We, the Democratic Republic of Balkan Peoples, has had it brought to our attention that the Holy Empire of Joethesandwich, located within our region (the Former Yugoslavia), still practices slavery within it's borders.

We consider this to be a breach of human rights and therefore unacceptable.

We have informed the emperor of this nation of our viewpoint and made it known to him that further practice of the slave trade may result in military action.

We wish fellow nations to stand behind us in our cause.

The courier was running down the hallway nearly knocking over the minister of Education. AS he leaned against the door out of breath he told the emperor
"Sir, The Balkans People's are mobilizing for war."

"Bah, Let them come. And when they do they will discover that we have god on our side."

"Perhaps we should listen to their demands? They are forming a coalition, sir."

"John, how long have you lived here?"

"My whole life, sir"

"Then you should know that this empire never backs down. Never compromises, Never gives in! Mobilize the army! Prepare the Militias! Put the citizens on high alert!"

We shall be the one who decide how this empire will work, not them"

If our demands are not met we and our allies will be forced to take military action.

On an airfield in an undisclosed location in the Democratic Republic of Balkan Peoples, aircraft were being refuelled and rearmed in preparation for the pending invasion. Paratroops nervously smoked and talked amongst themselves.

In a nearby town, troops were being armed and mobilised. The men were in high spirits-after years of fighting for a government that had no concern for them or their ideals, they were finally preparing for a war for a cause they believed in.

The Armed States of Theoropia would like to extend a pact to the Balkan Peoples. If the Balkan Peoples, and any of its allies, ever need supplies, then the Armed States of Theoropia would be more than happy to help.

We condemn the Balkan Peoples for their unproveked aggresion on Joethesandwich. Any assaults made on Joethesandwich by either Balkan People or Theoropia will be smashed and retaliated against to the fullest extent.

The Armed States of Theoropia would like to know why Neo-Erusia has sided with these slave traders.

Jack Deer noticed a convo of Balkan origin passby, being sadly ignorant to the fact of the Nationalist sniper. Private First Class Deer, looking into the scope of his Remington 700. He noticed the vehicle slow down to stop as one of the occupants got out, slowly walking towards Deer's position.

The Balkan soldier dropped his pants, exposing himself to the eyes of Private First Class Deer. Deer quickly looked to the only other man in the military truck, the driver. He flipped off the safety and took aim at the driver, firing. The chances of him hitting his target at three hundred meters was over ninety percent, so with a blase' response he turned his scope towards the pissing man that didn't seem to notice the loud crack of the Remington 700.

Private First Class Deer pumped another .223 remington round into the chamber of his 700 series rifle and repeated his last action, zooming into the man's face as he urinated. He load boom of the gun went off, and the .223 remington cut threw the air, finding its mark would be even easier than it was for the driver.

The Great Khan read the report, his heart heavy. Two Balkan soldiers, killed by a sniper of unknown origin. Presumably from Neo-Erusea, this meant that soon the Balkans would go to war. With Osteia assembling an intervention force, it was only a matter of time until the conflict inflated into a large scale war. Now, it was up to the Great Khan to decide whether the fledgling state of Theoropia should join the conflict.

The Great Khan turned to Lesser Khan Theo, and said, "Lesser Khan, put me in touch with the Balkan government. Tell them that we are ready to support out allies...using any means possible."

The Commander Khan looked at the report. It had been only a minute ago that peace had reigned, and now a war was starting. He instantly got on the phone with his Lesser Commanders.

"Commander Zhorn, I want you to mobilize the 4th Expidentary Ground Force and move it through the Easter Balkan Mountains into the city of Liek. Commander Joie, I want you to assemble an air force that will drop the 5th Air Deep Strike Battalion into the central Balkans. Also, get me a plane to the capital of Balka. We need to set up an HQ."

