[Ch69 Newswire] Today the government announced that daylight savings time will not be observed any longer. On March 15 this year all clocks in The Phoenix Milita will be set back 30 minutes and just left there. :D

Setting the time off by one half hour may set matters off - normally, since time zones vary by exact hours, everyone is on the same minute settings; this will not be true in your case.

In other news, several vocal and widely disrespected groups have begun lobbying for the abolition of daylight savings time in The Community, alleging that it is an abomination against nature and that those who adhere to it should be put to death. The groups cited that The Phoenix Militia was obviously a "true model after which enlightened nations should follow."
The ministry of the little things no one cares about invited these groups to submit their petitions, assuring that they would be processed in an orderly fashion and not lost in the sea of beaurocracy.

This is the evening news. Our top story...
Today's meeting of Parliament was abruptly ended when both the Prime Minister and the Leader of the Opposition were forced to rush out of the hall for an unknown reason. The rumour is that they both suffered what has been described as "hellish, nightmarish diarrhoea" as the result of some tainted food in the cafeteria, according to one inside source. It is believed that those responsible were connected to the Phoenix Militia if only due to Mr. Lapierre's statements yesterday. The Prime Minister has stated that if such an event occurs again, he will do his damndest to have the Phoenix Militia acid-bombed. It would be a bit of a problem considering an acid bomb is years off at the moment, but he was adamant.
