to die....why don't we put up a fight?"

The ship Godslayer (http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b308/psychicwraith/Ships/Godslayer.jpg) was in orbit around the fire planet Barayao, a newly claimed planet of the Supremacy. This world was a massive volcanic world, entirely devoid of life but still useful to the Supremacy.
Aboard the ship, Admiral Hayao Katao stood at the helm, focused sadly with his platinum-coloured eye upon the volcanic world.
"Admiral, an engineering ship will be on their way from the homeworld in 2 cycles to stake full claim over the new planet," said the Patharch Yaocha. "They will then begin placing a matrix for the geothermal power planets. We can begin harvesting right away."
The admiral breathed heavily and said, "Fine, I will stay here until they are at least a cycle away," Hayao walked away from the view of the planet towards his quarters. Yaocha followed.
"Admiral, what is wrong? We have added another planet under our glorious power. Shouldn't you be happy?"
Hayao looked at the patharch and said, "What is the point? This is the 15th dead world we have found in this galaxy. And the other livable planets had nothing on it. No sapient life. Nothing," he breathed heavily through his neck slits and sat down on his bed. "At the beginning of the Sovereign Expansion, I was excited. Hoping to meet new and intelligent life forms. Hoping to share with them the gift of Tetria and the knowledge we possess while learning from them as well. But we have found nothing. And what more, the council is wary of traveling too far out into the galaxy. They fear that we will get lost."
"Admiral, the galaxy is a large place. One could get lost and never find their way back home to Tetriarchon," said Yaocha.
"That's what I want. The danger. The excitement," Hayao sighed one more time. "Let's just get the protocol over with ok?"
"Aye admiral. I will begin the Patharch Navigation Sequence to get to the next known world."
Yaocha went to the Patharch Helm and sat. Several nodes attached to Yaocha as he relaxed for a bit and cleared his mind. His mind searched for the nearest world, hoping to find some voices in the cosmos. There, he heard something. Faint, yes...very faint. Yaocha could barely hear them. He needed to focus harder. His mind centered strongly on the world, trying harder and harder to pinpoint it.
The Admiral saw the ship take lock on the position of the planet. The voices filled the helm as he heard the cries of people laughing and crying. These were not Tetriarchs. These were different. Alien.
"Pilot! Ready the Falling Drives! We need to get to that location immediately!" yelled Hayao. This was the moment he had been waiting for all of his life.
"Sir, the lord's of Tetriarchon won't approve of this. Intergalactic travel this far away from the border is prohibited," said the pilot.
"Son, you have alot to learn about exploring. We came looking for sapient beings and we may have just found them. I am sure of it. We must go."
The pilot turned on the Falling Drives and they sped faster and faster towards the planet with life. It would take about four cycles to reach them but it would be worth it. At least Hayao hoped.

G.E.F. Orutarte-anot, boarder of Gghuakrugo Space:
The crew of the Gghuakrugo Empire Flagship Orutarte-anot wondered what this mission was. They were told it was a simple exercise but what exercise required an entire Gghuakrugo fleet? They were not sure and many of them did not expect to make it home alive but they did their very best like they had been trained from birth to do.
Bridge of G.E.F. Orutarte-anot:
Captain O'ugggushamag sat at the small table on the upper area of the bridge looking at the simulated bodies of other captains in the fleet, with space as the background through the see through metal. He might only have the rank of Capitan but he was the Captain of this flagship and therefore the commander of the fleet. He looked at the Captain of the communications ship, designed to send communications into deep space. "How are the communications coming? Have we established anything? Do we even know if they are picking up our signals?" he gnashed out, their large teeth not good for complicated communication but they could understand each other. The Gghuakrugo Empire was well aware of the nation beside them but so far they did not communicate back and forth. The captain nodded "We know these messages are going at least to the edge of our known space, they are reaching as deep into the space we know of theirs and probably farther. They just have not responded yet." The Gghuakrugo was trying to sound meek and subservient, not something that they could portray very often. "Well make sure they do reply or it will be your head." O'ugggushamag yelled and then shut off contact with the ship. The seemingly real body of the captain flickered away into nothingness to show the com link had been severed. He glared at the captain of the scanning ship "Keep scanning and report the instant you find anything." Then he broke his com link letting them chat between themselves if they so choose, he didn't care one way or another.
OOC: Maybe one of the other people could pick up the signal by mistake. The signal is several attempts at communication using math and pictograms also a few simple Gghuakrugo phrases such as hello, for the empire, we will not kill you.

