President Ali Bach Hamba has announced the world's first airship line. The Tunisian Airship Transport Corporation (TATC). The TATC, with a fleet of 19 airships, the TATC is providing air travel for passengers and cargo all across Tunisia.

Tunisia has always made trade her bussiness, and as such, has used airships locally as a form of transport. However, after having to send arm shipments to Prussia, one bussiness men began to think how he could make the trip quicker and how he could get products and people to landlocked nations.

And so, TATC was born.

The founding capital amounted to three million Dinars, of which the majority (D 2,600,000) came from the cities of Tunis and Bizerte. The remaining D400,000 came in the form of airships from the Zeppelin plant in Gafsa.

Passenger service aboard the airship LZ 7 has began with routes from Bizerte to Tozeur-Tozeur to Matmata. Stewards have been introduced aboard all airships and are responsible for the well-being of the passengers.

TATC has established a route network between Tunis, Sfax, Susah, Kairouan, Bizerte, Gabes, Tozeur, and Matmata.

However the TATC is also looking to expand internationally. TATC can bring products to landlocked nation without worrying about having to use some other state's ports. TATC can also carry passengers more directly to thier desired locations. Say you wish to go from Wolfenstein to The New Roman Republic. Why go around Europe when you can go over it?

TATC can promise scenic views that no other form of travel can, and with highly trained, former military pilots and crew, TATC can ensure your absolute safety.

TATC also can promise that any city it is allowed to have a route to will prosper immensly, becoming a tourist attraction and a center of travel. So please, if your are interested in having TATC have a route to your country, just tell us what cities you would like, and begin construction of Airship mooring masts in that city.

Tunisia cannot, by constitutional law, be party to any agressive alliance. We believe our 5 year mutual defence pact does nicely. However TATC set upon the job of building you a combat airship at once, and it shall be ready by the end of the month.

We can be a trade partner with your agressive pact, and can help fund it, but we cannot invade another state for no reason (unless it LOOKS like they attacked...)

The SL1
The TATC airship SL1 will surpass the contemporary Zeppelin airships in performance in nearly every way. It adopts the Zeppelin ring-girder construction method, but retains the streamlined shape and plywood construction of the earlier military test airship, SL0. SL1 will also the most significant airship to date in that it lays down two vital design innovations that will be copied in almost all subsequent rigid airships. The first is the cruciform tail plane, with a single pair of rudders and elevators. The second is the location of the engines in separate streamlined gondolas or cars. A third innovation, for war service, is the mounting of heavy machine guns for defense against attacking aircraft in each of the engine cars.

ooc: check the rebuild date on the SL1... 1914 is prior to that. state of the art zeppelins at this point lift a max of 9 tons. the SL1 prior to re-build lifts 8. [the later ones are impressive though... 30+ tons and they just keep on climbing.]

further routs will be unnecessary, as government owned airships already fly the routs within the Reich and Osteia.

The Anj Riech's airships may not pass threw the New Prussian Confederacy for one reason. If you have suspisions against the German Empire then you must have suspicions against us, for we are in a triumvirate.

The nation of Trollskog asks if the airline can make travel to and from the capital city of Trollskog, Svartberg. However, certain things need to be observed.

1: No priests, unless you wish to provide the trolls with in-flight snacks.
2: The average troll is somewhat larger than an adult human. Please make sure that the trollfolk can be seated comfortably. Otherwise...no, just make sure.
3:Please, please, for your sake, make sure there's beer.

We would like to know if it is possible for the Tunisians to construct a torpedo-carrying zepellin for us. In return, we could design a sort of Zepellin-carrying ship for both of us to use.

-To Candistan, we can begin plans and tests to determine how such a zeppelin would be designed. However Tunisia has no need for Zepellin-carrying ships, as all Tunisian battleships can carry a zeppelin mooring mast.

Incognitia wishes to offer a deal; we will permit a certain level of TATC transport (as part of a broader free trade deal between our two nations).
In return we wish to be able to build under licence, and - crucially - modify to suit our own requirements, airships of TATC design.

Assuming you accept, we will reduce our tariffs on Tunisian goods to only marginal levels, and will be prepared to discuss a mutual-defence pact with Tunisia.
If this deal is acceptable, facilities are even now being scouted for joint TATC and IAC (Incognitian Air Corporation) operations close to Nescia, Dunkennen, Incos, Derno and Nesais; depending on the success of inital routes, several more cities, at least one in each of the nine provinces, are being considered.

We do not want a mutual defense pact, as we prefer to keep our people at peace. As for the sirships you wish to build, we wish to know if this includes our military line.

The mutual defence pact was purely offered as an add-on, it is not required as part of the free trade deal.
As to airship construction, we are only interested in building civilian models; we view the military potential of airships as entirely unproven, and so will not be using them in the foreseeable future.
Additionally we are not interested in selling airships to other countries, only in constructing them for our own use.

As we have already signed a mutual-defense pact with Tunisia, we see no problem in allowing Tunisia to flourish, by promoting airship trade between our cities.

pay attention man, this thread is very dead. if you read the first post in Incognitia's thread, that one is because THIS ONE went bust. it's debatable if the original nation is still active and involved or not [no one's heard from him in a Long time]

you need to get in the habit of actually reading stuff before responding to it.