OOC: Ok....but this is gonna be far worse then it was ment to me, more nations are going to get involved and ALL hell is going to break loose...i know this! both alliances are going to clash and..well ...you'll see..i, myself have not taken a side, nor do i intend too....slavery hasn't been around in Osteia sence ancient times, so we ourselves are not completely innocent when you really look at it, but we changed our ways over time...

I will say it one more time...this whole situation is going to go bad....

A singular infantry company ran into the site of Private First Class Jack Deer. The mass mobilization threwout the mountain range had left the sector in which the NC was hiding prodominantly peaceful. Deer relayed the enemy movement to the command in the mountains and response was clear. All sniper, all twenty of them, where to fire at the enemy company at will. The two-hundred eighty remaining men would set up defence, machine gun posts, picket lines, sandbag positions, etc.

Every sniper had set up position atleast two hundred meters from each other, all at different elevation and with the suited camoflage. Many hiding in the brush, some covered themselve in dirt, and even less found patches of snow they hid in. Soon they fired into the enemy ranks, causing all hell to break loose.

Private First Class John Deer himself found the company's captain, whom he took aim at. His zoom was rested on the captain's chest, leaving more chance of them man to be hit. Deer pumped a .223 remington into the chamber of the gun and let loose the bullet. At four hundred meters away there was an over eighty percent chance of hitting the unmoving captain.

OOC-Hopefully, it will be short. Our top military advisers expect it to be done in under a year.

The company never knew what hit them. One minute, the captain was standing there, and the next his chest was gone, blown away by a sniper. The fight was over in minutes. Out of a hundred man company, only three survived, and retreated. Thirteen were wounded, lying in the dirt, waving white flags. The rest were killed.

The Commander heard what happened. A hard choice came before him-take out the force hiding in the caves, or proceed on and meet up with the Balkan force they were supposed to me?

Commander Raekwon stared down at the assembly of 1000 militia men. He did not understand his order but he knew that anything decreed by the holy emperor must be done.

"Listen up."

The noisy rabble of soldiers shot up in attention.

"Your all gonna get new uniforms. I want you in them fast. We're going into balkan territory, tonight, to support a revolutionary faction."

A arm sprang up from the mass of soldiers.

"Yes, Comandant Smith?"

"Why do we require new uniforms?"

"The emperor in his infinite wisdom does not wish a full scale war at this moment. We are going into support this paramillitary orginization, and we are not to be known as Imperial soldiers. The emperor wantss us in there by tommorow, so get moving!"

OOC: If he came with some B2 bombers or..a bunch of F-22's..or like ANYTHING your troops would be trapped inside...and first off...who said there was a mountian range?

The bombers rumbled along the runway, preparing to take off. The Balkan People would not stand for an act of terrorism on behalf of another nation, and so the conflict was beginning ahead of schedule.

Within the hour the aircraft were over the industrial area of the capital of Joethesandwich. The first bombs fell short of their targets, destroying a bridge and a hospital. The rest of the bombs, however, hit their marks.

Meanwhile, on the border, the tanks moved into position to defend the Balkan Peoples nation. Civillians had been evacuated that night, and now soldiers occupied their homes....


OOC; If anyone involved in this still wants a diplomatic resolution, I'm open to discussion. I didn't think this would be so big. Posting a discussion thread now.

The people of Viticoma have found that the worlds state has only been caused by those who wish to see Slavery abolished. The Slavers where not attacking/ invading others, not where they causing any true disruption to anyones economies. While most of the Archer satellites were trained on the growing Freekish conflict, one that was usually left unmanned was picking something else up. It might have come completely unnoticed if one of the technicians hadn't been called in to fix a small fault on the flat map, as, while he was fiddling with a side-mounted terrain panel, he stumbled back into the display in question. You don't usually hear the word "serendipity" being applied to war, but this was a decent example; the technician was quick enough to notice that a Maldorian battlegroup had been sent to the Balkan conflict and alerted the officer on call, a desk-shackled lieutenant who'd been sent home from an earlier conflict after taking shrapnel to his stomach. The lieutenant, while he was tempted to deploy troops of his own initiative, knew he'd get the book shoved up his ass for a stunt like that and called in Supreme Commander Sundin, the man with the ultimate power of veto over orders.