Bridge of G.E.F. Orutarte-anot, boarder of Gghuakrugo Space:
Captain O'ugggushamag walked back to the table, the com link button was flashing. He turned it on and let out a guttural sound when he saw who it was. The captain of the communications ship again. It had only been a minute or two since he shut it off, no way had they gotten a reply. "Ah sir? I have some news. We have picked up a reply to our signal but it is not from the people we were trying to communicate with."
Captain O'ugggushamag looked at him in surprise and rage "WHAT? Are you saying there are others out there and they replied to our message? How? We were not sending it to them." The captain took a step backwards even though he was only looking at a hologram
"I, I, I don't know sir. We were sending it on a broad channel it must have gone farther and in a wider cone then we thought. There are some of that script we have found on a few of the ruins on some of the planets. You know those weird characters that we have no clue what they are of, the ones that all we know is they are far older then us."
O'ugggushamag nodded, he knew these characters well. At one point he even had dreams of finding and making the creators of the script slaves for the Empire and he would do it single handedly. That was back when he was a captain of the raider ships and not a figure head like he was now. "Send it back to Lithotlegn. Everything we received. We have to continue our mission. Try to trace the message and establish contact with the ship that send it though."
The captain nodded. "Yes sir." After the com link was turned off he narrowed down the area and sent the characters back wondering if he would get a response.

Council Chambers for the Council of Kenysthuggo on Lithotlegn,:
Kithlaos stood in his spot looking over the filled council chambers. He had to make this good, most of the councilors were mad because of the emergency meeting called. It was not a time for the council to be in session. "Councilors, friends, let my start by apologizing for calling this meeting. I know most of you were probably out hunting slaves as is the proper thing to do with one's free time." At this remark he got what passed for chuckles and he smiled knowing he at least started right. "As you have no doubt heard we received a communication from a alien nation. No this is not the one we have been trying to reach this is one we have never heard of. They sent us some of the characters we have found on old ruins on conquered planets. They have also sent us a map telling us exactly where they are. It is as if they want to be our slaves." This time he got laughs and he knew they were in his pocket. Now for the hard part. "Before we mobilize a full invasion fleet I suggest we send an expedition fleet. A small fleet that can hold its own in battle to scout out and probe and maybe even make first contact with these aliens. At the first sign of trouble we can send a full invasion fleet and make short work of our foes. What do you say?" The council chambers were filled with roars and soon after preparations were being made to set a fleet off into space to the location on the map.

The Ramio fleet got a simple reply back. "The fleet is on its way and should be within hailing distance very soon."The ship replied," We shall wait for you here then."
In the meantime more Ramio ships were gathering at the location.

Ehecatl stood amazed at the weapon before him. How strange it was, its sheer sight giving it a strange hypnotic like quality. Ehecatl looked to the members of the "Order." He spoke to them in a hushed tone. "w-what powers does this weapon hold? And who are these eternals you speak of. Forgive me, Lord-of-the-stars, for I am but a slave."The Order member replied," I am no lord or mighty ruler, but a meer servant to the Order which maintains the ancient gifts of the Eternals for the greater good. Yet, the Eternals themselves were ancient beings which more then a hundred million years ago created a golden age in which all sentient life in the galaxy prospered, but then they left far before any of our species had entered space yet they left us with many relics, gifts, and ideas which form the core of many of our societies today and we try to live by their example today. As for the staff it holds the power to do miracles such as raise storms of fire, heal any wound, be protected from the parasite, give you the ability to imbue yourself with the strength beyond any creature of this planet, and many other powers we do not know."

