I was recently involved with a WW2 Offsite RP that was very fun, but it died due to a number of reasons, namely some lack of rules. Once I generate enough interest, I will make the forms with initial rules. Trust me its very fun, it just needs to be more organized. Any nation can be played.

Alrights ladies and Gentlemen, There is enough people to start. The Forums will be updated and ready tomorrow. The starting date is either 1936,37, or 38, its up to you. Posting will begin in two days, but you can sign up tomorrow. We will give three days after the start date for people to post, or their nations are open. I will be playing as Hungary. After I decide to join as a certain faction, I will make someone else an Admin on the other side to avoid any potential issues.

That would work well for the US, (minority opinion in congress, and someone could Rp the different theaters of war)

Yeah, starting in 36 sound like it would be the best. That is before the officer purges and more importantly its before the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact.
