General Secertrary: Alriea Vnatie, Dear Leader of Samspang

Alriea Vnatie was a very active political activist who was enarmored with the many communist utopias that has been seen around his country. She was a middle-class student but was very worried about the plight of the poor and the miserable. After listenting to a lecture on Karl Marx, she signed up with the terrorist organization known as the "Communist Alliance for Social Justice", recruited by the professor giving the lecture.

The country at the time was mired deeply in poverty and disaster, which thereby fueled ther rise of several small organizations that want to overthrow the government. The area is mostly filled with jungles, and while oil was recently discovered offshore, corrupt capitalist forces managed to make profit, while the rest of the country remained divided and in trouble.

Alriea Vnatie did not actually take part in fighting for the Communist Alliance for Social Justice, as much as her later memiors would like to extragrate. She rather was responsible for the formation of the CASJ intellgesita, providing properganda materials and the intellectual basis for the rebellion. Meanwhile, the CASJ secretly recruited members in the Military, many of whom were quite disenchanted with the previous regime and wanted paychecks. Sevearl of them were also swayed by Alriea's rhetoric.

4 years ago, the CASJ started a military coup against the capitalist government at Vraigo. The streets were bloody and it lasted for 5 days before the leaders at Vraigo was captured and shot. The CASJ quickly took over Town Hall and declared itself the "Revolutionary Council", leading a new Communist government.

However, military forces still loyal to the capitalist regime fled to the southern part of [INSERT NATION HERE]. There has been a couple of fireshots exchanged before member states from the United Nations intervened to stop the violence.

In a peace deal that was hailed as a glorious success, there would be a De-Militraized Zone that would seperate the Capitalist and the Communist forces. There would be an interm government, with capitalist and communist members on board, that would be in charge of holding elections in 4 years. The country would rebuild during that time, and once elections are held, both sides would promise to respect the new democratically electeed regime.

Alriea Vnatie was given a token seat on the "United Government of [INSERT NATION HERE]", but she was mostly focused on gaining power inside the CASJ. She got herself elected "General Secertrary", the top major civilian post, in the CASJ party, and from there, began starting up a 'ruler cult' amongst the population. Alreia stressed her past as a revolutionary for the people, and campagined for land distrubtion, welfare programs, and the seizure of capitalist offshore oil fields.

4 years later...the elections have been held. By this time, the Northern and the Southern forces has taken over much of their respective territories, granting them the ability to propergandize to them, and run them as their own 'respective' states.

The Southern forces won, by a slim majority.

Alriea Vnatie fumed at what have happened. She immeadily accused the Southern forces of committing massive election fraud (even though, techincally, CASJ also did fraud themselves). She called for a recount and a "throwing-out" of certain election ballots that would thereby throw the election to Alreia Vnatie and let the CASJ take over. The Southern Capitalists would not budge. They claimed that they have finally won elections fair and square so that the CASJ should give up and serve in as the minority opposition in a free and fair democratic elections.

The Capitalists, therefore, was taken by suprise, when the CASJ activated "Operation Pacification", a plan drawn up by Alreia Vnatie and several top brass generals 2 years before the election. Alreia and these generals believed that the Capitalists would merely use this election as a way to maintan contorl, and that they predicted that, in order to remain revelant, a massive military invasion was necessary. Targets were mapped, biological and chemical weaponary was produced or bought on the black market, and military troops was drilled for the inevtible.

The first part of "Operation Pacification" was...the pre-text. On nationwide television, Alreia Vnatie announced to the world that they have arrested several "reactionary spies" who admitted to plotting an assination of Alreia Vnatie. Concluding that this was done "in order to intimate the working people", Alriea was forced to declare a state of emergency in order to counter the "insurgent forces that threaten our way of life". It was war.

What Alreia Vnatie hoped was that the tanks would move quickly into the South, and take over as much territory as possible before Capitalist superpowers would be able to respond. Once that happens, they'll reinforce their positions and then petition for Communist superpowers to protect the small budding nation, as to act as detterence from military interventions. Alreia predicted that people would welcome the communists with open arms, that the loss of one town will cause other towns to surrender, creating a domino effect that will lead to the surrender of all insurgent forces. Alreia famously predicted that the "war will be over by Christmas".

Alreia...was wrong.