"What glory! Truly such servents serve powerful and mighty gods! I take this staff, and shall cleanse the Yeerk from my people and the planet! And the thirst of this world shall be slaked with blood at the fields of carnage...A staggering sea of crimson, a towering mountain of ravaged flesh, all enraptured by the searing kiss of steel, all surfeit from supping deep of the grim chalice of battle. Brooding gods of the sky, display to the Yeerk thralls thine ire, envenom our blades with the death-kiss of a thousand serpents,
unfetter the dread war-beasts within us, that their claws may rend, and their jaws may be reddened."
He held the staff high above his head, its crystal pulsating with a red light, as he shouted.
"The bloodying is at hand! We, who once crested the waves of the great astral sea...and who now must strive again for the domination of the stars...we are free... free to rule! It is time... it is time! For more than ten times a thousand years have we slept on this cratered, lifeless stone! We have heard the sighing of a thousand souls, now at last we shall hearken once more to the siren call of the cosmos!"
He turned to face the Slave Camp where he had come from.
"Ah, the Alpha and the Omega. As all life was created from Chaos...
so shall it be DESTROYED!!! Yeerk kind shall tremble whent they hear my name, for no longer shall I be called Ehecatl, the foul name of a slave! For here forth, the divine justice of the Eternals shall be called...Zaighothait!!!"
Zaighothait lifted his staff into thw air, channeling his hate and rage into, turning the crystal to red unseen but on a star, and commanded a inferno ro rise from the ground. The camp was engulfed in flame, so hot as to burn white. Zaighothait watched with glee as Yeerk controlled Kurindians melted, the Yeerks themselves trapped in thier very skulls.
"Yeerk-kind, how ignorant thou art. Yes, death glides silently on gossamer soft wings, but her touch is harsh!"

To gain a great place in all one must take one's own action to deliver oneself to their desired place."
With that they left in a beam of light.

In a matter of moments the freed slaves of the camp were around Zaighothait. They swore thier lives to him, and eagerly picked up what weapons remained from "The Burning." Zaighothait felt like a god. His body seemed brighter, his scales were turning a bright red, and his teeth had grown longer.
"Zaighothait, how did you get such a weapon?" asked one of his new warriors.
"I was visited by servents of the gods, the Eternals! Know now that for us to be free we must find salvation with them."
"What do they want of us, oh great Zaighothait?" asked an older slave.
"To Ascend. To be free. To crush the Yeerks where no memory of them may remain. To rule as we once did! This world is a Yeerk world, and so it shall burn as well!"
"Where shall we go then? What world will would we call home?" Zaighothait paused. H did not know. Th legends spoke of Kurindia being far, far away. How could he fond it? And yet, he couldn't allow his people to live here.
My people. I like that.
He remembered the initial words of the servents of the gods. "The Eternals shall once more return, and lead us to a utopian world where we can once again span the galaxy!"
"Glory to Zaighothait, Chosen of the Gods!" His followers chanted, lifting thier weapons into the air.
"The Eternals know all! Beyond the spheres of light and darkness, beneath distant pallid stars, they bring the iridescent glimmer of forbidden truth, seared in the crucible of blasphemy! For amorphous they shall come, steeped in the fetor of ten thousand years, Abhorrent colossi spawned from the sinistrous cosmic spheres. And upon their tongues, vile secrets so terrible sweet madness is a redolent balm!"
Confederacy of Order Trade Fleet Message to the Dirik Government:
A bit of chaos sprouted from this message from the stars. It was the first outside contact for many years and the Representative Dictator's administration had to act smoothly. According to their own doctrines, they were to be highly isolationist in order to centralize and militarize. However, Patrick Collin also would need to give the military some knowledge about the galaxy and its threats.
Conservatives within the cabinet prompted a gracious refusal while Progressive Liberals and Militarists approved some trade of materials and information with this race. Normally, he would have agreed with the Conservative Party on this one, but he remembered from his college history of the beneviolence of The Order. He had his Intersteller Foriegn Affairs Diplomat, Angelia Laoghaire, sned back a message prompting trade between The Order and the Dirikian Confederacy (http://img338.imageshack.us/img338/2590/dirikji6.jpg).

Representative Dictator Patrick Collin, Executer of the People's Will, has informed me that you and your people are welcomed into Dirikian controlled space. The Federal Orbital Platform named Fromont is marked and is being prepared for your arrival.
Though, we are very cautious as to your intentions, we hope our people might work together to further our technologies and knowledge of the galaxy. Our military leaders and cheif interstellar navigators hope to swap knowledge as to the factions and terrain of our galaxy.
Since the Executive is attempting to unified our people into a more centralized goverment, we request that you do not preach any overly religious rhetoric or attempt to convert anyone. Such action may result in violence against you or, in the future, against our own kind.
Welcome to the Dirikian Confederacy and thank you for following our requests. We hope our people might learn and help eachother in these increasingly tense times.

