The jist of this talk is to increase our military capacities within the jurisdiction of the UN. - Independent States - has already begun work on an intricate space based excalibur weapons system. We in this region are planning on creating small but extremely well trained and equipped armies. However, we need to continue in our efforts to increase regional defense. From there we can move on into the process of creating war with other countries. I, Fuhrer Richtoff, Leader of Kampfers, along with Usmantopia, sec. of war, and - Independent States -, sec. of defense, will oversee this journey.

General Jorg Klischten Declares Creation of new Army in Kampfers

I am here today to declare the designation of a new army by my beloved republic, the Armed Republic of Kampfers. We are currently developing a high-tech military force, to be called the Kampfers Spec-Ops Army. While the technology used in this army is already in place, this force will take time to develop due to the long and rigorous training neccessary for the individual soldier. Currently I am not at liberty to share the full details of this army, but you can expect it relatively 250,000 men. Each man will be equipped with a basic army pack, with every 5th man designated to a special role. These roles can include but are not limited to: sniper, pilot, driver, and communications ranger. This army will be divided as follows. There will be 5 corps. Each corp will have 5 divisions, each of which will have 2 brigades. Each brigade will contain 2 regiments. These regiments will contain 3 battalions. Finally, each battalion will have 4 companies. Thus our army will have a 5-5-2-2-2-3-4 breakdown. I am not at full liberty to expose the technology being used, but only state-of-the-art weaponry and machinery is being used. We thank you for your ongoing support of our military.

As of today the 666th ISA (Independent States Army) Special Warfare Detachment will undergo a reequip and rearmament program. Their strength in manpower will also be increased from 50,000 men to 150,000 men. The ISN (Independent States Navy) will also be undergoing a rearmament program bringing the total number of active naval vessels from 150 to 370 over the next two months.

Orbital platforms 1-15 are now operational, ground based Railguns 1-20 are now operational, the main H.E.P.L. (high energy plasma laser) unit is 48% complete. The first of ninety advanced air defense fighters have been delivered to ISAF's 2nd air division. Excalibur is now at 39% operational readiness. The first of the Scinfaxi submarine aircraft carriers were delivered to the ISN.

As of now the ISM is announcing a cooperative defense treaty, known as the Zealot Defense Pact. Joining will place you under the protection of all member's military's including the ISSC's Excalibur missile defense system. Under this protective umbrella you will be immune from all conventional means of attack, from bombers to ICBMs Excalibur can destroy any airborne threat. PS. There is no possible way that you can ever be immune to any attack. And by the fact that you are a 8 million nation means that there is truly no way you can possibly afford to afford such a military. Please take money, resources, and time into consideration when building your military.

Fuhrer Richtoff fully Endorses Zealot Defense Pact

Not a surprise to anyone, but today Fuhrer Richtoff announced his agreement with the treaty. “I am happy that we finally have a working defensive pact. This has been necessary in this region for some time now. I full-heartedly endorse this proposal. I thank the people of - Independent States – and their leader for writing this pact. We, the country of Kampfers, will live under this pact until we cannot live any more.” This has been Michael Muller with KNN, Kampfers News Network.

