Oslean mega-corporations Mirage and O-Corp have donated items totalling up to $10 million combined to the couple, and Anna Karpa proceed to faint when the news was heard."

Official Message to All Citizens to the World

Hello fellow citizens of the world!

We are celebrating our 1 billionth citizen, Daniel Karpa, and we invite you to join in our wonderful festivities, which, whether you are rich or poor, male or female, young or old, are sure to be enjoyed!

We would be honored to accept all visitors into the country* and have you join in our 1 billionth citizen celebrations. They are all free, and we just want Oslea and the world to have a great time.

We will have nation-wide celebrations but the best are to be had in Amber Crown, where the baby was born. Go to our carnival, go paintballing, go karting, roller coasting, heck, our Oslean military even donated a few scrap cars and a few tanks to let citizens drive one and run a car over. There's fun to be had!

Our government's even paid for free return trip flights for two weeks on Air Oslea, so you can come to Oslea free and celebrate with us our significant 1 billionth citizen milestone. Even if you already live in Oslea, forget all the recent bad news and troubles and come have fun!

The Karpas were still not out of the hospital yet when news spread of the 1 Billionth citizen, and the PM sent his personal letter to the world. The Government and Air Oslea were anticipating this ever since the country hit 998 million, and hatched a free flight plan to be effective immediately when the 1 billionth citizen was born.

The couple was about to exit the hospital when they were greeted by 300,000 people congratulating them outside the hospital. One wonders how emergency calls got into the hospital...

A reporter came up and asked the Karpas how they felt.

"It's... Wonderful! It's not every day your child is the 1 billionth citizen in Oslea!" The father said of the occasion.

"I....I..." The mother almost fainted until she regained normailty again. "I'm so happy! I mean... This is a one in a billion chance!"

"Haha, nice joke. Well, the Federation's News Network and the Oslean Government would like to present you with this luxury family car, and a new home in the west side!" the reporter told them.

"Omigosh!" The mother said.

"Don't faint again..." the father reminded her.

Surprisingly, the baby was snugly sleeping in a stroller the mother was pushing despite the raucous crowd (it was too dangerous for her to carry her, since there was a big chance she'd faint again) until a squadron of four F-26 Hydras flew overhead, firing flares for a firework-like display, complete with contrails coming from the engines. The crowd heard the roar of the jets from below, and the baby cried.