Hayao stood at the helm as they neared their destination. Yaocha was straining harder than any Patharch had ever had to before. Although he was worried about Yaocha, a part of Hayao wanted to meet this race beyond all costs.
It had been three cycles and they were nearing their destination. Yaocha was sweating from the strain of tracking the planet. His brain felt as if it were on fire as his synapses were being scorched by the sheer concetration of his mind. Still, they would be there shortly. Just one more cycle...

The State of the Confederacy Address:
The Political Broadcast Station displayed its stand by screen while the Dictator was being prepped, which was the national flag with the words "Progression, Protection, Productivity" displayed near the bottom. They were the words that science and philosophy rallied around, words that were used more frequently than ever during the previous election and every time the Collin Adminstration was involved. The Executive was bringing new life into these old words.
Patrick Collin stood nerviously behind the podium as he waited for his que to begin his speech. The elected Dictator was a rather tall man with a rather large triangular nose and disorganized, straight brown hair that was consistently pushed to the right. His face was covered in a fine stubble of an absent minded man and his fingers were curled and worn.
He was a man of science and technology, and like most of those intellectuals he prefered things to be simple, comfortable and operational. Even for this important address he wore khakis, tennis shoes and a polo shirt, which by Dirikian standards was quite a bit dressed up for non-military personal. The red light signalling five seconds to air time blinked and the Executive hastily brushed his banks to the left in an act of nerviousness.

"Good evening, citizens of Dirik. Just two days ago I was prepared to devote this entire time to outlining my plan for the future of our nation, but it appears we've gained the attention of our intersteller neighbors.
A race calling themselves "The Order", contacted our nation just yesterday to ask, of all things, for some gas. Our limited knowledge of the other interstellar nations has provided some insight on The Order. From what we know they are highly advanced, highly beneviolent and highly religious. The religious thing, as we know from our own history, is incredibly devastating but those other two parts made this an opportunity too good to pass up. Though it is a risky move, we have decided to open our doors to these explorers for the Order and have stated our interest in exchanging knowledge. I ask that these potential allies be left without harm or inconvience on their stop least these xenophobic actions create consequences for us all."
"That news taken care of, I'd now like to address my plan for our future. As any bright mind knows, Dirik is a very decentralized nation. Census Tabulators estimate that atleast three hundred thousand people do not vote and have no record of birth. We have a city's worth of people who have no proof of citizenship! My critics state that my centralizing of the state is merely to allow me authoritarian control, but looking at the chaotic state of things we cannot progress scientifically like this. Centralization will not only help the military and goverment, but sciences and philsophy. How can an engineer develop more advanced propulsion if he has no records of other theories of the field. How can a theory of the workings of the universe be founded without knowing all the other theories. So far our wireless networks have provided the brunt of this for our men and woman designing the future, but it is beginning to show its limitations.
My plans of centralization are simple. We need to have a better beuracracy to process documentation better, better documentation will help to better organize reasource which will allow our people of science to progress our nation.
We need a better military to protect our citizens. We also need a military to protect our interests. Dirik and recycled material will only last for so long as resources, we will at some point exhaust these or lower them to a point where we cannot sustain productivity. This is unacceptable for us. Do we not value productivity, progress and our protection? I believe we do. I believe in order to protect our production, our progress and our selves it is necessary to expand our military and begin a program of colonization. A most radical approach, I realize, but I feel it to be necessary for our future interests as a nation. As it is now, most of our population lives in floating conglamerations of ships. These people deserve some solid ground, fresh air and fresh water. This task seemed very difficult several days ago, but the arrival of The Order could provide us with some of the know-how to make this colonization project easier.
"I'm sorry if this speach seemed long winded, but I had a lot that had to told to our loyal citizens. We've got a hard road ahead of us but I'm sure with an open mind, worker's soul and a bit of devotution to the nation, it could be done without a relatively short time. Thank you all for listening to my rhetoric and good night!"

Xlex was ablaze. In just three short days, Zaighothait had formed a large empire of Kurindians. The Yeerks were shocked at first, but quickly reacted, and the entire planet was engulfed in war. The bodies were stacked high, and indeed the atmosphere was heavy with the stink of slaughter. Zaighothait could not be stopped. his staff giving him powers unparralled.
During one battle he had summoned demons from the other side, thier gibbering forms materializing from seemingly nothing. These creatures had swpet across the battlefield, and engulfed an entire continent, stripping it of all but the faithful. During another occasion Zaighothait had commanded the very planet to heave with volcanic fervour, spewing its contents onto Yeerk cities, erasing any sign they had even existed.
The Yeerks had offered peace and a partioning of the planet several times, but Zaighothait's rage could not be quenched. Followers quickly viewed him as a god, and temples were erected in his name. How could Zaighothait object? How could he even convince himself that he had not been made into a god?
Victory was close now, the Yeerk species having been cut down by 63%. More and more flocked to Zaighothait, even as his actions became directly responsible for the impending death of the planet. Soon Zaighothait's plans would be complete, and his people would ascend to the stars....

