Official Announcement from the Demented Schooling Corporation

Due to the fact that school security issues are now frequently a concern for parents and regulating authorities world wide – and DSC is now an international corporation, with over 370 million children attending our schools in several nations – we have decided to address the issue of school security directly.

From now on, the Demented Schooling Corporation will maintain a School Security Department to protect our children during school hours. Every DSC school will be protected by an armed guard at all school hours in every nation where the law allows an armed guard. This will result in the creation of a Tier 1 School Security Unit, employing approximately a million personnel in Allanea alone.

Furthermore, to deal with such unlikely events as multiple-victim shootings, several Tier 2 School Security Units will be created, to be deployed in all nations where the law allows civilian corporations to possess the relevant equipment – so far, Allanea, Praetonia, Otagia, and Leafanistan.

We have already contracted the Robertson Arms corporation to provide us with submachineguns and pistols, however the DSC would like to receive bids from any corporations or LTD's willing to provide us with light helicopters, rifles, machineguns, or trucks for the Tier 2 School Security Units.

Conversely, we will also be willing to receive contracts to provide School Security services to other private and public schools around the world.

At current, we can neither deny nor confirm the existence of a Tier-1A School Security Unit supposedly designed to deal with student riots and organized to operate in the state of Aissur.

OOC: Basically a thread for people to voice their righteous indignation over the event (Oh god, private armies are baaad!) or to try and get a contract with DSC to either provide weapons or receive services.

We would like to offer Gyro's.

These Gyro's are all the rage in ICCD currently especially among 20 and 30 somes, they are being poised to be a useful tool to by pass the heavily forested jungles of ICCD. They are light affordable and fun.. and useful for quick response without issues such as traffic jams.. and they'll likely be light enough to land on a properly constructed education facility.

If you are interested in purchasing some of our gyro's that is great and we can get you more details. These units also don't require high trained pilots because they have inbuilt safety measures. They are also light and easily transportable by truck for selective tactical operations. Better yet they are able to be controlled by remote, and have weapons mounts such as machine guns or even actuator arms, and water cannons or other, non lethal weapons including canister shooters. THey also come with a megaphone and laser and optics sensor system, that are all module based. So you can see through walls, and have a good point of observation.. and this all for much less than a traditional helicopter. These copters will cost you as little at $5000, and more advanced armoured models can run up to $100,000. It all depends what your specific needs are. Gyrosol is a leading company capable of providing you with a low cost tactical response vehicle, that has many of the benifits of a helicopter for a fraction of the cost.

ICCD would be willing to sell you some 'warbuggies' or IAPC's .. but our fuel systems arn't gasoline fueled and while very effective each buggy will cost you about $100,000 (they arn't trucks. IAPC's are priced more heavily.. but can serve as medium trucks, in cargo configuration they are APC's not trucks though. The warbuggies are a mix between a jeep a sports car and a SUV.

As for weapons we could offer our IMP (Which is a highgrade machine pistol that fires 6mm armour peicing rounds (usually), or our IAR's which are 12mm (about .47 calibre) I have a bunch of models of each, but it really depends how much you are looking for. There is a wide range of weapon systems attachments, that are luckily in almost all cares interchangeable from the IMP to the IAR, and the IAR has some of it's specific systems. The benefit from buying arms from us is that if you are a regular customer you will see that our weapons and accessories are often designed to work with one another, and expansions and upgrades are interchangeable. We only use a few different ammo types, and all our weapons are essentially made fromt the same materials. Our recent models use liquid metal allloy and are 'smart' guns. Meaning that they have an upgradable processor installed in them that is Milspec. These are used to provide data and interface with components for functions such as smart firing autolocking and USER defined firing allowance based on interface smart technologies. Using contact safety mechanisms, including specific glove interfacing, VERY dangerous weapons cannot just be picked up and used, an added benefit when firmware coded for that purpose. Of course there are other safety functions that include system overrides I won't discus here because it they are security concerns that try not to attract unwarrented attention to them. The guns are good, but the price varies on the model you buy. Basic stocks run from about 400 for the IAR and go above 10K with premium accessories. More details can be provided as interst exists. We likely have the best of anything you need.
