Balkan Peoples

Following the recent change of regime in the Democratic Republic of Balkan Peoples, a number of rebel groups loyal to the former government have seen fit to conduct a campaign of terror against our noble citizens.
These groups are heavily armed and militarily active in the country. In recent days they have targetted communications and transport networks, a goverment building in the former capital of Slevovica, as well as military convoys and journalists working for state media. We also believe that they may have been responsible for the recent massacre of 200 people in the village of Smoreva.
As these groups work underground, it is extremely difficult to make arrests and to pinpoint the source of the violence. Our intelligence network and military police force is stretched to it's limit at present.
The violence is mostly centered around the poorer south of the country, particularly in the region of the city of Slevovica where many people are still loyal to the old regime. It is for this reason that in that area these rebel groups find it easy to garner support for their actions.
We wish for peace in our country, but this is difficult when so many of our citizens hold divided viewpoints on how the country should be run. Following the military coup that ended the previous regime, the political ideology of our people can be split into three parts-those loyal to the current government, those loyal to the previous government, and a small core of Orthodox activists who are waging a war against both sides in the name of God.
It is for this reason that we ask your advice. How can we put an end to this spiral of violence and finally bring peace to this troubled nation?