New navigation points? New planets? A newborn colonial policy? Things could not have been going better for Patrick Collin.

"To note, we were never meant to do anything here save obtain a few trade agreements with you and to refuel as all we are is just a small trading fleet that is currently on a massive trade route which leads to the edge of the galaxy.
As well, we must sadly say that we cannot directly send a representatvie to meet, but we have sent with this message the location of the worlds and of the routes safe to come to them by.
Furthermore, we give you a further update on your engines to allow you to reach outer solar systems within a few hundred light years in about a coupel of days.
We hope that we prove not to be a trouble from this."
With further issues pressing upon the Representative Dictator, he was forced to reply quickly to this newest message:
"Well, if formal diplomacy cannot be reached at this time, we'd be happy to receive trade relations and advanced FTL drive technology in exchange for fuel, supplies, safe passage and our good will. The CSS Guardian will be at your location shortly. Since you are obviously in some hurry, it will be outfitted for giving supplies and fuel. The vessel will then procede to escort your vessel through Dirikian Space. Good luck!"

Wild Space on the Dirikian Border
"I've always hated Wild Space..." complained Comm Officer Olsen
"Quit your whining, Ensign. Just keep sending that message over the localized frequencies." barked Captain Kobayashi Akira, "Keep on alert, I feel no reason to trust these aliens, despite whatever the egg heads in historical records say!"
"Aye sir. It's just so dead and lifeless out here." explained Olsen as he pressed the "send" button once more playing the pre-recorded message: "Guardian to Order Traders, if you hear this we are near your location. Please respond."
The CSS Guardian (http://mynetimages.com/b8d18993_md.jpg)was an ancient destroyer-carrier from the days of The Wanderings. It had, of course, been constantly modified by overzealous engineers but at heart it remained the ship of lore that victoriously defended the nomadic fleet for centuries. Its name was earned well during those eons. Now, it was both a holy relic and diplomatic craft. It usually carried political VIPs where they needed to be and orbited Dirik.
Captain Kobayashi Akira, a staunch nationalist of distant Asian descent, thought the Guardian deserved better. The ship had served the Dirikians innumerable times and now was merely a fancy flyer for politicians. He hoped a war might bring an end to this disservice to the military. Although, he was almost certain the Dictator was right in his approachment of these aliens. Dirik would need allies in any war it might fight, and this Order seemed to fit the bill.

So they replied," We thank you for your agreement to supply us and in turn we have now sent you the coordinate of the nearby planets which would be capable of hosting your life well enough without any need of terraforming.
As well, once we attain the supplies that we desire we shall in turn give you some of our technologies to allow to be able to travel in a timely manner and also for you to be able to manage to travel the galaxy within a time that is actually plausible."

