Two dam workers walked on the walkway just in the center of the large Quebarlic dam that was in the southern area of the nation, in the well pastered and agricultural lands of south Quebar where a small population of 14,000 people lived in small communities, villages, farms and on indigenous reserves. As the two men continued to walk across the board walk they noticed two small cracks in the central frame of the dam. However, not being concerned by the two small cracks they went to their office and began eating breakfast. At about 7:30 a.m another worker was walking the plank when he heard a cracking noise coming from the base of the central structure of the dam. Two seconds later a large gush of water flowed from the two cracks, that had grown to eight larger cracks, and pushed the man of the plank ensuring that he fell to his death. With that a wall of water flooded the valley leveling houses and farms, pushing farm equipment ten miles from where they were first positioned and causing large walls of mud to build up in peoples houses, possibly trapping some in a slow painful suffication of mud.
