We will not help extortionists; it is our understanding that the World Soviet block party has been quite reasonable asking only for the refugees so they may enjoy a better standard of living than in there native home. while we remain neutral on the issue of comunism we hope someone has a nuke happy on your backwater pissant nation.

bah it has been like 4 hours and my posts are really dated now :-(

Captain Foquerault stood at the Helipad, listening intently to his comm-unit.

"Looks like he's not coming, guys" he said to nobody in particular..he summoned his master-sergeant, and issued his orders... the Heli swerved away quickly as to get well into neutral territory before the invaders arrived

Alright boys, pack it up, we're moving out in T+2, team six, prepare demolitions, team twelve you cover the perimeter until we are all clear, then you guys high-tail it out of here in the miniboats, and we meet up at rendez-vous point Satchmo 4, is that understood?

The 3rd SPADS started to pack up, and Foquerault was in more than one way greatful that his cover as humanitarian aid-workers did not have to be blown.. after all the Free Lands of QTWolf was not a LARGE nation, even as hopefull refugees and immigrants flocked to their banner in numbers unimagined by anyone..still their military, being state of the art, was small in size. insignificant in comparison with some of the larger, more militaristic nations..

Foquerault spoke into his comm-unit.."to all teams, the gin is COLD, I repeat, the gin is COLD" and one after the other the teams reported in,their missions all completed.. the operation was entering it's final and most delicate stage...

Unkown to any Harbour control a few large cargo-freighters were heading out of port, as the control tower had been jammed to allow the undetected departure of the 3rd SPADS and their prize..

The Freighters had only just reached international waters when the first elements of the invading Communist forces appeared on the far end of the radar-spectrum.. but Foquerault knew these were assault fighters to clear the path for the invasion force, and they were mere minutes away..

On board of the SS Tangmere Captain Foquerault opened his laptop, and tuned in to a remote camera they had left behind on the quaiside picked up a transistor-radio, and took it apart, reforming some unobrusive parts into a remote detonator.. and waited....

it was only minutes later, when the fighters hit the port and engaged the AA-defences, that Foquerault pressed the kill-switch, and ten tons of critically placed semtex turned the port area into a veritable inferno, sinking many ships and completely destroying the harbor-control.. not very likely they would miss a few cargo-freighters now, he mused..

As salvaged equipment had been used , and semtex is semtex wherever you take it, he was not very worried that anything could trace back to them..

A few hours later all the ships were thorougly searched by Communist Navy, but by then the 3rd SPADS was already miles away (at least their equipment and tags were) in one of the few Seal-class Submarines the Free Lands of QTWolf had to their disposal..

In some far-off harbor the ships were re-named, re-painted, re-fitted, re-registered and new GPS-transponders were fitted... Foquerault paid the harbor official his tithe for doing all the ground-work, and then the ships were legally bought by a representative of the QTWolf government in order to facilitate cheese-exports, with 20% for the local authorities, and any profit would go nicely to outfitting the SPAD squads with new transport and vessels.

Foquerault had done his homework well, and had picked a port with shipyard, and the rogue ships were slipped onto the production-roster, and nothing connected him with the buyers of the ships..

Foquerault took a plain-ride back home, and later that night was rejoined with his wife and children..

Four weeks of R&R later, Foquerault received the casll for his new assignment, a legit OP this time, and Command had informed him that if he completed this mission without failthere would be opportunity for promotion..Major Foquerault, he let it play in his mind as he leafed through his mission briefing..

Refugee extraction, and some supplying of persecuted citizens, all legit... only two teams of SPADS, this time, and three platoons of "cannibals", QTWolf's best kept secret....

Foquerault read up on the "cannibals" profile, and smiled wrily... mechanics first and soldiers second..... their combat record only slightly less impressive as the SAS or his own SPADS... the equivalent of a Pioneer unit, but without the label..

The sinews of war are infinite money, thought Foquerault as he summoned his staff-sergeant and started to run the mission past him......