Fuhrer Richtoff of Kampfers Reveals Military Secrets

Today the leader of the up-and-coming nation of Kampfers revealed the future of Kampfers Spec-Ops Army. During his monthly press conference, he was questioned about the secrecy of this army and if he could describe it in more detail. “I have no problem telling you more about this army. Although it has been shrouded in secrecy, I believe it is time to tell the truth to my people” Richtoff said. “They have long trusted me and I do not want that trust to end now. Our basic soldier will be equipped with the absolute latest in technology. This includes form-fitting body armor. In addition to fitting the form of the individual soldier’s body, this protection has been proven to reduce injuries by 62%. It also weighs only 10 pounds, thus dramatically reducing the weight while increasing the protection. In each soldiers helmet will be a HUD (head up display) and a hands free radio. The HUD will perform many important tasks, for example displaying the soldier’s vital signs, displaying ammunition data, and displaying a map of the surrounding area. This map will be constantly updated with the locations of friendly and hostile soldiers. The soldier will be able to communicate with his squad through the radio. The soldier can be located at all times through the RFID (radio frequency identification technology) tag now embed in his dog tag. Soldiers will be equipped with the latest in weapon technology, based on their job. The Air Force division of the Kampfers Spec-Ops Army will be largely based upon an improved version of the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter. This plane will be called the KA-JSF 163. It can function as both a fighter and bomber, and is nearly invisible to radar. Key to the Air Force’s success will be the SOI 214, or the Spec-Ops Infiltrator. This is a vertical take-off and landing aircraft for transporting troops to hostile areas. This will make the helicopter irrelevant, as it is more maneuverable, and can fly as a plane for quicker transit times. Another important plane in our arsenal will be the RP 333. This recon platform is an unmanned flying wing capable of long duration surveillance flights, measured in weeks and not hours. The last key component of the Air Force division is the IF 36. This is an unmanned fighter with visual stealth. As time progresses, more of our fighters will be the IF 36 as opposed to the KA-JSF 163. Another integral piece of this military will be its ability to respond to any situation, anywhere in the world within minutes. This will be accomplished through the newly developed sub-orbital transit system. This system, to be known as the SOTS, starts with soldiers boarding a long range lander, the LRL 324. Then, a carrier craft, the CC 142, will take the LRL 324 to a normal airplane flying altitude and launch it into sub-orbital space. The LRL will fire its own rockets for the ascent into space, and coast to the conflict area, where it will reenter the atmosphere and fly to a smooth landing. This system will transport our soldiers anywhere in the world in under 10 minutes. However, this system must land at a runway, thus showing the necessity of the SOI 214. The Navy division of the Kampfers Spec-Ops Army will be based upon the growing importance of a quick, agile fleet. This being said, aircraft carriers will be reduced to 60% of their current size. However, the mobilization movement does not stop there. The majority of the Navy, however, will be a new class of Destroyers. These destroyers are the most mobile in the world, and have the weapon systems necessary to take down even the largest aircraft carriers or battleships. Two examples of these ships are the DDX Destroyers and the Littoral Combat Ship. These ships will be able to travel into the shallowest of waters, taking naval combat to the next level. The radar on both ships will be a dual band system, 15 times stronger than current systems. Electric propulsion allows them to run quietly so that submarines can not pick them up. The versatility of this destroyer, however, is the main component, as it will be able to carry out almost any operation. Land vehicles are also reaching a new frontier. On the back of each humvee or jeep will be a mounted Metal Storm cannon. This weapon replaces mechanical firing systems in conventional guns with coded electrical ignitions. These can be programmed to fire at any rate, with up to a million rounds per minute in certain multi-barrel configurations. Another key vehicle will be the 2 man non-line-of-sight canon. This canon can hit targets up to 20 miles away with its 215mm howitzer with pinpoint accuracy. The mobile non-line-of-sight launch system packs 15 missiles. Important to every nation is their missile system. Since Kampfers is protected by the Excalibur system, only offensive missiles are necessary. Trident III missiles are the primary set. These missiles are currently the best performing ICBMs available. They are quickly being phased out, however, by our new GS 360 missiles. These missiles have global strike capabilities, thus the name. Launched from a silo inside Kampfers, these missiles launch like an old Apollo rocket, losing boosters as it climbs. They leave the atmosphere briefly, before discharging multiple warheads. Before these warheads are discharged, however, the missile orbits to above the target zone. Then the warheads are discharged and fall back to earth, landing on the target zone and eliminating all traces of life. While these weapons are currently only a deterrent, if provoked Kampfers will use this unbelievable force. Finally, we are commissioning the best soldiers as an elite Tango Squad. This squad will be equipped with the newest weapons before they are phased into the entire military. However, the most unique thing about this squad is that their body armor will be made of metamaterial. This material literally makes objects invisible. Recent breakthroughs by our scientists have allowed us to create metamaterial cloaks that can make a whole man invisible. However, this comes at a high cost and thus will not be introduced to the entire army. I thank you for your ongoing support of me, your military, and your region. Excalibur Weapon System construction to be assisted by Kampfers

General Klischten announced today that Kampfers would be assisting the honorable - Independent States - in the building of the Excalibur Weapons System. In his address to the public, Klischten emphasized the mutual benefits received by both countries. "This is a great day for the Zealots Without a Cause region. Since we are now assisting in the construction of this weapons system, the defensive emplacements will be operational in a much shorter timeframe. Then we will all experience the beauty of an impregnable defense." On another note, General Klischten noted that the new army was currently on schedule. With the main H.E.P.L. facility reaching completion and all railgun facilities online, ISAF will begin testing of the space based systems. Over the next three days the H.E.P.L. will be readied for its first test firing, a SLBM launched from the ISS Konolov will provide the target.
