OOC: Submachineguns like those weren't around in 1914. Someone was told before about that. The only SMG we have that is even concieved yet is this: Here (http://world.guns.ru/smg/01_vp.jpg).

The Italians came out with one in 1915, didnt they? So, theoretically, reserach must have been going on in 1914.
Eh, doesnt matter though, unless he developed it first.

Yes, of course, the weapon is void. As I've said, if it didn't exist before WW1, it doesn't exist now. Technology will not be advancing until we start going to war.