"You did well to call me, lieutenant. What is the situation?"

Slightly in awe at the Supreme Commander's presence, the lieutenant gulped before starting to talk. "I...I noticed the movement of the Maldorians and there was a report of a conflict going on between the Balkan Peoples and...Joethesandwich." Looking right into the SC's eyes, the lieutenant pushed the hot button. "It's about slavery."

SC Sundin nodded quietly. "Who is which side of the issue?"

"From what I've been able to determine, the Balkan Peoples and Theoropia are against it; JTS and the Maldorians are for it."

"Which Unit is nearest the conflict?"

Pressing a couple of keys on the notebook computer to his left, the lieutenant looked through the unit reports. "The Second would be best placed to intervene. There's also a small Eighth base in the Former Yugoslavian region, they can provide transport for any men we send."

"Figures?"

"There aren't many, thus far, but the Maldorian force lookls to be somewhere around half a million. JTS is a pretty small nation, they won't have much in the way of an armed forces. What are your orders?"

The Supreme Commander closed his eyes for a moment, thinking the numbers through. The McPsychovillian Armed Forces were large enough such that they could conceivably deploy a unit a couple of millions in size with no problems, but the logistics would be problematic.

"Write this down. Three hundred thousand men. Eight thousand of the Behemoths, so twenty four thousand more men for them. Twelve thousand of the Beasts, so thirty six thousand more men there. That's three-sixty thousand, to be deployed to the JTS southern coast."

The lieutenant scribbled down the orders hastily. "Yes, sir. I'll get these sent now."

"And," continued the SC, "Special Unit Omicron. If I'm not mistaken, it numbers one hundred and twenty - they are to be deployed on the eastern coast. Their orders are to go after the men in charge."

The transport planes lifting off, carrying a battalion of infantry, tanks, and armored cars to the Balkans. They would be dropped off in the capital, and then rendevouz with the Balkans there. Hopefully, the war wouldn't escalate.

Meanwhile, the battalion in the mountains had gathered there wounded. While the Commander didn't like running, he had no choice. The unknown units were to well hidden, and a bombardment of the area showed no signs of enemy casualties. There only hope was to rendevouz with friendly forces and hope for the best. And just in case the unknown forces followed...well, he had a few tricks up his sleeve.

We are dedicated to the complete end of slavery in the world today. Honako urges for this to be solved diplomatically and condemns the hasty declaration of war by the Balkan People, but if JTS wishes to avoid a huge attack by a collation of anti-slavery nations we advise him to abolish all slavery in his country. We can understand your economy may be reliant on slavery, but once you have abolished it we and I'm sure other nations will help you to rebuild your nation into a more civilised place, and I will offer trade and other things to help you. If though you do not sell these slaves and use them as playthings for a greedy nation, we demand you stop this now - we will happily take these slaves off you if you do not want them in your country. The only way to confirm the end of slavery in your nation is to sign the Theebs Accord.

We do not like to infringe on the sovereign rights of a nation - we are generally anti-hostile. Though if you do not remove the savage slave trade from your nation we will consider sending in bombers to destroy military targets on your borders and help other anti-slavery minded nations in their assault.

They are rendevouzing with Balkan units outside of the capital. The battalion that was atttacked in the mountains have rendevouzed with Balkan forces in the Eastern city of Jikal. They are preparing to defend the city against attack. Also, sir, Honako has made a statement to the slave traders."

"What did Honako say?", the Great Khan replied.

"They said that they will not get involved in the fight if the slave traders sign the Theeb Accords. However, if they do not Honako will bomb JTS military targets."

"Get me on the phone to my military commanders. I want a cease fire until JTS responds to Honako's request!"

