The Hitchhiker's Guide to the NS world...(interests thread)

In short, a Siap Tribune writer is contracted to begin the daunting task of creating a guide to visiting the nations of the world for as cheap as possible. The writer assigned to the task, Max Costigan, just happens to idolize Hunter S. Thompson, and has no fear.

Anyone interested in allowing Costigan to blunder across their country or want to contribute a character?

I think I'd be interested in this, mostly as a way to give a perspective on the inner workings of the Chevrokian Republic.
The Kraven Corporation

Feel Free to send someone into Kraven Territory, expect a frosty reception, but your reporter is welcome to report on what some regard as Hell itself..

The Klatch (The Entire Federated Klatchian Coast not just A+H) would welcome you with open arms, flippers, jaws, mouths, etc.

After all the Klatch specializes in plants that will eat you, elves that will eat you, preditors that would eat an entire roman legion for lunch, illogically logical events, and a world view that says...*Keep Out*

Things that Costigan will possibly wander into in the Klatch:

Walruses that 'sing' funny drinking song and wear silly hats...and have Opera's that feature gas masks.

Cute Bunnies with a taste for Blood

The hunting of massive crocs using stuffed animals

Trees that will eat you.

A massive city state where the local crime lords protect the average citizens and the upper crust are too busy trying to kill each other to run the place. Where it is illegal to own a car...but everyone does anyway.

And Fodians...we haven't figured out how to describe them yet...

Moantha
20-03-2007, 21:21
Certainly. Seeing Moantha cheap would be riddiculously easy, considering I'm a rather socialistish state, and maintain free four bed and breakfast's for visitors.
The World Soviet Party

Sure, no problem.
Vault 10
20-03-2007, 21:57
It may turn out a very interesting thing.

Particularly, Vault lands are... so to say - there are no borders and taxes, of course, even no government. But there's a lot of radioactive spots left after a nuclear bombardment. And evil, cunning and hard-biting geckos. On top of that, there are crime syndicates and corporations, out of which the latter are probably a greater evil.
Normally, people travel by air with fighter escorts. But there are subways, some railroads, remainders of old roads; rail and car caravans crossing some areas - an entire world of people whose ancestors weren't lucky enough to be admitted to the Vaults. A world with many specific features.

So if Max is mad and so wants to cross the lands, hitching hikes along the way, that will prove a dangerous, but interesting travel.

I'm glad to see all of the interest.

Details:
The reporter will likely be staying in some of the cheaper hotels. He will report on the tourist-y stuff like sights, but he will also report on the bars, hpw easy it is to score illegal drugs, how the locals tolerate loud, drunken foreigners and more about the red-light district.

If at all possible, I would like my reporter to survive, but he won't necessarily be in the business of making friends.

Who wants the reporter to grace their nation first?