"Kneel." His was a voice which commanded respect, one which had laid low worlds by the very utterance of the glory of the Word. His was a voice that enraptured hearts and minds, and even souls. "Kneel, and I shall release you from the shackles of this false religion, and these false gods!" He stood tall, proud, without helmet, letting his dark hair spill across his shoulders. He was beautiful as he was charismatic, a living instrument of Their will.
He reached to his side, unsheathing the Xhalaxian War-blade with a single gesture, holding it to the sky. A hundred thousand helot-slaves and free men stood behind him, freed from the shackles of Eternal tyranny and liberated, body and mind, to the word of his Masters. He let the people of this new world watch the runes dance upon his armor, gleaming in silver and gold and adamant. "Join me, and your joys will be limitless, your achievements endless! The universe will bow to the will and the word of my Lords-Who-Dwell-Beyond!
This is the only hope for your race, for I would put any of you to the sword than have you worship these falsehoods." He gestured with a clawed gauntlet to the murals that debased the walls with their ideals of purity and the Eternals. "Already we are blessed with the sight to see beyond their lies! Already we are blessed with the power to traverse the stars and bring more into the folds of the Chosen!" He paused, his next words a hissed conflagration of sound, the feral utterance of the Xhalaxian Hell-talk. With those sounds burning upon the air, he watched as the murals burst into unholy flame, a seething roiling flame ablaze with thick smoke, the smell was of dark power....Of salvation.
"Kneel" He uttered once more, his words driftign on the air so recently defiled, his men readying their arms, gleaming weaponry emblazoned with battle-runes and blood-devotionals, each man amongst them bore scars where they had pledged themselves to Darius, High Prophet and True Lord.
One by one, they began to kneel. He let a smile cross his perfect features. There would be resistance, of course. But it could be dealt with. The Word was not some foolish philosophy built around false gods and ancient technology. It was so much more than that. It was the way for all races to be purified of their fears and weakness, and devoted to a greater ideal.
Chaos.
The crew of one of the Guardian's shuttles returned bearing the gifts of the order after delivering the supplies and fuel needed to tranverse and explore the untamed southwestern quadrant of the galaxy. Cheif Engineer Ariel Tesla was estatic over this new FTL technology the Order had sent. Capitan Akira was just happy things went off without incident.
"We hope that this may be a bright dawn of a new era for both of our people. We on the Guardian, in the Executive's administration and in the Dirik nation hope that your trading mission will recruit many into what we hope will become an Entente of Trade and (when necessary,) Defence. Good luck on your future travels!" Olsen quipped into the microphone trying his best to adapt the optimissim of the people's Dictator. The Comm Officer knew things would not be good in the future. However, he didn't have an evidence of this yet, aside from the turmoil in his gut.
The Guardian would return to Dirik loaded with navigation data and FTL techology plans. All things seem to point forward to a brighter tomarrow. Or atleast they did on the Guardian...
BREAKING NEWS
"An explosion rocked federal spacestation X30193, aka Fromont. The spacestation was one of several options for the alien visitors to resupply at that was changed at the last minute to Airstrip One before dismissing the idea of an alien docking all together. Casualities are suspected to be in the thousands as no warning allowed for evacuation.
"The explosion is currently under investigation and is suspected to be an act of anti-alien terrorism. Airstrip One is currently being investigated for explosives and the CSS Guardian is being thoroughly checked over. The Representative Dictator was unavailable for comment given the widespread implications of this suspected terrorist act."

Chaos.A wise old person in the crowd took out a book that was written in a derivation of the ancient complex Eternal writing system and read,” Oppose what brings darkness with it.
Bring forth the light of thyself.
Fear no pain or death for what right.
Do not be coerced by the hands of those whom use fear.
Do not be taken in by the false promises of pleasure that comes at the cost to bowing to another’s whim.
Never surrender your faith as that is the greatest weapon that you have against any foe.
So now the younger peoples fate shall be determined by them alone and the path that they chose shall either bring them closer to those whom came before or they shall fall into chaos forever.”
With that said the murals come alive showing the Eternals come to life and slowly advanced upon the armed enemies and then they dissipated and the old man turned into pure energy, then he faded away save for his book.
Collin speaks of Formont Terror Attack
"Today Representative Dictator Patrick Collin departed from his increasingly busy schedule to say a few words about the Formont incident. His actions to condemn those involved in the terrorism and help to aide those families that lost their loved ones in the explosion have changed him from partisanized reformer to savior of the union. Here is what he had to say:
'Last night we saw a terrible atrocity, an act of radicalism from those who believe in the most extreme conservative of ideals. That attack has also given us a glimpse of a possible future. This tragic event, I hope, has opened the eyes of many Dirikians as to who are enemies truly are. Not only do we have to fear those hostile invaders that dwell in the fog beyond our borders, there are also those that would, no matter the cost, prevent the nation from changing to face this threat.
The Order has given us the tools for the colonial expansion necessary to prop up our defenses. These unnamed terrorists would wish these preparations to fail and if we reject this proposal their plans will be fulfilled. I believe that we should not feed these radicalist by rejecting colonialism. I say we show them our resolve. For the glory of Dirik and in spite of Terrorism: we will unite, we will expand and we will defend ourselves!'"

"As friendly or neutral foreigners, you are welcome to leave whenever you wish. If you are found to have caused any harm to our people, however, you would be detained or hunted and brought to justice. However, since the terrorist acts are cased by long suppressed psychological and societal issues that merely were merely fanned to flames by your presence, you cannot be held responsible.
"In short, you are free to leave whenever you please."