This company will provide servants, who are different from slaves, in that the servants want to work. They come from many other nations, and we are trying to branch out today. If you want, we can have dialouge in which we can help ease the transiation from a slave-based economy to a servant-based economy, by sending in lawyers and assistants to help convince any freed slaves to become servants, as well as to draft contracts. We believe this is legal under the Theebs accord, and that this method will be the most beniefical for us all.

Your attempt at hiding slavery by using the word "servants" is pathetic. However, a peaceful end to the war would be nice. I am willing to negotiate a cease fire, however JTS or who ever shot my soldiers must pay reparations. Also, JTS MUST abolish slavery and use another method of labor, whether that be your "servants" or actual labor by his own population.

Thank you for your list of locations - they will be of great use. We hope that this will end in peace, as war seems unnecessary for this, though it is extremely unlikely that JTS will just give up and sign the Accords - even with the might of nations like McPsychoville against him. We will await any response by JTS before we start any hostile bombing, though we will only bomb weapons factories in the night time due to the fact we do not want to kill many people.

Though, we have one further issue, it seems that the nation Buddha C is fighting for JTS. Now, we can understand why you would fight against this aggression displayed by the Balkan People - and Buddha C has helped us out greatly in a recent and ongoing situation in our nation. Therefore, if we feel that any bloodshed of their troops by us may happen in this war, we will not be involved in a ground assault out of respect for the help they showed us.

Osteia remains nuetral in this situation, if we decide to send troops in who ever fires at our men are our enemy, that IS should we decide to send soldiers in. War is not a plesent thing and our king does not want to jump into these things as quickly as others do.

I urge everyone to remember what this war is about - the abolishing of slavery in JTS. Going on silly missions of revenge against countries god knows how much bigger than you - especially when they have already made it clear it was a terror faction that attacked your troops - is just adding more tension to a conflict. Honako will assist in getting slavery ridded from JTS, hopefully peacefully but with minor bombing attacks on military locations if talks fail, and hopes that you do not do anything stupid against Buddha C but instead against his terror group.

..meanwhile, the Theoropian troops were licking there wounds. They had just rendevouzed with Baltic troops, and now were en route to fortify the Osteians positions. Although many of the soldiers wanted revenge on the rebel faction, the Great Khan made it clear that the soldiers were to not get revenge for what happened. And so, 8,000 infantry men and 5,000 light tanks trudged throughout the night.

The 5th Air Deep Strike Battalion was moving out. Word was that Osteians were landing there intervention force, and it was the Commanders job to rendevouz with them, as well as with the mountain battalion, to plan they're next move.

My this has gotten out of hand. For the sake of keeping things even I will not intervene in the conflict. Although I am confident I can defeat Osteia in war McPsycoville will pretty much obliterate him.

But he knew he had to pick sides, and the upcoming whipe-out of the Balkan state was omniously looming, he had to establish Nationalism now, and make it flexible. He estimated it would take a commited force of five thousand men, armour would be obstructed from entered the cave as C4 was placed in points that were wide enough for armour to pass threw, which would stop passage. And if the five thousand did attack and succeded, which they had a forty-eight percent chance of doing, they would take in the upper of three thousand and a half casuelties.

Mister Blue, threw all his calculations, sent his third-in-command, Lieutenant Colonel Tobin, to the capitol of the Balkan state and relay his demands. Half-Colonel Tobin recieved a local captured vehicle and made his way to capitol of the Balkan state, there he made the demands of the Nationalist for Country orginization.

juristiction in the Eastern mountains. Keep in mind, whilst making your
decision that Nationalism is one hundred percent for the country, at the
very core, and we follow its views religoiusly, we will do nothing to hurt
the Balkan state, but will do everything to defend it.

We are giving you a small area of land in the eastern mountains, and expressing our support of your government publicly. We are a nationalist nation anyway, so no problem. You will be allowed your militia, but it is to keep inside the area designated to you. You are allowed two military bases, one air force, one army, within our borders, with troops numbering no higher than 200 000. Are these terms acceptable?

Also, we wish to attend the peace talks. As we effectively started this, so we must finish it in such a way as to cause as little loss of life as possible.

The Nationalist for Country found these terms acceptable and quickly rushed to find two hundred thousand people to join his new province. What he go was an overflow of five hundred thousand Balkan men and woman rushing to his new province, which he crisoned, Terre Nationale, meaning national ground in French.

Jay Blue quickly set up a make-shift military airport, at a platue in the mountain valley. He quickly sent a request to the goverment of the Balkan states to grant them two hundred million dollars to begin the building of Terre Nationale's first city, Liberte'.

The money would be used to buy several CH-47D Chinook support helicopters for medical use, money for the equipment needed to build the city inside the mountains, large drills, and money for the twenty-five thousand expected manned army.

But before the aid could come, even if it didn't, the five hundred thousand Balkans were forced to camp in the caves of the mountains, some even had to sleep outside due to the influx.

The Province of Terre Nationale was stunned by such an act of reputance. Two million dollars? That was... just inexplicably lower than expect, even a former enemy had given them more, but they could not complain. The lack of money was used to create several large housing structers inside of some of the completed sections of the job. By the time the condoes were do they would be able to house one hundred thousand citizens, but it wasn't enough. Hundreds of thousands more would be homeless, so P.G. Jay Blue had the people of the Balkan province of Terre Nationale camp out, and begin building their own homes of wood and stone, as the toil continued to be worked.

J.G. Blue was un-aware of the reprocussions he had caused, the supposed temporary city outside of the mountain was flourishing, not to mention the fresh three million dollars the Province of Terre Nationale recieved from the taxes on good, which Blue was soon to excalate.

The work in the tunnel was nearly complete, and the housing complexes where finished, and a small bizzare grew near the complexes as well. The bizzare also brought in an influx of jobs, such as advirtisment and store clerk and all the like, taxes where on the rise, giving Terre Nationale a large boost in the funding of the project.

The military side of Terre Nationale was doing well also, as the make-shift recruiting stations in the city outside of the mountains and the housing complexes inside. All together the military now boasted ten thousand strong, capable young men able to keep peace.

This boost in P.G. Jay Blue's confidence allowed him to raise the tax tariff on one hundred percent of the good sold in Terre Nationale to twenty-four percent, slightly angering the main populace, but they other wise happy lives continued.

As the project was completed the day before the peace talks were scheduled to take place the province spilt in half. Two hundred fifty thousand men and women of the populace moving into the, now developed, mountain city which posted strong entrance defences and large road systems. Then two hundred fifty thousand others who preferred their homes outside the mountain, which was less developed but peaceful, the military having a looser grasp with them.

{Just imagine I used 2nd and 3rd Engineer Units, and requested assistance from the Balkan people to get in done quicker. Also thank you for the weapons.}

The Theoropian government is glad to help.

The second city of the small province of Terre Nationale was crisoned Holzagel, taken from the German words for wood and nail. The govenor of the city was also P.G. Jay Blue, ruling that a centralised power, especially one so close should be easy to sastain, and is also more Nationalistic. Also, the army installation, FM-01, has been established in Liberte', and the airbase, with the five newly bought CH47D Chinooks, has been designated, FAF-02.

The Armed States of Theoropia is always willing to trade with the Baltic States, the provence of Terre Nationale, or McPhysco whenever they wish. Hopefully, the peace talks will further strengthen those relationships.

We prefer to use our pelicans for transportation to our aircraft carriers as we do not have space for just one more aircraft on the flight deck and/or underneith the flight deck of the aircraft. And each Pelican can carry up to 10 people, so we will have one Marine on the pelican with your men and we will put the other 4 assigned to that pelican on flight deck security detail.

This is for our own protection as well as the protection of the other deligates. We will hangle all security arrangement for this conference.
